OkCupid.com, the free dating website has created an awesome tool to test the attractiveness of your photos. You simply upload your pics, tell the program what type of person you are, and the report runs itself. The only catch is that you are required to vote on others’ photos to see your report, which is generated within 24 hrs.

I could see this being used to test the effectiveness of various photos on the homepage or landing page of a website to see if the right photos attract the right type of of people. My test results showed that my company photo was the most attractive, while the photos where I am less visible got fewer votes.

I have gone to quite a few SEO conferences since attending my first SMX session,. Every time I go, there are things I learn and especially, great people I meet. I also have a lot that I would like to share. In SEO clinics, I have solutions to many of the problems posed. In expert panels, I have case studies to back-up the arguments being made.

As a marketer who works in a company where design, development, and marketing converge to create successful online businesses, I have a unique perspective on SEO. We often work with clients on a tight budget, who have no online presence yet, and who have little to no brand recognition. These factors have pushed me to explore new possibilities and new techniques to be successful. I have gained a massive amount of experience in a short period of time. Our marketing team grew from 1 person to nearly 20. Our revenue grew at the same rate. Now it’s time for me to speak at an SEO conference. Enough of the listening.
