I was asked by a creative agency a while back to come up with the image for this year’s Dublin Theatre Festival.
This is what I did.
The client finally decided on photography.

I’ve started a new project for young audiences. It is a western and I’ve decided to start screenprinting some of the images I am developing.
This is a 3-ink A2 screenprint done at Blackstack Studio, Kilkenny.

I like Moleskine sketchbooks less and less every day.
They don’t absorb ink, never been to fond of the format and the off-white paper drives me mad… Once I finish with the fifteen I still have around I won’t get any Moleskine again… No matter how cool they look.

I think this is the best film I saw last year. Time to do a bit of homage to it and get you to watch it in case you haven’t done so yet.

More Hammer influenced sketches. This time using pastel pencils

An old friend from the vaults. I did this as part of a series of illustrations for a gig in Kilkenny where Blue Ghost were playing.
It had very basic animation running but I remember it looked fantastic blown up on a screen behind the band.

I went to see Woman in Black to the cinema this week. I didn’t know anything of the film before it started so it was a very nice surprise it was a Hammer film… and it didn’t disappoint me. It was a catalog of resources in classic horror films. Really enjoyed it.
