It was one fine afternoon when my girlfriend and I decided to have some fun singing on our karaoke. While we were at it, my girl saw this small piece of paper inside the song book. It was a list of songs my dad had written on a paper so that he wouldn't have to search for it if he wanted to sing those songs again.

Me being too lazy to look for songs to sing, I decided to just use my dads list and just sing them all whether I know them or not. After singing five or even more songs, One song stayed inside me and just started singing it on a random.

The song was "Inspector Mills" by "America" from their album "View from the ground."
I have no idea why of all the songs I sang, this is the one that got me a last song syndrome, its not even the last song I actually sung or even heard.

Well one thing's for sure, Its one beautiful song. For those who don't know the song, here's some lyrics and video for you.

Where to buy flesh tunnel earrings in the Philippines

I never thought that this would be a one of the most searched keywords that drives readers into my blog. Then I realized, I was actually searching about it before too.

I wasn't able to blog for a while due to being busy with all my stuff and being so lazy to think of anything to share. So to all of my readers who waited for this post, I shall share to you every information I have when it comes to where to buy your flesh tunnel earrings.

If you're just like me who happens to have not enough budget to buy some cool earrings, I suggests that you just have to be resourceful on looking for anything that you can fit inside your ear, just make sure that its clean and safe.

I'm sure its still hard to look for an improvise ear plugs when its just on the beginning phase, but trust me, 'cause I'm actually using a bottle cap of an astringent as my ear plug.

For those rich fags out there who has a lot of money to spend and waste over something costly, you can always buy your ear plugs on REBEL GEAR. I'm not promoting them, but they are the most accessible outlet that I know who sells ear plugs. I'm not sure if every SM malls has one, but SM North and Trinoma have Rebel Gear Shops.

And for those who are near Recto, there are a lot of tattoo and body piercing shops out there that actually offers a customized ear plugs depending on the size of your tunnel, using maple wood if I'm not mistaken.

If you're asking how much it'll cost, I can't give you a solid information about it, since it depends on how big your tunnel is. But on Rebel Gear, the smallest one would cost around 200 pesos per piece. When I said small, its hardcore small.

Expanding your flesh tunnel : A tip for thick ears

Having a flesh tunnel on a stretchable soft ear is easy, but having a flesh tunnel on someone who have a thick hard ear is as hard as their ears.

Stretchable ears can have a 10mm flesh tunnel instanly, without having any bruise inside due to the stretching process. When the slight pain from stretching is finally gone, they can just use silicone stretchers to reach the size that they want. It was that easy for them.

Thick and hard ear is more likely to have more regular ear piercings than to have a flesh tunnel on it. The reason is because it can handle the weight of many earrings and it can handle piercings that are too close to each other, but it can't handle the stretching process a flesh tunnel needs. When one forced its ear to stretched into a huge size, it will leave their ears in a bloody mess and massive swelling due to the flesh that was cut inside their ears. Instead of having their ear stretched, they will resort to just removing the earring because of the pain and the bruises of their ears.

I too have a thick skinned ear. Its not stretchable like other ears. When I was just starting to have my ears stretched, I was really having a hard time.

I started with just normal earrings. These are round earrings wherein I could put some weights on it whenever I'm at home. I was doing it for a week until my ear finally stretched a little. A size that is enough for me to put a much thicker earring, but still a regular earring, about the same size or even thicker than that of what is used on my tongue piercing.

It was still a round earring, wherein I could still put some weight on it whenever I'm at home. As day comes, I replaced the weight to a much heavier stuff. It was from the smallest pad lock to a normal sized pad lock.

After a week, I replaced it again with something bigger, and the stick of the cotton buds is the best that I could get for my ear.

Week after week I replaced it with something bigger, but only 2mm bigger than what I was using. And while I was having my ear stretched, I regularly massage it and stretch it to have a bigger space for my next ear stretcher.

Disposable straws really helped me a lot on this stretching process, I was eating on every restaurant I know and collected their straws and compare their sizes at home and use it as my ear stretcher.

If you also have a thick ear, my tip is don't get too exited on putting on a huge size of earring 'cause it will turn your ear into a disgusting piece of flesh. You can also reach the size of those who have a stretchable ear, but it will take time. Patience is a virtue.

I now have a 15mm flesh tunnel in both of my ears, and I'm still stretching it until I finally reached my desire size which is 20mm to 25mm.

Typhoon Pedring sends every umbrella to hell

On my way to the mall to enjoy some coffee and to abuse their WiFi, I was forced to use umbrella due to the harsh weather typhoon Pedring has struck Metro Manila.

I'm not someone who normally brings an umbrella with me, 'cause I hate holding something while walking around 'cause I tend to lost it.

Typhoon Pedring struck Metro Manila with strength reaching signal number two. It doesn't have that much rain on it, but it gives hell strong winds!

As I was walking outside, I was with six other people all carrying our own umbrella. It was like a struggle to go against strong winds just to be able to enter a sanctuary against typhoon Pedring.

Just like an army on a war, one by one our umbrellas was destroyed by the strong winds, when I said destroyed, it was totally destroyed! Sheets separating from its skeleton, skeletons broken into pieces.

It was actually funny how we tried to prevent our umbrellas to turn into a total wreck, but still wasn't able to save it.

After all that I've been through, I learned some lessons on how to survive the troubles that I had, that's why I wanted to share some tips about it.

Tip # 1: Never buy cheap umbrellas - Even if you follow all the tips that I will be giving, if you own a cheap umbrella, it will never work. Because a cheap umbrellas skeleton is made up of very weak metal that will easily bend.

Tip # 2: Stay near a wall - A wall will save you from winds that comes from different directions or being hit directly by strong wind.

Tip # 3: Hold your umbrella near - On the event that you don't have any walls to come near to, just keep your umbrella near your body, just like how the Spartans held their shield barricading direct attack.

Tip # 4: Place your umbrella where the wind is - Placing your umbrella where the wind is hitting you while following the third tip, will definitely save your umbrella while looking like a fool dancing tango in the rain, but it'll save your umbrella for sure.

Tip # 5: Run like hell - In the event that all of my tips are not applicable, just fold your umbrella and run like hell to any place that can cover you from the rain and strong wind.

Those are the tips that I can share from my recent experience from typhoon Pedring. I hope that could help you because I haven't thought about it while I was outside that's why my poor umbrella was sent to hell.

This was supposed to be posted last July, but as always, I'm so lazy to post about it.

This is about three siblings got nothing to do with their ears and decided to have a tragus piercing.

But what exactly is a Tragus piercing?

The tragus piercing is a perforation of the ear for the purpose of inserting and wearing a piece of jewelry. The tragus projects immediately in front of the ear canal. The piercing itself is usually made with a small gauge hollow piercing needle, and typical jewelry would be a small diameter captive bead ring or small gauge post style piercing jewelry.

The hollow, low-gauge needle used for the piercing can be either straight or curved, depending on the piercer's preference. Tragus piercings are not painful due to a relatively smaller number of nerve endings in the tragus.

Body piercers recommend about 12-18 weeks before changing the earring as it has a high risk of getting infected due to long hair getting caught around the earring, any hair product residue, or improper cleaning. Also, swelling of the tissue can cause the earring to get caught in the skin possibly resulting in hospital surgery and removal of the tragus if the earring is replaced too early.

The popularity of tragus piercings began to increase around 2005, according to the BBC.

A tragus piercing is simply a piercing on that tiny flesh just between your face and your ear.

My sister is the one who wanted us to have this type of body modification, and she actually has the most number of piercings amongst us three.

She requested it after arriving here in the Philippines after being gone for a year teaching hopeless kids to learn English abroad.

We had our tragus piercings done at Grand Central Mall, I believe its at Monumento. There's a small tattoo and body piercing shop there that definitely looks creepy and infested by different types of germs, specially the guy who pierced us. >:|

My sister and my younger brother happens to be both anemic, and they can't handle too much of the pain a piercing gives, specially my younger brother. Luckily, I happen to not have the same handicapped as them.

