7th Month

Come to my realize, every coins always has two sides. Just like life, has problems and solutions.

My 7th month at work, not that easy yet not that hard to be reality.

Some said, I am "half-empty-glass" type of person. And some said, I am "half-full-glass" type of person.

Frankly, I did say I'm giving up, the fact is I'm still holding on.

But the world is round, sometimes you're at the top, sometimes you're down there.

Just like me. I could be both in the matter of time!

Work Hectic

Hey dear readers,

Hope you guys are doing fine :) Sorry for being extremely inactive in writing for those 4 months. Wow! Quite a number. HAHA!

SO... Like few of you know, I've been working for HSBC (Hon Kong Shanghai Banking Cooperation) in the last three weeks.

Being a sales person (FYI, I'm currently in the wealth manager position) is never been easy. It's just my first three weeks and I'm already pushed with crazy lil' thing called TARGET. HAHA. It has been driving me crazy for awhile. First of the very first, I'm kinda shocked my BM set her personal target for me and I thought I have to meet the target whereas it's not.

I came home and I am starting to whine at everyone. "Mom, you gotta help me. Dad, you too. And you you you!"

I seem so helpless at that time whereas I'M NOT! I'm just trying to be one.

Next week comes and my target is still pointing at zero progress. I'm getting more depressed and start to cried. I complain, "how could you guys letting me down and none of you is helping"

Sis approaches me and theoretically slap me hard on face, "you! you just look easy going and warm outside, but in fact, your mental is just like a shit! If few of your friends always get money-support in every their difficulties in the very first place, you won't be honored with those support. And for you to know, our family don't accept the concept of 'NOT TRYING'

It is not a parental-wisdom to always give their kids what they want. All they gonna do is catch your back when you fall & letting you walk on your own but still keep their eyes on you.

OKAY. I GOT IT SIS :)

Global Warning

I give away all of my lecture notes to be recycled, I do turn on the fan at noon, and only turn on the air-con at night. I do switch off all my appliances when I'm away.

However, there are few conditions that won't make all of us totally stop the global warming. But at least it goes slower. So what have you done to save the world? Remember. Each of us makes a difference.

Last month, 26 October 2010, a tsunami pounded and killed more than 100 people in Mentawai. Meanwhile, on the other side of Indonesia, Jogja, the volcano errupted 'til today and 49 people were killed. It's exteremly sad, isn't it. For those, who aren't able to help in term of fund or even in physical appearance, no harm to lift up our palms and pray.

27 Dresses

Today is the 4th time I've watched "27 Dresses". I have no idea. I felt in love for the movie that I can't get bored to watch it over and over again. I feel like it's so me. The dream. The job. Thats what I am always wanting for. To be the witness over someone's happiness. It's an endless happiness for me.

Anne Fletcher's movies are always the best. Stunning and remarkable. Also not forgotten, "The Devil Wears Prada". The best of the best.

Packaging Designs

Oh well, I have been applying an internship in the advertising company (*Not pretty sure they will try to slot me in) and designs get my attention recently. I'm dare to say it would need lots of hard works for me (*And I'm still don't understand why people was paid so low for their design, I mean in my Medan). Its like when I just have my tooth and learn to bite (*since I'm a business student).

So I browse, browse and browse through a lot of packaging designs.The designs are too eye-cathcing to be missed out. And it comes to a conclusion "who doesn't like NICE PACKAGING, rite"
If I, am going to grab fast on the book with the nicest cover. Even tho' there is a saying 'don't judge book by it's cover'.

I guess it's pretty cute to try on my bridemaids later on ;p

Wait and See

While I supposed to be at the next door because my friend invited me to join him a chat, but I'm here, picking up a time to write. I admit it, sometimes, I just like to be alone, only for myself, writing, exploring google, watching movies, thinking, lying on bed and do nothing. Sounds like a retreat huh.

