I will be working on switching over social media names right now!

I desperately need help thinking of a new blog name, but I just can't think of one!

I think I'll mostly be blogging about food, fashion, life, and design.

Google is mean.

Okay, not really, they're actually pretty great.

But they're shutting down google reader July 1st, so GFC is leaving us too {so i hear}.

Sorry for the lack of posts too! I've been sick with the flu, buried under craft stuff, and trying to think of a new blog name! {Yes! I am thinking of a wonderful awesomealiciousnummy blog name.} But here's some stuff I've been doing.

I got a new phone, samsung intensity 3!

I was sick, used up about 2 or 3 boxes of tissues, coughed a whole ton, and pampered my Pepper with doggy treats.

Her name is Pepper!

She's a schnoodle, poodle schnauzer mix.

This is my fur baby ^^^

She's the sweetest, awesomest dog I could ever ask for.

She is super protective of the whole family, for some strange reason, she's really attached to me most.

I decided to make her a blog, where I share doggy DIYs, doodles, and pictures.

Out of Inspiration

Lately, I've been feeling like I have nothing to post.

I used to be a river full of ideas, now that river is dry.

It's all how you look at it.

If you don't have inspiration, shut your computer lid.

And walk around your house, look at everything, remember some memories.

If there's something you love in your house, explore it.

Where did you get it? How did you get it? When?

Your bound to be able to write a post about something in your house, or get an idea for a post.

Your never, ever out of ideas, each of us are so creative and unique in our own ways, we just need to know how to express it.

Whether we do hair, manicures, paint, create, write, or speak, or do whatever you do.

We are all creative, don't let anyone tell you your not creative or unique.

When I need inspiration, I hop onto Pinterest, but the truth is, Pinterest doesn't always help, normally it just sucks me in, I spend an hour on there, when I finally pull myself away I realize how much time I wasted, when I could of been exploring my house, or spending time with my fur baby.

A good way to get inspiration, is keep a notebook full of ideas, keep it organized so it's not overwhelming whenever you look in it for inspiration, if you have limited space, try keeping one online, maybe on Google docs, or Microsoft Word.

We all get sick.

Well I'm sick right now!

Sorry I haven't been posting, I have been super busy, I was out Friday-Saturday, church on Sunday.

Then a bible study on Monday, Tuesday I started feeling it, Wednesday I was miserable.

Now today! I'm feeling a whole lot better!

Well, what always makes me feel better, is beautiful pictures! {Plus medicine and sleep}

I've been noticing how I haven't been getting a lot of comments on my blog lately.

Then I realized. I'm not leaving comments on these amazing blogs that I read.

I'm going to start leaving a comment on every blog post I love!

Leaving comments and being social with other bloggers, is how my blog grew.

Because every blogger you get to know, helps you in some way, it could be inspiration, it could be helping you design your blog, it could be giving you tips and tricks, or it could be helping your blog get out there.

I'm going to start getting my blog back out there, get to know new bloggers, making my posts matter.

Because everything you have to say is important.

If you feel like your posts don't matter, make them matter, it's your chose if your posts matter.

Get out there in the blogging world get to know new bloggers!

Leave some comments, spread some blog love, and help them grow!

Nice comments are what makes me keep blogging, knowing that my posts matter!

When I write posts from now on I'm not just going to post a picture, type out a couple words, and hit Publish.

I'm going to make then heartfelt and from me, and I'm going to make them matter!

Awhile ago I published a post that said, "comment with your link to your shop or blog, and you'll get free ad space."

That got about 10 comments, later I post something that had a couple pictures in them and I get 1 comment.

You should leave a comment because you like something, not because I'm your sponsor, or you'll win something.

How to make a collage in photoshop {Photoshop Tutorial}

Another Photoshop tutorial!

I'm going to show you how to make a Photoshop collage!