I wasn't able to take a photo of my tragus piercing that day, 'cause I was too busy takig care of them after getting groggy because of their new piercing. Until now I haven't taken any photo of it 'cause my ear is too dirty. LOL

I added something about its aftercare here, but my internet connection went out and it wasn't save! Now I'm too lazy to type it again. GODDAMNIT! Oh well, I will just have to create a separate post about it then.

Landmark Trinoma Cosplay Awesomeness!

I've always longed to post something about this awesomeness, but just like before, laziness had always stopped me.

I wasn't supposed to post about it, but its way to awesome to ignore!

I had always been to Landmark Supermarket, the one on Trinoma mall, and every month they have this themes wherein security personnel wears costumes for it.

I happen to ask one of them about where they get all these costumes from and if they have to pay for it. He said their management is the one who's giving them all of their costumes and they don't have to pay for it because they have to return it after every theme.

Yeah! I guess their management keeps it for next year. That's kinda disgusting isn't it? Well that's just me.

This month of September, Landmark's theme is "Landmark Cosplay and Sports Challenge." The awesome part is they have to wear Naruto outfit, and we all know who Naruto is.*I hope*

It was so awesome that I took a picture of them, of course with me! ;)

I decided to put the Awesome face to cover my face 'cause I looked terribly stupid trying to stop smiling because of their awesomeness. LOL

The first photo was taken at the entrance from Trinoma to Landmark, while the second was taken at the entrance from the parking lot. I was supposed to take more pictures, but it was already late and I have to do my groceries before it closes.

BTW. From the theme itself, it says there Sports Challenge, you're probably wondering where's the sports challenge on just doing cosplay.

Before their team was "Landmark Dance Party", and they have these hot girls dancing on a stage following steps from a game on XBOX Kinect. You can participate to the challenge if you have a minimum purchase of 500 pesos. *That's what I heard*

This September, they setup a small boxing ring like stage, and still with XBOX Kinect. They only have these challenges every weekends, and you will actually win something from it, I guess they call it consolation prize, LOL

I'm looking forward for next months theme. I'll be posting about it from now on! Good luck to me!

Share a load by Globe

This something that I just recently learned.

I have been a Smart Telecommunication subscriber, and I just recently used the services of Globe Telecommunication that's why I don't know anything about it.

This post is just to share you guys on how to share a load on Globe, if ever there are still people there who still doesn't know how to do it.

I have been wondering how to do this one, though I'm always in front of the internet, It never crossed my mind to search it over the internet. Yeah that's pretty stupid I know.

It was my girl "AGAIN" who taught me how to use this service from Globe. Well its not her actually, she just asked her cousin about it, then share it with me, because I was asking her how to do it. Now its my turn to share it with you guys!

Sharing a load on Globe is a little different with how we do it on Smart.

You have to type in (Amount)[space](SIM PIN) and send to the recipient you want to share your load with, but instead of +63 or 0, you have to replace it with 2.

example: 50 0000 *NOTE: 0000 is the default PIN and send to 2916789012

I'm not good with poetry, I'm not good with words, but whenever I wanted to make a poem, I make one.
Back when I was still on my High School days, my English teacher taught me how to create one type of poetry, and that is none other than a Sonnet.

I was fascinated on how it is done, because of the patterns of syllables and rhyming words needed to make one. I used to write a lot of it back then, too bad I never kept a copy of it. So I wanted to try it once again, I hope this will sound pleasing to all of you.

Enjoy my first sonnet, titled "Sonnet 1"

Staying up on a bitterly cold night.
Your face is the only thing on my mind.
Starring on a blank, sad, and lonely sight.
Still looking for something i could not find.

Reminiscing times when we're together.
Times when we're just talking the night away.
I know I can't make it any longer.
I want to be beside you, if you may.

Fate played a bad joke and kept us apart.
But a heart that fights for its better half,
Will always find a way to never thwart.
In the end, true love will have its last laugh.

When we can finally be together,
I vow to stay beside you forever.

Yeah, I know it sucks! You don't have to rub it in. But if you have any suggestions you could give me to improve my sonnet writing, I deeply appreciate it.

Empires & Allies: The Art of Defending

I have long wanted to post about this guide, I was just too busy these days that's why I haven't find the time to post about it. But the long wait is over, I can finally post about this awesome guide.

The root of every empire on Empires & Allies is its army, and no other way to have a dominant army but through smart upgrading and smart selection of army.

The first purpose of army is to defend all your buildings by placing them right next to it. On that manner, I wanted to talk about how to properly use your army to defend your buildings. This would be the smart way of defending your empire.

On some empires, they divide their normal buildings by four, and place armies around it, that is actually good, but that would be too much waste of space.
An invasion has a three by three box size, therefore its nine boxes in total. Knowing this, we can now divide your buildings properly.

When you divide it by nine and play an army around it, it could defend all of your buildings properly, you could feel at ease then, but knowing how to place your army is not enough, you should also know what to place.

When we are talking about placing an army beside your buildings while saving space, we could only mean placing land armies, but of course you could always place water armies around your island to help defend those buildings around the edges of your island.

Land armies has three types, Foot Soldiers, Artillery, and Tanks. Most players defend their buildings by tanks for the reason that it has the highest amount of life points, but having a huge amount of life points is not enough reason to choose it as your defender.

Damage of an army depends on what type of army they are attacking, therefore every army type has its own strengths and weaknesses. On that manner, placing purely tanks to defend your buildings will definitely lose to artillery easily.

Therefore, the smart way of defending your empire would be by placing one of each types of army around your buildings.

Dragona PH OBT

Gameclub finally releases the schedule of their most awaited Dragona Online Philippines OBT.

After successfully launching the game last July 28, 2011, Gameclub feels that this is the right time and the game is finally ready to be released to its full blast OBT phase.

Like all MMORPG's, Dragona PH encountered a lot of issues, like server issues, bug issues, and the most recently, hacking issues. But after all of it has been solved, Gameclub finally set the schedule for Dragon PH's OBT.

Dragona PH will be having some pre-OBT tests before launching Dragona PH OBT in full blast. There would be scheduled activities like maintenance and other stuff.

On August 7, 2011 10pm, servers will temporarily shutdown for more maintenance and cleaning up, and it will be a five day downtime for game/technical fix and server stability fix. During this phase, CBT characters will not be wiped out yet.

Servers will be up and running again on August 12, 2011 10am for some cash items implementation. You could still play your CBT characters for three more days, because CBT phase will officially end on August 14, 2011 at exactly 10pm.

After officially ending the CBT phase, all characters that was made during the CBT phase will be wiped out, and there would be a one day transition before running the servers again.

OBT will officially start on August 16, 2011 at exactly 2pm, so get yourselves ready for action but also expect some server flooding due to the massive numbers of players that will be participating early on.

Dragona Introduction
According to the "Book of the Genesis," the world was created by the Goddess of Light, "Huanis" and her five Dragon Lords. They created many fine dragons to populate the lands. But one dragon named "Jurtan", born of the ashes of creation, mutated and brought forth the vices of darkness, jealousy, despair and death to the world. He acquired followers and became a great threat to the peace of Magic Earth.

To subdue the evil Jurtan, the five Dragon Lords banished him to the continent of "Bartan," known as "The Land of Death". With the evil dragon out of the way, the Goddess and Dragon Lords paid no further attention to him. Enraged, Jurtan escaped and declared war on his Dragon brothers. Thus began "The Dragon Wars" which lasted for 1000 days.

The Dragon brothers eventually won and received blessings from the Goddess. Jurtan was again sent to Bartan, this time with a seal that would prevent his escape. Feeling pity for the countless dragons who died during the war, the Goddess Huanis created stars in the night sky from their sacred souls to honor them and their memory. But the evil Jurtan, unable to become a star, in his bitterness and resentment toward the Goddess cursed her land with this prophecy:

"Although my body decays, my wrath and hatred toward you shall continue through the blood I shed and poison the land for a thousand years. On the day my blood overflows and soaks my heart again, I shall rise again."

When enough time had passed for history to become legend, and legend to turn into myth, in the year 999 of the Vedic calendar, an omen appeared one day. A meteor shower appeared in the red sky and the Thebes River overflowed with dark waters. This was known as "The Seal of the Great Storm" and with it, the seal that bound Bartan was broken.

