I have had my &quot;Blue&quot; can for quite awhile now, was one of the first testing areas.  I really enjoy how easy it is now to keep my house free of the clutter of magazines, papers, newspapers, etc - without feeling the guilt of tossing.  &lt;br /&gt;

I make it a habit to go through my home office areas once every 3-4 months and really clear out my old files, papers, etc.  &lt;br /&gt;

The Blue containers will handle anything but pizza boxes and glass.  I still haul my stuff to the recycling centers for glass, keeping my glass in a paper bag which then, you guessed...gets put back into the Blue container.&lt;br /&gt;

&quot;Closing&quot; refers to when all parties sign the final papers.  &quot;Funding&quot; happens when the recording has taken place and all money is released to the parties.  The $$&#39;s can&#39;t be released until recording has taken place and sometimes that isn&#39;t until the next day.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So, you may not get keys or &#39;possession&#39; until the next day.  You have set up your &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.myabqmover.com&quot;&gt;movers&lt;/a&gt;, your utilities, your insurance...all for that day of closing on the contract.  But here you are stuck in your old residence, waiting for that magic &#39;funding&#39; moment to take place.  &lt;br /&gt;

The utilities have been put into your name and are out of the sellers&#39; name and now they are still there...or at least you don&#39;t have your keys to enjoy your new utilities.  What?  I know, this is odd.  We haven&#39;t figure out yet.&lt;br /&gt;

My advice is to just be aware that this is the tradition, and if you really really want to know exactly when you get to cross the threshold, put it in the purchase agreement for all parties to agree to.  Date and Time for when you get those keys.&lt;br /&gt;

As a home seller, you should demand high quality photos of your property, no matter what the condition or location or price. &lt;br /&gt;

Once your home hits the NEW LISTINGS category, you may lose that opportunity for that buyer to come back and see the photos. Seems simple enough doesn&#39;t it?  Start driving around, call on some signs, look on the Internet, call on some that you see....try to get a Realtor to show you some houses........start again.&lt;br /&gt;

Wait, you need to get prequalified with a lender?  How do you do that?  Can&#39;t you do that after you find the perfect house?  Oh wait!  That house just sold to someone else...how did that happen?&lt;br /&gt;

Sound disorganized?  IT IS!&lt;br /&gt;

Most people start out the process in exactly the wrong order.  They think it&#39;s like shopping for tomorrow&#39;s dinner, or next week&#39;s vacation package.  Absolutely not!  It is one of the most important investments of your life, so doesn&#39;t it deserve the right process?&lt;br /&gt;

Here is the correct and best way to begin the journey of buying your home:&lt;br /&gt;
