Segundo a BBC, a pressão sobre este assunto aumentou quando os companheiros das mulheres sauditas criaram uma campanha, através do Facebook, apelando ao boicote a lojas de roupa interior feminina, e também a partir do momento em que várias jovens manifestaram o desejo de entrar neste mercado que, por tradição, lhes estava vetado.

Normalmente, as mulheres sauditas que trabalham têm cursos superiores e desenvolvem a sua atividade em medicina ou no governo.

O decreto do Rei Abdullah, que agora proíbe que sejam homens a atender nas lojas de lingerie, vai criar cerca de 40.000 empregos para mulheres sauditas, mas, ao mesmo tempo, vai aumentar o desemprego masculino, especialmente entre os imigrantes.

Este pode ser o início de uma revolução social que está a ser imposta à força sobre as forças religiosas do país.

O Sheikh Abdel Aziz al-Sheikh, a mais importante figura religiosa saudita, já avisou aos comerciantes que contratar mulheres é proibido pela lei islâmica.

Abeer Mishkhas, colunista do jornal Asharq al-Awsat acredita que esta questão pode provocar uma reação negativa na polícia religiosa e aumentar a tensão entre estes e as fações mais liberais da sociedade.

Pesquisa aponta que, no dia a dia, as mulheres deixam a sensualidade de lado e preferem roupas íntimas confortáveis, contrariando os homens. Mas, elas não deixaram de usar a lingerie como arma de sedução.

De acordo com uma pesquisa do Instituto de Estudos e Marketing Industrial (Iemi), na hora de escolher a peça íntima as mulheres brasileiras preferem deixar de lado a sensualidade e passam a valorizar mais o conforto. Pensando mais em si do que em agradar, ou seduzir, o parceiro.

O total de 1.100 pessoas, com idade acima de 15 anos, de todas as classes sociais e residentes em diferentes Estados foram entrevistados para a pesquisa do Iemi.

Os resultados mostram que 38% das mulheres preferem comprar lingeries confortáveis e 14,6% as peças classificadas como práticas.

A sensualidade não é um critério importante para a maioria das mulheres, mas é relevante para os homens. O total de 22,2% deles preferem que as mulheres usem peças sensuais e apenas 13,2%delas concordam.

“Os próprios médicos ginecologistas desaconselham o uso de rendas e tecidos sintéticos por causa do clima. Eles aconselham o uso de calcinhas de algodão. Como o tecido não absorve o calor, acaba causando assaduras etc. Além de ser desconfortável. Também tenho amigas que sentem o mesmo”, relata a publicitária Jacqueline Oliveira.

Now here’s a new take on exotic swimwear – Aguaclara is an innovative company which has its HQ in Peru, South America. Meaning “Clear Water” in Spanish, we think the brand name is dead on. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want these cool designs with a Latino twist on display at all times?

The Aguaclara mission statement is straight to the point; “Simply to make you look fantastic on the beach”. Their swimwear certainly fulfils this mission as they have become the ‘must have’ brand for this summer. Everyone loves a little bit of South American styling in their beach wardrobe, and with it’s strong ranges of Brazilian cut beachwear this label is most definately offering a little bit of exotic poolside styling to UK fans.
