This is really awesome!

The synth has a demo version. Moody ds synth and sid synth are $12 on the hobby chop site. Hardware and carts are not currently available as the person that runs the site is on holiday. the downloadable .nds game synths, sequencers, visualizer etc are available right now. I'm using the GBA slot 2 midi adapter in the video to trigger the synths on the nintendo ds units with midi from the ipad.

The free demo is the complete instrument to play with. The full version unlocks the things you keep and connect:

What you need

A Nintendo DS or DS Lite with a flashcart, to run it from an SD card.
An SD card, to save your presets and setup (full version).
For MIDI, the mDS cartridge that plugs into the second cart slot. It works on the original DS and DS Lite. The DSi and 3DS do not have the slot, but the synth, sequencer, and song mode still play on any DS.

mDS is a Nintendo DS / DS Lite slot-2 (GBA Game Pak) MIDI interface built on an RP2040. It bridges hardware MIDI into the DS over the slot-2 SRAM bus so a DS app can be a MIDI synth. The DS is the synth; the cart is the interface - see the sDS synth app, the baseline ROM that runs on it.

One firmware, two jobs: mDS speaks the mDS `"STDS"` protocol (MIDI clock + a MIDI event ring), so the same cart drives both the sDS synth *and* clock-sync apps (e.g. stutter-ds) with no changes.

Instructions:

Place the sDS ROM on the SD card of your favorite R4 or SD DS cartridge.
Plug the cart into the DS before you turn the DS on.

there is a lot of korg gadget in the video (timestamps for some parts) almost all

the music in the video was made in korg gadget. this is for fun and a bit weird.

I mainly wanted to walk through the process of shooting some quick ine take videos

with no prep and then editing it all together, that way I would have an idea of

things like is the mic level too low etc. anyway it goes live in a few hours.

I plan on the 1st "real" episode to be on korg gadget so if anyone wants to be in

included let me know.

Fugue Machine Rubato!!! This is AMAZING!!!

Sequencing plugin for IPad/Iphone/Mac that does not replace Fugue Machine but is a new app altogether that is cross platform. My understanding as of now the app is $52 if you have the 1st version, $59 to new users and $79 on July 1st. I have fully tested on IPad and works great using 15 minute trials in test flight. I also read a few places that the AUv3 version only works on IOS presently and will be a mac update soon.
