In this life we all have trapped ourselves in a cage, yet we are struggling to escape. This irony has lead to wars, riots, activism and all kinds of -isms. Now, you must be wondering, why someone would trap themselves and still try to break out from this prison. Well, if you look deep inside, you actually like the cage, but you simply want a new one, in fact a bigger one. We all get bored looking at the same cage every day. Well I would honestly say that “a cage is a cage” so basically it doesn’t really matter how it looks, what size it is; it is simply a bloody cage. This is the nature of the greedy self that wants the same thing in different packages that produces equal amount of pleasure. This cage is a symbolic representation of the mental blockages that exist in our minds, but the way we all construct our personalities depends on the circumstances we all have gone through, but of course the judgment or perception varies from each individual. Why do you think people feel suffocate from depression even if they are in an open space, with the right to go anywhere they wish? Well, this is something psychological that creates physiological symptoms, which are a part of the condition known as schizophrenia. Although it might sound too common to be called a disease, but this really does slowly progress into a web, till you are unable to escape.
Things just start to get ugly, when your morality rests on faith. Indeed, faith is not a part of our conscience, but instead it is our inner most desire, fear and prejudice. So, what is the conscience in the first place? You stimulus guides you all the time, call it “super-ego”, “head” or “God”, whatever you want but it won’t alter the reality; like Shakespeare once said,

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."

The society we all live in, has been disguised with hypocrisy and corruption. We are demons walking on the Earth posing as angels. The truth is that we all are scared deep inside, making a complete fool of ourselves. Well, of course it is not just the religious, fanatics or the extremists playing around, but it also the people who consider them to be “liberal.” You were born a human, but you want rights to be free as an animal, well then go ahead, run into the wild and hump each other in the bushes, waving the white flag, but don’t blame me if they hunt you down because you tempted them. The society will always welcome you to become a part of it even if you are their enemy, but remember, even God damned his favourite angel when he chose not to bow down.
We species are romantic souls - the grains of the desert of love. This love is what we all need to quench the fire within.

I believe that obsession is better than commitment. Because when a person is obsessed with something he is in that realm for that certain period of time, which keeps him happy, but he lets go, to become one with its beloved, not realizing the consequences.. in that emotional state one doesn't care about life or death.. his motive is his desire. He wants to achieve his dream.. and escape into another universe.. that he thinks or desires that it lasts forever but as everything is temporary.. it fades away. Our ego, gets satisfied when its stubbornness is over..by getting what we want and we then look for something else. We desire what we don't have.. and curse what we already do
so when a person is committed finally, it has to form a union forever.. or it would remain free and suddenly, when we become aware of our responsibilities, we start to back out.. or look for something new for change. If everyone on earth was the same life would be really dull and boring
that's why they, "Variety is the spice of life."

So, commitment is almost an emotional attachment, the only difference remaining is that the former is mutual so the pain occurs on both ends and finally they have to separate and bond with someone else, and the memory starts dying internally and slowly fades away.

The only option remaining becomes giving yourself to the starving vultures..
that divide u into pieces and you have no body, just a lonely presence which is invisibly miserable
but this pain is what takes us towards the oasis, which is the nectar of love what we actually need to become an ocean once again.
It's interesting how one event can change our instincts so deeply, that it modifies our behaviour for the rest of our lives. This explains us how the environment is responsible in shaping up our personality. That is how variety exists in nature; Man wouldn't be able to recognize beauty, otherwise. Life cannot exist in one and the same pattern. Change is required in every aspect of being, to make it experience its fate. We are not alone, there is someone out there looking out for us. Some search for God, and the atheists search for aliens. This is how our life goes, we all are on a long journey, that lasts for a second, but we don't want to let go. There is water underneath. but we don't want to jump off the cliff. You won't know unless you try. You are afraid that you might drown. You do not have a choice.

You are either afraid, content or just curious, but when life tells you that the time is over, nothing matters. Nobody knows what lies after death, but we fool ourselves with fairy tales told to us before going to bed since the day we were born. Hence, we repress our curious nature, and become content. Deep inside fear still lingers, that motivates us to live.
All histories begin on a memoir and are exaggerated into a fantasy; the latter is the world we all choose to live in. None of is happy, no one has ever been, and no one will ever be, because that is not what we seek. Happiness is a smoke of hope that creates a mirage in-between your senses. You say, ''Oh I'm fine'', whenever someone asks about you, but you know that it is the lie you 'wish' to tell yourself every day.