To prevent Jurtan's self-predicted resurrection, the faithful followers of the Goddess Huanis, known as the "Order of Huanis", began a Holy War against the followers of Jurtan in Bartan. They were joined by Dragona warriors who were capable of becoming "possessed" by the dragon spirits of the stars. They gathered around Bartan, as if drawn together by fate. Their Mission: To defeat the evil Jurtan and bring honor and glory to the name of Dragona!

But what they found in Bartan was very different from what was described in the "Book of the Genesis." As the Dragona warriors fought in their quests, the true meaning of their dragon blood was gradually unveiled. Contrary to what the historical records of their legendary "Dragon Wars" taught, the truth about Jurtan and the Goddess Huanis surfaced, along with the real enemy that they must face...

The adventures of Dragona had just begun.

From the gaming label that brought us online games such as Cross Fire and Special Force, Game club released its newest edition to their online games.

Dragona PH successfully started its closed beta phase last Thursday and was massively overwhelmed by the amount of players that was waiting for it to start. Due to the overwhelming numbers of players, the game added a new server to accommodate the amount of entering players as they continue to grow.

There are currently two available servers, Ezulan and Juda.

Like all games during their CBT phase, server errors and disconnections are expected. The CBT phase will last until August 17, 2011.

Dragona PH CBT Events

A. THE BUG HUNT - Open to all pre-beta participants. An event that focusses on finding bugs/glitches on all UI, Game Functions, Features, Etc.

B. CHAMPIONS OF BARTAN - Top 10 Players (per server) at the end of the pre-beta phase.

C. THE AMAZING RACE - First 100 players to reach level 35

D. AN EPIC VOYAGE - The player who has achieved the highest level at the end of pre-beta phase wins. 1 winner per server. If 2 or more players have the same level, winner will be based on the EXP gained, then Battle Points (PVP).

Sa bawat sandali po ng pamamahala ay nahaharap tayo sa isang sangandaan.

Sa isang banda po ay ang pagpili para sa ikabubuti ng taumbayan. Ang pagtanaw sa interes ng nakakarami; at pagkapit sa prinsipyo; at ang pagiging tapat sa sinumpaan nating tungkulin bilang lingkod-bayan. Ito po ang tuwid na daan.

Naglaan ng dalawang bilyong piso na Calamity Fund bilang paghahanda para sa mga kalamidad na hindi pa nangyayari. Napakaliit na nga ng pondong ito, ngunit kapapasok pa lang natin sa panahon ng baha at bagyo, 1.4 billion pesos o sitenta porsyento (70%) na ang nagastos.

Sa kabuuan ng 108 million pesos para sa lalawigan ng Pampanga, 105 million pesos nito ay napunta sa iisang distrito lamang.

Samantala, ang lalawigan ng Pangasinan na sinalanta ng Pepeng ay nakatanggap ng limang milyong piso (P5M) lamang para sa pinsalang idinulot ng bagyong Cosme, na nangyari noong 2008 pa.

Ibinigay po ang pondo ng Pampanga sa buwan ng eleksyon, pitong buwan pagkatapos ng Ondoy at Pepeng. Paano kung bumagyo bukas? Inubos na ang pondo nito para sa bagyong nangyari noong isang taon pa. Pagbabayaran ng kinabukasan ang kasakiman ng nakaraan.

Ganyan din po ang nangyari sa pondo ng MWSS. Kamakailan lamang, pumipila ang mga tao para lang makakuha ng tubig. Sa kabila nito, minabuti pa ng liderato ng MWSS na magbigay ng gantimpala sa sarili kahit hindi pa nababayaran ang pensyon ng mga retiradong empleyado.

Noong 2009, ang buong payroll ng MWSS ay 51.4 million pesos. Pero hindi lang naman po ito ang sahod nila; may mga additional allowances at benefits pa sila na aabot sa 160.1 million pesos.

Sa madaling sabi, nakatanggap sila ng 211.5 million pesos noong nakaraang taon.

Beinte-kuwatro porsyento (24%) lang nito ang normal na sahod, at sitenta'y sais porsyento ang dagdag.

Ang karaniwang manggagawa hanggang 13th month pay plus cash gift lang ang nakukuha.

Sa MWSS, aabot sa katumbas ng mahigit sa tatlumpung buwan ang sahod kasama na ang lahat ng mga bonuses at allowances na nakuha nila.

Mas matindi po ang natuklasan natin sa pasahod ng kanilang Board of Trustees. Tingnan po natin ang mga allowances na tinatanggap nila:

Umupo ka lang sa Board of Trustees at Board Committee meeting, katorse mil na. Aabot ng nobenta'y otso mil ito kada buwan. May grocery incentive pa sila na otsenta mil kada taon.

Hindi lang iyon: may mid-year bonus, productivity bonus, anniversary bonus, year-end bonus, at Financial Assistance. May Christmas bonus na, may Additional Christmas Package pa. Kada isa sa mga ito, nobenta'y otso mil.

Sa suma total po, aabot ang lahat ng dalawa't kalahating milyong piso kada taon sa bawat miyembro ng Board maliban sa pakotse, technical assistance, at pautang. Uulitin ko po. Lahat ng ito ay ibinibigay nila sa kanilang mga sarili habang hindi pa nababayaran ang mga pensyon ng kanilang mga retirees.

Pati po ang La Mesa Watershed ay hindi nila pinatawad. Para magkaroon ng tamang supply ng tubig, kailangang alagaan ang mga watershed. Sa watershed, puno ang kailangan.

Pati po iyon na dapat puno ang nakatayo, tinayuan nila ng bahay para sa matataas na opisyal ng MWSS.

Hindi naman sila agad maaalis sa puwesto dahil kabilang sila sa mga Midnight Appointees ni dating Pangulong Arroyo.

Iniimbestigahan na natin ang lahat nang ito. Kung mayroon pa silang kahit kaunting hiya na natitira - sana kusa na lang silang magbitiw sa puwesto.

Pag-usapan naman po natin ang pondo para sa imprastruktura. Tumukoy ang DPWH ng dalawandaan apatnapu't anim na priority safety projects na popondohan ng Motor Vehicle Users Charge. Mangangailangan po ito ng budget na 425 million pesos.

Ang pinondohan po, dalawampu't walong proyekto lang. Kinalimutan po ang dalawandaan at labing walong proyekto at pinalitan ng pitumpung proyekto na wala naman sa plano. Ang hininging 425 million pesos, naging 480 million pesos pa, lumaki lalo dahil sa mga proyektong sa piling-piling mga benepisyaryo lang napunta.

Mga proyekto po itong walang saysay, hindi pinag-aralan at hindi pinaghandaan, kaya parang kabuteng sumusulpot.

Tapos na po ang panahon para dito. Sa administrasyon po natin, walang kota-kota, walang tongpats, ang pera ng taumbayan ay gagastusin para sa taumbayan lamang.

Meron pa po tayong natuklasan. Limang araw bago matapos ang termino ng nakaraang administrasyon, nagpautos silang maglabas ng 3.5 billion pesos para sa rehabilitasyon ng mga nasalanta nina Ondoy at Pepeng.

Walumpu't anim na proyekto ang paglalaanan dapat nito na hindi na sana idadaan sa public bidding. Labingsiyam sa mga ito na nagkakahalaga ng 981 million pesos ang muntik nang makalusot. Hindi pa nailalabas ang Special Allotment Release Order ay pirmado na ang mga kontrata.

Buti na lang po ay natuklasan at pinigilan ito ni Secretary Rogelio Singson ng DPWH. Ngayon po ay dadaan na ang kabuuan ng 3.5 billion pesos sa tapat na bidding, at magagamit na ang pondo na ito sa pagbibigay ng lingap sa mga nawalan ng tahanan dahil kina Ondoy at Pepeng.

Pag-usapan naman natin ang nangyari sa NAPOCOR. Noong 2001 hanggang 2004, pinilit ng gobyerno ang NAPOCOR na magbenta ng kuryente nang palugi para hindi tumaas ang presyo. Tila ang dahilan: pinaghahandaan na nila ang eleksyon.

