West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) will conduct a written exam for the recruitment of 414 posts of Lower Division Clerk/Assistant, Bhumi Sahayak, Amin, Draftsman, Krishi Prayukti Sahayak and Veterinary Pharmacist. Exam of these various posts will conduct on 08 February, 2014.

West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) had recently invited applications from eligible candidates to filling up 414 posts of Lower Division Clerk/Assistant, Bhumi Sahayak, Amin, Draftsman, Krishi Prayukti Sahayak and Veterinary Pharmacist.

Admit Cards:- Admit Cards will be sent to Address furnished by Candidates at the time of registration. Moreover if any candidates failed to receive Admit Card, Download it from WBSSC website after 29.01.2015.

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the SRD-Combined Madhyamik Level Examination is as Follows:-

Important Note:- Reserve Bank of India had organized an online written exam for recruitment of Assistant in various offices. RBI conducted online exam on various dates of September in Morning & Evening Sessions. Many candidates take part in Online Written exam to become a future Assistant in RBI.

The Result of Online Written Exam of said Recruitment examination has been Declared and uploaded on the following website (http://rbi.org.in). Only such number of candidates will be called for interview who stand sufficiently high in merit on the aggregate marks of the Objective Tests, such merit being decided by the Bank in relation to the number of vacancies to be filled in.

Selection Procedure:- To become a Assistant/ Clerk in RBI, candidate first need to give Online Written Exam. Based on their Performance & Marks in Online Written Exam, Candidates have to give Interview for RBI’s various offices.

Cut Off Marks:-

RBI Assistant online exam is of total 200 marks with 5 sections (Aptitude, Reasoning, English, Computer & Marketing, General Awareness).
As per criteria fixed by RBI candidate have to attain minimum qualifying marks fixed in each of 5 sectionseach of marks assigned and out of total 200 marks.
RBI hold the right to fix the cut off for each section & overall cut off.
Cut off marks may varied in each section depends on the nature of questions asked in that section.
SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates may have 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Post Result Procedure:-

Candidates qualified in the online exam will be placed according to their marks in descending order in respective categories.
Candidates who qualifies the written exam have to go through Personal Interview.
Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written examination and interview taken together in order of merit.

Part-I (General Studies) : The paper of General Studies will include questions on the following topics :-

1. General Science
2. Current events of national and international importance
3. History of India
4. National Movement
5. Indian polity and economy
6. World Geography and population

Question on General Science will cover general appreciation and understanding of science, including matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.

In History of India emphasis should be on broad understanding of economic, social, cultural and political aspects of Indian History.

In Indian National Movement, the candidates are expected to have a synoptic view of the nature and character of the Indian freedom Movement, growth of nationalism and attainment of independence.

In Indian Polity and economy question will test knowledge of the candidates pertaining to Indian Polity including the Indian Constitution, Panchayati Raj and Community Development, broad features of Indian economy and planning.

In World Geography and Population, only general understanding of the subjects will be expected with emphasis on physical/ecological, economic and socio-demographic aspects of Geography of India.

Candidates are expected to have general awareness about the above topics with special reference to Uttar Pradesh.

(4) (क) किन्हीं पाँच शब्दों में से प्रत्येक के चार-चार पर्यायवाची शब्द बतायें– 10 अंक
(ख) किन्हीं पाँच शब्दों के विपरीतार्थक शब्द बताइए– 05 अंक
(ग) किन्हीं पाँच शब्द-युग्मों में शब्दों के अर्थगत अन्तर स्पष्ट करते हुए उनका अपने वाक्यों में प्रयोग कीजिए– 10 अंक
(घ) किन्हीं पाँच पदों में से प्रत्येक में समास का नाम बताइए– 05 अंक

(5) (क) किन्हीं पाँच शब्दों की वर्तनी शुद्ध कीजिए– 10 अंक

5. भण्डार क्रय नियम तथा उ0प्र0 सरकार के अनुपूरक नियम तथा भण्डार क्रय के सम्बन्ध में निर्गत विभागीय (निदेशक उद्योग) के विभिन्न परिपत्र।

6. विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा अनुमन्य विश्वविद्यालय के प्राध्यापकों के विभिन्न वेतनक्रमों में वेतन निर्धारण, समयबद्ध प्रोन्नतियाँ, डाक्टरेट उपाधि धारी प्राध्यापकों को अग्रिम वेतन वृद्धियाँ स्वीकृत करना आदि के सम्बन्ध में विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा निर्गत विभिन्न परिपत्रों में उल्लिखित नियमों का सम्यक ज्ञान।

7. कार्यालयीय प्रक्रिया सम्बन्धी मैनुअल।

मैनुअल ऑफ गवर्नमेण्ट आर्डर्स को सन्दर्भ पुस्तिका के रूप में उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
(i) विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा निर्गत परिपत्र के कतिपय अस्पष्ट बिन्दुओं को पूर्णतया स्पष्ट करने हेतु अध्यक्ष, विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग को पत्र लिखने के लिए अभ्यर्थियों से कहा जाय।
(ii) अभ्यर्थियों से कहा जाये कि वे कुलपति की तरफ से कुलाधिपति को एक अ0शा0पत्र लिख कर विश्वविद्यालय के प्राध्यापकों के बीच वरिष्ठता निर्धारण सम्बन्धी मामलों पर निर्णय देने का अनुरोध करें।

Admit Card: candidates are advised to download their Admit Card from NIMHANS website www.nimhans.kar.nic.in as no admit card will be sent by post. The Admit Cards will be hosted on NIMHANS website by 25/02/2015.

Date Of Online Test: The Online Recruitment Test will be held on 01/03/2015 in Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Cochin depending upon the number of candidates applying.