There is a cave of horror within us, growing each moment of breath, in the ‘puppet’ of a body we need to carry. Since the beginning of time we are forced to surrender to the force that controls us. Nobody is aware of this deity, yet there remains a belief. You start worshipping your instincts. Every command becomes a sermon, a call for pleasure. This is your escape.

I’m afraid that this ‘fantasy’ collapses into a chronic disappointment, as soon as we start questioning the reality. Your awareness wants to remain enslaved, as it serves the purpose of companionship and devotion, but before the sun sets there is work to be done. The hungry beast inside you needs to hunt its dream before it decides to become one with it. This is what you define as love. This love exists beyond morals and values of any kind; it is unconditional but way more selfish than you think. This 'drug' keeps us alive spiritually, by motivating us to survive. Although we can end this sweet misery, we choose not to, because deep inside we know that the answer to 'happiness' is death.

Since the day we are born, we are spoon fed with the idea of God and some principles to follow. Our name is chosen, and we are locked in a prison, that has many names like, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, etc. As we grow up, we realize that even though all of us are humans, we are still divided in different groups. It reminds me of my time at high school, where people in the beginning form one huge group, and then as time progresses, it starts dividing further into smaller groups. We have the cool kids, the losers, the bullies and a bunch of chicks who don't have a life, and also because their parents told them to stay away from boys although they sent them to a co-education school.
Every other day there is a fight in a group, or a rumor spreads about someone's relationship. People despite staying away from each other because of their differences, tend to gossip religiously, like they want to know each and everything about their enemies, but in the end still hate them. Each group tries to bring the other group down, like a kid pulling his dad's pants to gain attention. The question is why the childish beviour when you don't wish to be a part of each other? This really is a strange question though, as we feel insecure being left out, so we grab a buoy to keep ourselves from drowning in the politics of society.
We humans are no different from other species. Our behaviour is completely natural and logical. We have programmed ourselves through millions of years of evolution, in order to form our own way of life. All we need to do is learn to live together in peace, despite the hierarchy and the differences.

Don't become a part of a dogma, instead try to look at things from an aerial view and realize that you can exist alone.

Don't you sometimes feel like you are trapped, and want to come out of the cage you have been living in? What is that feeling that binds us all from doing what we really want? Why do we experience it? Today, we are going to discuss this issue in detail. The sensation of entrapment, is due to our mind, that gives logic or reasons to the "left brain" and the "right brain" that helps us in thinking emotionally or creatively, is repressed, due to several reasons. First, that we create this "conscience" as we are aware of our potential or desires, that may be used for the good or bad, but our fear tries to tie us down. This is the "defence mechanism" of the human mind that helps them stay in control of their lives, otherwise we would be jumping from the roof or standing in the middle of the road or acting impulsively without analysing our thoughts. This is one of the survival instincts, that have evolved since the stone age by learning from our experiences, we call this "conditional learning." Conditional learning is when you follow a certain action by the help of a stimulus in the external environment which activates the stored thought from the memory to respond. From example, a dog will not come near you, if you hit him once. So, the observer is the dog, you are the stimulus and the "thought of getting hit" is the "impulse."

Freedom, acknowledgement, company and pleasure are the things we need to survive psychologically, otherwise we start decaying slowly from inside, and by the time when we realize this, it's too late. One needs to consciously live their life, in order to revert back to their original state of mind, which would be considered "normal" in our society.

Call me an ego maniac, but the word God offends me. I have no issues with that deity or whatever it might be, it is just the idea that makes me uncomfortable. When we speak of God, we instinctively imagine it as a higher authority. This thought has not been shoved down our throats by the Supreme Being, but the tragedy remains that we humans have come up with this piece of fiction, that has destroyed the lives of many. Of course, I do not deny the existence of a God, but I prefer accepting ‘’it’’ as a creator instead.

Now the real question is, why have we created the idea of God in our heads? The answer is much simpler than it seems, and it fits in one word, ‘dependency.’ As organisms, just like trillions of other species on this planet, our bodies are dependent on oxygen, food, water, shelter, etc. This need has over the millennia become much more complex than we can imagine. Through the process of evolution, the human mind, unlike any other holds the key to understand the mysteries of life, or create further.