Dahil dito, noong 2004, sumagad ang pagkakabaon sa utang ng NAPOCOR. Napilitan ang pambansang gobyerno na sagutin ang dalawandaang bilyong pisong utang nito.

Ang inakala ng taumbayan na natipid nila sa kuryente ay binabayaran din natin mula sa kaban ng bayan. May gastos na tayo sa kuryente, binabayaran pa natin ang dagdag na pagkakautang ng gobyerno.

Kung naging matino ang pag-utang, sana'y nadagdagan ang ating kasiguruhan sa supply ng kuryente. Pero ang desisyon ay ibinatay sa maling pulitika, at hindi sa pangangailangan ng taumbayan. Ang taumbayan, matapos pinagsakripisyo ay lalo pang pinahihirapan.

Ganito rin po ang nangyari sa MRT. Sinubukan na namang bilhin ang ating pagmamahal. Pinilit ang operator na panatilihing mababa ang pamasahe.

Hindi tuloy nagampanan ang garantiyang ibinigay sa operator na mababawi nila ang kanilang puhunan. Dahil dito, inutusan ang Landbank at Development Bank of the Philippines na bilhin ang MRT.

Ang pera ng taumbayan, ipinagpalit sa isang naluluging operasyon.

Dumako naman po tayo sa pondo ng NFA.

Noong 2004: 117,000 metric tons ang pagkukulang ng supply ng Pilipinas. Ang binili nila, 900,000 metric tons. Kahit ulitin mo pa ng mahigit pitong beses ang pagkukulang, sobra pa rin ang binili nila.

Noong 2007: 589,000 metric tons ang pagkukulang ng supply sa Pilipinas. Ang binili nila, 1.827 million metric tons. Kahit ulitin mo pa ng mahigit tatlong beses ang pagkukulang, sobra na naman ang binili nila.

Ang masakit nito, dahil sobra-sobra ang binibili nila taun-taon, nabubulok lang pala sa mga kamalig ang bigas, kagaya ng nangyari noong 2008.

Hindi po ba krimen ito, na hinahayaan nilang mabulok ang bigas, sa kabila ng apat na milyong Pilipinong hindi kumakain ng tatlong beses sa isang araw?

Ang resulta nito, umabot na sa 171.6 billion pesos ang utang ng NFA noong Mayo ng taong ito.

Ang tinapon na ito, halos puwede na sanang pondohan ang mga sumusunod:

Ang budget ng buong Hudikatura, na 12.7 billion pesos sa taong ito.

Ang Conditional Cash Transfers para sa susunod na taon, na nagkakahalaga ng 29.6 billion pesos.

Ang lahat ng classroom na kailangan ng ating bansa, na nagkakahalaga ng 130 billion pesos.

Kasuklam-suklam ang kalakarang ito. Pera na, naging bato pa.

Narinig po ninyo kung paano nilustay ang kaban ng bayan. Ang malinaw po sa ngayon: ang anumang pagbabago ay magmumula sa pagsiguro natin na magwawakas na ang pagiging maluho at pagwawaldas.

Kaya nga po mula ngayon: ititigil na natin ang paglulustay sa salapi ng bayan.

Tatanggalin natin ang mga proyektong mali.

Ito po ang punto ng tinatawag nating zero-based approach sa ating budget. Ang naging kalakaran po, taun-taon ay inuulit lamang ang budget na puno ng tagas. Dadagdagan lang nang konti, puwede na.

Sa susunod na buwan ay maghahain tayo ng budget na kumikilala nang tama sa mga problema, at magtutuon din ng pansin sa tamang solusyon.

Ilan lang ito sa mga natuklasan nating problema. Heto naman po ang ilang halimbawa ng mga hakbang na ginagawa natin.

Nandiyan po ang kaso ng isang may-ari ng sanglaan. Bumili siya ng sasakyang tinatayang nasa dalawampu't anim na milyong piso ang halaga.

Kung kaya mong bumili ng Lamborghini, bakit hindi mo kayang magbayad ng buwis?

Nasampahan na po ito ng kaso. Sa pangunguna nina Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, BIR Commissioner Kim Henares at Customs Commissioner Lito Alvarez, bawat linggo po ay may bago tayong kasong isinasampa kontra sa mga smuggler at sa mga hindi nagbabayad ng tamang buwis.

Natukoy na rin po ang salarin sa mga kaso nina Francisco Baldomero, Jose Daguio at Miguel Belen, tatlo sa anim na insidente ng extralegal killings mula nang umupo tayo.

Singkuwenta porsyento po ng mga insidente ng extralegal killings na nangyari sa maikling taon ng ating panunungkulan ang patungo na sa kanilang resolusyon.

Ang natitira pong kalahati ay hindi natin tatantanan ang pag-usig hanggang makamit ang katarungan.

Pananagutin natin ang mga mamamatay-tao. Pananagutin din natin ang mga corrupt sa gobyerno.

Nagsimula nang mabuo ang ating Truth Commission, sa pangunguna ni dating Chief Justice Hilario Davide. Hahanapin natin ang katotohanan sa mga nangyari diumanong katiwalian noong nakaraang siyam na taon.

Sa loob ng linggong ito, pipirmahan ko ang kauna-unahang Executive Order na nagtatalaga sa pagbuo nitong Truth Commission.

Kung ang sagot sa kawalan ng katarungan ay pananagutan, ang sagot naman sa kakulangan natin sa pondo ay mga makabago at malikhaing paraan para tugunan ang mga pagkatagal-tagal nang problema.

Napakarami po ng ating pangangailangan: mula sa edukasyon, imprastruktura, pangkalusugan, pangangailangan ng militar at kapulisan, at marami pang iba. Hindi kakasya ang pondo para mapunan ang lahat ng ito.

Kahit gaano po kalaki ang kakulangan para mapunuan ang mga listahan ng ating pangangailangan, ganado pa rin ako dahil marami nang nagpakita ng panibagong interes at kumpyansa sa Pilipinas.

Ito ang magiging solusyon: mga Public-Private Partnerships. Kahit wala pa pong pirmahang nangyayari dito, masasabi kong maganda ang magiging bunga ng maraming usapin (ukol ditto).

May mga nagpakita na po ng interes, gustong magtayo ng expressway na mula Maynila, tatahak ng Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, hanggang sa dulo ng Cagayan Valley nang hindi gugugol ang estado kahit na po piso.

Sa larangan ng ating Sandatahang Lakas:

Mayroon po tayong 36,000 nautical miles na baybayin. Ang mayroon lamang tayo: tatlumpu't dalawang barko. Itong mga barkong ito, panahon pa ni General MacArthur.

May nagmungkahi sa atin, ito ang proposisyon: uupahan po nila ang headquarters ng Navy sa Roxas Boulevard at ang Naval Station sa Fort Bonifacio.

Sagot po nila ang paglipat ng Navy Headquarters sa Camp Aguinaldo. Agaran, bibigyan tayo ng isandaang milyong dolyar. At dagdag pa sa lahat nang iyan, magsusubi pa sila sa atin ng kita mula sa mga negosyong itatayo nila sa uupahan nilang lupa.

Sa madali pong sabi: Makukuha natin ang kailangan natin, hindi tatayo gagastos, kikita pa tayo.

Marami na pong nag-alok at nagmungkahi sa atin, mula lokal hanggang dayuhang negosyante, na magpuno ng iba't ibang pangangailangan.

Mula sa mga public-private partnerships na ito, lalago ang ating ekonomiya, at bawat Pilipino makikinabang. Napakaraming sektor na matutulungan nito.

Maipapatayo na po ang imprastrukturang kailangan natin para palaguin ang turismo.

Sa agrikultura, makapagtatayo na tayo ng mga grains terminals, refrigeration facilities, maayos na road networks at post-harvest facilities.

Kung maisasaayos natin ang ating food supply chain sa tulong ng pribadong sektor, sa halip na mag-angkat tayo ay maari na sana tayong mangarap na mag-supply sa pandaigdigang merkado.

Kung maitatayo ang minumungkahi sa ating mga railway system, bababa ang presyo ng bilihin. Mas mura, mas mabilis, mas maginhawa, at makakaiwas pa sa kotong cops at mga kumokotong na rebelde ang mga bumibiyahe.

