Nintendo fan must be happy to hear this. Nintendo is the console king for 2007, coz with their Nintendo Wii and thanks to NDS they win the console war. Chek this news from Yahoo.com : Nintendo was the biggest winner last year according to NPD. The company had the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in hardware sales in terms of shipments with the portable DS, 8.5 million units, and the Wii console, 6.29 million units. Microsoft shipped 4.62 million units of the Xbox 360 to come in third.

Sony shipped 3.97 million units of the PlayStation 2, which outsold the PlayStation 3, 2.56 million units. "Given the breadth of available content and the price point of the PS2, it's a mass market friendly choice and will continue to be an important part of the games ecosystem for several years," Frazier said. The PlayStation Portable fell just behind the PlayStation 2 with 3.82 million units.

From the news above, we can see that Nintendo have a good strategy to win the console war, while Sony left behind by their competitor. The only one that can make Sony relieved is their Playstation2 console. Playstation2 console still outsold the Playstation3, i think this is because PS3 still expensive, altough they already cut the price $100, it's still expensive especially for people that live in Southeast Asia, or other developing country.

Can Xbox 360 Falcon fix the 3RLLOD problem?

Have you already bought Xbox360 lately. If the answer is yes then Xbox360 that you bought have a new technology that is an 65nm. You must be ask " what is 65nm technology ?" well that number is a number for measurement for silicon production. When Xbox released on the market, they still using 90nm technology, and this technology was new at year 2005. But power that released from that technology sometime made Xbox360 have the overheat problem or known with 3RLLOD. And now with new technology, Microsoft can make the same chip but with cheaper cost, cooler, and much power saved.

With this new technology, Xbox360 power consumption is abated and heat that yielded is abated too. But is this new technology solved the Xbox360 problem? well if you say that the problem is solved that is wrong, more precisely they only reduce the posibility that Xbox360 will get the 3RLLOD problem again. Why i know that, well because lately there is some news from my country that someone in my country that buy Xbox360 Falcon still get the 3RLLOD problem. It seems we have to wait much longer to get Xbox360 that free from the 3RLLOD problem.

Sega Dreamcast 2 ?

You must be know it from the post title and ask if it true. Well that was the issue i heardabout Sega. Sega was patented their Dreamcast trademark in US Patent and Trademark Office's Trademark Applications and Registrations Retrieval ( TARR ). On that patent they described Dreamcast as " Home video game machine; player-operated electronic controllers for electronic video game machines; video game interactive controller; namely, hand held pads, and floor pads or mats; joysticks for video games; computer cursor control devices, namely, computer mouse; flash memory cards; video game software, computer game programs".

But some side got something interesting: the original Dreamcast doesn't have floor mat accessories and Dreamcast doesn't have flash memory card. This make some speculation that Sega will be enlivening the console war and preparing the Sega Dreamcast2.

To give a satisfied service for their consumer and growing their business at the same time, SCEA decided to open Playstation store for PC. That feature is a service center where PSP owner can get many game, demo, theme, and also a video clip from a game with free download or buy it. But you need to joint in first as a member, and make an account. If you want to buy virtual wallet, yes you can do something like that. It seems Sony want to give PSP owner that dont have PS3 a good service.

Service content usually is about new game that will be updated routine. And those store also offering many classic game for PSone like WipeOut, Crash Bandicot, etc. File's that has been downloaded can be transfered from PC to PSP with using Playstation Network Downloader software and USB connection. So what do you think? it's good news doesn't it?

There is good news for you Playstation3 fan, yup i'm not lying to you. All of you must be know aout multimedia player called DIVX don't you. Usually DIVX only found for PC only. In multimedia business PC is number one, coz it have all tools or software for multimedia. Then what about console, well console have it too especially the next-gen console like PS3, and Xbox360. But there is some lack for PS3. PS3 doesn't have video pack feature.