Our thought process designs a social hierarchy through judgment of objects, mainly of its own kind. We like to classify everything, in order to understand things more clearly; otherwise we would just remain in an attention of haze, bewildered by the magic of life, oblivious of the purpose of our existence, just like our ancestors.
There is a fine line between and an art and a craft, the former being a manifestation of a meaning and the other holds the benefit of purpose. There is a unique synchronicity between the two that gives rise to one another, which is also known as science. The concrete idea remains constant, however the purpose keeps shifting. Both of them display aesthetics, but the only difference is that you can only perceive craft from one angle, but art can be viewed beyond a person’s intellect, however, it is difficult to determine the actual intent of the creation.

Art has no boundaries; it is limit less and cannot be measured, whereas craft is based upon principles and techniques. It is simply yin and yang, a combination of emotion and logic. This balance is the recipe of life. Everything originates from a thought or philosophy; otherwise it is merely an object. When the meaning of that object disappears, it transforms into an idol that is only practised as a ritual. Just like, different religions and cultures have materialized from a profound thought, but slowly the essence has been filtered and what’s left is just the customs and traditions, what we call the ‘norms’ of the society.

An artist is a gypsy, who never settles in one place, as it needs to find the truth. It keeps revolving and worshipping the idea of the world it chooses to live in. Everything that exists has been created through an art and holds the infinite potential of its creator. You are like the wild species that need to be free, unless you’re thrown into a cage like a bird, you forget to fly. Once your environment has been limited, you dissolve the idea that you ever had wings. Hence, you settle for a new identity, which is a life that a zombie would die for. Only a life that is meaningful with a purpose is worth living, which is only possible when you align yourself with the cosmic duality.

One of the most fundamental questions is, why do we dream? It's not just humans, in fact, all living creatures dream. We are no different from one another. While we are dreaming, we are just seeing with our eyes closed. What I'm trying to say is that, we are dreaming all the time, even when we are awake. The word "dream" means visualizing a thought or a desire. All the tasks we perform our done with the help of our memory that projects what ever past experiences we think of, through which we also think of the future, which is an illusion itself. A person's mind never stays in the present moment, and we are living two lives at the same time, either awake or asleep. This alternate universe that we create in our minds, is experienced aesthetically. By aesthetics, I don't just mean vision, but all the five senses. Our senses makes us feel alive, and enjoy the beauty of life. That is what makes everything real. Which is again an illusion, for example, hallucinations, or hearing voices, etc. Whatever the majority experiences or does is considered normal and the rest is not accepted, even though there is no difference, but we accept it only when we go through the same experience. Man needs proof for everything.

Most of the time I see multiple dreams in one night, but sometimes I see a long dream that is linked having different episodes, somewhat like a movie. They either continue the next time or recur. I believe that our dreams our symbolic representation of our thoughts that have accumulated deep down, they could be desires, fears or may be a prediction for the future. It is hard to tell, if a dream is an intuition or just an illusion. But anything is possible, and we must learn what our dreams are trying to tell us, because it could be signs of the universe, or an introspection of our mental state. Since a few days, I have been experiencing strange, lucid dreams. When I wake up, mostly I'm able to recall the dream, and feel like I'm still in that state. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm still dreaming or awake, which gives me this weird feeling of dejavu, this one's more nauseous though. I often wonder, what if I lose the track of being concious, and forget if I'm still dreaming. The truth is that I don't wish to come back, like being in coma chosen with consent. This is my escape from all the miseries of the world. The best part of living in that realm is that one can fulfill all their desires, and live in paradise.

Recently, I thought of writing my dreams to remember what I saw, find out what they really mean and use them as ideas for my stories. Describing a dream can be really difficult, as it is an experience, and not something you have understood theoretically. When we are dreaming we are using our complete potential, because the illusion of mind is not there. We create worlds that we can't even imagine while we are awake because our mind that believes in logic stops us from doing so. Mind is the collection of images or thoughts that we have in stored in our memory, which signify the way we judge ourselves or life. It contains all the conditioning that we have experienced through society, parents, friends, environment, education, and our experiences. This mind set is deeply embedded in our conciousness since our childhood, that forms our personality through the self-image that we create. This image depicts our success and failures in life, even though we all our born with the same amount of intelligence, but whatever we focus on becomes our destiny.

