Lior was one of the sweetest brides i’ve ever photographed and Jared is one of the most secretly cool guys i’ve ever worked with and together they make an Awesome rockstar couple with love that abounds from every inch… i LOVED shooting this wedding with the fun families and crazy Horas! Thanks for letting me be a part of such a special day!

I was so honoured when family friends, Margaux and Dirk asked me to capture their wedding day. They dated for a short while in high school and after many years apart finally got together [forever] and knew it was a match literally made in Heaven and the wedding plans proceeded quickly thereafter. They are such a fun family that they decided a weekend wedding was the only way to celebrate their matrimony, so off to Mangwa Valley lodge we all went and what a fun time we had! The intensity of love that their families had for them was evident throughout the day with tears flowing freely everywhere but it erupted with the father/ daughter and mother/ son dances. Awesome!

I always quote Audrey Hepburn: “The happiest girls are the prettiest girls” and gee whiz! Margaux was  H A P P Y !!! and just look at that dress!

This, my first “royal wedding” with His Royal Highness the King of Lesotho attending, was so super special! It was my first visit to the Mountain Kingdom and I was not disappointed!

Neo and Makhetha are such a wonderful couple incorporating many beautiful western elements but not forgetting their traditional roots. For the creative shoots I scouted the surrounding area for a cool location and I couldn’t have asked for any better than a dilapidated house around the corner from the country club…

Part two of Darren and Kim’s awesome wedding is all about their day after shoot.

Here we got to finally get intimate shots of them two doing life as crazy and extravagant as they do it. Also gotta thank the Gordo’s for all the cool props and the random guy [whose name we didn't get] playing RHCP on his ukulele, and all the dogs that pop by to say hi  as well as their owners that poured out congratulations as the walked by – Random but cool!

So as Jewish weddings go, Darren & Kim’s has gotta be one of my favourites…

We worked together on such cool ideas for the separate Groom and Brides shoots and i’m sure you’ll agree that they are super creative, just like the couple.

The bedekken was intense with not a dry eye in the room – not even me – then the Chuppah was beautiful – and I can’t believe you made it out alive of the craziest Horas I’ve ever seen – AWESOME!

Fatima and Jacques are cool.

Not your regular rockstar cool, but that billionaire that sits next to you in a coffee shop kinda cool – completely unassuming … and they have no idea how cool they actually are. I LOVED their authenticity and their affection for each other was beautiful. Their wedding planned by Splendid Affairs was as always top notch and a pleasure to photograph – I love having Eve and her team at a wedding – it just runs so much smoother and the bride really gets to just focus on enjoying her day. well done guys!

Belinda & Glen tied the knot in the absolutely gorgeous RED IVORY LODGE in Hartebeespoort with beautiful coordinating done by Extravaganza!

This classy couple are both pretty creative and are so in love it was great to see how they treated each other with such soft gentle hands. Thanks for letting me share your awesome day!