And some of you maybe hope for DIVX in your console. Well your dreams is about come true. Lately there is some news told that Sony joint cooperation with the company that make DIVX, to make video codec feature for PS3. According to some information that i got, DIVX decoding support will be implemented via software update that will be launched sooner.

FIFA versus Winning ( PES ) which one is the best soccer game, well let’s discuss this. I will discuss the cool factor and uncool factor from both game.

· Winning ( PES ) 2008 cool factor :

First the ability of each player is realy on top priority in this game. Like if you change sideback status of a player from middle to high than he will run fastest than usually. Or when you set teamwork from defensive midfielder to high, then he will always near the player that always give you an accurate crossing.

Second is a 3 new feature in Master League. Start from layout changes that make it better, 20 team added in lower division, and popularity point for team and the player. So if your team have player with high point, it will attract other potential player to join your team.

· FIFA ’08 cool factor :

Responsife control, not like FIFA ’07, FIFA ’08 control is more responsife. More realistic than Winning ( PES ) 2008, just look at one of the player face, in FIFA ’08 the player face is not much different than the real one. Game speed is more fastest than Winning ( PES ) 2008.

· Winning ( PES ) 2008 un-cool factor :

Winning game speed is not fast enough, even if the framerate is increasing during the game played, but the speed during the game is not different than before.

Whether all new feature that had been added by Konami in Winning 2008 can make WE Pro Evo 2008 become the best soccer game of this year, or not is up to you. Proof it yourself.

Lately there is some socking news coming from Sony. Well just read this, Sony chairman, Howard Stringer said, "We've some catching up to do...", "I'm happy the Wii seems to be running a bit short of hardware. The PlayStation 3 will come into its own because its (high-end games) are infinitely more fun, demanding and exciting. The question people quite rightly asked was if the PS3 was going to get through this early cycle. I feel much more confident about that now." It's was over convidence don't you think so. And i think Sony is over convidence, why because you know already that Nintendo still dominated the market until now. Do you know why they are dominating the market, cause their game is much more interesting to play. It's true that Nintendo Wii technology in this case is the graphic quality is under Xbox360 and PS3, but to me i play a game is not only because it has a good graphic but also it has a good gameplay. I would rather play a game that have a good gameplay than a game than only has a good graphic but the gameplay quality is worst.

Tomorrow Playstation3 may be can be the number one in console war. But for now, no i don't think they will be number one in console war. Playstation3 price still expensive and only have a small number of good quality game that launched make PS3 position left behind.

Can Playstation3 Chase Nintendo Wii

Lately there is news that PS3 chase Wii in Japan. I think this is because Sony strategy. You know lately Sony decided to cut PS3 60GB price, and they will launch the 40GB PS3 too. And alot of good games launched for PS3 is one of the reason PS3 can chase Wii in Japan. Reuters reported that, the next generation console made by Sony ( PS3) succeed chasing it's fact of having fallen behind by Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Xbox360 in Japan. Microsoft on the other hand have to face the fact that they now left behind by Sony.

But don't forget that it's only happened on Japan. Then how about on the other country? or how about the whole console sales? well they still left behind compared to Nintendo or Microsoft. It's because PS3 price still expensive, especially on the developing countries, like countries in South East Asia. I hope Sony reduce the PS3 price until $400. For now i still love to play Nintendo Wii and Xbox360. But may be someday Sony with their PS3 will be number one again.

I guest all of you already know that Hironobu Sakaguchi was out from SquareEnix. And now after he decided to out from SquareEnix, he make a new RPG, it’s showing that he’s not finished yet. Lost Odyssey is the first RPG game that he made after he out from Square, and I think it will be a good quality cause it made by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and we know that Hironobu is a master of RPG maker since he make Final Fantasy for Square. And according to some information that I got this game will be present in 4 pieces of Dual Layer DVD, so imagine how long it gona take to finish this game.

