Many people get confused by the term marketing. To clear a common misconception up, marketing is not a synonym for sales. Sales is the process of selling a product or service, while marketing is the process of creating customers and keeping current customers. Sales is part of marketing, but it's not the bulk of it. Marketing covers a lot of things, advertising, promotions, publicity, public relations, customer service, and more. Surprisingly, many businesses don't think of marketing as an important process, but it is the most important part of running a business. After all, without customers, a business doesn't get money, and therefore goes bankrupt.

The whole universe moves in a repetitive rhythm. The tides, the seasons, day and night – we can count on these regular patterns to stay constant. If anything moves forward, something else must move backward; if anything grows greater, something else shrinks. Every action causes a reaction, and results in a rhythmic swinging of vibration. You see this law at work every day in the peak and decline of your energy, the ups and downs that you experience, the way that our days are sometimes full and busy and sometimes slow and lazy. It’s helpful to realize that our moods have a natural rhythm of ups and downs, and that even in the midst of a relatively down mood, we’ve still got control of our thoughts. Choosing good thoughts, even when we feel down, propels us into a positive vibration, evening out our emotions and keeping us moving toward our goals.

The whole point of setting a goal is to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. If you set goals and work toward them diligently, you can have all the things you want. People who set and achieve their goals are people who’ve decided what they want, committed themselves to going after it, and haven’t let anything stand in their way – short of violating the rights of others.

A proper goal gives you all the incentive you need to grow in your awareness of being a perfect expression of an Infinite power, designed for excellence and abundance. As you become more welcoming and aware of your relationship with God, and of all the potential that’s been built into you, you’ll function more effectively in harmony with the laws of the universe. Living in synch with all of this will yield results you’ve never dreamed possible.

Building a successful network marketing business is not about selling. It’s about building relationships and focusing on other people. Helping others get what they want, not selling them your product or selling them on joining your business. Focus on the other person. Find out what they want to accomplish in their life then help them get what they want, that’s how you find success. Don’t sell. Network marketing business success needs to be win/win not sell/sell.
