It seems nearly impossible to imagine the Ravens without Ray Lewis, that has anchored Baltimore's renowned defense ever since the team has been around since.

For 17 years, Lewis has been stalking opposing quarterbacks and running backs. He inspired his teammates with emotional speeches, proudly donned his No. 52 jersey on Sunday afternoons and did all things in his capacity to help Baltimore win.

Soon, everything are only a memory. In a stunning announcement Wednesday, the two-time AP Opponent of the season said he'll retire following the Ravens complete their 2013 playoff run.

"It caught me by surprise, because we all thought the truly amazing Ray Lewis was going to play forever," Baltimore outside linebacker Terrell Suggs said. "I thought he was going to surpass Favre fined but still be out there doing the work well into his 40s. He let us know the sun is setting on his career. It's amazing and it's sad, all simultaneously."

When Lewis gathered his teammates together Wednesday morning, nobody were built with a clue what he was about to inform them.

"Everything that starts comes with an end," the 37-year-old Lewis said. "For me, today, I told my team this will be my last ride."

Madonna showed her support of a little girl by dedicating a song for her and performing a striptease at her Wednesday, October 10 concert in Los Angeles. The singer took her clothes off one by one as she sang "Human Nature" for 14-year-old Pakistani girl named Malala Yousafzai who got shot in the head by a Taliban soldier but is still fighting for her life.

As a result of her controversial act, Madonna has received harsh criticism on Twitter. "Not the right way to pay Homage to Brave Malala. Its a way to earn cheap self popularity," one person tweeted. Another wrote, "Does Madonna understand how stupid and offensive cavorting in her bra on behalf of Malala Yousafzai is? The Taliban will love it."

He passed away just before 1 a.m. Saturday in Biloxi, Miss., according to reports.

In addition to leading roles in three TV series, Collins appeared on hit shows such as Perry Mason, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Love Boat and Charlie's Angels.

He went on to host Hour Magazine - for which he won an Emmy - and The Home Show.

Collins also hosted the Miss America Pageant from 1982-1990.

Collins married Miss America Mary Ann Mobley in 1967. They separated in 2011 and have one daughter together. He has two other children from his previous marriage.

In honour of the late Whitney Houston a tribute concert will be recorded at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. on 11th October.

Usher, Celine Dion and Jennifer Hudson, amongst others, will come together in a one-hour We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute To Whitney Houston concert in memory of the singing legend.

The concert will be aired on CBS a week later showing a selection of artists who will pay their respects through song as well as a look back at Whitney’s successful career.

As a two-part special, a press release by Lifetime announced, Remembering Whitney will air on the 17TH October which will precede the upcoming Lifetime reality series The Houstons: On Our Own. The reality show will be 14 episodes focusing on Whitney Houston’s 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina and Cissy amongst other family and friends.

Her tribute concert will come just a month before the anniversary of the iconic vocalist’s death. She tragically passed away on 11th February this year on the eve of the 54th Grammy Awards. It appeared a few weeks later that her death was due to an 'accidental drowning'.

During her lifetime Whitney won six Grammy awards and graced the stages of the programme eight times. It is undeniable that with a cataclysmic career, selling well over 170 million singles, albums and videos, it be only fitting that the Recording Academy produce the CBS special.

Katherine Jackson Granted Co-Guardianship of Michael Jackson's Kids

As expected, Katherine Jackson and her grandson T.J. Jackson will share guardianship of the Michael Jackson's three children.

The mother of the late King of Pop was reinstated as temporary co-guardian of Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10, by Judge Mitchell Bleckloff in a hearing in Los Angeles on Thursday, Radar Online reports.

"It's clear that the kids love Mrs. Jackson and they are very well taken care of," Judge Beckloff said. "They also love T.J. Jackson, and Mrs. Jackson is doing a terrific job with the children.

Katherine, 82, lost guardianship on last Wednesday after she temporary left her family for a retreat to Miraval Resort & Spa in Arizona. The judge appointed Tito Jackson's 34-year-old son T.J. as temporary guardian of his three younger cousins -- and he was also tasked with managing their their $70,000-a-month allowance.

"I am devastated that while I've been away, my grandchildren have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home," their grandmother told ABC News last Wednesday.

The vampire-playing "Twilight" stars began talking again last weekend after Stewart sent a barrage of tearful texts and calls his way, People magazine reported Wednesday.

Kim filed for divorce just 72 days after she married NBA star Kris, citing irreconcilable differences, while Kris filed for an annulment on the bases of fraud. As soon as news of the divorce surfaced, there were allegations that Kim only wed Chris for money publicity something she strongly denied in a statement. She said at the time,.

First and foremost, I married for love. I cant believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision..