It's been a week since I got back here, in KL. I'm really really not get used to it. I feel terribly shocked to see all the small spaces in the house, and the people around. Neither a good food nay a family. Well, this is the real homesick that made me say, "I don't want to be here. I don't even want to spend any bit of a year outside. I want to be home. Yes, to be home. I just don't feel this is home anymore."

This makes me finally decided to go home after my study. Sounds like I'm fullfilling my promise to my Dad. This is what actually I promised him to get my permit to KL last time. So see you occasionally, Singapore :)

So talking about going back to Medan, I've been draging my mind to what am I going to do then. It's been lotsa plans. Starts from owning a business, business and business. I guess it's been plenty on my mind, starts from the tiny mini mynie to the huge. Or catching up with my dream. Whatsoever! We will just wait and See ;)

Hey Readers!

It's been awhile since my last post. And again, I am here to do complaints! Sorry, I had trouble to express my feeling face to face. So its here, my very place to complaint.

I have been going through a lot of things during the raya and the mid break. And I was so so stressed out. Its not even a love story or friendship story. But yeah... Let me finish the story.

Unlucky me, I am not a person who can express my feeling easily. How unexpressive I could go. *sigh*

sigh... sigh... sigh...

Firstly, the talent night is being postponed! The first thing I knew, I had the spirit and that dream all along the way. But look at me now! I don't seem like to care and if I happened to lead again, its because I'm already halfway and it becomes my duty. I don't see it as what I wanted anymore. Unless, you give a fresh idea and you've succeeded to amaze me with your brilliant idea.

Secondly, the pressure of becoming the chairperson. Somehow, I wish I am not leading so I could give a better idea than where I am now. I guess my brain is not good enough to be used for both. And I'm not mentally good enough to catch the phrases that thrown by peeps. For those peeps, you-know-who-you-are and you-know-what-you-said. Don't judge book from its cover, dear :) Uh well, I'm not saying I'm regret to be chosen as the chairperson. To be honest, I learn lots of things. I regret why I only have a very short period to be the chairperson. Eventhough it wastes a lot of my time, gave me a very big pressure thinking of certain things, but yeah, I should tell you, its really worth it. The experiences, the knowledge. Its a good kick start to be in non-profit organization before you start your working life. Maybe some peeps mistakenly judge me as Buddhist fanatic or you-named-it. But you know, I'm here to gain the experiences, the knowledge and the value of being a committee.

Thridly, Its quite unrelated with the 2nd, but um just feels like telling this out. I HATE, hate when peeps are trying to point out what brand you are wearing. Wasn't it so high-school?? I know they are trying to make a joke out of it. But when they do it again and again like hundred times, they should know how annoying it is. It's not like 'you-can't-even-afford-them' but 'hey-you're-wearing-zara' too. So whats the point of pointing out what brand other peeps are wearing?

Last but not least, I've a very big problems dwell with Malaysian. Sometimes, its because of the language bariers, the way of thinking and the attitude, even their jokes sounds differently. If my friends happened to have trauma to check their emails, I've a trauma checking on my tweets and facebook page nowadays. The reason why I was away from twitter for few days and didn't show up in the twitter page as often as before. I'd try to scroll all the way up as fast as I can and check on the mention page only.
It's not only because I'm feeling uncomfy to read harsh words, but also I don't trust my emotional. So better to be avoided :)
Well, I didn't say Malaysian as a whole, its only for few. 'Cause nowadays I have a good relationship with few Malaysians.

If you judge me as immature girl, go ahead! You have no idea what I have been going through.

Thanks for my friends who put their concern on my post earlier. And thanks for my friend who yelled and whined at me over the phone. (I'm sorry he dragged you to his troubles. And I'm sorry I have the habit of shutting my mouth when somebody yell at me. If you expected me to say something, just wait until I called. It's not only waste your time trying to give explanation to mad peeps, but also your energy. Cause all I am going to say sounds trashy for you).

Don't worry! I'm not a stupid girl who do things without knowing any of the consequences.

