Toly Moly Snail Cream Review

I bought this set in Korea last year and it was only recently I started to use. I was convinced to buy a set after seeing all the hype about "SNAIL" cream in Korea. You might be thinking "WHAT? SNAIL cream???" Did they kill the snails and make them into creams? To be actual, it should be snail mucus (slime) that they leave behind when they crawl. In fact, it has been a treatment that has been used since ancient greece and Korea is definitely not the first country to come out with this treatment. It was known snail extracts soothe, regnerate and heal skin. It could even delay aging! Sounds amazing right?

The cream was rather sticky when I first applied on my skin. However, it did make my skin glow after applying and cream was absorbed quickly. The eye cream felt rather more like a gel instead. It did not make much difference for the first week of trying. However, on the second week, I got a little breakout. So I believe this cream was quite rich for my skin. I bought the same set for my mother in law, it works great for her skin! She commented wrinkles around eye area were lesser and even pigmentation was lightened. WOW!!! After hearing what she fedback, I decided to continue though there was a slight breakout. Instead of applying it every day, I apply thinly once every two to three days now. My skin feels brighter, but it did not give amazing effect like what was shown at the Toly Moly Shop. My neck lines were lighter too and there wasn't any breakout.

Purbasari & Sumber Ayu Scrubs!!! I swear I love them!!!

It is a kind of traditional indonesia body scrub and I really love it because of the creamy texture combined with the grains inside. Slathering the creamy texture on my skin was really comfortable, not too drying nor oily. It removes the dead skin, leaving only smooth and fairer skin. Body acne is usually more difficult to get rid of than face pimples. For instance, a pimple on my face will take 3-5 days to heal, but a pimple on my body will take 2-3 weeks. Like most people, I hate acne!!!!

My skin is actually quite sensitive, even on my body. I get breakouts on my chest and back easily. The Body Shop Tea Tree Wash is perfect for a refreshing shower. It consist of tea tree oil properties and which is said to be good for blemishes. It has strong minty tea tree scent and it leaves a slight burning sensation when washing. Personally I feel this body wash works well for prevention of acne.

Murad Acne Body Wash will work, but you will only see effect at a later stage. I do not know whether is it because of my body skin, it seems to purge out more acne on my body when I first started using, maybe there is a detoxifying content inside?? Acne starts clearing after the 3rd weeks onwards. Result seems to be slow, but you get clear skin after purging all the acne out. Personally, I feel the price is a little bit on the high side and I don't really like the purging effect after all.

OVERALL VERDICT:
Zenmed Acne Body Wash is the best among all I have tried, though the price is abit on a high side for a body wash. I can see acne clearing up very fast within a week and this is one body wash that I will keep using to prevent body acne. What I like about this wash, it consists of ground walnut shells which can act as exfoliating effect on the body skin. Maybe because all the ingredients are made of natural herbs, it just makes me feel so safe for my skin. I am going to share with you some personal reviews on the treatment for acne scars that I have came across. Personally, I feel some people can get rid of their acne scars faster than the other. Depending on the severity, to get rid of the scars totally will probably take a very long time. All I can say most treatments in the market are believe to reduce the appearance of scars, making it not looking so obvious.

Obagi Blue Peel
Cost of Obagi Blue peel can range from $400-$700. It works by applying layer of the peel in 1 to 4. The whole process will probably take about 20-30 minutes. A blue hue will remain on the skin after the process is done. Skin will darken and start peeling in day 2, however some will start peel slightly later, especially for first timer. The downtime for obagi blue peel can last for as long as up to 10 days. The scary part of this treatment is you have to head straight home immediately after the treatment cause the skin will be red, swell and swollen is quite obvious. The effectiveness for scar reduction with about 5 times treatment is about 30% better than before. Better looking, glowing skin will be revealed each time after the peel. One thing I dislike about this treatment, downtime is too long and the redness on the face makes it difficult for one to go out.

Microdermabrasion
Cost of microdermabrasion can range from $40 to $200. It works by using a machine with adjustable suction to remove the outermost layer of the deadskin. I feel that this treatment will not show significant improvement for deep scars. It has no downtime and works great if you need an urgent face lift or boost to your skin. Makeup seems to stay better after the treatment. Great for giving skin radiance and can use this treatment as maintenance purpose. Depending on what kind of laser skin resurfacing treatment that you are going, downtime can be from 0 day to 7days. You should be able to see improvements after the 3rd treatment. It is effective, but really too expensive for most people.

Yogurt Mask

Plain yogurt mask. A very good natural skin smoother which is cheap, good and easy. The zinc on the yogurt can help to calm down red zits and shrink your pores. Just spread the plain yogurt over your face and leave it for 15-20mins. Rinse afterwards, follow by tone and moisturize.

Egg White Mask

Want to get rid of your acne spots and have firming effect at the same time? Separate the egg white from the yolk.