Paalala lang po: una sa ating plataporma ang paglikha ng mga trabaho, at nanggagaling ang trabaho sa paglago ng industriya. Lalago lamang ang industriya kung gagawin nating mas malinis, mas mabilis, at mas maginhawa ang proseso para sa mga gustong magnegosyo.

Pabibilisin natin ang proseso ng mga proyektong sumasailalim sa Build-Operate-Transfer. Sa tulong ng lahat ng sangay ng gobyerno at ng mga mamamayan, pabababain natin sa anim na buwan ang proseso na noon ay inaabot ng taon kung hindi dekada.

May mga hakbang na rin pong sinisimulan ang DTI, sa pamumuno ni Secretary Gregory Domingo:

Ang walang-katapusang pabalik-balik sa proseso ng pagrehistro ng pangalan ng kumpanya, na kada dalaw ay umaabot ng apat hanggang walong oras, ibababa na natin sa labinlimang minuto.

Ang dating listahan ng tatlumpu't anim na dokumento, ibababa natin sa anim. Ang dating walong pahinang application form, ibababa natin sa isang pahina.

Nananawagan ako sa ating mga LGUs. Habang naghahanap tayo ng paraan para gawing mas mabilis ang pagbubukas ng mga negosyo, pag-aralan din sana nila ang kanilang mga proseso. Kailangan itong gawing mas mabilis, at kailangan itong itugma sa mga sinisumulan nating reporma.

Negosyante, sundalo, rebelde, at karaniwang Pilipino, lahat po makikinabang dito. Basta po hindi dehado ang Pilipino, papasukin po natin lahat iyan.

Kailangan na po nating simulan ang pagtutulungan para makamit ito. Huwag nating pahirapan ang isa't isa.

Parating na po ang panahon na hindi na natin kailangang mamili sa pagitan ng seguridad ng ating mamamayan o sa kinabukasan ng inyong mga anak.

Oras na maipatupad ang public-private partnerships na ito, mapopondohan ang mga serbisyong panlipunan, alinsunod sa ating plataporma.

Magkakapondo na po para maipatupad ang mga plano natin sa edukasyon.

Mapapalawak natin ang basic education cycle mula sa napakaikling sampung taon tungo sa global standard na labindalawang taon.

Madadagdagan natin ang mga classroom. Mapopondohan natin ang service contracting sa ilalim ng GASTPE.

Pati ang conditional cash transfers, na magbabawas ng pabigat sa bulsa ng mga pamilya, madadagdan na rin ng pondo.

Maipapatupad ang plano natin sa PhilHealth.

Una, tutukuyin natin ang tunay na bilang ng mga nangangailangan nito. Sa ngayon, hindi magkakatugma ang datos. Sabi ng PhilHealth sa isang bibig, walumpu't pitong porsyento na raw ang merong coverage. Sa kabilang bibig naman, singkuwenta'y tres porsyento. Ayon naman sa National Statistics Office, tatlumpu't walong porsyento ang may coverage.

Ngayon pa lang, kumikilos na si Secretary Dinky Soliman at ang DSWD upang ipatupad ang National Household Targetting System, na magtutukoy sa mga pamilyang higit na nagangailangan ng tulong. Tinatayang siyam na bilyon ang kailangan para mabigyan ng PhilHealth ang limang milyong pinakamaralitang pamilyang Pilipino.

Napakaganda po ng hinaharap natin. Kasama na po natin ang pribadong sektor, at kasama na rin natin ang League of Provinces, sa pangunguna nina Governor Alfonso Umali kasama sina Governor L-Ray Villafuerte at Governor Icot Petilla. Handa na pong makipagtulungan para makibahagi sa pagtustos ng mga gastusin. Alam ko rin pong hindi magpapahuli ang League of Cities sa pangunguna ni Mayor Oscar Rodriguez.

Kung ang mga gobyernong lokal ay nakikiramay na sa ating mga adhikain, ang Kongreso namang pinanggalingan ko, siguro naman maasahan ko din.

Nagpakitang-gilas na po ang gabinete sa pagtukoy ng ating mga problema at sa paglulunsad ng mga solusyon sa loob lamang ng tatlong linggo.

Nang bagyo pong Basyang, ang sabi sa atin ng mga may prangkisa sa kuryente, apat na araw na walang kuryente. Dahil sa mabilis na pagkilos ni Secretary Rene Almendras at ng Department of Energy, naibalik ang kuryente sa halos lahat sa loob lamang ng beinte-kwatro oras.

Ito pong sinasabing kakulangan sa tubig sa Metro Manila, kinilusan agad ni Secretary Rogelio Singson at ng DPWH. Hindi na siya naghintay ng utos, kaya nabawasan ang perwisyo.

Nakita na rin natin ang gilas ng mga hinirang nating makatulong sa Gabinete. Makatuwiran naman po sigurong umasa na hindi na sila padadaanin sa butas ng karayom para makumpirma ng Commission on Appointments. Kung mangyayari po ito, marami pa sa mga mahuhusay na Pilipino ang maeengganyong magsilbi sa gobyerno.

Sa lalong madaling panahon po, uupo na tayo sa LEDAC at pag-uusapan ang mga mahahalagang batas na kailangan nating ipasa. Makakaasa kayo na mananatiling bukas ang aking isipan, at ang ating ugnayan ay mananatiling tapat.

Isinusulong po natin ang Fiscal Responsibility Bill, kung saan hindi tayo magpapasa ng batas na mangangailangan ng pondo kung hindi pa natukoy ang panggagalingan nito. May 104.1 billion pesos tayong kailangan para pondohan ang mga batas na naipasa na, ngunit hindi maipatupad.

Kailangan din nating isaayos ang mga insentibong piskal na ibinigay noong nakaraan. Ngayong naghihigpit tayo ng sinturon, kailangang balikan kung alin sa mga ito ang dapat manatili at kung ano ang dapat nang itigil.

Huwag po tayong pumayag na magkaroon ng isa pang NBN-ZTE. Sa lokal man o dayuhan manggagaling ang pondo, dapat dumaan ito sa tamang proseso. Hinihingi ko po ang tulong ninyo upang amiyendahan ang ating Procurement Law.

Ayon po sa Saligang Batas, tungkulin ng estado ang siguruhing walang lamangan sa merkado. Bawal ang monopolya, bawal ang mga cartel na sasakal sa kumpetisyon. Kailangan po natin ng isang Anti-Trust Law na magbibigay-buhay sa mga prinsipyong ito. Ito ang magbibigay ng pagkakataon sa mga Small- at Medium-scale Enterprises na makilahok at tumulong sa paglago ng ating ekonomiya.

Ipasa na po natin ang National Land Use Bill.

Una rin pong naging batas ng Commonwealth ang National Defense Act, na ipinasa noon pang 1935. Kailangan nang palitan ito ng batas na tutugon sa pangangailangan ng pambansang seguridad sa kasalukuyan.

Nakikiusap po akong isulong ang Whistleblower's Bill upang patuloy nang iwaksi ang kultura ng takot at pananahimik.

Palalakasin pa lalo ang Witness Protection Program. Alalahanin po natin na noong taong 2009 hanggang 2010, may nahatulan sa 95% ng mga kaso kung saan may witness na sumailalim sa programang ito.
Kailangang repasuhin ang ating mga batas. Nanawagan po akong umpisahan na ang rekodipikasyon ng ating mga batas, upang siguruhing magkakatugma sila at hindi salu-salungat.

Ito pong mga batas na ito ang batayan ng kaayusan, ngunit ang pundasyon ng lahat ng ginagawa natin ay ang prinsipyong wala tayong mararating kung walang kapayapaan at katahimikan.

Dalawa ang hinaharap nating suliranin sa usapin ng kapayapaan: ang situwasyon sa Mindanao, at ang patuloy na pag-aaklas ng CPP-NPA-NDF.

Tungkol sa situwasyon sa Mindanao: Hindi po nagbabago ang ating pananaw. Mararating lamang ang kapayapaan at katahimikan kung mag-uusap ang lahat ng apektado: Moro, Lumad, at Kristiyano. Inatasan na natin si Dean Marvic Leonen na mangasiwa sa ginagawa nating pakikipag-usap sa MILF.

