Este cosplay fue estrenado en el Asian Music Fest el 14 de Abril del 2013.

Desde que jugué Catherine supe que haría un cosplay de este personaje ya que me encanto el concepto.

Decidí hacer la versión maid del personaje para este evento, próximamente haré un photoshoot con la versión original ;)

Los dejo con fotos del evento, concurso de cosplay y un mini photoshoot con mi cosplay.

This cosplay was used for the first time during the Asian Music Fest on April 14, 2013.

Since i played the game i knew i would cosplay Catherine because i loved the concept.

I decided to cosplay as her maid version for this event, soon i will do a photoshoot with for the original version.

I will leave you with pictures of the event, cosplay contest and a mini photoshoot i had.

Nota de construcción: la peluca para fue hecha utilizando 2 capas de extensiones con un alambre en el medio para que conservaran la forma. Se utilizo goma blanca diluida con agua para lograr que se pegaran juntas. Luego de terminar cada cola fue cosida a la peluca.

Construction note: the hair style was made using 2 layers of hair extensions with a wire in the middle to maintain the shape. I used a mix of glue and water to stick them together, after they were ready i sewed them onto the wig.

Nota de construcción: los cuernos de Vincent fueron creados utilizando una base de expanding foam cubierta con masking tape y luego recubierta con papel maché.

Construction note: Vincent´s horns were made using an expanding foam base coated with masking tape and then covered with paper maché.

El día Jpop fue el primer evento del año y fue realizado por la embajada de Japón.

Poder llegar al evento con los cosplays terminados fue un verdadero logro ya que tuve que hacer 2 cosplays en esta ocasión.

Para este evento, mi novio y yo decidimos ir de Kenshin y Kaoru de Rurouni Kenshin, fue un trabajo bastante arduo pero me alegra demasiado poder haberlos terminado a tiempo.

Tuvimos mucha suerte de habernos encontrado con excelentes fotógrafos en el evento :)

The Jpop day was the first event of the year and it was organized by the Japanese embassy.

Being able to get to the event with the cosplays completely done was a real accomplishment, since i had to make 2 cosplays this time.

My boyfriend and I went as Kenshin and Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin, it was hard work but i'm really glad i was able to get them done in time.

We were also really lucky to run into great photographers in this event.

Hace poco se llevo a cabo el primer evento Lolita del año, el cual consistió en una cena/reunión en el restaurante Matsuei.

Fue muy bonito poder compartir junto a las demás chicas, todas vestidas con su outfit Lolita de preferencia :3

Fue el primer evento Lolita al que he asistido en Panamá y realmente espero que sigamos haciendo más!

A little while ago we had our first Lolita event of the year, it consisted of a get together/dinner in the restaurant Matsuei.

It was very nice to hang out with the girls, all dressed with their Lolita outfit of choice.

Interactiva 2012 Día 2

Hola a todos! aquí está el post sobre el día 2 de Interactiva 2012, más que nada son fotos ya que este día era más tranquilo. No me dio chance de terminar el otro cosplay que tenia planeado ya que el de Shepard consumió mi tiempo/vida. Tendré que utilizarlo para otra ocasión :3

Fui con ropa cómoda, una de mis pelucas nuevas y mis orejitas de gatito.

Este día la pase dando vueltas por el evento y tomándome fotos con otros cosplayers.

También tuve la oportunidad de hacerle el makeup a Rolando que fue del Joker, quedo muy cool!

Hello everyone! here is the post regarding the second day of Interactiva 2012, its mostly pictures since it was more of a relaxing day. I didn't have a chance to finish my other cosplay since Shepard consumed all my time/life. I will have to use it some other time :3

I went with comfortable clothes, one of my new wigs and my kitty ears.

On this day i hung out and took pictures with other cosplayers.

I also had the opportunity to do makeup for my friend Rolando who went as the Joker, it ended up looking really cool!

