How to Fix a Failed Linksys Wireless Router

Setting up a Wireless network is one of the ways to extend your Internet connection to computers in other parts of your house (ps3, xbox..). Sometimes, however, the default instructions for setting up the Linksys Wireless Router may not work. When that happens, you can fix a failed router set up by following these steps.

You'll Need

Linksys wireless router

Windows XP computer connected to a DSL modem

Browser software

Internet access

Category 5 network cables

On The Router

1-Turn on the router, then use a pencil to press and hold the reset button on the back for 30 seconds.

2-Unplug the router's power cord and wait for 1 minute, then plug it in again.

3-Find the cable that connects the computer to the DSL modem. Unplug the modem and connect the computer to port 1 of the router.

Set-up the Router

1-Go to the desktop and launch a web browser. You're going to have to go to the inline configuration panel for the setup.

2-Type "http://192.168.1.1" into the address bar and click "Go." A login window will appear.

3-Skip user name and type "admin" (admin is the default password) as the password, and click "OK."

4-Click on the "MAC Address Clone" sub tab and select "Clone your PC's MAC". Save the settings. This may take a minute or so.

5-Go back to the "Basic Setup" tab and look for the LAN IP, which is 192.168.1.1.

6-Change the IP address to 192.168.2.1 then save the settings.

7-Shut down the computer and router for 2 minutes, then turn both back on.

1-Connect the DSL modem to the Internet port of the Linksys router.

2-Shut down the DSL modem, Linksys router and computer, and wait 3 minutes.

3-Turn on the DSL modem and wait for it to stabilize.

4-Turn on the router once the modem has stabilized, then turn on the computer.

How to Copy DVD with VLC media

VLC 1.0 has gotten several cool new features, one of which is the ability to record what is playing in the screen. Here we will take a look at how easy it is to record a DVD or other video formats using VLC.

Record Using VLC

You won’t see the record button in the default view so we need to make it available in the control panel by going to View and selecting Advanced Controls.

Now you can see the Record button along with a couple other handy controls like snapshot and looping.

Now when you start up a DVD or other video simply click on the record button and hit is a second time to end the recording.

While it is recording notice that the record button will be blue.

The recorded video is in MPEG format and stored them in the Documents folder labeled as VLC Record with the date and time.

This is a great way to save entire movies or specific scenes you want to watch later on your hard drive.

Of course VLC won’t burn the recorded MPEG file to DVD but you can certainly use other programs for that. This is a much different process than “ripping” and you will need to play the video while it records.

How to download Japanese Demos/Create Jap PSN account

This tutorial will teach you how to create a step-by-step Japanese PSN account so you can download

Japan game demos on your PS3 (for those who cant read the language).

First up, under “Users” on the XMB, create a new user (I called mine McJapan, for ease). Once that’s created, sign in and zoom over to Friends and choose “Sign up Network ID”.

The first step will take you straight into the strange and confusing land of Japanese. Set your country to Japan, and then a date of birth that would make you 18, or older.

This screen asks you if you want a sub or master account. Make sure you choose Master or it won’t work.

Accept these terms and conditions. (Buttons on the PS3 are always Decline/Accept, No/Yes etc, with the positive action on the right.)

This page asks for an email address (must be different to your american or whatever account you have), two of the same password (must be over 6 characters, have no more than 2 of one letter or number and must include both letters and numbers).

The final box is your secret question and answer.

Now enter your PSN ID, which is pretty much your GamerTag.

No idea what this page is asking for, but it is likely to be preferences/gender etc. Fill each box with a random word (I did them all as “Japan”) and select either radio button at the bottom.

This is your address. The first box contains 3 numbers (123), the second is a drop down box of

something or other. Choose the first three character option in the list. The last four text boxes are your address, so fill them with random words again (Once again, I just repeated the word Japan)

This then asks if you want to put some money in your Playstation Wallet. Choose the second option (No), otherwise you’ll have a bunch of boxes to fill in.