Now, coming to symbolism, our conciousness (awareness) interprets our thoughts into objects that we have experienced in our life, they could be places, people, animals, etc. This way we comprehend what we are dreaming about. Symbols always represent a meaning. So, if I see myself falling from a building every night and wake up sweating, tired and breathing like crazy, it not only means that its a nightmare, but much more than that. We would think that it means that I have a fear of height, but may be the idea of having a fear of height is itself symbolic. Think about it, fear of height. It clearly means that the subject has a fear of falling, hence it represents fear of failure, which he experiences it not only in his dreams, but also in his real life, but doesn't understand why. So, every emotion has it's meaning within it, just like life that has been created in the form of universe, which is an emotion that has a profound meaning to it, through this ocean we all our sailing in our boats to discover the truth. Through this journey of understanding life, we also discover ourselves, and our purpose, which leads us to our destiny, and then wake up from this dream and move on to another, smiling, becoming one with our self.

We all want to feel accepted as a part of the society, just want to be considered “normal” so that we are not alienated and left out. Our every action is performed according to the holy commandments of the society. Normal is what the majority thinks, which is considered legal, moral and acceptable. That is the box we all live in, never try to even peek and see what lies beyond. Simply ask ourselves what is the truth? We are never allowed to question ourselves, everything gets thrown down at us and we just have to accept it as our identity and join the “human race.” So, basically we all are looking for an identity. Each one of us wants to feel loved and appreciated.

The idea of having a separate identity comes from nothing but mere discontentment with the current state we exist in. Like I mentioned in my previous about reality being one single identity, and infinite identities being present within itself, so my point is that the realization of being or feeling separate is what creates an identity, its not the physical body that is visually disconnected from one another but the thought. So, what I’m trying to explain is that we have always been one, but our ego has divided us. This has been my message since I started writing my blog, which started with the idea of creating an awareness of oneness and to end discrimination, and so I continue with my motive in a more profound manner. Remember you are not alone, but one, mystical isn’t it. That’s the beauty of nature. It just keeps you questioning, to bring you back to itself. To remind you that you were once the only unique existence, you were content until you became aware of your only existence and felt alone, so miserable that a desire was born, a thought to have company, to see, to feel, to smell, to connect, to hold, to hear, to become one with.

To grow our awareness, we must create a generation that celebrates life.

Last time we talked about reality being a collective awareness consisting of infinite observers within it, and every single entity being aware of each other's existence, but perceiving that they are separate from one another, instead of being one.

Today, we will go deeper into the search of reality, the truth. Now that we understand our existence as a whole, we will look at it from another interesting perspective. Reality that we perceive is a neutral realm that we all exist in, but our awareness remains in another dimension, which is our own creation. Let's look at this way, we have three parallel layers of existence, God-conciousness (reality), the universe (material world) and our perception. Think of these three layers as particles. Reality being proton, the universe as neutron and our perception, electron. The universe or whatever our mind is exposed to is just a flow of constant neutral events but taking a different shape as they pass on, but as our awareness is attached to it completely by default we tend to judge it emotionally as we think that it's real. This happens in a fraction of a second at a sub-concious level which is almost beyond our control. So that "judgment" basically conditions a neutral thought into an emotional one, its like a particle being charged. So let's say if we judge a thought in a negative way, we produce a negative emotion, and if we judge it in a positive way we produce a positive emotion, that explains the example of proton and electron, which as we all know from high school chemistry, sub-atomic particles that are positively and negatively charged. So basically our awareness is playing games with us since the beginning of time. This explains that initially there was nothingness, let's call it sleeping intelligence, that gave rise to a concious awareness which is the reality, that further evolved into parallel illusionary realm that co-exists but isn't one and the same, just like our mind and body, which is what we call the universe. Universe is the projection of conciousness.