Interactiva 2012 Día 1

Finalmente termine de editar las fotos!.. Interactiva 2012 se llevo a cabo a finales de Septiembre, es el evento más grande de Panamá y está enfocado en los videojuegos.

Decidí (un poco tarde) hacer un cosplay que había querido hacer desde hace 3 años. Mass Effect se convirtió en uno de mis juegos favoritos desde el primer día que lo jugué, así que para este evento me animé a hacer a la tan awesome Commander Shepard.

No tenia idea de lo difícil que seria este cosplay !!! (sin contar el lió de conseguir los materiales). Pero logré terminarlo gracias a la ayuda de mi familia y amigos. Estoy muy orgullosa de haberlo terminado a tiempo para el evento, sin embargo hay muchas cosas que mejorarle y creo que lo volveré a hacer desde 0 D: . Para este evento también me animé a hacer una presentación, algo que no había hecho desde hace muchos años y la verdad estoy feliz que lo hice, aunque no es lo que más me gusta (para los que no saben, yo sufro de pánico escénico xD) Pero bueno, lo hice por que le tengo un amor muy grande al personaje.

I finally finished editing all the pictures!.. Interactiva 2012 was held during the last weekend of September, it is the biggest event we have in Panama and it is focused on video games . I decided (a little late) to make a cosplay i had been wanting to do for over 3 years. Mass Effect became one of my favorite games since the first day i played it, so for this event i decided to cosplay as the awesome Commander Shepard. I had no idea how hard this cosplay would be!! (not counting how hard it was to get the materials). But i managed to finish it thanks to my family and friends. I am very proud that i finished it on time for the event, however there are many things that need to be fixed and i think i'll be remaking it.

For this event i also decided to do a skit, something i hadn't done in a while, but i'm happy i did, even though its not my favorite part (for those of you who don't know, i don't enjoy being onstage) But oh well, i did it because i love this character so much.

A principios de Agosto se llevo a cabo el evento Gackt Party, es un evento que se hace todos los años y he visto como ha crecido y mejorado (felicidades chicos!). Para este evento fui invitada a ser parte del jurado del concurso de cosplay, cosa que me alegro mucho :)

Para este evento decidí llevar un cosplay sencillo pero más sexy de los que usualmente hago. Hace rato quería hacer este personaje ya que desde niña siempre me gusto.

Conocí a Zatanna viendo la seria animada de Batman, sin embargo la versión que utilice fue la de DC Online, primero porque el outfit me gustaba más y segundo porque el juego me encanta.

Hubieron muchos buenos cosplays en este evento, cabe destacar que mis favoritos fueron los de Princess Mononoke ;)

During the first days of August i went to the event Gackt Party, it is an event that has been done every year and i have seen how it has grown and gotten better (congratulations guys!). In this event i was invited to be a part of the judges panel for the cosplay contest, which made me really happy :)

For this event i decided to have a simple yet sexier cosplay than the ones i usually do.

I have been wanting to cosplay this character for a while since i´ve liked her since i was a child.

I met Zatanna watching the Batman animated series, however the version i did was the one from DC Online; first,because i like the outfit way better and second, because i really love the game.

There were a lot of good cosplays in this event, my favorites were the ones from Princess Mononoke.

Hola! tiempo sin hacer updates, ando enredada con el trabajo...pero bueno aquí esta el post sobre el evento Bakkufest 2012. Este ha sido uno de los eventos más entretenidos del año. Me encanto la temática ya que el evento era sobre Pokémon. Este evento también contó con uno de los grupales más grandes hecho en Panamá,el grupal de "Pokemon Gijinkas" (Pokemones Humanizados). Fue muy entretenido ver como cada persona adapto y diseño su cosplay sin dejar atrás la esencia de su Pokémon.

Para este evento decidí ir de la oficial Jenny ya que era un cosplay que Paola y yo teníamos planeado hacer hace tiempo,ella fue de la enfermera Joy.

