Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen

2014-06-10T10:39:00.001-04:00

I recently was given the opportunity to be a BzzAgent for Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen. I gotta say I was excited to try these new sunscreens. I have the hardest time with sunscreen. The usual lotions are so hard to get rubbed in all the way especially on a four year old who just wants to go play! And the sprays smell so bad!

This new CLEARLYSheer sunscreen from Coppertone is perfect . It’s light weight , easily rubbed in and smells nice and fresh. My only criticism is I hate putting all the chemicals on my daughter and on myself!

I love the different options Coppertone gives us in its CLEARLYSheer line.

CLEARLYSheer for sunny days is perfect for good old regular days. Lightweight and sheer it is great for under makeup.
CLEARLYSheer sunscreens for beach and pool are also light weight and water resistant for 80 minutes.

*As a BzzAgent I received samples and coupons to share.

*RUN to Target!!**

2014-04-19T13:30:00.001-04:00

There a really good deal going on at Target right now on Paper Towels and Toilet Paper . Text the word BATH to 827438 for a mobile coupon save $10 off of $25 purchase of toilet paper or paper towels. This coupon does not expire until 4-26-2014 BUT there is a P&G gift card deal that ends today that makes this a great stock up opportunity. Buy three select P&G products receive a $10 gift card. Here is what I did.

Used (3) $1.00 off Bounty Duratowel HERE (zip code 77477)

and mobile coupon $10 off $25

Received $10 gift card

These are normally $12.99 each !

Charmin is also participating item and there is a $1 coupon on coupons.com but we are stocked on TP. I was thinking about going and getting some more paper towels but I doubt I will have time.

Target Deals :)

2014-04-14T23:21:00.001-04:00

Target had an amazing coupon in their ad this week. $10 off when you spend $50 or more in grocery . The wonderful thing about this coupon is the total just needs to be $50 before coupons, so if you had the right coupons you could come out with a lot of groceries for next to nothing! Unfortunately all the really amazing deals was stuff we do not eat or I did not have coupons for. But please check out TotallyTarget . She has some really great match ups over there.

When I first looked at the ad I noticed the Annie’s Homegrown bunny grahams and Honest Kids Juice on sale . My brain immediately went to how can I use the $10 off $50 coupon to stock up on snacks for lily and not spend much money. I spent way to much time Sunday trying to figure it out…too much time. Eventually I came up with a plan and went to the store. I came out of the store spending more money but with better quality items.

All Target coupons are located HERE

and go here to learn about Target Cartwheel Coupons.

The great thing about Target is you can stack coupons, you can use a Target Coupon and a Manufacturers coupon & A cartwheel coupon all on one item. An example would be let say you have a box of cereal. You have a $1 off one box manufacturers coupon & a $.50 off one box Target coupon PLUS there is a 10% one box Cartwheel coupon. You can use them all!

This was not the best deal especially now see how she rang me up twice for eggs and also just noticed one of my cereals rang up wrong < not sure how that happened when I got the same ones? Since I am just noticing it and its only like a dollar difference I will just forget about it. I also used a $5 gift card I had from another past week to bring my out of pocket down. Im happy with this trip because some of it was Easter stuff and I was able to get the snacks I like for Lily to have relatively cheap.

Try to hand the $10 off $50 coupon to the cashier first, I always put those kind on top of my coupon pile.

A year...

2014-03-18T14:12:00.002-04:00

Its been a year since my last post...I had no idea it had been that long. Life has gotten so busy I rarely have a moment to myself. Recently I have decided that has to change. I love my family and I love being with them , but I have HAVE to find time for myself...if not i will lose who I am. Therefore I am going to make sure I set time aside so that I can do things I love and things I need for myself. Im desperately trying to find time for exercise and for my hobbies and I hope to keep up with the blog again. So lets do this! :)

~Kroger CARBmaster & Greek yogurt review~

2013-03-19T12:01:00.001-04:00

As a BzzAgent one of my newest campaigns was an opportunity to try out Kroger’s exclusive line of CARBmaster yogurts and milk drinks. CARBmaster yogurts are are lower in carbs, calories and sugar than regular yogurt. I was very surprised with the wide variety of flavors available in the CARBmaster line. I am very traditional in the sense that I really only like strawberry & vanilla yogurt but I ventured out and tried a Kroger CARBmaster carrot cake yogurt. I LOVE carrot cake and was happy that to have an alternative to the unhealthy desert. Overall the taste is exactly like carrot cake, but the spice flavor was a little to overpowering.

I also was given the opportunity to try Kroger’s Greek yogurt with 14 grams of protein I was excited to try my first Greek yogurt. It also comes in a wide variety of flavors. I picked up some blueberry, vanilla, and plain. I tried a vanilla and I was NOT a fan. I have never had Greek yogurt before and the texture is not really for me. It also had a bad aftertaste I couldn’t get past. Honestly I couldn’t even finish it. My daughter insisted on having one herself. I let her try vanilla first , she gobbled it up the first few bites. Then she said “Ew, when I put it in my mouth it leaves an icky taste “ She also tried the blueberry and ate a few bites and then had the same reaction. I have some left but I think I will save those for smoothies.

Im still waiting to try the CARBmaster milk drinks ! If you are on a diet or looking to eat healthy. Try the Kroger exclusive line of CARBmaster yogurt and Kroger Greek yogurt.

~MorningStar turns boring into fantastic~

2013-01-30T15:32:00.001-05:00

As a BzzAgent I was given the opportunity to try MorningStar products. I was excited to be given this opportunity , I have tried their corn dogs before and was pleasantly surprised. I love the idea of meatless Monday. So this past week we planned ours.

We decided to try the MorningStar Crumbles. I fixed up our typical spaghetti and added the crumbles to the sauce. This turned out beautifully. I gotta say this was the most exciting spaghetti we have had in awhile! Usually spaghetti is a last minute decision because its easy and its always in the pantry . Adding the crumbles we may actually look forward to spaghetti night. Going meatless is much harder on my husband then for me. I am not a meat lover I could do without and be perfectly happy. Using Morningstar products is a perfect compromise , he thinks he is getting his meat and I know I am not :) Even my super picky Lily who NEVER eats spaghetti LOVED it. She kept asking for more sauce.

This whole meal is also very cheap. Under $9 to feed 2 adults, a 3 year old plus leftovers for the week and that would be without coupons! MorningStar products are included in the Kroger mega sale this week so go stock up! I did!

*I am a BzzAgent I received coupons for my honest opinion as part of a word of mouth campaign.*
