Fred Lebain visited New York during the spring of 09 where he captured several highly detailed images. He later printed these scenic photos onto large posters and superimposed them at the location of the original photograph. The end result is a stealthy camouflage with a hint of surrealism.  


This is quite a play on time and location brings out a certain uniqueness and spirit of New York.

The ice aquarium located in Kesennuma, Northern Japan preserves their 450 specimens using flash freezing technology. The 450 marine creatures consist of 80 different species ranging from fish, crabs, and octopuses transferred in from the local port. This natural wonder was declared one of the top ten scuba diving spots in the world by Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Jacques-Yves Cousteau measured the depth of this submerged sinkhole to be 125 meters. Stalactite samples show that the Great Blue Hole has been around for at least 150,000 years. This natural phenomenon was created as caves collapsed from rising ocean levels.

The Devil's Pool is possibly the world's most dangerous pool as it is situated 360 feet (~110 meters) on top of Victoria Falls. Guido Daniele developed a technique for painting bodies in 1990. Since then, he has painted numerous works of art on models for advertising campaigns and fashion exhibitions. During Guido Daniele's work sessions, the models must avoid moving any fingers for up to an outstanding ten hours.