There is one last page, which has a single checkbox. Don’t check it, and move on. If you are given

more forms after this, you can quit out by pressing the PS button.

Then log in with your email and password, and go to the Playstation Store!

How to connect PS3 to PC speakers

This tutorial will guide you though on how to connect your PS3 to your computer speakers (for those who have their PS3's connected to PC monitor).

Equipment Needed:

● AV Cable from the PS3, this is the same thing that the PS2 used to connect up to your TV, it has a yellow, white and red end, though you will only be using the white and red. This is

supplied with both the PS3 and PS2 so you will definitely have one of these.

● RCA to 3.5mm adapter, it's quite hard/impossible to find adapters that go from a female RCA input to a female 3.5mm output that you can plug your speakers straight into, so you're going to

need another piece of equipment. This adapter will take the white and red ends of the AV cable

(the one connected to your PS3) and magically turn it into a stereo 3.5mm male end, the end will look the same as the end of your desktop speakers cable.

● 3.5mm coupler, the final bit of equipment will provide you with something to stick both of those male ends into, the one on the end of the RCA adapter, and the end of your speakers cable,

couplers just have two female ends and are generally used for the extension of cables, so are

quite easy to get hold of.

Remember: when getting the RCA adapter and the 3.5mm coupler, make sure they are both stereo, or say stereo somewhere in the description of them otherwise you'll end up with mono sound, which means the left speaker will sound exactly the same as the right!

This is a lot cheaper than buying some new fancy speakers/amplifier that have optical connections, and definitely cheaper than getting a Digital - Analog converter.

How To do this:

Once you have all of your equipment connect up your PS1/2/3 AV Cable and plug the White and Red ends into the RCA adapter, do not plug in the yellow end, that is for video. If you have a color coded adapter, obviously match up the colors, if not you will have to play around with which color goes in which hole in the adapter, choose a song you know starts on the left or right speaker and do it that way.

Or you can play a game like RFOM, throw a grenade to your right and make sure it comes out the right speaker, be imaginative.

On the end of your RCA adapter attach the 3.5mm coupler, make sure you push it in all the way,

finally, you can now plug your desktop speakers into the other end of the coupler. You're done!

I hope this helps people, I found quite a few (I mean literally a few) people that had their PS3's in their room hooked up to their HDCP through DVI monitor and as we all know, DVI doesn't carry sound. I was one of these people and I currently have the same setup as above.

NOTE:

Gold plated connections on all the adapters will ensure minimal loss of sound quality, so don't be afraid to spend a little more as it will be worth it, with all these adapters a loss in sound quality is quite likely.

I currently have all gold plated connections and I can honestly say the sound is great quality, no

crackling, popping or whatever else you would associate with this many adapters.

Copy music/videos from iPod to PS3

for Music:

1. Connect your iPod to your PS3 like you would with your computer.

2. The iPod will show up as USB DEVICE (iPod)

3. Press triangle, and hit display all when highlighting the iPod in the music section of the XMB.

4. Go into the folder iPod_control.

5. Go to the folder Music.

6. You will now see a lot of folders that begin with the letter F. Press triangle, and select copy all.

7. The PS3 will now start to copy your music.

8. Once it finishes, go to the music section in the XMB, and there's your music!

for Videos:

1. Connect your iPod to your PS3 like you would with your computer.

How to stream AVI files on PS3 via Tversity

Tversity is a dandy freeware that cab help you watch AVI files on the fly from PC to PS3!

so all what you need is:

=>Tversity

=>FFdshow version 802

Instructions:

1. Install Tversity

2. Install FFDshow revision 802 (uninstall any old versions before installing this)

3.Once you have done all the above, go to your windows firewall and in exceptions allow

Mediaserver.exe (you can find it at C:\Program Files\TVersity\Media Server\MediaServer.exe) You may need to allow Tversity also, if it already hasn't been added automatically

Streaming time:

1. Load up Tversity
2. Go to Start/All Programs/ Tversity Media Server/ Tversity Tools/ Start Tversity Media Server.
(This may be done automatically but I always do it manually to make sure the server side
bit is running)
3. Add your folders/Files via the Sharing Tab and The Green + Icon.
4. On the Settings Tab Choose the Transcoder option on the left and setup your connection speed (wired or wireless) and screen resolution (exp: 1920 x 1080)
5. Scroll to bottom of the page and Save your config you have setup.
6. Do the Search for servers on your PS3 and it should now find Tversity server and from there you all know how to play your videos etc.