I believe that reality is one single source that we all possess in, but what we perceive is an illusion. Once I was watching this psychology lesson on you tube and I learn't this great thing that perception is intelligent, which is very true as we all perceive through our own intellect, and our intellect is based on our experiences and knowledge that lie within us, that we have achieved inthis life or aquired via our genes. So, when we talk about reality being one, then it means that there is no other identity but the reality itself. We may call it God, nothingness, energy, self, anything at all, it's one and the same. When I say one being or identity I mean an individuality that exists beyond space and time, and the material which is the universe, it's creation is just temporary part of it. We all know that nothing can exist without a creator, and if there is a creator, it has to be something, an intelligent personality, which defies the big bang theory. This part that I have discussed is completely logical, even though Physicists might not agree, but it is. Just like religious fanatics have their ego that neglects science, the same way scientists or atheists have an ego that denies anything that seems illogical, but the truth is that both complete each other.

Now, the fun part begins, this is where we start thinking out of the box and enlighten ourselves. As you read this I want you to visualize it, feel it and experience with me the beauty that surrounds you, that is you. The true Identity being present before the beginning of everything where no time or space existed, created numerous identities within itself, resulting in time and space eventually. Every single particle or atom of energy created being material itself has the same intelligence present in it. Each new existence (in the creation of the universe) is a seperate individual, having an intelligence, or in other words, a mind of their own. This intelligence creates an "awareness" within each new individual, and creates their own sense of identity or individuality by comparing or separating themselves from the other, this gives to the ego, which is greek for self of I.

What exists is a mosaic of one person giving birth to infinite personalities within itself, yet being aware of one another and as a whole.

Next time, we'll be discussing sensation and perception, which is also a very interesting topic. See you soon, take care and God bless! :)

In this world, we all have a reason that separates us all from the material world. This life is very precious, and it's only beause we all have a destiny to follow. That (destiny) is what makes us all equal spiritually, because our destiny is to be in union with God in this world and the here-after. That is the true meaning of life which we all must know and manifest it by seeking self awareness, which can be achieved only by freeing ourselve from the worldly desires and connecting with our higher self, the inner God or in other words our "conscience" that guides us all the time.

This life is a true test for all of us as we must believe in one God, who we can't see. That's where the real mission begins. That is the only purpose of life, serving nature and becoming one with it. After all we all are a part of God and we all have to go back to Him.

Need is a funny word. It is the most exaggerated word used by us humans, and it's because we don't know the difference between a desire and a need. It's like we have the need to fulfill that desire. So, basically we create "needs" in our minds, that are just another way to seek pleasure to escape from the moment, and all the stressful lives that we all have. Hence, they become our psychological needs. We have other needs as well like emotional and physical. So, what is a need? It is simply anything that is required to survive or live this life in a normal, healthy way, unless you're stuck on an island, like Tom Hanks in cast away talking to a volley ball and hunting fish for dinner, that guy really pulled it off satisfying his needs. This is the reason we all remain confused, and fall into this fancy state called depression, which again is exaggerated. For example, once I asked my girl friend why she's depressed, and she was like "I can't find my tooth brush." and that very moment I remained stoned for a minute, it almost gave me an epilepsy. When our need is fulfilled, we move on to the next thing. One must know what is right for them before indulging ourselves into an emotional attachment. A relationship that is based on giving lasts longer. Everything that exists in this life is temporary. Need or purpose is primarily selected by nature, it provides us with different people and other things that come in our life for a reason, and they leave when their 'time' is over. In other words, when their purpose in our lives has been fulfilled. Nothing is useless in this Universe, not even mosquitoes, I still need to figure out why they exist. I'm sure they weren't made just to suck our blood and give us pain or misery, just like women, well I hope not. But you never know, it could be another trick played by God to punish us. So beware before the Almighty sends more mosquitoes from hell right at ya.Trust me you don't want to mess with the Big Guy up there, or else He might leave you screaming and schizophrenic, again just like women. I wonder if God is a woman. They both possess the same characteristics. May be God sent women on Earth to test the "man" kind. It's like women don't even exist, I mean just look at all the scriptures, who ever wrote it, really loves men.

There is no God in the real world, you're on your own, struggling for survival of your existence in this world of ego. There are no angels or demons around, it's only you. A place where everyone is looking for a new drug everytime to please themselves. There is only discontentment and chaos within everything that exists. All trying to find their identity. Some are confused, while some are lost. Those who know where they are going don't bother about others and just move on towards their destiny. Living like zombies, trying to pull each other down. For them the real happiness is succeeding first in every aspect of the material realm. Is this us or we have been programmed this way to lead this life, to support the universal system? The truth is that nobody knows the truth. There is a frown behind every smile. Oneness seems to evaporate towards the heavens. The miserable scream within their hearts, "Where is the Creator?"

