It’s rare that I get to take pictures of my lovely daughter.

She’s just not into it.

So, I was very happy that she agreed to let me take a few pictures of her

in her junior prom dress.

The light was so pretty,

and she is simply gorgeous,

if I do say so myself. : )

..and of course,

the real Linessa.

She is so goofy.

..should’ve kept more of the silly ones. ; )

I had never even heard of a

Gender Reveal Party,

until my sweet friend and sister-in-law

asked if I would photograph her party.

Such a fun way to share one of life’s most exciting moments

with all the special people in your life.

I remember spending hours after ultrasound appointments,

making a million phone calls to friends and family. ; )

Anyway,

I just think a ‘Gender Reveal’ party

is SO much more fun

than making phone calls. : )

I am in love with all the detail and work she put into everything.

It was all so perfect.

..and her handwriting is to die for. : )

..a handsome little he,

or a pretty little she?

The answer was in the cake… : )

“Yep, definitely a boy.” : )

All of us on Team Girl were sore losers.

..just kidding.

We are SO excited to meet little baby boy Marsh!! : )

because this was one of my favorite sessions,

and I know I say that every time,

but I really did have so much fun with the Walkers.

& they live in such a beautiful setting.

3 day juice cleanse.

So..

I’ve been wanting to try this for awhile,

and was really surprised when the kids said even they were excited about trying a juice cleanse.

I first checked into buying pre-made juice through different companies,

but they were all located on the east or west coast,

and when you add in shipping

on top of the juice price,

it was a little cost prohibitive to go that route.

So, I decided to just buy all the fruits and veggies and juice them myself.

I was excited to find a place on-line that had

recipes similar to ‘Blue Print’ juices.

I have the recipes I found posted below.

One question everyone always asks is if I felt hungry,

and I really didn’t,

as long as I had another batch of juice ready. ; )

The green juice, especially, is very filling.

There are 6 juices, which you take about every 2 hours.

. . .

For those interested,

I have an Omega juicer, and love it.

Here are the recipes I used,

taken from this site:

Green Apple – 3 romaine leafs, 5 celery leafs, 1 cucumber, 3 kale leafs, 5 parsley ribs,

2 apples, 5 tablespoons spinach, 1 pear, slice of ginger, 1 lemon

Pineapple Juice – (this is soo good) 1/3 pinapple, 2 apples, a bit of mint leaf, 1 lime

Lemonade – 1 lemon, water

Pear Juice – 4 pears, 6 celery ribs, 5 parsley ribs, 3 carrots, 1 lemon

Green Juice (recipe above)

Milk – for this, you can make your own almond or cashew milk.

However, I can’t seem to make it taste as good as

’Tree of Life’ Vanilla Almond Milk from our local health food store.

It’s so yummy, the kid love it, and it was on sale. : )

I tried to be close, but I wasn’t always exact on the ingredients

since I was making so much of it at a time.

There was also a juice with beets, which was hard to swallow,

and the kids wouldn’t even taste it.

Just smelling was enough for them. ; )

There should be at least 6 juices a day , 16 oz each.

I wasn’t real exact on this part, either.

If we got hungry, we just drank more juice.

In between, you should drink an equal amount of water, or tea.

We made lots of green tea.

My fast actually lasted until dinner of the 4th day.

They recommend you ease out of a fast, and I did. : )

It was actually fun,

and I know I will be doing this again sometime.

I lost 3 lbs,

and really do feel better.
