My latest love is the "EDF Engery Blob, Zingy" he's just too cute.

So I decided to pop him onto a little short mesh top. The top is available for L$200 full perms on the marketplace here I am loving this creator's stuff - so inexpensive and easy to retexture :)

Sadly my hopes of wind power to fly my kite were dashed! I got this kite as part of a set from Lisp Bazaar at Collabor88 . It's a great set - comes as wearables and poseballs and the kites are texture change :)

My hair is from D!va - available this cycle of Collabora88 - this shade is Cat's Eye

My shorts are from TokiDoki artisan shorts (I dont think this stripe pattern is available now but there are lots of other patterns for these cute shorts.

My shoes are also from TokiDoki - I got these at The Dressing Room and they are grey but I modded them to brown.

I have recently developed a longing for an old Camper Van in RL and decided that I could have one in my Second Life to content me while I save for my real one. So I looked around and found a full perm mesh van for only L$89 here .

So far so good ... however my texturing skills need some work so before I embark on Camper Van texturing I decided to try something more simple and TaDaaaa! I got this Full Perm Rigged Mesh Ladies Balloon Shorts - Fashion Kit for $L250 on the Marketplace here

So far I have made two new textures for my shorts (in about 2 mins each) they are really easy to do as the kit creator gives out sample texture one can edit and so here is the result of one of my efforts. Soon I will have more shorts than I can shake a stick at!

Spring Rain on the Isles

As is my habit, I was changing my land and house the other day and I wanted some sea and islands so I went to the marketplace and found quite a lot of free cute stuff.

Both islands are free here - I have taken the shack and dock off the lighthouse island and joined two sheep islands together.

So here I am in front of the Jet D'eau in Geneva but Craig and Richard are missing! Looks like I need to do this mission on my own.

I dont know if any of you know of the old late 60's show "The Champions" - it is about 3 NEMISIS Agents who get special powers when they crash their plane in Tibet. I got a box set of DVDs of the entire show for Christmas and I just loved it.

It must have been made on a budget of 3 buttons and a showstring: the same house and furniture appears sooo many times, continuity errors are rife and film of locations is used rather than actually making the show on location. However I just LOVE it!

I decided to have a go at making a Sharron Macready look alike for my avatar and here is the result:

It's been ages since I did a blog post. My RL is busy and it is hard to find much time to spend on SL - but not hard to spend Lindens when I get there!!!

Anyways this post has a mix of freebs, bargain event items, group gifts, hunt items and regular price stuff.

First up - in the background you might notice a cute coffee maker??? (sorry I blurred it out). This is from Poche and it was L$150 - it is really adorable and makes several types of coffee. The wall doughnut decor and cup of doughnuts are also from Poche and they are free :)

The stool is from Zigana and was a Project Themeory item.

The Heater is from bbqq also a past Project Themeory item

My beanbag is from Mud Honey and is the Stash Bash Hunt prize. This is a great prize with losts of sits and 3 lays - also you can mod it :)

Having grabbed a bunch of free food and a couple of lovely food sets at 50L from Poche I set out my table and chairs, past gg from what next - table modded and was going to invite some friends over - but I just couldnt wait to get started on the yummies!

I love the new spring/summer pastel color skinny jeans from Maitreya - I'm wearing Zipper-Skinny Pastel * Yellow S and they go well with my gacha shoes from Fir & Mana.

I have been popping back and forward to collabor88 to check if Vive9 had pput out their new items and today they were there. I bought this hair Head Games (shown in Heidi rooted ) in both the Ombre and the Blondes pack - I think it is lovely hair.

The headband is also part of this collabor88 round - by U.F.O.

My skin is the same skin I wore in my last post - (Revenge SKINS) -Sugar- Snowball but it looks totally different as I have used the following make-up tattoo layers:

I remembered today why I don't do shadows - It took about 3 mins to set up my photo and about 30 mins in photoshop to remove all the black grid lines :( Actually I got a bit fed up editing and that is why the lips look a bit blurry - I just attacked the lines on the lips with a clone brush with little finesse!

It has been ages since I blogged anything - RL is hectic!!! In my SL I have been looking for new skins - I have a load of skins but just wanted something a bit different and I found this skin by Revenge called Snowball (shade Sugar) and it was only L$90 and I really like it - there is a free gg skin there too.

