If you are not satisfied with your assessment, you may appeal your assessment to the Clinton County Board of Review.  Appeals must be filed by the deadline (30 days after the publication date of the assessment changes by the Clinton County Assessors Office in the newspaper).  If you file late, your appeal will not be heard.

Complaints must be filed on the following forms: PTAX-230 (Non-Farm Property Assessment Complaint) or PTAX-227 (Farm Property Assessment Complaint) for farmland complaints.  These forms and a list of evidence needed, along with the Board of Review rules can be obtained form the Clinton County Assessment Office or the internet at www.clintonco.illinois.gov/assessments.htm.  NOTE:  All forms are available at the Albers Village Hall.