Me encanto hacer este cosplay ya que es una serie con la que crecí y la cual me gustaba mucho :3

Hello! it´s been a while since i´ve made any updates, i have been busy with work..but here is a post about the event Bakkufest 2012. This has been one of the most entertaining events of the year. I really like the theme since it was about Pokemon. This event also had the biggest group cosplay in Panama,"Pokemon Gijinkas" (Humanized Pokemon). It was really interesting looking at how each person adapted and designed their cosplay without leaving behind the essence of their Pokemon. For this event i decided to go as Officer Jenny since it was a cosplay that Paola and me wanted to do a long time ago, she went as nurse Joy.
I loved doing this cosplay because it was from a series i grew up with and which i liked a lot :3

Durante el mes de Abril me encontraba en Estados Unidos y pude ir a una convención en Nashville,Tennessee. Extrañaba poder ir a una convención grande!, la pase excelente, tome muchas fotos, vi muchos cosplays, comí mucho pocky y tome mucho Ramune de fresa xD Mi "cosplay" para el primer día fue de NaNa Osaki, la verdad no estaba ni completo, lo hice con mi propia ropa ya que tenemos el mismo estilo. La verdad no fui con cosplay preparado para este evento pero eso no evito que me divirtiera ;)

During the month of April I was in the States and was able to go to a convention in Nashville, Tennessee. I missed being able to go to big cons! I had a blast, took a lot of pictures, saw a lot of cosplays, ate a lot of pocky and drank a lot of strawberry Ramune.

My "cosplay" for the first day was NaNa Osaki, but it wasn't even complete, I made it out of my own clothes, since we have the same style. The truth is I didn't go prepared with a cosplay for that event, but that didn't stop me from having a great time :)

Isabella es mi personaje de nuestro grupo Steampunk Panama y es una de los varios tripulantes del H.M.S Cthulu the Overlord. Ella es una espía que alternaba como cabaretera y no se sabe mucho de su pasado. Es una persona en la que no se puede confiar. La historia de ella todavía la estoy desarrollando al igual que las características de su personalidad. En términos de vestuario va a ser una mezcla sensual y excéntrica.A continuación pueden ver fotos de una sesión privada luego de la sesión en grupo del post anterior.

Isabella is my character from our Steampunk Panama group and is one of the many crew members of the H.M.S Cthulu the Overlord.She is a spy who alternated as a cabaret dancer and her past still remains a mystery. She is not to be trusted. I am still developing her story and the characteristics of her personality. In terms of style she will be a mix of sensuality and eccentricity.Coming up you will be able to see pictures of the private shoot i had after our group shoot from the last post.

Steampunk Photoshoot!

El Domingo 29 de Enero se llevo a cabo la primera sesión de fotos del

grupo Steampunk Panama

Las fotos fueron tomadas en el Casco Viejo ya que era el mejor lugar para esto.

Fue muy divertido y me encantaron todos los outfits!

On Sunday January 29 the first photoshoot for our Panamanian Steampunk group was realized. The pictures were taken in el Casco Viejo since it was the best place to take them.

It was lots of fun and i loved all the outfits!

Murder Mystery

El Lunes 26 participe en un Murder Mystery, para aquellos que no saben lo que es, es un juego interactivo en donde hay un homicidio y todos deben resolverlo. Este juego estaba basado en el popular juego "Clue". Me toco encarnar a mi personaje favorito, también conocido como la ficha roja aka Scarlet.

This past Monday 26 i participated in a Murder Mystery, for those of you who don't know what that is, its an interactive game where there is a homicide and everyone has to solve it. This game was based on the popular tabletop game "Clue". I got to play my favorite character, Scarlet.

Siempre ha sido mi personaje favorito de ese juego y siempre juego con ella. Clue es uno de mis juegos favoritos desde que estaba pequeña.

El juego fue muy divertido, lleno de misterios e intrigas. Lastimosamente mataron a mi personaje a mitad del juego pero pude resolver dos homicidios incluyendo el mio aunque no vi quien me mato.

She has always been my favorite character from that game and i always play as her. Clue is one of my favorite childhood games.

