Half Marathon coming up for another year February 2012 has over 9000 runners attend and also is recognized for raising money for many local charities. This event includes a tech shirt and a finishers cap at the finish line, in addition to the large finisher medal that resembles a large heavy hood ornament.&nbsp; The full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier.<br /> <br /> The Half Marathon course in Birmingham, Alabama has some flat stretches, as well as some rollers, passes through the Universtiy of Alabama Birmingham Campus, finishing