One of the feature that most considered in this game is the story line that interesting to follow. The developer Mistwalker is working together with a knownly Japan novelis that is Kiyoshi Shigematsu who write the story. Lost Odyssey told us about the story of a young man, his name is Kaim Argonar, one of the member of immortal clan that live more than 1000 years. We can follow the main character life on every generation and follow important event in his life. Especially when he in an era where the world is in chaos because the three great kingdom is at war, and Kaim is in the middle of that war. You will playing as Kaim to stop the war, so the world is in peace again.

One of the feature that become Sony dream when working on Playstation 3 is the capability to get access to all content that contained on the console when and where ever we want. Although this sound like just a dream, especially when PS3 is not in good position, but Sony seems succeed to actualized their dream. And all you need is just a PSP!! This matter is possible because updated Firmware is launched for PS3 some time ago, and now PSP can use as a remote to turn on PS3.

The good news is you can do this in Wi-Fi hotspot in all over the world. So now you can access to all content that belongs to your console like movie, music, or picture album. Awesome!! Although the first software can do this feature too, but is not effective like remote access only accessed when your PS3 is already turn on. Something that make us interested is because this remote access feature not only can be used for media but can be used as controller for Playstation3.

We already know some game that has been made into a movie like Tomb Rider, Final Fantasy, etc. And Hitman is one of them. I'm sure that for you who are the massive fan of the game will enthusiastically greed the Hitman movie.

Hitman is video game franchise available on PC as well as several video game consoles. The games revolve around Agent 47, an assassin for hire, whose flawless record places him in high demand amongst the wealthy and elite. Hitman series like Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money.

Back to the topic as you already know Hitman is a good game but lets not forget the fact that so many game that has been made into a movie was not succesfully take the heart of moviegoer. Just like Final Fantasy case, yup you were not forgot were you? Final Fantasy the movie have a bad story, different from the game that have a good one.

A Hitman film adaptation was released on November 21, 2007 in US, with Timothy Olyphant playing the role of Agent 47. The story plot is when Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) is ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the military of Russia. When one of Agent 47's assassinations is botched, 47 sets out to find out who set him up. Along the way he encounters numerous other hit men assigned to take 47 out.

The console price reduction still going on till next year

Entering year-end vacation season, Michael Pachter, a analyst of Wedbush Morgan, predicted that tren degradation of console price will still going on till next year springtime.

Pachter say that though sale of console of nextgen not as hilarious as in year 2002, in a few last month have seen some indication that the console sale will be increased because many reduction of price as well as cool games like Halo 3. US version or Japan version ?

Wii success on market is undeniable. The new generation console from Nintendo that can surpass PS3 and Xbox360 that far more better in hardware specification. But hardware is not everything, there is more important matter, that is price and fun factor for the player. As one of the revolutioner console, Wii can implicate variety of soriety. Not only children and teenager, but also old people or mature, even grandfather and grandmother interested to play it. It’s not a secret anymore that a problem often appear when a console is released in market. Not only PS3 and Xbox360 that have a problem, but Wii also got a problem. Wii problem lie in the region with varying of modchip. Many time, when people buy a console game they confuse what region of the console that they want to buy, Japanese or US version. Especially when the two of them have different price and the different is almost $100. I will explain it one by one in this article.

First is the game differential. Like all we know, that there is a game that cannot be played in Japanese version of Wii. This is because of the different region, unfortunately some country ( be side Japan and US ) only have either US region or Japanese region on their market.

Language different. For they who can understand Japanese language, I suggest to buy Japan version of Wii, because the Japan version is much cheaper than US version. For they who lived in country be side Japan and US, I suggest to buy US version because US version have great quantities in global market.

A good news for Playstation3 player, Sony and Konami confirms that MGS4 just for Playstation3. Seen from the new trailer i belive many gamer will like PS3 alot. A bad news for Xbox users, because seen from the trailer its has a smooth graphics and there is also a new sneaking suits for Snake. Although its setting seen more modernly but main function of sneaking suit here still give camouflage ability. Snake can be equipped with OctoCamo. OctoCamo is a device that can capture data situation of the area, so when an enemy come OctoCamo can show that enemy is coming and show where is the enemy position.
