As with getting ready for every summer holiday, things can get pretty hectic. Almost everyday this week I've been shopping for last minute stuff, but yesterday while looking for some essential holiday clothing I came across this beast of a shirt. As soon as I saw the amazing graphic, I snapped this one up in an instant. Being the kind guy that I am, I thought I'd throw up a couple of pictures to feast your eyes on. Enjoy.

So Saturday I paid a visit to the Custard Factory for a Bigger than Barry night. The line-up on the night featured a whole host of DJ's including the likes of Toddla T, Benga, Jack Beats and Joker. Everyone was on point, but Joker killed it. For this reason I felt it was only fair to whip out the 3.2 megapixel bad boy known as the E71 and record a clip of his set. Obviously the quality is atrocious but the audio isn't too shabby, so have a listen. Oh, and yes that is Ms Dynamite doing work on the microphone.

Okay, so today I got a rather sick package off the postman this morning. The package had come all the way from LA, so I knew what it was. This shirt is the MK13, a collaboration between Maestro Knows and 13th Witness. I'm a massive fan of both of these guys, so what better way to support them than by copping this shirt. You'll probably catch me wearing this thing all the time.

I heard about HBO's How to Make it in America a while back, and was rather intrigued. Since most good American shows never quite make it across the pond, like any normal kid from the twenty first century I headed to the nearest torrent site and grabbed every episode that has been aired in the US so far. After spending an afternoon getting updated on the series, all I can say is this show is amazing. Heck, I'm considering moving to NYC if life really is like that. Watching all those episodes in one go got me well acquainted with the intro and it's theme song. So the theme song is by a guy named Aloe Blacc, and I could tell you how amazing it is but you should just take a listen instead.

So this is me in Italy. I'm currently on an exchange, temporarily living in Italy. I've visited some amazing places, and I've still got so much more to see. This trip has been really inspirational. Anyway, that's all from me for now, but more to come soon so stay tuned.

So DJ Khaled just dropped his third album entitled 'Victory', which I happen to be listening to as we speak. He also released the video for 'All I do is Win'. This song like most of Khaled's anthems features T-Pain on the hook, and includes the likes of Rick Ross and Ludacris. I'm not sure what I'm more impressed by though, the actual song or T-pains new barnet. Either way, check out the album.

So I stumbled upon this Foamo remix of Major Lazer's 'Bruk Out'. Now I'm a fan of Foamo's work, especially his remix of Laidback Luke's 'Hey', but I'm also very much a fan of Switch and Diplo's work under the Major Lazer alias. So If you like any of the above, be sure to check out this little gem to get ready for the new Major Lazer EP dropping April time! Oh, and listen carefully as I'm sure I can hear bits of 'Hey' in this one.

It's fairly safe to say that this is a tune. One of the best Rihanna songs I've heard in a while, with a decent video to boot. The video reminds me of MIA's - Galang. As always I've got you a nice remix to go with it, courtesy of one of my favourite DJs - Diplo.

The new Nike commercial is nothing less than brilliant. It focuses on the drive and motivation of athletes, featuring the likes of Lance Armstrong and LaDanian Tomlinson. I could keep on about how great I think this ad is, but I think you should just watch it instead.

So unless you live under a rock, you've most likely heard about Apple's latest innovation. Heck, I managed to see it unveiled even though I was sitting, watching the football. I've had a chance to check out the keynote, and I reckon this thing is going to be big. When I say big, I don't mean on an innovation level like the iPhone. I mean big, as they have just created a niche that know one ever knew we needed. Granted there are netbooks that fills this niche between the phone and the desktop, but I don't think using a scaled down machine is the answer to finding the middleman between the two. Apple on the other hand have managed to find the perfect balance between the two. 

There are a few things that I'd like to note about the new iPad. Firstly, it looks nice. Apple always deliver on aesthetics, and this is no exception. It looks like the love child of the iPhone and iMac. Secondly, they dropped a bomb when announced the price. It starts at $499 which I think it tremendous value for money when you consider the hardware- a giant multitouch screen and Apples very own mobile processor. Thirdly, the UI looks beautiful. They've take the iPhone's UI to a whole new level with this thing. So there's no multitasking or Flash, but who cares? The iPhone has got by just fine right? Anyway, hopefully I'll be in the line for this thing when it arrives the other side of the pond.