The game was really fun, full of intrigue and mystery. Sadly my character was killed halfway during the game but at least i got to solve two murders including mine, even though i didn't see the killer.

Es la segunda vez que participo en un juego de este tipo y la verdad es que me encanta porque también tienes que actuar como tu personaje y así todo se siente mas real.

It is the second time i participate in this type of game and the truth is i love it because you also have to act as your character and that makes everything more realistic.

Como este sera mi ultimo post del año, les deseo a todos un muy feliz año nuevo y que todos sus deseos/ promesas se cumplan el año que viene!

Since this is my last post of the year, i wish you all a very happy new year and i hope all your wishes/promises will come true next year!

Christmas Mania 2011

El sábado 17 fue el ultimo evento de este año. Llamado Christmas Mania 2011. La verdad es que no pensaba ir ya que estaba exhausta de un trabajo del día anterior, pero como era el ultimo evento del año decidí asistir. Es el primer evento al que voy de "civil" ya que no tenia ganas de ponerme un cosplay y no tenia ninguno nuevo. Pero igual eso no evito que la pasara muy bien y disfrutara el evento.

Habían varios cosplayers y muchos que me gustaron, las chicas especialmente se lucieron en este evento.

Tome varias fotos pero la calidad no salio muy bien :(

creo que es hora de conseguir una cámara nueva xD

This past Saturday 17 was the last event of the year, called Christmas Mania 2011. The truth is i was not planning on going since i was exhausted from a job i did the day before, but since it was the last event of the year i decided to go. This is the first event in which i dressed "normal" since i didn't feel like wearing a cosplay and i didn't have any new ones. But that still didn't keep me from having a good time and enjoying the event.

There were several cosplayers with really good outfits,specially the girls.

I took a lot of pictures but the quality isn't that good, i think its time i get a new camera xD

Interactiva 2011

Finalmente he tenido tiempo de hacer algunos updates y empezar a postear de nuevo. Tratare de no demorarme tanto la próxima vez. El blog esta remodelado y aun me faltan un par de cosas, pero mientras tanto voy a hacer unos posts sobre lo que ha pasado en el año.

Empezare en este post con un gran evento de este año, Interactiva ha sido uno de los mejores eventos y espero que se siga haciendo.

Finally i had the time to make some updates and to start posting again. I will try not to take so long next time. The blog has been remodeled and I'm still missing a couple of things, but meanwhile i will make some posts about whats happened during the year. I will start with a great event from this year, Interactiva has been one of the best events so far and i hope they keep on doing it.

El evento duro dos días y tenia stands, música, videojuegos,bandas y mucho cosplay!

La verdad llegue super tarde el primer día ya que me demore haciendo mi maquillaje.

Mi cosplay del primer día fue bastante improvisado y hecho de 2-3 días. En esta ocasión fui una undead de World of Warcraft. Me divertí mucho haciendo el maquillaje y hasta ahora es mi mejor trabajo usando todas las técnicas que he aprendido. Me tomo alrededor de 7 horas entre lograr todos los efectos que hice y colocarme la pintura.

The event lasted two days and it had stands,music, videogames,bands and a lot of cosplay!

The truth is i got there really late on the first day since my makeup took a lot of time.

The cosplay i did for the first day was improvised and done in about 2-3 days. This time i was an undead from World of Warcraft. I had a lot of fun doing the makeup and so far it is the best job I've done using all the techniques I've learned. It took me about 7 hours to do all the effects and the paint.

No pude participar en el concurso ya que como dije anteriormente, este cosplay fue improvisado y no tenia ningún tipo de presentación. El concurso estuvo muy entretenido y hubieron muchos cosplays muy bien hechos y muchas presentaciones buenas.

El segundo día del evento fui de High Priestess de Ragnarok.

I could not participate in the contest since the cosplay was improvised and i didn't have any type of skit/presentation for it. The contest was very entertaining and there were a lot of good cosplays and very good presentations.