{Take a peek below!}

Step 1: Open the amazing magical photoshop ;]

Step 2: Depending on how many images you have, {I used 4 and had to resize them a bit} make a new blank file 700x600 pixels

Step 3: Make sure it is zoomed in/out to 100% and make sure you can see the whole file

Step 4: Find your images, but do not hit "Open" Make sure you use "Place" to place your image, resize and/or move the image around till you like the way it looks

Step 5: Find image #2 {hehe I am so immature} repeat step 4

Step 6: Continue with step 4

Step 7: Continue with step 6

Voila! Your all done!

And there you have your brand new collage!

Clipping Mask Header {Photoshop Tutorial}

Today I am going to show you how to make a clipping mask header!

It's super easy and super cute!

Step 1: Open up photoshop {I use photoshop elements 8} :]

Step 2: Create a blank new file by hitting ctrl+n and size it to 900x300 pixels

Step 3: Here is the blank file, make sure its zoomed in/out to 100%

Step 4: Select the text tool, type out your text, for my case it's "All Things Blogs"

Step 5: Select the image you would like to show through the text, use "Place" not "Open" it will place it ON your text.

Step 6: After you have placed the image, make sure it covers the text, and is on top of the text.

Step 7: Hit ctrl+g and it should do the clipping mask! If it doesn't work, make sure you select the picture, and the picture is at the very top of your layers

Step 8: Use the "Move Tool" {top left of your tool bar} and position the picture however you would like it to show through your text.

THEN YOUR DONE!

How easy was that?

I am a stay at home mom who are striving to establish myself as a working from home mom using my experience as a mom, a woman and a blogger at my own blog CuteCoconut. For the past few years my husband and I and our two boys have traveled among three countries and many cities and still yet to decide where we are going to settle for good. My morning remedy has been always cups of coffee and right now in between driving the kids here and there, juggle work, home and me-time with friends I am also busy losing weight. But I guess this one will take me ages to finish up :P

Why are you so awesome?

I think I am awesome because I can answer emails, texting with friends and write my blog all the while I am keeping up with NCIS on TV (and still my husband doesn't believe that he keeps changing the channel!).

What is your New Year's resolution?

My new years resolutions are slimming 5 kg down, regular exercise, enjoy healthier food, preparing my 3yrso for KG1 and earn more significantly from my blog.

What do you expect from your blog in 2013?

I want my blog quality can take one more level up in term of quality of content and quality of readership. I hope my blog can be my gate to wider world where I can meet more people to connect to and to make friends with. Money wise, I surely hope my blog is reaching to that point where I can earn a few dollar steadily on monthly basis.

What is your New Year's resolution?

I'm due to have our second little girl in early April {though I would totally be fine with late March :P} so after that I have resolved to get back into shape! I never bothered after my 1st pregnancy, and I'm definitely regretting it now {aka I don't have nearly as much energy!} But until this kiddo comes out I'll be sticking to some light pilates.

What do you expect from your blog in 2013?

I've been blogging for a little over a year now, and I feel like I've really gotten to a place where I'm comfortable with what I blog about and the direction my blog is heading. Of course I'd love to have new followers and meet new people, but my over all goal is to let my blog continue to be a place where I can share all the {above mentioned} awesomeness in my life and not something that consumes all my time! Balance is key :)

What is your New Year's resolution?

My new years resolution is to sort my house out and get it nicely decorated and to get healthier.

What do you expect from your blog in 2013?

My hopes for my blog his year is to reach 1000 follows via GFC

I think loving myself and caring about the welfare of others makes me awesome. And I love cartoons :)

What is your new years resolution?

I didn't feel the need to have one this year since I'm in the middle of a 101 in 1001 challenge and I have about 91 tasks to go. Besides I never keep my resolutions anyway.

What do you expect from your blog in 2013?

I expect my blog to remain a happy place and a creative outlet for me. It is so easy to lose focus when blogging and get caught up in the comparison game. This year I'm blogging for me; and if people read it, they read, and if they don't, they don't.

Today I'm talking about Who Inspired my blog!

There have been so many lovely ladies who have inspired my blog.

She has helped me build my blog, inspired me to start one.

I love her blog, and she is super sweet!