Jane has a bunch of really cute and affordable new casual mesh items out just now. I am wearing the new orchard top in blue and the new everyday shorts in eggshell.

My shoes are from Tokidoki - latest group gift - love them and I bought a couple of other pairs in different colors.

Lisp Bazaar is one of my favorite places to shop - the grass rug, and sunshine skydrapes are from there as is my Parasol which is available just now as a set of Parsols and umbrellas with poses at Colabor88 for L$188 - these are really great - texture change and with poses.

Normally when I take my photos I use the "AnyPose Expression Hud" (which I got free from the marketplace HERE) to make sure my hands are relaxed and my nails stay in place and that I am looking where I want to look - it's a great little thing. But today I forgot to wear it and so here I am doing a Paddinton Bear and giving something in the distance a "hard stare" lol

I've been wandering around C.D.T. 1st Anniversary Market and I have been lucky on a few boards there. Above (from the boards) I am wearing this lovely skin from BCC - Bara Light Freckles and prim nails in chocolate from Pulcino. My eyes are from Rozena - afternoon tea (I think they are a freebie there and not from a board but I might be wrong - got so much stuff it's hard to keep track!!!)

I love this cute hair from Rosy Mood - Myosotis. It is free and comes in several shades.

Lisp sent out this adorable grannies knitting circle set in the subscribo. As you can see no grannies bothered to turn up and knit stuffs for me!!! And worse still with SL being as it is I didnt get the set from the subscribo and couldnt get via history as it is being updated.

I didnt have to sulk however as Pandora Popstar has popped the set in free with her cute little hot air balloon lights. These are L$75 a set (this is a special price for first week of release according to notecard which I did get from subscribo - typical SL gives me notecards but eats my nice chairs lol)

Oh just a quick thing - the basket of wool is not part of the set - it is from What's Next.

My shoes are from Cafe Amie (either GG or LB)

Hair is from D!VA Yuri 3 in Cat's Eye - comes with ribbon on or loose version. I really like this hair.

Skirt is new from Jane as is the tank which is one of the loads of free tanks in the intrinsic tanks set. A fantastic gift of staples that everyone should have in their inventory.

I couldn't help myself, I bought some more L$!!! But hey who can blame a girl for wanting this beautiful dress from Baiastice which is currently part of the latest collection at The Dressing Room Blue ?

My shoes are a group gift from Gabriel and I love them. There are a few group gifts out there so check it out :)

The chair with the wings is free from Yip - it comes as a set of three long legged crane chairs with wings. Lots of cute/odd freebies at Yip.

Necklace is Bliensen + MaiTai - Tick-Tock - Hans Hase. This was the L$55 special at FFL so not sure if it is still at this reduced price now as it was a limited time offer. Maps for FFL even with the maps I have found FFL a little difficult to navigate but it is worth the effort!

There is a little hunt on at The Nest - Home and Garden - it is really easy and has some sweet gifts. Just look in the shops for the poster advertising the hunt and then seach (well so easy "glance" is a better word) around for a basket of eggs.

I seem to be just rubbish at money management in my SL. I decided to allow myself L$5k per month, it seemed like a lot at the time but here I am not even half way through the month having nearly spent all of it!!!!!

I did buy two skins this month (not ones in special events) so that accounts for a lot of the spend - almost half when I think of it. Looking in my inventory I can see that I have managed to get a lot for my money however, lots of special deals and free stuff and a few really nice full price items that I couldnt resist so I am happy (will just need to be really frugal for the next couple of weeks!) It's like RL money never lasts till next pay day lol!

I really loved my blonde D!va hair with the little spring birdies on it and then Lambsie found it in dark brown too here so we both hung around like bad smells till we got it!

Today, I moved into my new house - a cute little skyhome I got from *ionic* during the Voisins Hunt (not sure if this hunt is still on) and I invited my friend, Lambsie, to come over.

She brought with her the latest group gift from Glitterati , this adorable friends pose called "Youth"
She also gave me a set of the cutest framed pictures (you can see some of them behind me). These are no longer avilable to get in world (or at least I could not find the creator or store) but they are freebie full perms pictures so if anyone wants them you can drop me an IM or notecard and I will give them to you.

I furnished my new house very cheaply using many items from Lisp on the market place where there are 227 items currently for sale from 0 - 10 lindens from Lisp. The chair, table, book and rug behind us are a set for sale for L$10 and the lamp I think was free :)