Review: M.A.C's Semi-Precious Collection

Hace Poco llego a Panamá la colección de M.A.C llamada "Semi-Precious". Esta colección cuenta con distintos tipos de piedras semi-preciosas que han sido añadidas a los cosméticos. Piedras como turmalina negra y pirita le dan un toque especial a esta nueva colección. Esta colección cuenta con varios productos desde sombras,lipsticks,blushes hasta brochas.

Los colores son realmente hermosos y bastante pigmentados.

Algunos tonos de las sombras que mas me gustaron.La verdad es que las fotos no le hacen justicia, se deben ver en persona.

Estas son las dos sombras que compre.

La verde se llama "Dark Indulgence" y la dorada se llama "Golden Gaze"

Me quede con ganas de comprar esta brocha ya que esta afuera de mi presupuesto pero me encanto todo sobre ella y creo que valdría la pena comprarla.Es de fibras naturales y es extremadamente suave.

En fin, la coleccion esta muy linda y vale la pena ir a verla ya que hay muchas cosas interesantes. Tienen desde colores muy oscuros hasta unos bastante claros y tambien naturales.

Lo unico malo es que ese tipo de sombras se deben usar con una base húmeda o cremosa abajo para que salga a relucir el color.Si se aplican solas no se ven con tanta intensidad . Con estas sombras uno las debe aplicar con pequeños toques y no tratar de difuminarlas mucho ya que algunas tienen una base oscura y se terminaran viendo de color negro.

Product Review : Everyday Favorites

He decidido hacer reviews de maquillaje y otros productos de belleza. Hablare de lo que me gusta y no me gusta de cada uno, características y precios. En esta ocasión hablare de mis productos favoritos que uso todos los días. También los explicare en el orden en el que los uso. Cabe resaltar que estos productos son los que uso para lograr un maquillaje muy simple para el día,el de noche es distinto.

I have decided to do reviews for makeup and other beauty products. I will talk about what i like and don't like about each product, their characteristics and prices. In this occasion i will talk about my favorite products which i wear everyday. I will also explain them in the order i apply them. However, these products are the ones that i wear for a very simple day look, the ones i use at night are different.

Antes que nada se debe comenzar por limpiarse la cara bien y así eliminar las impurezas. El primer paso para lograr un buen maquillaje es tener una piel limpia y sana.

First of all, you have to start off by cleaning your face and therefore eliminating impurities. The first step for a good makeup is a clean and healthy skin.

Empiezo por usar un corrector para disimular las ojeras, manchas e imperfecciones. Yo lo aplico con los dedos porque así es mas rápido pero también se puede hacer con una brocha pequeña. Es importante saber que el color del corrector no debe ser mucho mas claro que el color de la piel o este se vera como parches de otro color en la cara.

He probado muchos correctores y hasta ahora este es mi favorito. Es el "Select Cover-Up" de M.A.C. Es liquido pero no se siente pesado una vez que es aplicado. Cubre bastante y es fácil de difuminar.

I start off by using concealer to cover dark circles, skin discolorations and imperfections. I apply the concealer with my fingers because it is faster that way but you can also do it with a small brush. It is important to know that the color of the concealer should not be extremely lighter than the skin tone or it will look like you have patches of different color on your face.

I have tried many concealers and so far this is my favorite. Its the "Select Cover-Up" by M.A.C. It is liquid but it doesn't feel heavy once it is applied. It has full coverage and its easy to blend.

Trato de no ponerme base durante el día pero si la necesito, esta es mi primera opción. Se llama "Pro Longwear" y es de M.A.C. Lo que me gusta es que cubre mucho pero no se siente pesada en la cara. También me gusta que tiene protector solar. Esta base la recomiendo bastante en especial para el clima húmedo de este país. Esta base es de larga duración y debe ser sellada con polvo.Otra cosa que me encanta es que no es aceitosa, lo que la hace una excelente opción para personas con piel grasa o mixta.

