In the Beginning...

A few years ago a therapist told me a way to cope with things that I am dealing with is to write them down.

So I did. And it helped.

A great deal of issues were resolved.

Then I started writing other things, cute tales about life and my history. I wanted to share my stories but I wanted to maintain a certain amount of privacy. I will tell you everything I know but I still wanted to protect myself. I wanted to protect my husband and my girls mostly. They are the most important people in my life. I came up with a new personality called Nadine. That was really the easy part because Jim calls me Nadine anyway. I could use Nadine to tell my stories and not worry about family interfering or getting their panties in a wad.

There are people that I am related to that are embarrassed by me and my shenanigans. And I don't need that!

But what I did need was a feeling of family, an involvement with others and not just Jim. As Nadine I could do that without judgment.

Where am I going with this you ask?

Patience, Grasshopper. I am related to Fred Plumer, I tell stories and am long winded. I want to share the stories I wrote with the rest of the interweb. I want to share them with my girls and grandkids. Maybe those that don't know me will come to understand why I refer to this odd life of mine the Church of The Holy Robin.

Then again maybe not.
