China has few actual camping facilities as many prefer to trek across the country and pitch a tent in extremely rural locations to explore and see some of the many hidden China attractions that few get to see. The country has regulations concerning camping and recommends guests find locally recommended areas. Local camping clubs generally meet weekly and may provide invaluable information regarding approved sites and locations. Some facilities cater to RVs only.

Longmen Camping Resort-Taiwan

Encompassing 37 hectares along the scenic Shuangxi River, the facility regularly accommodates over 1500 campers. The location offers automobile, grass and wooden platform campsites, some of which have roofs. The massive resort features a restaurant, swimming pool and modern bathroom facilities with showers. The family friendly location also has a bike trail that takes guests on a 40 minute journey that includes a suspension bridge over the river.

Yangshou Mountain Retreat

Though actually a hotel resort, the facility has rural camp sites along the river and in the hills around the property. The facility offers equipment rentals requiring that guests only arrive with a backpack and sleeping bag. The hotel features a restaurant and may allow guests use of the hotel facilities. The stunning scenery around the facility provides the perfect opportunity for exploration. The natural local terrain includes the river, mountains and caves.

Moon Bay Camp Centre

Located 50 km from downtown Sanya on Hainan Island, Sanya Park offers varying levels of camping opportunities. Guests often rent fully equipped campers, tents with bedding or cottages having kitchens, bathrooms and TV. The centre has public bathroom and shower facilities, along with a restaurant. Site options on the property include the beautiful beachfront.

Whether you are touring China Attractions with the love of your life, or, on a business trip, you have just met the love of your life, the number one romantic restaurant getaway in Beijing is The Courtyard. Eat at The Courtyard and you and your love will fall under the spell of China, helped by a spectacular wine list, with close to six hundred internationally culled selections. The “Wine Spectator Restaurant Award of Excellence” has acknowledged The Courtyard’s wine list annually beginning in 2002. Housed in a structure from the Qing Dynasty, the CourtYard’s architecture integrates the best of East and West. Be certain to reserve a table in “CourtYard Upstairs,” a private room which affords a spectacular view of the Forbidden City.

Have you ever wanted to go on an adventure? Now is the perfect time! By booking a trip through KE Adventure, you can embark upon the adventure of a lifetime through China. KE Adventure offers three exciting packages, centered around hiking and climbing. The Kawa Karpo Pilgrimage, for example, is a 19 day trek through the eastern end of the Himalayas, which wanders through several secluded Tibetan villages. KE Adventure’s tours range in price from $2012 AUD to $6291 AUD, which includes translators, meals, and accommodation. The difficulty of KE Adventure’s tours ranges from moderate to strenuous.

If KE Adventure doesn’t have anything for you, China Holidays have many different Adventure Tours that could be better suited to you. They offer a much broader range of tours, including Great Wall hiking, biking, skiing, self-driving, and horseback riding trips. Most tours are between $980 AUD and $2938 AUD, and China Adventure Tours offers prices with and without airfare, which allows you to shop around for a lower rate. Trips range from 3 days to 3 weeks, and have difficulty levels from low to strenuous. Cheap domestic flights are also available once you are in China, so you should look for these upon arriving if you need to fly to your tour destination.

Each person has their own idea of an adventure, and planning your own trip may be the way to go. If you don’t like the idea of a set itinerary, ChinaClimb may be the company for you. They offer both tours and simple guidance, and can be a great option for the adventurer who would rather stay off the beaten path.

Hong Kong is an incredible metropolis, full of both western and eastern landmarks and heritage. For many people, shopping is the highlight of their trip to the city. In this city of incredible wealth there are countless opportunities to spend money, but also many great places to shop for bargains. The currency is the Hong Kong dollar, although many stores will happily accept Chinese RMB in its stead.

For people heading to China Hong Kong Holidays are the best to buy electronics, there are innumerable places to shop for the newest and most technologically advanced items. If you often visit sites such as lovemoney.com to find money-saving tips, then you’re sure to be impressed by all the bargains on offer when shopping in China. Try one of the malls for bigger brand names, or visit the computer centres Wanchai, Mong Kok, or Sham Shui Po for wider selection and much cheaper deals. Antiques and specialty art products are found on Hollywood Road, full of art galleries.

Hong Kong has an incredible selection of clothing shops. The emphasis is certainly on designer and upscale brands, with the IFC and Pacific Place Malls being favorites of fashionistas. There you can find anything from Versace to Gucci to Dolce and Gabbana, although there are a few cheaper stores in between as well. Thanks to high rent in these locations, prices tend to be higher. The further you head away from Central district, the cheaper items will be. You will find an outlet mall in Tung Chung selling name brand fashions at steep discounts, or for even cheaper deals head to Temple Street. Located in Mong Kok, Temple Street is full of vendors selling clothing at rock bottom prices right on the road.

The Forbidden City is the largest, best preserved group of palaces in China. This historic museum has nearly one million cultural relics, 9,999 rooms and hundreds of galleries displaying the imperial treasure.

Twenty-four emperors ruled in the Forbidden City until 1911 when the Qing dynasty fell. The Forbidden City was first constructed in the fourth year of the reign of Emperor Yongle in 1406, in the exact center of the ancient city of Beijing. The Forbidden City occupies an area of 720,000 square meters, making it the largest structure of palaces on the planet.

For security purposes, the Forbidden City is enclosed by a 10 meter high wall. Each corner of the Forbidden City boasts a magnificent watchtower, used in the past to guard the palaces. Most tourists enter through the Forbidden City through Tian’anmen, the Gate of Heavenly Peace, which leads to the main entrance of the palace, Wumen, or the Meridian Gate.

The Forbidden City has two main parts, the outer court and the inner palaces. The outer court is made up of three main buildings, the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony and the Hall of Preserving Harmony. The inner court is composed of the three main structures, the Palace of Heavenly Peace, the Palace of Union and Peace and the Palace of Terrestrial Tranquility.