Lo que no me gusta es que se seca rápido en la cara y por eso no da mucho tiempo para trabajarla. Hay que aplicarla rápido. Se debe aplicar con una brocha. Yo generalmente la aplico con las manos y por lo tanto debo lavarlas rápidamente porque se manchan un poco .

Lo otro que no me gusta es el precio. Es bastante cara. Llegando casi a los $40. Aunque para mi los vale porque es un excelente producto.

I try not to wear foundation every single day but if i need to, this is my first option. Its called "Pro Longwear" by M.A.C. What i like about this foundation is that it offers complete coverage but it does not feel heavy when applied. I also like that it has SPF. I really recommend this foundation, specially because of the hot and humid climate of this country. This foundation lasts a long time but it has to be sealed with powder. Another thing i really like is the fact that its not oily, which makes it an excellent option for people with combination or oily skin.

What i don't like is the fact that it dries quickly and therefore you don't have too much time to work with it.You have to apply it fast. It should be applied with a foundation brush. I generally apply it with my hands but then i have to wash them really fast because it stains them a little. The other thing i don't like is the price. It is pretty expensive, almost $40. Thought this foundation is completely worth the money.

Una opción mas barata de base es "Colorstay" de Revlon. Esta base tiene características muy similares a la de M.A.C pero su precio es mas accesible.

Al aplicarla no se siente pesada, también cuenta con protector solar (aunque menos que "Pro Longwear") y también es de larga duración. Aunque no dura tanto como "Pro Longwear".

Hay dos opciones, una para piel normal y otra para pieles grasas/mixtas.

Esta es mi segunda opcion de base. La venden en las farmacias Arrocha y cuesta alrededor de $16.

A cheaper option is the Revlon "Colorstay" foundation. This foundation has similar characteristics to M.A.C's , but it has a more accessible price.

When applied, it doesn't feel heavy , it has SPF as well (less than "Pro Longwear") and also, it lasts a long time.Although not as long as "Pro Longwear".

This foundation comes in two options, one for normal skin and one for combination/oily skin. This is my second option for foundation. It is sold in farmacias Arrocha and it costs about $16.

Las dos bases que mencione deben ser selladas con polvo para garantizar su larga duración. Mi favorito se llama "Select Sheer/Loose" que es un polvo suelto de M.A.C.

Este polvo me gusta porque cubre bastante pero a la vez da un efecto natural y no se nota que uno esta usando maquillaje. Este polvo es especialmente bueno para cubrir el molesto brillo que sale en la cara.

Este producto lo uso todos los días y siempre lo llevo conmigo.

Este polvo cuesta alrededor de $23.

The two foundations i mentioned need to be sealed with powder in order for them to last longer. My favorite is called "Select Sheer/Loose" which is a loose powder from M.A.C.

I like this powder because it offers a lot of coverage at the same time it gives a natural effect and you can't tell that you are wearing makeup. This powder is specially good at covering that annoying shine you can get on your face.

I use this product everyday and i always carry it with me.

It costs about $23.

Para aplicar el polvo, uso una brocha "Kabuki". Hay varias opciones en las farmacias Arrocha y a varios precios. Van desde $5 a $10. Si son de marca, pues si son mas caras. Me gusta esta brocha porque difumina bien y ayuda a lograr una aplicacion uniforme y natural.

To apply the powder, i use a "Kabuki" brush. There are several options at the farmacias Arrocha and many prices as well. They range from $5 to $10. If they are a particular brand, they will be more expensive. I like this brush because it helps blend and achieve a uniform and natural application.

Luego de terminar con la cara, Paso a los ojos. Para este tipo de maquillaje extremadamente simple, solo me pongo delineador negro para resaltar los ojos. Mi favorito es el "Colorstay" de Revlon. Dura bastante, es fácil de aplicar y no se corre.

After i am done with the face, i move on to the eyes. For this extremely simple makeup, i just use black eyeliner to intensify the eyes.My favorite is Revlon's "Colorstay". It lasts a long time, its easy to apply and it doesn't smudge.