DLNA is an industry standard for media (audio, video, photo) sharing within concept of a digital home and

is supported by many hardware and software manufacturers. As of FW1.80, DLNA is supported by

Playstation 3 entertainment system. PS3 takes a role of DLNA Player, not DLNA server, so it can play a

content of any DLNA server (source) in you digital home, but can not stream the content to other server

within DLNA protocols. (Remote connect to PSP is using proprietary protocols.)

What it means is that you have to have a DLNA server installed, either hardware (like some HDD storages,

DVRs or set-top boxes) or as a software on your PC.

The latter is most interesting for majority of us, since DLNA certified CE equipment is not that widespread yet.

Your options for the software naturally depends on your operating system. DLNA is an open protocol based

on UPnP (Universal PnP) and therefore can work on any operating system. So far we found a reasonably good solution only for Windows OSes, so I'll start with it.

SHARING FILES FROM PC TO PS3 VIA WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER:

1. Install Windows Media Player 11 on your PC (MUST BE CORRECT BUILD AS STATED
ABOVE!!!)
2. In WMP11 go to Tools > Options > Library
3. Click on the configure sharing button (first time use the button may not appear until you check the allow sharing box) (MUST BE CORRECT BUILD AS STATED ABOVE!!!)
4. Turn on the PS3 at this point. You should see Unknown Device or PS3 listed there.

5. Click on Allow
6. You should now be able to navigate your PC files through PS3 Tip: Hit Triangle to copy to your PS3

Known Issues and troubleshooting with Windows Media 11 and PS3:

If you have a problem with it under XP, try to manually enable UPnP service. For this do the following:

1. Click Start
2. Click Programs
3. Click Administrative Tools
4. Click Services
5. Scroll down to Universal Plug and Play Device Host
6. Double click Universal Plug and Play Device Host
7. Set the Startup type to Automatic and click the Start button in that window to start the service
8. If you don't see the Administrative Tools in the Programs, you will need to right mouse click down in
your taskbar and go to Properties, from there click the Start Menu tab and click the Customize... button, just check Display Administrative Tools and then click OK.

I didn't have a place to put my Bluetooth headset, so I thought I'd build in the headset charging cable to the controller charging station it's nice to have all things in one place.

1. tools needed

file, glue, knife, drill, cutting pliers and a screwdriver

2. open,

start with opening up the case.

3. Make the cable hole

use the drill and knife to get a half-circle hole that the headset charging cable fits in

4. make the other cable hole

remove the shiny plastic thing and start to drill and cut until the end of the cable fits precisely in

the hole.

5. Glue

make sure the cables is in the right position then glue it from below.

6. Shiny thing

cut the shiny thing so that it fits around the end of the cable.

7. Done!

now you have an all in one charging station!

Adding IR Remote Control to the Sony PS3

The Sony PS3 is the jack-of-all-trades of the console world. Not only does it represent some of the most advanced hardware ever to be dedicated to the business of gaming, but it also has a surprising

number of secondary skills including web browser and media player. But one of the most important

supplementary functions of the PS3 is the unit’s built-in Blu-ray Disc (BD) movie playback. In fact, for some folks this is the primary reason for purchasing the system – the PS3 is not only one of the best

BD players currently available on the market, but it costs barely half as much as the next

cheapest standalone model.

With Sony’s heavy hyping of the PS3’s extensive media capabilities, it’s disappointing to discover that they didn’t seem to learn from past history when it comes to integrating the PS3 with audio/video

components.