Iiwasan natin ang mga pagkakamaling nangyari sa nakaraang administrasyon, kung saan binulaga na lang ang mga mamamayan ng Mindanao. Hindi tayo puwedeng magbulag-bulagan sa mga dudang may kulay ng pulitika ang proseso, at hindi ang kapakanan ng taumbayan ang tanging interes.

Kinikilala natin ang mga hakbang na ginagawa ng MILF sa pamamagitan ng pagdidisplina sa kanilang hanay. Inaasahan natin na muling magsisimula ang negosasyon pagkatapos ng Ramadan.

Tungkol naman po sa CPP-NPA-NDF: handa na ba kayong maglaan ng kongkretong mungkahi, sa halip na pawang batikos lamang?

Kung kapayapaan din ang hangad ninyo, handa po kami sa malawakang tigil-putukan. Kayo po ba ay handa na din? Mag-usap tayo.

Mahirap magsimula ang usapan habang mayroon pang amoy ng pulbura sa hangin. Nananawagan ako: huwag po natin hayaang masayang ang napakagandang pagkakataong ito upang magtipon sa ilalim ng iisang adhikain.

Kapayapaan at katahimikan po ang pundasyon ng kaunlaran. Habang nagpapatuloy ang barilan, patuloy din ang pagkakagapos natin sa kahirapan.

Dapat din po nating mabatid: ito ay panahon ng sakripisyo. At ang sakripisyong ito ay magiging puhunan para sa ating kinabukasan. Kaakibat ng ating mga karapatan at kalayaan ay ang tungkulin natin sa kapwa at sa bayan.

Inaasahan ko po ang ating mga kaibigan sa media, lalo na sa radyo at sa print, sa mga nagbablock-time, at sa community newspapers, kayo na po mismo ang magbantay sa inyong hanay.

Mabigyang-buhay sana ang mga batayang prinsipyo ng inyong bokasyon: ang magbigay-linaw sa mahahalagang isyu; ang maging patas at makatotohanan, at ang itaas ang antas ng pampublikong diskurso.

Tungkulin po ng bawat Pilipino na tutukan ang mga pinunong tayo rin naman ang nagluklok sa puwesto. Humakbang mula sa pakikialam tungo sa pakikilahok. Dahil ang nakikialam, walang-hanggan ang reklamo.

Ang nakikilahok, nakikibahagi sa solusyon.

Napakatagal na pong namamayani ang pananaw na ang susi sa asenso ay ang intindihin ang sarili kaysa intindihin ang kapwa. Malinaw po sa akin: paano tayo aasenso habang nilalamangan ang kapwa?

Ang hindi nabigyan ng pagkakataong mag-aral, paanong makakakuha ng trabaho? Kung walang trabaho, paanong magiging konsumer? Paanong mag-iimpok sa bangko?

Ngunit kung babaliktarin natin ang pananaw-kung iisipin nating "Dadagdagan ko ang kakayahan ng aking kapwa"-magbubunga po ito, at ang lahat ay magkakaroon ng pagkakataon.

Maganda na po ang nasimulan natin. At mas lalong maganda po ang mararating natin. Ngunit huwag nating kalimutan na mayroong mga nagnanasang hindi tayo magtagumpay. Dahil kapag hindi tayo
nagtagumpay, makakabalik na naman sila sa kapangyarihan, at sa pagsasamantala sa taumbayan.

Akin pong paniwala na Diyos at taumbayan ang nagdala sa ating kinalalagyan ngayon. Habang nakatutok tayo sa kapakanan ng ating kapwa, bendisyon at patnubay ay tiyak na maaasahan natin sa Poong Maykapal. At kapag nanalig tayo na ang kasangga natin ay ang Diyos, mayroon ba tayong hindi kakayanin?

Ang mandato nating nakuha sa huling eleksyon ay patunay na umaasa pa rin ang Pilipino sa pagbabago. Iba na talaga ang situwasyon. Puwede na muling mangarap. Tayo nang tumungo sa katuparan ng ating mga pinangarap.

I've been wanting to post about this for so long, but I was just too lazy to think of something to say about it. Now that my mind is working pretty well (I guess), I will now be writing about a breed of dog that looks so familiar.

I'm talking about the Jack Russel Terrier, it is a small terrier that has its origins in fox hunting. It is principally white-bodied smooth, rough or broken-coated which is commonly confused with the Parson Russell terrier (the American Kennel Club (AKC) and affiliate variant) and the Russell terrier (a shorter legged, stockier variety) with the term "Jack Russell" commonly misapplied to other small white terriers. The Jack Russell is a broad type, with a size range of 10–15 inches (25–38 cm), the Parson Russell is limited only to a middle range with a standard size of 12–14 inches (30–36 cm), while the Russell terrier is smaller at 8–12 inches (20–30 cm), however each breed has different physical proportions according to the standards of their breed clubs.

Recognition for the breed by kennel clubs has been opposed by the breed's parent societies – which resulted in the breeding and recognition of the Parson Russell terrier. Jack Russells have appeared many times in film, television and print with several historical dogs of note.

If you haven't notice, the Jack Russel Terrier looks a lot like a common stray dog here in the Philippines, commonly known as "ASKAL" and for some "ASPI" which stands for "Asong Pinoy".

Their size, built, fur, and color are all the same with common askals here in the Philippines, so I wonder if our so called Askal is actually a mixed-bred of a Jack Russel Terrier with a different type of breed. Veterinarians actually calls an Askals as "Mongrell" or "Mixed-breed dog".

The sad part - It is really sad that people don't appreciate Askals, they would never end up in the streets if they were. There are a lot of hypocrites who call themselves dog lover, yet they won't even adopt a pitiful stray dog, they actually look at it as disgusting or a shame to have such a breed of dog.

If only - If everyone will look at Askals as a Jack Russel Terrier, I know for sure that everyone will be catching every stray dogs in the streets and carry them in places with head held high, because whenever someone asks them what breed their dog is, they will be able to say proudly that my dog is a Jack Russel Terrier.

So if you own an Askal, and someone asked you what's the breed of your dog, tell them this:

"Well my dog is actually a mongrel from a Jack Russel Terrier ancestry"

Ask a load by SMART

There has been a lot of readers out there asking me how to ask a load on SMART, and so I decided to write a post about it.

SMART offers a service wherein you can share your load credits, and ask for someone to lend you some. This is different from asking for an emergency credits from my previous post.

You can find the informations about the emergency credits here.

The process is easy, that I want to discuss later, because there are certain things that you might wan't to consider before asking a load.

The service is only available once a day, and that would be from 1:00am to 12:00am, therefore you could only send one request a day.
That would be good if the person you asking for credits actually has one, or if he will be able to receive it right after you sent a request.

After asking for a request, your respondent will receive a text message wherein they have to reply "yes" for you to have the credit you are asking for.

But the huge problem is, your respondent never receives the text message notification on time. Usually it takes two to three hours, and the worst is it will take a day before they receive your request.

Upon replying to the request, a six pesos credit will be charged to your respondent, and you will be receiving a five pesos credit.

Time to discuss the process on how to ask a load on SMART and how to share a load on SMART.

To share a load, all you have to do is send a text message in the following format:

11 digit number(space)amount and send to 808

To ask a load, all you have to do is dial the following numbers:

*808+ 11 digit number

Empires & Allies: Tips and Guides

Its been a month since ZYNGA releases their newest addition to their most loved social networking games.

For those who doesn't know, Empires & Allies is Zynga's first combat and strategy game. The game, the first release by Zynga's Los Angeles studio, launched in twelve languages on June 1, 2011. The game is a freemium game, meaning there is no cost to play but players have the option of purchasing premium content.

This guide is for any type of gamer, wether your someone who spends more time playing games than having some good moments with your family or someone who just casually play games.

BASICS
If you have played other ZYNGA games (I'm sure you did) then the basic stuff is just the same. Following the starter quests will help you start up your Empire pretty well and I have no more to discuss about the basics, as long as you follow all the starter quests.

FARMING
I decided to talk about this first, because its the most important thing that you should definitely give importance to.