Luego paso a las pestañas. Para lograr darles esa forma curva uso este aparato de Panasonic que por medio de calor le da forma a las pestañas. Lo venden en Panafoto y cuesta alrededor de $15. Funciona con baterías.

Solo toma segundos lograr unas pestañas muy bonitas.

Then i move on to the eyelashes. To curve them, i use this device from Panasonic which uses heat to shape the eyelashes. It is sold at Panafoto and it costs around $15. It works with batteries.

It just takes a few seconds to achieve beautiful eyelashes.

Si quiero mantener las pestañas en esa posición, debo aplicar Mascara. Esta opción es transparente, lo que ayuda a que el maquillaje se vea mas natural. Esta mascara se llama "Professional natural lash mascara" y es de Covergirl. Se quita fácilmente con agua y jabón. Cuesta alrededor de $6 en las farmacias Arrocha.

If i want my eyelashes to keep that shape, i have to apply Mascara. This particular option is transparent, which helps the makeup have a more natural look. This mascara is called "Professional natural lash mascara" and its from Covergirl. It is easily removed with water and soap. It costs around $6 at the farmacias Arrocha.

Si quiero darle mas volumen e intensidad a las pestañas entonces uso esta mascara que se llama "Colossal Volume Express" y es de Maybelline. Esta es una de mis favoritas y la recomiendo por su intensidad y larga duración.

If i want my lashes to have more volume and intensity i use this mascara called "Colossal Volume Express" from Maybelline. This is one of my favorite mascaras and i highly recommend it because it lasts a long time and also because of the intensity it brings to the eyes.

Luego paso a los labios. Lo primero que hago es delinearlos. Mi lápiz favorito para esto es uno de la marca Trucco. Pero estos productos ya no están a la venta y por lo tanto paso a mi segunda opción. Los "Lipliners" de Prestige son una muy buena opción y vienen en varios tonos. En lo personal me gusta que sean un poquito mas oscuros que mis labios y luego los difumino un poco.

Ponerse delineador de labios da el efecto de tener labios mas rellenos, definidos y ademas ayuda a que el lipstick no manche la piel fuera de los labios. Estos "Lipliners" los venden en las farmacias Arrocha y cuestan alrededor de $5.

Afterwards, i move to the lips. The first thing i do is use a lipliner. My favorite one is from Trucco, but these products are no longer for sale and therefore i move to my second option. Prestige "Lipliners" are a very good option and they come in several colors. I like them to be a little bit darker than my natural lip color and then i blend them in.

Using lipliner gives the effect of having fuller and more defined lips, it also avoids lipsticks from staining the skin next to the lips. These "Lipliners" are sold at the farmacias Arrocha and the cost around $5.

Por ultimo me aplico este balsamo para los labios. Se llama "Tinted Lip Conditioner" y es de M.A.C.

Lo que me gusta es que tiene protector solar y ademas viene en varios tonos. Entonces hace las veces de chapstick y de lipstick en un solo producto. Este producto también lo uso todos los días y siempre lo llevo conmigo.

Si quiero usar lipstick, lo aplico por encima y así mis labios están protegidos todo el día. Este producto cuesta alrededor de $15 pero dura mucho tiempo. Aun usándolo varias veces, todos los días.

The last thing i use is this lip balm. It is called "Tinted Lip Conditioner" and its from M.A.C.

What i like is that it has SPF and also comes in several colors, therefore working as both a chapstick and a lipstick in just one product. I also use this product everyday and i always carry it with me.

If i want to use lipstick, i apply it on top and then my lips are protected all day. This product costs around $15 but it lasts a long time. Even if you wear it several times a day, everyday.

El Sabado 16 de Abril se llevo a cabo el evento "Narufest 2011" . En este evento fui invitada a participar como juez en el concurso de cosplay.Decidi participar aunque no me gustara mucho Naruto pero la termine pasando muy bien.