Back when the original PS2 was released, one of its primary secondary features was that it could play DVD movies. However, beyond using the wired controller, it lacked any real remote control

capabilities – which made it far from most people’s first choice when it came to DVD playback.

Wireless remote or bust! Sony (et al) listened, and official add-on wireless remote controls began

popping up on the market, each of which included a separate consumer infrared (CIR) receiver that plugged into one of the PS2’s controller ports. Eventually when the company redesigned the PS2 into the newer “slim” version in 2004, they built that CIR receiver right into the unit to make the unit more attractive for movie playback out-of-the-box.

Things looked bright for the PS3’s future when the PlayStation Portable (PSP) was released, as it came with a built-in CIR receiver/transmitter (even though there is still no “official” use for this). But

then, just before the PS3 was released, disaster struck for universal remote controls everywhere. Sony revealed that the PS3 would not have an infrared receiver after all, and the optional BD movie remote control would be based on Bluetooth technology. Nooooo!

Now, there’s nothing particularly wrong with Bluetooth. It’s a great wireless solution that doesn’t

require line of sight to operate, and since the PS3 is already using Bluetooth for its controllers this would seem like a natural and cost effective extension. However, the one thing Bluetooth is not is friendly with home theater systems. No commonplace equipment available in the audio/video world uses Bluetooth for control. There are no remote automation systems designed to handle Bluetooth – everything is either more traditional RF, or standard infrared.

So not only does this Bluetooth-only solution make it absolutely impossible to integrate that optional BD remote – and thus control over the PS3 – into any universal remote control, but it also makes it impossible for that Bluetooth remote to perform any regular home theater functions such as turning on the television or adjusting the volume. Bluetooth just isn’t a good match for the audio/video world, and with Sony pushing use of the PS3 with high-end home theater systems it’s unthinkable that such a basic necessity would be overlooked.

The parts you’ll need:

Well, necessity is the mother of invention, and using only off-the-shelf hardware it’s possible to add a
basic level of infrared remote control capabilities to today’s PS3. Here’s what you need:
● A Sony PS3 system (20gb or 60gb)
● A PSX/PS2 Controller to USB adapter (Location: Home | PS3 | Cables and Adapters)
● An original DVD remote control for the PS2 with external IR receiver

Some further explanation may be required for two of these items.

The “PSX/PS2 Controller to USB adapter” is a conversion cable designed to make PlayStation
controllers compatible with traditional home computers. It does not appear to matter exactly which adapter you purchase.
The trickiest item to obtain will be the original DVD remote control for the PS2 – at least one that comes with an external IR receiver. All currently marketed DVD add-on remotes do not include that
external IR receiver, since one is already built into the slim PS2. So, you’ll need to find an add-on
remote designed for the original PS2. For this test I used the official Sony PlayStation 2 DVD Remote Control model SCPH-10172, which specifically mentions “with IR receiver unit” on the package front.
The part number of the IR receiver is SCPH-10160. To find one check out the usual suspects for non current hardware – eBay, bulk liquidators, and so forth.
To assemble this contraption, plug the IR receiver into the PS2 controller end of the adapter cable, and then plug the USB end of the adapter into one of the PS3’s front mounted USB ports. The end result
may look a little bit ungainly, but it’s better than nothing!

So, that’s 14 functional buttons. Using a universal remote control this way works fairly well, although the PS3 is a little less quick to respond to repeated commands from the adapter, so you can’t press “up-up-
up” as rapidly as with the Bluetooth controller. The 35 other commands on the Sony PS2 DVD
remote control? They don’t do anything. There’s also no way to power on the unit using infrared nor navigate the Cross Media Bar, although this isn’t as inconvenient as it sounds since the PS3 will turn
on and automatically play a movie when one is inserted.
Note that if you purchase a different brand of PS2 remote you may need to map its commands to their PS3 equivalents yourself, using the original remote control. I also do not recommend using the Mad
Catz add-on PS2 DVD remote with IR receiver for the original PlayStation 2, as its non-standard
commands are notoriously difficult for universal remote controls to learn.
If there’s enough demand for infrared remote control of the PS3 I’m sure that an accessory company will step up to the plate and offer an official – and more elegant – IR remote control solution,
hopefully with a level of control that at least matches the official PS3 Bluetooth remote (which has 51
commands). But for now, this collection of non-intended hardware and adapters makes a practical and inexpensive way to integrate your PS3 with your universal remote control.

