Oh my gosh! It’s contagious! My Little Headless Horseman’s Mount is based off Big Macintosh from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series. This whole MLP:FIM phenomenon is so crazy! I swore I wouldn’t jump on the bandwagon, but the more I watch the series, the more, scarily, hooked I am! I introduced the series to my little cousins last week when I stopped to visit on my way down to Georgia. I’m sure their parents consider me the Devil now!

WoW Lesson for those not in the know: The Headless Horseman’s mount used to one of the most coveted items you could get in World of Warcraft! First you had to defeat the Headless Horseman, a boss who only showed up for a few weeks around Halloween, and then you had to hope he actually dropped the mount, which was VERY rare! Also, he flies, which is really damn cool! I got the mount as Despair back when he was a big deal to have, and we rode him everywhere! It was awesome!

In other news, my 24 Hour Comic, The Littlest Gryphon, is finally ready for distribution! I have a great little PDF to sell that looks awesome on people’s iPhones and iPads, but I don’t have a digital distribution plugin for the site! I found one for $45, but I’ve got the raise the money. So, silly me! I totally forgot to do a strip before I started my journey south for the school year! My friend Jen offered to bail me out so I could continue to devote today’s energy to introducing my young cousins to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! (Their parents are going to be so happy!)

Sadly, Jen is all the way up in Maine and I’ve yet to meet her two new kitties, pictured in the comic. I’m also not quite sure what’s going on in that last panel, but genius is rarely understood by the rest of us. EDIT: Jen explains: “The last panel features two of my daughter’s people that she’s drawn/painted lately, just hanging out. I’ve also included gilt-framed pictures of one of her other paintings, and the Busey Family portrait. Just because it’s awesome.”

Oh my gosh! So emo!!! There are times where I just need to shake things up in my own head because they get too ridiculous in the wrong directions.

Poor Dalia, or should I say My Little Beerhorse. I fought against this whole My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic thing for a very long time! Everyone thought since I have a horse character, and I was definitely a huge My Little Pony fan as a kid, and I liked the Power Puff Girls, that I would LOVE the new MLP:FIM! I was against it because they took my cute round pudgy ponies of the 80′s and made them into huge eyed skinny little freaks! Finally I decided that if I was going to truly be against the show, I’d have to watch it so I’d know what I was talking about. … Yeah, I got sucked in. It was Rarity’s artistic meltdown that did it, “I’m so Pathetic!” I now even own a creepy little Rarity figure. It’s grown on me.

In other news, my summer quarter and my summer internship are both done! My comic book that I was to complete over the summer is not though. Only a few more pages to go, I’m going to finish it even if it is late.

Tuesday I pack the car and leave Connecticut for my last year in Savannah! I am so excited to get this senior year going and finished so I can move back to the good ole North East for good! I love New England, it’s been a beautiful summer. I’ll be leaving temps in the high 70′s to go back to 90 degree and humid Savannah, but my cats are there and they make everything better.

In a very silly move yesterday I found myself spending valuable gas money on an iPhone! To be fair, I had planned on purchasing one in November when my contract with Verizon was ready to be renewed, but my poor old Samsung Rogue just couldn’t hold out that long. The touch screen decided to go on me yesterday, and a very good sales person talked me into purchasing the iPhone now instead of later.

So now, having dipped into my gas money for my trip back to Savannah, I find myself in need of replenishing it. I also find myself in need of some digital sketching practice, my poor Cintiq is gathering dust with lack of use.