Para este evento hice cosplay de Anko Mitarashi, que es uno de los pocos personajes de Naruto que me gustan xD

On Saturday April 16th there was an event called "Narufest 2011". In this event i was invited to participate as a judge in the cosplay contest. I decided to do it even though i don't really like Naruto but i ended up having a good time.

For this event i cosplayed as Anko Mitarashi, who is one of the few characters from the series that i like xD

Wonder Woman Makeup

Finalmente llego a Panamá una de las colecciones de M.A.C que tanto había estado esperando :D

La colección esta inspirada en Wonder Woman y por lo tanto trae colores que son parte de su propio maquillaje y de su outfit. Cabe resaltar que también hay colores que han formado parte de los otros tantos estilos de este famoso personaje.

The M.A.C collection that i had been waiting for so long finally arrived in Panama.

The collection is inspired by Wonder Woman and therefore it has the colors the she wears in her makeup and in her outfit. Some of the colors are part of some of the other versions of this famous character.

Algo que me gusto mucho eran los displays de maquillaje ya que usaron el estilo de cómics y me parece que les quedo excelente!
One of the things i really liked were the makeup displays and packaging since they used the comic book style and i think it turned out pretty good!

La colección incluía : polvos, blushes, lipsticks, lipglass, sombras,rimmels de colores, pigmentos, delineador negro liquido y pestañas postizas
The collection included: pressed powder,blushes,lipsticks,lipglass,eyeshadow,colored mascara,pigments, black liquid eye liner and fake eyelashes.

Lo que mas me gusto de esta colección fueron los lipsticks y lipglass.

What i liked the most out of the entire collection were the lipsticks and lipglass.

El Martes asistí a una fiesta/cena en la casa del embajador de Japón.

Fuimos varias personas de la comunidad anime como representantes de la cultura pop japonesa en Panamá.
Fue una buena experiencia y la pase muy bien.

On Tuesday i went to a dinner party at the Japanese ambassador's house.
A group of people from the anime community went as representatives of the Japanese pop culture in Panama.
It was a good experience and i had a lot of fun.

Los colores que use son rojo, anaranjado, amarillo, morado y negro. Este maquillaje esta inspirado por el ave Fénix.

Me diverti mucho usando este cosplay y lo mejor es que era super comodo!

Este post es para mostrar el WIP (work in progress) de mi cosplay de Saeko Busujima del anime High School of the Dead.
Este cosplay fue hecho como parte de un grupal que se estreno el dia del Zombie Walk el 30 de Octubre .

Athena Photoshoot

Aqui estan las fotos que me tomaron despues que acabo el evento.
Me tomo alrededor de 1 mes completar este cosplay. Algunos dias me quedaba hasta las 4 am trabajando en el para poder terminar a tiempo.
La armadura esta completamente hecha de foamy. Mas adelante hare un tutorial de armaduras ya que aprendi bastante haciendo esta.

El disfraz es muy pesado y ademas no es muy comodo xD y el casco me daba mucho dolor de cabeza por el peso :/
La verdad quede muy feliz con el resultado pero si hay un par de cosas que quisiera remodelar ya que no tuve mucho tiempo de trabajar en ellas.
Para los que no saben quien es el personaje, Es Athena de la serie Caballeros del Zodiaco (Saint Seiya) con la armadura de oro que sale en la Saga de Hades.
Decidi hacer este cosplay porque Caballeros del Zodiaco fue uno de los primeros anime que vi cuando estaba pequeña y el personaje de Athena/Saori , era el que mas me gustaba ^__^

Athena en Apertura 2010

Bueno, Ya era hora de que subiera las fotos de Apertura xDD

En esta ocasion,use mi nuevo cosplay en el que trabaje por 1 mes, todos los dias y a todas horas :/
Fueron muchas horas de trabajo,esfuerzo y paciencia pero al final valieron la pena y quede muy feliz con el resultado.
La verdad la pase muy bien en el evento, me diverti. Lo malo es que si hacia demasiado calor :/
Pero recibi mucho apoyo de mi familia y amigos ^__^