PS3 3 Beep & Blinking Red Light Fix

The Red light is due to the HDD (hard drive).

There is one of 2 problems:

1. The connection is loose or

2. The HDD is just bad.

This was an issue that has been discussed over in the Playstation forums and it seems that re-seating

(removing & reinstalling) the HDD has solved the problem for many but some people have just

received bad hard drives period.

If you reinstall the HDD & it still beeps 3 times & gives you the red light, then you will have to replace your HDD.

If I remember correctly, PS3s use Hitachi Laptop Drives. IMO, Hitachi is not well known for good

drives. I replaced mine with a 160GB Western Digital drive I got for free a few months ago. I haven't had any problems since.

Hitachi makes a good drive, but the ones that fail seem to fail really bad. Western Digital seems to make the best drives and they offer a very good warranty service as well.

How to Change From HDMI tv to STANDARD tv

Just made this easy tutorial because when I play my ps3 in HD, and the next day I take it to a standard tv, I would have to go back to the HDTV, plug in the HDMI, go to settings, set it to composite input and then go back to the standard and then I could play. Another scenario would be... You just played your ps3 on your 1080p Sony bravia lcd. Your friend calls you over and asks to bring your ps3 for some WarHawk. When you get to his house, he only has a standard definition tv. What the hell would you do ^_^. You need an HDMI to see the screen.

From HDMI to Composite. okey here is wath you'll do:

1. Turn on your ps3 and wait a few seconds (approx. 10 seconds)

2. If you have multiple accounts on the ps3, Press ( X ), If you don't then just skip to number 3

3. Press Left arrow 4 Times (<<<< )

4. Press Down Arrow 9 Times ( vvvvvvvvv )

5. Press ( X ) 2 times

6. Press Down arrow 2 times ( vv )

7. Press ( X ) 2 times

8. Your Done! the screen should be shown now in your standard definition Tv.

80130203 - PS3 connects to internet but not to network - Typically means that the required ports are not open to connect to store but PS3 can connect to internet.

80710092 - "An error has occurred. you've been signed out from the ps network" (connection

Automatic, not Custom. I always had it on Custom before.

8002A705 - Unable to connect to server/host. Check router port configuration.

80030920 - An error occurred during the copy operation. The file may be corrupt or there isn't enough memory. Try copying data from original source.

Display/Video Fixes

I want to put a post about how to fix some sort of display/video problem, i.e. blank screen, sound but no display.

1. First off check your connections. Make sure that whichever display/video cable you might be

currently using, is connected all the way & properly hooked up to your TV & PS3. This will fix

most display/video problems.

2. Check your display/video cables to make sure that there is nothing wrong with your cables. If

you suspect there is a problem with your cables but are not sure, try them on another PS3 (one

that you know for sure is working & does not have display/video problems).

3. Hold the power button on the ps3 for 5 seconds until you hear a beep. If this doesn't work, try a

few times. It should work. This will also fix most display/video problems (i.e. no display/

video). (When turning on your PS3, be sure to hold the power button down.

Fix the Playstation 3 HDMI problems

First, if you have an older HDTV, i.e. one that doesn't support 720p resolution, prepare to be

disappointed. The PS3 will down-rev your revolution to 480p, not up-rev it to 1080i. Sad.

● Turn on TV and set input to HDMI port being used

● Make sure PS3 is connected via HDMI

● Power on PS3 via power button and HOLD IT for 5 seconds.

