Hopefully by now you have been searching through our site and found all the great things we have to offer. With this blog, we hope to bring our customers a more personal side. Here we will talk about what is going on with the people who are Alliance World Coffees. One update is on our old trainer, Danny.

Danny was the AWC trainer for a couple of years. He was also an intern at Muncie Alliance Church. After completing the internship in December, he continued to work with us as our trainer full time. Back in March, he was approached by the leadership of our churches to lead one of our satellite churches in Indy. He and his wife accepted and they now live in Indianapolis. The good news for us is we get to see Danny every week when he comes to Muncie as part of the teaching pool for all of the site pastors. Before Danny left, he spent time training up our new AWC trainer, Tom.

Tom is one of the newest interns in the program and hails from Nebraska. Before working with us, he spent a few years in the coffee industry and was already well educated on the proper techniques associated with making great coffee. It was a quick and easy transition to make him our new trainer. In addition to training, he is beginning to learn how to roast as well.

In future posts, we hope to give you more background on what’s happening with us. We hope you enjoy learning more about us and what God is doing through us, through Alliance World Coffees. As always, thank you for your support and being part of allowing this ministry to happen. - Jeremy

Hopefully by now, you have been able to scan through our website and find exactly what you are looking for. I want to make sure you are aware of some things to look forward to and a few changes.

All of our single pound coffees are just $10.99. Espresso or blend. Single origin or decaf, all single pound coffees are $10.99. We wanted to make it easy for customers to decide which coffee to get and not allow price make the decision for you.

We have also added a new option for our wholesale customers (or anyone really) who wants to order several single pound bags for resale. We have all of our coffee in a pack of 10, one pound bundles. Buying a pack of ten is cheaper than ordering one pound ten times. We want to discourage customers from just ordering two or three single pounds to resell at a time, and with cheaper coffee prices, I think it’s a fair compromise for our wholesale customers to buy the ten pack and still be able to resell efficiently.

An option that is still in development will be the option to pay via echeck. This will provide more flexibility for you to pay. As long as a you are in good standing (no outstanding invoices beyond 30 days) you will be pay to select the check/money order option upon checkout to receive and invoice with shipment of your coffee.

As part of this ongoing branding process, we are developing new labels for our single pound coffees as well. When we get the designs, they will be added as an image for that particular coffee. There are already a few coffees with pictures and more will be added when we receive them.

I hope this post helps to shed some light on some of our recent changes and answers questions you may have. If not, you can always email me and I would be happy to answer. Another feature to our site that will be added later is our FAQ section. That page will answer even more questions about us and why we do what we do.

Thanks for your time and enjoy your coffee!

- Jeremy