Farms lets you earn money, and its the best source of income until you grow stronger. Meaning, the more farms you have the better. It will definitely help you when it comes to your expansions.

LUMBER MILL
Lumber mills is one of the less you should invest on, not to the point that you don't have one. Wood is only used on creating buildings and houses, and you doesn't always have to create one.

OIL WELL
One of the most important thing that one empire must have, but don't exagerate having so much of it, because you're going to regret it once you opened higher level of Oil Wells, so if you're still using the basic Oil Well I advise to not to create too much of it, because sooner or later you'll have to sell it, and its not even half the price of when you bought it.

ORE MINE
Ore Mines only lets you have one kind of ore, therefore if you will be needing a different ore, you have to buy it from others or you can ask for it.
Its the same as the Lumber Mill, so don't give too much importance on it, but it is actually a good source of income, but I don't think the energy you spent on harvesting it is worth it.

NEUTRALITY
We finally came to the most important part, Neutrality.

Since Emires & Allies is a combat and strategy game, there's no helping invading other players and being invaded. But this kind of act will only lead to hate amongst friends.

Being neutral is the best way to save yourself getting invaded but still being able to invade others without them getting mad at you.

The trick is whenever your Empire is not neutral do all the invasion that you have to do, because there are actually quests that requires you to invade other players. When you're done with all your invasion, declare neutrality on your World Embassy, that way you will withraw from all your invasion, but your Infamy points remains the same, and the fact that you owned your friends without them getting back at you is AWESOME!!

But ofcourse you always have to watch your back!

EXPANSION
Expanding your empire is not as easy as expanding your city on Cityville, because E&A is such a strategy game that even expansion needs a good strategy to have a better empire.

You get to own five(5) islands, but the strategy is on which should go first, the tip here is to never expand one island fully, instead reach for the next island, that way you get to have more land area and a decent amount of water area but with less wasted areas wherein you couldn't even place anything on it except some decorations or just let trees and stones pop out on it.

The reason why you need more lands than water areas is pretty obvious, all units is placed on land except for ships ofcourse. In that manner, you definitely expand on land areas other than the water part.

GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
A lot of players actually ignores Government Buildings whenever they visit a neighbor. It is actually a waste not tending to a Government Building that you have a position on, because it gives decent amount of money rather than clicking on farms and houses.

Adding members for your Government Buildings, make sure that the players you will be selecting are avid gamers and don't just add anyone, because in time they will realize that its a huge waste not tending to Government Buildings.

UPGRADES
This is a new addition to E&A and it really helps a lot. A tip on how you should upgrade your armies is actually needs more strategy than you think of.

Most players upgrade damage first because its actually the first one that they could click, but its so wrong for someone who plays strategically.

The first one that you might want to do is to reduce the time an army is created, on that way, you get to attack while all of them is still waiting for their army to finish.

Art of Defending
Most invaders actually invades the one that gets them the most money, and that would be none other than Government Buildings.

The proper way of defending is not just putting your strongest army, for alost all players, they defend their Government Buildings by tanks, because it has huge amount of life and a decent damage, but the fact that it has its weakness and its artillery armies, all their damage will be put to waste, and artillery has a bonus against tanks.

So the best way to defend is a variety of armies, don't just cover it with tanks, add some soldiers and artilleries.

Unworthy of Love and Loyalty

An unbearable sight - It was already past 2pm yesterday and I was already on my way home. I was supposed to take the train from Santolan Station to North Avenue Station, but then decided to just take the bus instead.

Everything was going smoothly, just as how it used to be. Moderate to heavy traffic is always expected when passing through EDSA. Yes, everything is ok.

While on the Bus, I was just staring outside the window, and then there she is staying calmly at the Emergency Bay.

A dog was staying at the emergency bay along EDSA, I don't know the exact name of the area, but from what I remembered, I just passed Camp Crame and the next landmark I remembered is Samson College Cubao.

Even though I just passed by the emergency bay for just a minute or even less, I can clearly see that there is noone there that could possibly own the dog.

Still waiting - By just staring at her I can clearly see the inocence of her eyes, that it was still waiting, still hoping that her owner will comeback for her. She was already skinny probbably because of hunger, but she still manages to stand and look around wondering when or from where will she be seeing her owner again. :(

The worst happened - After passing by the emergency bay, the rain just started pouring heavily that it made me wanna jump out of the bus, and get back to the poor dog to help her get a better place to stay. If only I could. :(

I'm not a good owner myself, but I know to myself that i would never abandon a family.

I don't know what could she possibly done to receive such punishment, but its still too much!

Bad owners are definitely not worthy of love and loyalty of a dog.

Very funny yet stupid commercial for an ice cream

I wanted to post about this for a long time, but just haven't had the chance to do so.

Now that I have enough time *I guess to post about it, I will now share my thoughts about a certain commercial that has been going on for months now.

Its the Selecta Cornetto Choco Java commercial about buying a sweater. Its actually funny, I mean real hell funny, but It wasn't conceptualized right.

I don't have anything against the one who thought about the commercial, but if they were selling a different product, I think that will actually make it perfect.

The commercial goes this way, A guy wanted to buy a sweater on a store having only 20 pesos, of course its not enough to buy one, so the store owner, which happens to be a goon like bug guy, gust gave the guy a hug and asked if he wanted a short-sleeve, a long-sleeve, or a hoodie.

It was so funny, because of the fully-beard big guy giving a hug, and it was so gay! *No disrespect intended for homosexuals

The stupid part was, A guy buying a sweater because he wanted to get himself warmed, and you will offer him ice cream? What?!!!

If they were selling some hot coffee or an instant noodles perhaps, that commercial would've been perfect.

But hell, the commercial was funny, just don't think of the reality and enjoy the commercial on a cold day while having an ice cream!

No need to wait for doomsday

It was one fine afternoon when I decided to check my facebook for something new, and when I was on it, I noticed that everyone was talking about doomsday happening on the 21st of May in the present year. I was like "WTF? No way?!", so I started asking my friends and colleagues about this insane news. I thought I have to wait for the year 2012 before doomsday.

My friend told me about a guy named Harold Camping predicting doomsday on the said date, and he said that this guy cracked the secrets on the Bible to know the exact date.

Curiosity sends me searching for this guy, and found out some stuff that really made me think if this guy is for real.

Harold Egbert Camping - (born July 19, 1921) is an American Christian radio broadcaster. He is president of Family Radio, a California-based radio station that spans more than 150 markets in the United States.
Camping's trademarks include his deep, sonorous voice coupled with a slow cadence. He is notable for twice having used Bible-based numerology to predict dates for the Rapture, dates which passed without incident in each case. The most recent was his 2011 end times prediction; he calculated that the Rapture would occur on May 21, 2011, and that God would subsequently completely destroy the Earth and the universe five months later on October 21. He had previously predicted that the Rapture would occur in September 1994.

WTF? - So it wasn't the first time he predicted the doomsday. Well nobody's perfect, why not give him a second shot, right?

Doomsday - Its the 21st of May, The news said that it will occur exactly 6:00PM, and so I waited. I was so bored waiting for it that I fell asleep. I woke up 9:00PM, and hey! I'm still alive! *LOL
It was just an ordinary day, no rapture or stuff that will come falling from the sky and destroy mankind, it was just an old man predicting his own doomsday.

I don't actually know what the old guy is on, maybe some hallucinogen or some stuff, but failing to predict doomsday the second time around is actually the same as dooming yourself. If it was me, I don't think I will still have the guts to show myself in public and give them more lame reasons why I failed AGAIN.

I've read some stuff over the internet, and they said that this guy was actually making huge money from it! Wow! Now I will definitely predict doomsday everyday!

What I believe - I know this may not sound good to others, but what the Bible said that the end of the world is not knowable, I don't believe it. With the technology that we have now, I think doomsday can actually be predicted.

The Mayan Prophecy - This one seems to be real, I don't actually believe it a 100% but there are actually scientific basis to support this prediction, and it was actually interesting that some other predictions from different countries actually coincides with it.

Still hoping for a Zombie Apocalypse - I don't know about you, but I'm really a fan of zombie films and stuff about zombies, so I'm still hoping for a zombie apocalypse. I'm actually planning to create a post about how to survive it, but I'm still gathering informations on how to actually survive it.