How to clean the blu-ray lens dirt

we know that the most unwanted ps3 problems are the lens's that's i want to put this post today, and i hope it will help you like how that helped me. so let's just enter to the important because i don't like much blablabla.

To allow the drive to read 25GB worth of info, the Blu-ray lens is placed very close to the disc surface

- somewhere between 0.1 and 0.3 millimeters. Here's the potential problem. The Blu-ray disc is

coated with Zircon, a substance almost as tough as diamond. When the disc heats up it could undergo

warping. Since the Zircon is stiffer than Al Gore, the disc can only warp downwards towards the lens.

"Guess what happens when you run Zircon over glass at 2000rpm?" The heart-stopping

answer: you're going to need a new Blu-ray lens. What does that mean to PS3 gamers? "Who can say? To be honest, I'd expect any drive or disc to fail in some way if it was being rattled about whilst

trying to run and the Xbox 360 is a prime example, "But it'll be interesting to see how the

PS3 is treated by the public when in use and to see what errors are thrown up by the Blu-ray drives. As I said, the tolerances in the Blu-ray system unlike HD DVD, don’t leave much room for 'user error.'"

Okay, so he works for Blu-ray's arch enemy HD DVD, but it doesn't mean he's making this stuff up, right?

Anyway, now that you know the dirt, i give you the well way to clean your Blu-ray lens in case it gets dirty (not warped!). I'm not suggesting you to do this to your PS3, but it can be used.

The tricks:

Accessing & Removal of the Blu-Ray:

1. Turn the console to the left so that the rubber foot that is circled in red in the picture below can been seen. Use a small flathead screw driver to remove the rubber foot off. Now that the foot is removed used the Torx screwdriver to unscrew the screw.

2. Once the Screw has been removed it should look like the picture below

3. Now face the ps3 towards you and slide the top of the ps3 to the left this may take some force if it your first time opening the console. When the case has slid as far left as it will go lift the case

upwards as shown in the picture below.

4. After the top is removed you will be faced with yet another cover to remove this cover start by removing the 7 long screw circled in red in the picture below using a Phillips head screw driver.

5. Now undo the two small clips at the back of the console using a small screw driver then lift the

cover off the console as shown in the picture below this may take a bit of gentle force.

6. While taking the cover off you will see a connector as shown in the picture below.

To remove the silver connector use a Small flathead screw driver as shown in the picture below

to help you wedge it out.

7. You will now be able to see the ps3 insides as shown in the picture below

8. Now to remove the Blu-ray drive. This is relatively easy. Lift the drive up about 2” and you will see a really wide ribbon cable connecting the drive to the motherboard. Unplug it. There will also be a plug near the front of the Blu-ray drive. Unplug it as well. The drive will then just lift out.

What you will need in order to clean the Blu-Ray drive:

● Screwdriver

● Q-tip

● Clean lens liquid

Disassembling the Blu-Ray drive:

1. Turn the drive over so as that the board on the Blu-Ray drive is facing up towards you.

2. Take out the 2 screws that are on the bottom left & right hand corners. (Not on the board of the Blu-Ray but on the metal part of the drive.)

=>When they are unscrewed, take the 2 screws out along with the metal piece that is with them.�

=> REMEMBER: when you assemble the Blu-Ray drive, screw the 2 screws back in with the

metal piece.

3. Now unscrew the 5 screws on the board of the Blu-Ray drive. (1 top right, 1 top left, 1 bottom left, 1 bottom almost right, 1 bottom right.)

=>Bottom right screw: comes with metal piece that will need to be reattached upon reassembly.�

4. Once the screws are out, you will be able to disconnect the motherboard's connectors.

=> To extract the connectors, you will need to lift the lid (on each connector) & pull the

connector out.

5. Now, lift the motherboard to your right as it is still connected, to the Blu-Ray drive, with a cable.

6. To extract the cable from the motherboard, you only have to pull the cable from the motherboard.

=> Now you can remove the motherboard, as nothing else is holding it on.