I know exactly what I'm doing. (out of my control)

I know exactly who read my blog. (bunch of temple friends or maybe strangers)

I know exactly how they gonna react. (So, this is how a president of buddhist society solved her things? or maybe the other way round).

I know exactly who I am.

I'm so mad that I have no chance to control my emotion.

You know what... My life is totally disaster since I met him. If you thought thats all, I should tell you more.

But I'm so sorry, I didn't, I don't, I won't care anymore. Thank you to taught me the greatest lessons in my life (avoid peeps like you, be more considerate in making friends)! Have a nice day, dude!

First, my dearest vice president, Merry Dwi Tjandra, she has been very helpful, reminded me for what have to be done. Thank you.

Second, my sexy secretaries, Shenny Cuvita & Herliyani Christine, Shenny, I love her minutes writing, tidy and easy to understand. I named her as 'Do it now' person. Herliyani, define her as a 'very busy' person as she was mostly late to the meeting. Yet, she always comes with lot of ideas.

Fourth, my favorite, Kevin the treasurer, ah, too bad, he is 2 years away younger than me. Oooopsss... Haha. I'm just kidding. Well, everytime I see him, it's like he has nothing to worry about. Define him as cheerful, playful, relax and calm. Throw him a job and it would be perfectly done.

Fifth, without them, I am totally nothing. NOTHING. They are the programmers. Rifin, without him, I am totally lost and have nowhere to go. Thanks to him and the members that follow, Erni & Mery.

Sixth, my lovely public relations. They are my faves too. My brother, Alex and Shinta. Alex, a very quiet guy with a sharp way of thinking. (Kalo orang bilang 'diam-diam makan dalam') but don't you dare to say that in front of him. He would definitely answer you (Daripada elu 'diam-diam makan tai'). lol.

Shinta, cheerful and playful. Not much differences from Kevin, throw her a job, and it would be done week after the deadline ;p

No, I'm kidding. She is kinda busy with her camp preparation. Yet, she always make it to the meeting no matter how tired she is. I'm really thank her for her time :)

Last but not least, my creative team, Army and Chavia. Lets see how could they turn the empty hall to a total fabulous hall on D-day.

Today I'm bored. Damn bored. I've been in the room for the whole day with nothing to do.

I've been complaining to my friends and tweeted many times in twitter, saying 'I'm Bored' :S

Suddenly, I think of Daddy after watched a video posted by Devi in facebook.

Miss him badly tonight. Badly. I wish to have a hug before bed.

I wanna go home for a while. I just can't. My duties are staring at me now.

Anyway...

Queen of Complaints

It's been officially three weeks four days that I haven't entertain myself to write anything yet. Wait a minute... Did I say entertain? Yeap! Entertain! Excatly. While everyone busy entertaining theirselves with DVDs, karaoke, and even hanging out with friends, so here I am, entertaining myself with blogging.

I've been very, really, merely busy these days. Busy stepping my feet everywhere, busy repeating the same things in meeting, busy recalling what I need to say in the meeting, busy sorting out the emails, busy replying the emails, busy reading the messages daily, busy replying it, busy being called, busy organizing the talent night that so gonna be my first big project, busy asking help for the sport night. Thats not all anw. We, I mean Me, need extra hands. I am busy I am so gonna scream out loud. Seems like everybody throwing anything they can, right in front of me. *inhaling.

You know, it's never about the workload that I mind, it's the pressure that follows.

Geez! I'm serious, I am a queen of complaints. *.*

Well, to be very honest, it's not me, alone, who have been through all these. The previous President & Vice President are also did. They only don't do complaints. But I did, I just did.

Apparently, there is nothing to worry about. 'Cause you know me, I told you from the start. I knew exactly how to motivate myself, even sometimes mental breakdown could also happened on me.

I keep telling myself, 'If I couldn't handle this, now, I will never ever be able to handle the next one, for sure'

And you know... Don't take life seriously, 'Cause No One Gets Out Alive, anway.
