<content type="html" xml:lang="en-US" xml:base="http://www.allthatisnecessary.com/all_that_is_necessary/">&lt;p&gt;The headlines at this point in time are centered on the government takeover of the health-care system.  However, in the shadows government also continues to press hard for Cap &amp;amp; Trade, Amnesty for illegals, and other power grabs.  This is a massive transformation of our nation into a socialist state.  That is not hyperbole!  It IS happening and has been happening since the early 1900's.  Little by little over the past 100 years the collectivists have been chipping away at our Constitution and our freedom.  Today we are just seeing the culmination of the dreams of the collectivists.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I would venture a guess this is not the desire of most Americans.  Since the founding of the USA there has been a sort of "social contract".  We, the people, give up some of our freedom as individuals so the government can provide a basic, minimal framework for defense, commerce between states and a court system.  Some citizens do not abide by the contract, but most still do.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;At what point has the government breached this contract? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Remember these words?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, &lt;strong&gt;Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the consent of the governed&lt;/strong&gt;, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, &lt;strong&gt;that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed&lt;/strong&gt;. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new guards for their future security"&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;As it says in the Declaration Of Independence, "governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes", and that people will put up with a lot rather than abolish the things to which they are accustomed.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;BUT, at some point the contract has been so destroyed by one party that it cannot be held to exist any longer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I would say we have passed the point where this government has the consent of the governed.  They have become destructive towards our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (property).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We have a chance in November 2010 to attempt to institute a new government.  This may be our last chance to do so.  Make sure you a part of the fight.  Fight for constitutionalists in the primaries, then vote for them in November.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We can restore our social contract as it was meant to be if we want to, but only if we really desire it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

(and so on, for other members of the household). My initial impulse was simply to misidentify my race so as to throw a monkey wrench into the statistics; I had fun doing this on the personal-information form my college required every semester, where I was a Puerto Rican Muslim one semester, and a Samoan Buddhist the next. But lying in this constitutionally mandated process is wrong. Really — don't do it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;Instead, we should answer Question 9 by checking the last option — "Some other race" — and writing in "American." It's a truthful answer but at the same time is a way for ordinary citizens to express their rejection of unconstitutional racial classification schemes. In fact, "American" was the plurality ancestry selection for respondents to the 2000 census in four states and several hundred counties.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;So remember: Question 9 — "Some other race" — "American". Pass it on." &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;That is how I intend to fill out Question #9.  And except for the number of people who live in our house, I will probably leave the other questions blank, unless people come up with more clever, truthful ways to fill out the other questions.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

That's $1.2 trillion more than predicted by the administration."&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hey, what's to worry about?!?!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I keep having this word in my brain.  That word is "unsustainable", as in not being able to be sustained, as in our goose is cooked if we don't stop spending and start paying down debt.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We all know the "stop spending" part will &lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;never&lt;/span&gt; happen while the liberals are in charge.  So, pray for a massive upheaval this coming November, or stock up on gold/silver/food/ammo.  (Yes, I am one of those "preppers".)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

There are a number of reasons:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;   1. The programs usually create adverse incentives. This is especially true in so-called “anti-poverty” programs. The beneficiaries find government subsidies a replacement for, rather than a supplement to, gainful employment and eventually become incapable of supporting themselves. This in turn creates a dependent culture with its attendant toxic behaviors which demand still more government “remedies.”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;   2. The programs create their own industry, complete with scads of “think tanks” and “experts” who survive on government research grants. These are the aptly named “Beltway Bandits.”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;   3. They create their own bureaucracies, whose managers conspire with interested members of Congress to continually increase program funding, regardless of merit.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;   4. Members of Congress secure votes and campaign donations by extorting them from beneficiaries of such programs, either through veiled threats — “vote for me or those mean Republicans will wipe out your benefits” — or promises of still more bennies.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;In short, all develop a vested interest in the program’s survival. But if the result is always more and more government, of government, by government, and for government, with no solution in sight, then why do liberals always see government as the solution rather than the problem?"&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cloward-Pivens use this fact to implement their strategy to bring down the USA.  They are winning &lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;at the moment&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

<content type="html" xml:lang="en-US" xml:base="http://www.allthatisnecessary.com/all_that_is_necessary/">&lt;p&gt;Saw this referenced over at &lt;a href="http://rightwingnews.com/#post8872" target="_blank"&gt;Right Wing News&lt;/a&gt;.  Some Senators are thinking about abandoning the Cap &amp;amp; Trade tax garbage.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/02/26/AR2010022606084.html?hpid=topnews" target="_blank"&gt;Senators to propose abandoning cap-and-trade&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;"Three key senators are engaged in a radical behind-the-scenes overhaul of climate legislation, preparing to jettison the broad "cap-and-trade" approach that has defined the legislative debate for close to a decade."&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;A good thing, right?  Yes and no.  Yes, in that they realize that Cap &amp;amp; Trade is pretty much dead.  No, in that they are contemplating something almost as bad.  But, remember, this is government we are talking about.  And government is about force and control, nothing more. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;"Graham and Sens. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) and Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.) have worked for months to develop an alternative to cap-and-trade, which the House approved eight months ago.... &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;According to several sources familiar with the process, the lawmakers are looking at cutting the nation's greenhouse gas output by targeting, in separate ways, three major sources of emissions: electric utilities, transportation and industry.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style="color: #00007f;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Power plants would face an overall cap on emissions that would become more stringent over time; motor fuel may be subject to a carbon tax whose proceeds could help electrify the U.S. transportation sector&lt;/strong&gt;; and industrial facilities would be exempted from a cap on emissions for several years before it is phased in...."&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;For a start, there is basically NO man-made global warming or climate change, so this legislation is idiotic from the very beginning.  It is not necessary!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The regulation will absolutely crush the economy and drive what little manufacturing we have overseas, but there is one aspect that screams out in stupidity.  They are going to cap emission from power plants, then tax the hell out of gas to help pay for the electrification  of the transportation system.  Where are they going to get the electricity from?  Remember they are going to cap emissions from POWER PLANTS!!!  Do these people think through anything?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There is some talk in the proposed bill that would expand drilling and authorize more nuclear plants, but we know that part will never happen.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Remember, these climate bills, like the health-care bills, are about control only.  They solve nothing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sweep Congress clean in 2010!  They ALL need to go.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

<content type="html" xml:lang="en-US" xml:base="http://www.allthatisnecessary.com/all_that_is_necessary/">&lt;p&gt;I could list dozens of headlines from today, yesterday, the day before that, etc., that paint a pretty bleak picture of our reality today economically and socially.  And I mean BLEAK!  From the horrendous economy, to run-away growth in government power and control, the housing crash, islamic terrorism, nations dying economically like Greece........you get the picture.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My gut is telling me this will not end well.  How about yours?  This is not reveling in doom and gloom theories.  This is looking at all that is going on today and thinking about the possible paths the USA and world will take. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My gut is telling me a lot of voters will demand the government "do something".  Of course, it is the government that caused all this in the first place.  The rise of liberalism to power in the 1960's began the decline of America.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My gut is telling me that the world will not choose wisely.  Instead of more freedom and liberty, they will choose command and control.&lt;/p&gt;My gut is telling me there are entities out there that are actively seeking our destruction, and have been for decades.  Again, not conspiracy theories, just human nature.&lt;p&gt;My gut is telling me that as an average Joe, I am not at the top of any pecking order if things go bad.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My gut is telling me I should get better prepared for anything that might come because nobody else will do it for me.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My gut is telling me this didn't have to happen.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My gut is telling me to never forget what the collectivists have done to the USA.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;