7. Now turn the Blu-Ray drive over (as you will have to be able to lift & extract the upper case).

8. Once you have turned the Blu-Ray drive over, lift up the on the upper case to take it off.

=> Be sure that when taking it off the push back on the case while lifting it up, as the case is

hooked into some tabs.

9. Now you will need to take out 4 screws on the drive (1 top right, 1 top left, 1 in the middle on

the left side, above the white piece, & 1 straight across, from the one above the white piece,

on the right).

10. Once you have taken out those 4 screws you will need to remove 1 screw in the middle on the

bottom.

11. Now, you will need to move remove the white part that holds the Blu-Ray disc.

12. Once you do that, you can lift the black case towards your right side.

13. Now take a Q-tip & dampen it with the lens cleaner liquid.

14. Now take the dampened Q-tip & make smooth circular movements on the lens (located in the square black part).

=> NOTE: You will want to be careful as the Blu-Ray is very delicate.

15. Now use the dry end of the Q-tip to dry the lens.

=> You will want to make the same smooth circular movements on the lens, as you just used

to clean it.

=>NOTE: You will want to be careful as the Blu-Ray is very delicate.

16. Now put the black case back on that you turned to your right.

17. Put the white part back on.

18. Screw back in all the screws that you took out & be sure to put the metal pieces that they came with back on too!

How to play Games from DVD-R on a Wii

step 1

Download a disc copy program and a disc burning program to the desktop of the PC; for example, the trial version of imgburn. Double-click on the files once they have downloaded. Follow the menu commands to install both programs onto the desktop. Restart the PC.

Step 2

Double-click on the icon of the disc copy program to launch it. Select the DVD drive from the "Devices" drop-down menu.

Step 3

Eject the disc tray of the DVD drive. Put the Wii game disc onto the disc tray. Close the disc tray.

Step 4

Select "ISO" from the "Type" drop-down menu on the disc copy program's main screen. Select "Data" from the "Mode" drop-down menu.

Step 5

Click the "Start" or "Go" button on the disc copy program's main screen. Wait for the confirmation window to appear on the screen. Click on the "OK" or "Finished" button on the confirmation window.

Step 6

Quit the disc copy program. Eject the disc tray. Remove the Wii game disc. Close the disc tray.

Step 7

Double-click on the icon of the disc burning program to launch it. Click on the "Add" button on the disc burning program's main screen. Navigate in the window that appears to the Wii game file. Double-click on the Wii game file to close the window.

Step 8

Select "DVD-Video" or "DVD" from the "Format" drop-down menu on the disc burning program's main screen. Select "ISO" from the "Type" drop-down menu on the disc burning program's main screen.

Step 9

Select the DVD drive from the "Devices" drop-down menu. Eject the disc tray of the DVD drive. Put the blank recordable DVD-R disc onto the disc tray. Close the disc tray.

Step 10

Click the "Start" or "Burn" button on the disc burning program's main screen. Wait for the confirmation window to appear on the screen. Click on the "OK" or "Finished" button on the confirmation window. Quit the disc burning program. Eject the disc tray. Remove the DVD-R. (^_^)

PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has announced today that the Kane & Lynch demo for PS3 is coming this Tuesday to PSN for PlayStation Plus members

The demo is available exclusively to PlayStation Plus members for one week on the PlayStation Store - both by automatic download and from the storefront.

The demo will be available to all PlayStation Store users on Tuesday, July 27.

IMPORTANT: To receive the automatic download, make sure to turn on the "Automatic Download" feature in the "Settings -> "System Settings" menu on the XMB. You can select a timeframe (2-hour interval) you want the PS3 system to check for available downloads.

- You must be an active PlayStation Plus subscriber to enjoy the convenience of automatic downloads (which also delivers firmware updates and game patches).
- If you turn on the Automatic Download feature before Monday, July 19, expect to have the Kane & Lynch demo pushed to your system July 20th or 21st. during the timeframe you designate in your settings.
