Traditional work in my country, this time during a trip to Cuenca

I have been always interessed in photography, I remeber having my first camera at the age of 8. It was a very tiny one but it worked. Ever since those day I have developed my love for this art and fortunetely I got my professional one (NIKON D5100) last summer. (Thanks mum)

In order to share with the world some of the work I made this few months, and why not, before, with the other camera (Nikon bridge cant remenber which one) I have created my fan page in Facebook.

I want to invite all of you see it and please!!! Comment, criticize, anything!! But I will really want to know your opinion. I will also improved my english this year, I know my expression is not that good (I will not even talk about my spelling), so I decided it is time to do it.

Christmas cup cakes, I baked around 100 of them.

First try doing GIF photos

2013-01-15T05:53:00.002-08:00

Doy you remember this?? We were really young!! :D This is +Kris Panova and me during college, I know we look horrible, not artistique at all but I didnt have otherimagess that I could use to do GIF photos.Sorry Kris :(

GIF photos are easy to do if you have photoshop. I was silly and I downloaded a programme (Microsoft gif??) that came with a virus, fortunately my laptop is fine . The thing is you should never donwloaded programmes even if they seems serious... After that terrible moment I looked up in Youtube for tutorials and the very first one learns you how you can do this kind of photos using Photoshop. (The video is really creepy but is usefull)

Here you are the link

MACARONS

All types

When I lived in France this were my biggest eat pleasure! Now that Im back in my country is more difficult to find it but not impossible, in fact, I know there is a bakery that sells it but I havent already go. But when Ill go I'll tell if they are as good as in France. (hope they are) :)

Well, Im not so good to give names to art pieces. This is a recent photographie work I made just for the pleasure of doing but I really cant give it a name... is like is just "creation 1, creation 2.." and it goes on like that (it socks I know) is like not been able to give a name to your dog.

What do you think about it?

What about the black summer and the single light shinning.

2012-11-19T19:24:00.000-08:00

So this is a really simple look, compose by: Bershka pants, Zara chemise and New Look shoes.

I use to wear this outfit in two different ways, I would love to know which one do you think it goes better.

Reminiscentia PART 2

2012-06-26T18:44:00.001-07:00

Stephanie Valle, my friend, with the model catwalking at the end of the show.

Well so in this post we have another round of very tallented designer including of course Pepo (Stephanie) who did and amazing work especially because of the colors and the differents shapes and materials she used.

Cristina Borja

Inspiration: Amelia Eartheart

very chick and classic, neutral colors for classics pieces.

Janet Portilla

Inspiration: Jeanne d'arc (Juana de Arco)

Well this was kind of weird to me, really difficult to wear, and is not haute couture, so I think she could it do it better.

Camila Carrilo

Inspiration: Salvador Dalí

Honestly I think that she didnt capture the esence of this complex artist. It was interresting to see the fabric she used to make the coats and I really liked the colors she mixed. Green, soft pink in neon shades, it was very nice to see.

Something that mess up the hole idea were the ship´s hats that look so no chick on the model´s heads.

Gabriela Freire

Inspiration: Mickey Mouse, 1930

Love the color´s mix. Nice shapes. She did an amazing job with the pink legging/pant. Im not sure what it was but it was lovely. The other looks were not surprising but I see people wearing her clothes.

Stephanie Valle Kujan (Pepo)

Inspiration: Pierre Soulages (french painter)

Great taste, she employed the right colors to produce armony into her clothes. The fabric´s combination was perfect and I loved it because people can wear her pieces. Blouses, skirts and even jackets. She really amaze me with her job, and Im not exaggerating I really loved the blue/white skirt, the trasparent blue blouse and the brown jacket. They all look very professional and that deserves a credit.

So, what do u think???

Reminiscentia Fashion Show PART 1

2012-06-25T21:36:00.001-07:00

Reminiscentia Fashion Show

Last thursday, I went to this event because a friend of mine was about to present her desings in this fashion show Universidad San Francisco realize at the end of the schoolar year so every designer can show to the public their creations.

I took a lot of photos (some of them blurry SORRY), Honestly I cant remember the name of all the designers but I definitively remember the inspirations they took to make their collections, so Im gonna write about the ones that I most like. Even though I have to say that all the girls did an amazing effort and the result were impeccable. (For the comments I'll going to need one more post so please wait :) )

I have to say also, that some of the models were not the most tallented and that sucks because the clothes were achieved but the models didn´t do their work as they should, in order to keep the good image of the clothes.

I have to say that it was a great night for a lot of things.

Company: Laura was the perfect friend to share time with, we do like the same kind of things, so is very easy to talk with her, so we were able to discuss about the looks we liked and the ones we dont.

Place: El Club el Condado, was the perfect place for the show. After the runway we went backstage for a cockteil reunion, where we were finally aloud to see Pepo (our designer friend) so we could congratulate her for the amazing job she did!

WELL TO MUCH TALK LET SEE THE PICTURES, THEY WILL TALK BY THEIRSELF!

Adorable

Inspiration: "I love Lucy", Carla Granja

Really cool but I may say that the men clothes were more interresting.

Inspiration: "El guazón, why so sirious?"

Inspiration: "Artemis the hunter"

This one, I really put my eye on! love it, think she have a great talent! The only thing is that I don´t know the name of the designer :S its a shame...

For the moment this last one looks were the ones I most love because of the originality and also bacause Im totally in with the colors she employed.

What do you guys think about??

Finally free

Tribute to: LANA DEL REY

2012-05-29T14:18:00.002-07:00

"Elizabeth Woolridge Grant", the real name of this incredible singer, is one of my favorite artist at this moment. Her songs, videos and own style called my whole attention this days. I have always loved this "retro-style" she wears, classic but also trashy.. and of course it looks so nice in her because she is so damn beautiful!

A lot of bloggers have already post outfits inspirated on her looks, and I must admit that I dont have made mine yet, but it would happend, I promise :)

Lana del rey? that sounds really spanish dont u think?? As a matter of fact, she is not at all latina, even if she has roots from Panamá, but no, she was born and raise in New York, like my favorite singer, Lady Gaga. I think thery have a lot of talent over there LOL.

Anyway, if you want more information about this stunning singer, you go on internet to see her complete biography. Now, im going to show u some looks I loved.

Check out her jewerly: chanel earings, sunglasses, necklace and THE ring. Combine with her nails and hairdo.. im sure u now understand the classic-trashy mix of her style.

So, what do u think?? LIKE IT?

NOW: FLOWERS, FLOWERS AND MORE FLOWERS

Espero que hayan disfrutado de este pequeño tributo a una magnífica voz emergente: Lana del Rey.

Hope u have enjoyed this little tribute to a great great singer of our days: Lana del Rey.

Now I leave you with one of her songs:
