Pros:

The best feature for me is the rotary knob. It is so much easier to operate while your driving than the remote. There's a high quality feel to it with a rubber sleeve for grip. Doesn't feel like it would be that easy to break. The knob is also a press button for operating the menu and navigation.

It has an automatic brightness setting so it's darker at night. You have the option to switched to manual and dim it to your preference.

Cons:

The FM transmitter can be hit or miss. The idea is that the closer you get the extension wire to your vehicle's antenna the less static you'll get. It all depends on how strong a signal the FM station you have set is broadcasting.
