റോഷന്‍ ആന്‍ഡ്രൂസ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യാനിരുന്ന മുംബൈ പൊലീസില്‍ നിന്നും പൃഥ്വിരാജ് പുറത്തായെന്ന വാര്‍ത്ത മലയാള സിനിമാലോകത്ത് കാര്യമായ ചലനങ്ങള്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരുന്നു. പ്രൊജക്ട് പൃഥ്വി ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതാണെന്നും അതല്ല, സംവിധായകന്‍ പൃഥ്വിയെ ഒഴിവാക്കിയതാണെന്നും ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് വാര്‍ത്തകള്‍ വന്നു. ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ പൃഥ്വിയും റോഷന്‍ ആന്‍ഡ്രൂസും തങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗം ന്യായീകരിച്ച് രംഗത്തെത്തിയതോടെ ഇവര്‍ പിണക്കത്തിലാണെന്നും ശ്രുതിയുണ്ടായി.എന്നാലിപ്പോള്‍ പൃഥ്വിയുമായി യാതൊരു പ്രശ്‌നവുമില്ലെന്നാണ് റോഷന്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇത്തരം അഭ്യൂഹങ്ങള്‍ പരത്തിയത് മാധ്യമങ്ങളാണെന്നും സംവിധായകന്‍ പറയുന്നു.

കാസനോവയുടെ ഷൂട്ടിങ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കുന്നതിന്റെ തിരക്കിലായിരുന്നു താന്‍. പൃഥ്വി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജോലികളിലും മുഴുകി. അതാണ് മുംബൈ പൊലീസിനെ വൈകിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ യാതൊരു അകല്‍ച്ചയുമില്ല, കാസനോവയുടെ റിലീസിന് ശേഷം പൃഥ്വിയെ നായകനാക്കി മുംബൈ പൊലീസ് ആരംഭിയ്ക്കും-റോഷന്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.ഒരു വര്‍ഷം മുമ്പ് കൊച്ചിയില്‍ നടന്ന വന്‍ ചടങ്ങിലാണ് റോഷനും പൃഥ്വിയും മുംബൈ പൊലീസ് അനൗണ്‍സ് ചെയ്തത്. ബോബി-സഞ്ജയ് ടീം ഒരുക്കിയ തിരക്കഥയില്‍ പൃഥ്വിയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പം ആര്യയും നായകനാവുമെന്ന് അന്ന് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുകള്‍ വന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ റോഷനും പൃഥ്വിയും തിരക്കുകളിലകപ്പെട്ടതോടെ മുംബൈ പൊലീസ് അനന്തമായി നീളുകയായിരുന്നു.