Suffering with pain makes us question the truth. "Why am I here?" "Where did I come from?" But the pain doesn't go away, but it takes us closer to ourselves. We create our own bubble. Start living in it and make it our universe. That becomes our reality. A place where everything seems perfect. Knowing deep inside that is nothing but mere denial. Masking my agony.

We all our like particles, we look different but are the same inside. Those who consider themselves the chosen ones from above, try to spread the message of peace and oneness. When nobody listens, things turn ugly and they form their armies and fight amongst each other, just to conquer infinite power. But they forget that they are here for a few days, and then there is silence. "Prepare for darkness, or your ignorant souls shall suffer in regret." , their conscience speaks. But they don't listen. For them pleasure is more important than heaven. They can't wait for the virgins who shall be there waiting for them. They would rather choose burning hell. That would be a pain they shall never mind. Does pleasure stop the time and take us to the dream world? Is that an escape from the religion, love and the culture they have created. Man needs change, otherwise he becomes a monster. Either you burn yourself and others. You start feeling allergic to peace. You want to die, but you're afraid of the here after. Your conditioned mind is plaguing your conciousness.

But, it is time to awaken and see life as it actually exists.

Our awareness or "mind" is like a sponge. It absorbs everything that it is exposed to. The knowledge all species possess comes genetically, through conditioning and the environment. This entire information is stored in our memory or the "sub-concious". Now, when we talk about vulnerability, it means susceptibility of any particular thing. Coming back to our conciousness, we relate this phenomena with our "attention" being prone to the effect of the "external" upon us.

You might feel that this is something that we can't control, but it only occurs through our consent. Our sub-concious is always active that accepts everything that comes its way, but as we our attention is fixated towards the external environment we are not aware of this fact, though we are manipulating it. This entire "mental government" manages the functions of the body. Call it the brain, mind, conciousness its one and the same. All the thoughts arise from the memory, which has all the experience accumulated inside. For example, I'm looking at my computer screen right now and typing, that's where my focus is, but the rest of my awareness is towards the rest of the environment including the memory (attention) , which is the past, which also gives birth to the thought of future, in other words it is the same center of the brain (Hippocampus) that is activated when we think of the future, as it is something that is coming from our memory, there's nothing new, but the desire makes it a fantasy which is nothing but mere illusion. So, the ratio of focus and attention is indirectly proportional to the vulnerability. When both the factors coincide, confusion occurs, in other words our mind wanders. For example, when we are praying, attending a class, watching tv, talking to someone, etc. What exists is the present moment, and nothing else, the rest is all in our heads. Time is just a flow of events that is inspired as a way of living the life in a disciplined manner, call it man's invention or nature's plan, it doesn't really make a difference.

This entire thought process occurs through the phenomena of vulnerability of the human mind (including other species or forms of life as well). So, basically everything that is occurring in our life is in our control, we are responsible for it, yet we blame others like God, people, evil eye, circumstances, luck, etc, and stay miserable. To end this superstition we must have self awareness and act conciously.

Ego, Inflation and Depression. Interestingly all three of them have a close link. How? Well, the ego that is plaguing the Earth that was meant to be a Paradise, through the misuse of its power that has supposedly lead to inflation, it's more like inflammation, causing pain, burn and chaos everywhere. Eventually, a scar remains, that keeps us dead internally even though we are alive for the world, and that my friends, is depression. It is no surprise, we all know we are a part of this problem. Most of us have repressed it, living in denial or damaging ourselves or the environment. When our pain gets out of control, we want to inflict it on others. As they say, misery loves company. It's human nature, more like animal instincts. One of the seven deadly sins, violence. Yes, it is everywhere, I know it is sense-less, but like everything it has a reason to it, just like this infection we all are suffering from. In order to get rid of a disease, we must first carry on the diagnosis to identify the problem. After that, we take the history to find out the cause. Finally, we come to the treatment. For that we must remove the cause. So, what is the cause? Ego. Once this bacteria has been killed or removed we will feel better. This will either occur collectively or individually. The choice is yours!

