Kara DioGuardi has been fired from American Idol, reports TMZ.com , the same day that Ellen DeGeneres announced she was leaving as judge and Jennifer Lopez was rumored to be a replacement. There’s a whole lot of shake-up going down over at American Idol… And now comes buzz that with the firing of Kara DioGuardi, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will take her place. How random is that?! Fox is rumored to make their official announcement about the judges during their Summer Press Tour panel on Monday, August 2. No love lost here for Kara (she always bugged me), but I expect some Idol fans will be upset over the news that DioGuardi was fired.