Hey there spider! This is your boy ROJ, and I'm going to share with you someone who is so awesome, that he will definitely make you proud of your Filipino accent!

This was also shared to me by my colleague, and believe it or not, just right after watching the video I became a fan of the guy. I'm talking about none other than Michael John Yadan Tumanguil Pestano Bustos also known as Mikey Bustos.

Mikey Bustos (born June 23, 1981) is a Filipino-Canadian singer who appeared on the reality television show Canadian Idol. He was known for his signature blue contact lenses.*I'm not sure if this line makes sense

He placed seventh runner-up in the finals of Canadian Idol Season One in August 2003, despite Chart magazine's prediction: "If we were to lay our bets today, ChartAttack’s money would be on Toronto contestant Mikey Bustos, a slightly strange looking young man with a shaved head and the voice of an angel." Like Mikey, I also have the Filipino accent and decided not to use it since I was on my high school days, not because I'm not proud of it or I want to intimidate those who can't adapt the American accent, I just learned to speak it without noticing it because of me always mimicking lines from western movies, and also singing songs from western artists.

Now that almost every person you will be meeting on a mall is a call center agent, you would always hear them speaking in English with their American accent, and to some with their British accent. I never used my western accent whenever I don't have to, I would always use Tagalog/Filipino or if needed, I will just stick to my Filipino accent.

There are actually a lot of Filipinos who uses their new found accent to intimidate people. I think they thought that bragging your accent can make you look cool or rich, nah! I don't think so! Manny Pacquiao is hell cool and stinking rich! and yet he speaks a hardcore Filipino accent, make sense right?

Work Hard, Play Harder!

Hello there! After almost two months of not posting anything on my blog due to me having some rough times that I don't think anyone of you even cared about. *seriously

Now that GOD has lifted off the misery that I was having, I'm now free of any debts or some issues regarding money money money. I am currently employed on a company that gives not that bad salary, really! not that bad at all. *I wish

I wasn't allowed to name the company due to the contract i signed. It says there that I'm not supposed to use the name of the company, or share any information about it on any way, of course that includes social networking, and blogging.

Given above. lets just put it this way, I'm currently working for a company that owns games, and its insanely popular! Hell yeah! You now have an idea why i titled this post as such.

Let us now know if what you had in mind is correct. So how do I actually spend my eight hour shift? Well I just play games! That's it! and some jobs that will normally take less than two hours to finish, and in the case of one of my colleague, only forty-five minutes. *If you will have the chance to read this and I know you do, You know who you are! LOL

At first, I can't actually believe that there is a company that will be paying me for just playing. Its actually insane, specially if you compare it to some other jobs that put so much stress to an employee, and yet I'm earning just the same, or even higher. *coughs

Who ever said Facebook games addiction can't be cured? - Being on a company that pays me to play for my whole shift, it actually cured my addiction to these games, I slowly gotten tired of playing these games, but what the hell, I don't have anything to do, so why not just play.

That surely gives you an idea of where I'm working or to whom I work for. Well I never said any company names right? LOL

I think that's just about it, I will be sharing more of my adventures if I still have time to blog, 'cause my job is sooooo tiring. *wink

In DESPERATE need of money!

Yes, you read it right. I’m currently in big, no, in huge need of money right now.

But instead of putting some stupid ads on my blog that I know would irritate most of my readers, I’d rather put a PayPal Donate button on my page, and let God’s mercy and my generous reader’s heart provide me with some money that will be a great help for the financial situation I’m currently having.

I’m not paying anything for this blog to be up and running, but like every one of us, we have bills to pay on our daily life.

I could live my life having no electricity at home, or even having no water supply at home, but having nothing to eat is too much. Specially my pets! I could last for a day or even a week having nothing to eat, but seeing my pets having nothing to eat is really tearing my heart out into million pieces.

I could still continue blogging, thanks to some shops that offers free wifi, and all you need is a huge gut to go there and stay there without even buying anything. LOL *SERIOUSLY

Every dollar counts - I’m not asking for any certain amount, I just need any amount that you could provide me, for me to be able to continue living a quite happy life, and be able to share more that could interests my readers.

I know I don’t deserve any donations from you guys, unlike those people from Japan. But even if, I still hope someone out there would have a very generous heart that will be able to donate even a dollar.

Get a job! - I do have a job before, but certain things do happen to some corporate slave that has been striving hard to earn money.

I currently signed a contract with a company, but I will be starting my work on May, and I still don’t know where to get my daily fare to get there.

One meal a day – Since I don’t even have any money left, good thing I still have a bag of oatmeal at home that I could still eat and manage to make it last for a month, hopefully.

Epic VFX for a TV commercial

TV commercials her e in Philippines is starting to level up when it comes to killer visual effects.

As someone who is just starting to study visual effects on my own, I definitely admire those short films that have awesome visual effects.
A typical commercial here in Philippines does not show too much VFX, but lately, new commercials are starting to come out with awesome VFX, some of these are the following.

COBRA ENERGY DRINK

An awesome VFX was brought to us by Cobra Energy Drink. The commercial shows a cloud storm starting to surround the city, it shows sky scrapers being covered with cloud storm, then three guys went on the middle of the city to punch the ground and causes the cloud storm to be pushed back by some kind of FTW pressure.

STING ENERGY DRINK

Another energy drink brought us an awesome VFX on a TV commercial. The commercial shows two guys in some biohazard suit delivering the said product on a convenient store. (I guess?) Then came Derek Ramsey to get a drink, and as a tradition of Sting Energy Drink commercial, he smashed the bottle into the table and that causes some awesome destruction VFX to the city.

I know there’ll be more awesome commercials to come, or there are some more commercials that I haven’t watched yet.
I’m looking forward for more VFX advancements on Philippine commercials, and hopefully I can also make some awesome VFX short films myself.

My Ragnarok Valkyrie Adventures Pt.1

Just started my new online gaming adventures on an online game that has been played by thousands or probably millions of gamers all over the world.

After quitting from my previous online game, which is ZX Online or widely known as Jade Dynasty, because of E-Games not continuing the game due to reasons they never told us. It sucks!

I stopped playing online games for a long time now, and I don't actually know what gotten in to me that I decided to play Ragnarok Online out of all the latest online game we currently have now.

I'm currently playing an Archer class named 'ROJ', if there are anyone there who can help me out, please do send me a personal message whenever I'm online.

I don't actually know anything about Ragnarok or the game interface itself, I'm still on the learning process on how to properly navigate the game. Maps are extremely huge!

I will be posting stuff and updates on my game, and probably stats and skills I've been adding to my character and maybe some guides if I can do so.

Kuya Jobert on a noontime show

ABS-CBN has just revealed their latest noontime show that will be replacing the failed noontime show 'Pilipinas win na win'.

After resigning from Wowowee, Willie's career is still on its peak at TV5 where he hosts 'Willing Willie' even bringing all his sponsors from ABS-CBN to TV5.

'Wowowee' was then replaced by 'Pilipinas win na win' hosted by Kris Aquino and some old folks that unfortunately didn't even match the replaced noontime show.

Just to clarify stuff, I'm not a fan of Willie Revillame, I don't even like the guy!

Now ABS-CBN introduces a new noontime show that will make you think if its another rubbish noontime show.

But wait! Don't give it bad impressions yet, because someone awesome is a part of this show!

Kuya Jobert
The one and only Youtube heartthrob is now making your afternoon happy yipee yehey!

Being known for his funny videos on Youtube, his career sky rocketed when he went on mainstream. Starting as a Radio Jock at 93.9 iFM with his show titled "itanong Mo Kay Kuya Jobert." The show was well loved because of his funny advise to his listeners. Next is being one of the hosts of the show "Usapang Lalake" at Studio 23. Kuya Jobert is also part of the show "Banana Split" from ABS-CBN.

Now he is going beyond what he is used to doing. Together with Randy Santiago, John Estrada, Mariel Rodriguez, Toni Gonzaga, Bentong, Bianca Manalo, and Melai Cantiveros. The show will hopefully match the longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