The Illusion of Time

Time. Everyone's aware of that word. We use it all the time. We ask "what the time is" but do we really know what "time" is? I know this sounds absurd, but really, we haven't questioned ourselves what it means, or if it really exists. Why? Because we were exposed to a giant grand father clock as soon as we came out of our mothers' wombs. You never know, in a few years, babies might come out with digital wrist watches. It's just like the concept of God, we must know what it is, if it really exists and how does it exist in the first place.

So, today we are going to talk about time (no shit). Okay, now let's do a cool thing, try not looking at the clock or thinking about the time, and notice how time flies, even though it feels like actual or normal time. The basic idea is that time is moving at the same pace as it has been designed, but our perception alters its length, which is our illusion. But if you focus on the thought of time or even an object, "time" slows down. Hence time is the motion of thought, but the former exists in the mind, the actual time that we perceive as a force is just a fixed pattern of events, so that explains that time is in the mind. The nature of reality is time-less.

Again we can go into another argument of what the reality is, but that's a different story, we'll be discussing that later in another blog, sad, I know right? Anyways, let's get back to the topic, as we have much "time" to discuss. Honestly, I have to tell you, this time thing is really getting on my nerves, who came up with that idea anyway? No, blaming God won't really change anything, things will pretty much be the same.

The main problem with philosophical arguments is that they don't end, it's like women yacking even if there's nothing possibly left to talk about. I wonder why there isn't any lingual-ectomy (tongue chopping off) complex in girls and tongue envy in boys, seriously. I'll definitely start that evolution with my off springs, can't wait to put my hands on them, oh c'mon don't take it in a wrong away. Recently, I learnt that women actually talk alot because it sub-conciously gives them oral pleasure, hmm.. it all makes sense to me now. May be it's more common in women who were close to their mothers when they were young.

To change or not to change?

We all talk about change, revolution and making all kinds of resolutions, but the question is, do we really want to change? Before we desire something we must know what it actually is, and then evaluate its pros and cons. One should see if what they're desiring is right for them, or if it is the right time. We must look at it's consequences before getting carried away by its temptation. So, first of all we must know what "change" is before we go further.

Change is anything that is different from you.

Our mental activity is heavily dependent on its sub-concious. Through years of conditioning, we become more vulrnerable to performing the tasks we have already performed regularly. This habitual process forms a mental clock which works through our memory all the time. It basically forms a routine of tasks that we daily perform. It is easier for the mind to retain and remember (re-call) something that has been done repeatedly. Hence, it becomes easier for us because it does not require any concious effort, which means we don't have to put all our focus and energy to perform a particular task unless we haven't done that before or in a long time because the mind is not used to it, so it takes time to adapt change. This proves how the mind is controlling the body physiologically and anatomically. Unconciously, we are aware of this phenomena, but haven't realized it conciously, because we don't bother to question ourselves. Why? Because again, we have programmed our mind in such a way and that's how the "lethargic" pattern continues. The more energy we posses, the less will power will be required to perform the new task.

Normally we do things out of attachment and not responsibility. It's because it is easier to do something that you're attached to or is of your personal interest, rather than doing it conciously. This process becomes our reflex, thus explains the origin and evolution of the "selfish" human nature and other instincts such as, muscular movement, emotions, etc, that have been passed on genetically and through social conditioning. These 'instincts' vary in different environment, culture or society. Change occurs naturally or manually.

Why do we desire change?

Desiring change is nothing but mere discontenment with the present moment, that's why our mind always escapes into the past or anticipates the future, because it is our basic instinct to 'think'. So, it's hard for us to live in the moment, because we're attached to the mechanism of thinking all the time, even if we hate it. We just can't help ourselves because it is sub-conciously giving us pleasure. It's just like any addiction. That's the reason why 'pain' occurs, because our mind resists or does not accept change until it gets used to it, and that's how the pain slowly goes away. Pain can be psychological or physiological, but it's our mind which is creating and sensing it. So, pain, anxiety, stress and depression are all manifestations of desiring change.

How can we change ourselves?

Just like animals we are attached to our typical routine and dont desire change unless we get bored of it. In our society we are dependent on material which keeps on changing from time to time, and that's what makes us different from other species. If other creatures start living in an environment with 'changing variety', then they will automatically act the same way. So in order to change ourselves, we must detach ourselves from our habits and addictions which are all material possessions. We can only change if we really want to.

Self-Experience

We are all the same, the only thing that makes us different from each other is our experiences, be it any form of Life (anything that exists in the Universe). We all have a purpose in this life, which has been designed by the Creator. We all are here for a reason , and during this time, we need to realize what are actual task is for which we have been sent on this beautiful planet. It's not competition, politics, hatred, jealousy, terrorism, war or business, it's simply serving nature, in a way God itself. This is something we all need to realize conciously by discovering ourselves and finally acting upon it. The path of self-discovery comes with experience . We all go through ups and downs in our lives, which is simply a wake up call from the Creator. Thus, when we get hurt, it is the time when we go through a period of self-realization, and it doesn't happen over night, it takes some time, which we gradually achive through our experiences.

Nothing is useless in this Universe, everything that exists is affecting us, our lives, nature, hence the universe itself. This is the ultimate plan of God, that has been made to run the system. This cosmic impact is known as "the domino effect.''

Thus when we experience everyone and everything, the entire universe within ourselves, we realize that nothing is bad, because we accept ourselves the way we are, hence Oneness takes birth.

Why I believe in God?

Once a friend of mine asked me, "Why do you believe in God?" and I replied, "Because I believe that there is someone who has created the universe. It's important to question ourselves, as we lead our lives blindly, following the norms. We never think "Why are we on Earth?" or "What's the purpose of our lives?" or "What is God?"

Now , let's discuss what God is. Most of us have this false image of God as an old man with a dunda (stick) or a golden pitch fork, but that's not what it's like. When we say that God is the Supreme Being, basically the word 'being' means consciousness or something that is alive. The word consciousness means aware-ness. So, God is that energy which is always aware, It is the observer. The entire Universe is made up of that Divine Energy. That pure energy does not have any gender just like your soul. God consciousness is simply innocence and love. It loves you unconditionally, doesn't matter what religion you belong to. God does not punish us, it's us who punish ourselves.

"There is nothing good or bad, there is only God."

We are all the same in the eyes of God, because we are It's creation , It's children. We all have the same energy within us, that's what makes us all one. That's what oneness of the Universe is all about. We are one with the God consciousness, it's just just a matter of realizing it, becoming aware and feeling connected and having a sense of belongingness with everything. You don't understand God, but experience it.

"Truth is not speculated but experienced, just like nectar, you don't need to understand how it tastes, but you drink it and experience it."

Life: An Escape Itself

In our lives, we are busy doing something all the time, no matter what; internally or externally. It might be constructive or destructive. If we observe our selves, there is always a mental unrest and the reason behind it is that our mind is always "pre-occupied" with different thoughts. These thoughts could be of any fear, desire, a task, complex, anything at all. Basically we all are looking for an "escape." This escape is basically our way to 'inner freedom' or 'peace of mind.' But we never achieve it, because these are all pleasures which turn into pain and make our lives miserable.

The human mind is always looking for more, because it has been programmed to stay busy all the time by default and we accept it as the truth un-conciously and believe that it's not in our control. Man always looks for what he does not have, and when he finally gets it, he loses the importance of it, and then looks for another thing. This is basically the cycle of dis-contentment that occurs in our minds all the time. It is a classical example of escape. That's why we have trouble living in the present, hence we are never happy, and are always miserable, looking for more all the time. Seeking pleasure is an escape for us humans to get out of all kinds of stress in the world. Basically it is the new oxygen, required to survive in today's time. When there is an escape, there is a desire to achieve something that gives us a sense of security.

Now, in order to experience stillness, we must observe our thoughts, and accept them non-judgmentally, just let them come, relax and realize that you are your mind, you're creating those thoughts. Once you've realized this, you focus on the present moment, and become the observer. This exercise keeps us connected and happy all the time, but the trick is to implement, which takes some time but slowly you get the hang of it and become one with the universe.

My journey begins...

5th February 2010

I begin my spiritual journey with this special note.

This morning, I questioned myself about my life, completely letting go off everything, with the urge to find a solution to my problems-a breakthrough to achieve my vision (to conquer my higher-self and serving the universe).
