My Little Niece Birthday Party “Cinderella”

2012-04-11T05:27:00.000-07:00

Few weeks ago we had a birthday party to our little niece “Mona” She was insisting to have Cinderella as her Birthday Cake and Hell yeah we suffered till she agrees and accept her Birthday cake to be a 3D Cake with Cinderella standing there with her Blue dress and her Tiara.

We were asking her if you are going to wear Cinderella dress, you need a prince and she answers with pride I don’t need a prince to be a princess “GOO GIRL” LOL

We bought the theme accessories from party center (you will find everything you need to host a party of any kind)

I wish Cinderrela Mona a happy Birthday and Thank you Ganati for all the work

ENJOY

Nisantasi

2012-04-01T13:09:00.000-07:00

Nisantasi is a quarter of Istanbul which includes the stores of world famous brands and has many popular cafés and restaurants. It is a part of the Sisili district. Nisantasi is a beautiful place that can take you away from the crowed of taksim to the quaitness of nisantasi streets. Where you can spend your money on brands ( if your a lover of Chanel, Tods, Cartier, Parada and more of these branded stores) Nisantansi is the best place to be in.

Dolma Bahja Palace

2012-04-01T12:27:00.000-07:00

Hey everyone, my post today will be about Dolma Bahja Palace

Dolma Bahja is where " Harem Al Sultan" took place in, but in a Studio because they can't film a movie or even to take photos inside the palace.

In this palace you will find The world's largest Bohemian crystal chandelier in the center hall. The chandelier is a gift from Queen Victoria which has 750 lamps and weighs 4.5 tonnes.

The palace is so beautiful and breath taking, because you keep on wondering how those people were living and the harem section is a mystery as the lady mentions. Because so many things happened there but not every story have been told.

I hope one day everyone can go and visit this palace so you can see the life they were living was so luxurious. one other thing, no men are allowed to enter the harem section except Al Sultan.

it took us 15 minutes walk from Taksim

Yalova & Bursa

2012-03-10T21:31:00.006-08:00

Hey readers,

Sorry for not updating the blog for so long, I'm busy with college and we just moved to a new house !! so my life is in a mess right now.. I'm still updating my trip to turkey and to day i will cover two places which are Yalova and Bursa.

If your planning to visit Bursa you must know that you will take a ferry from Istanbul till Bursa and it takes around 35 minutes ( you need to try the fairy's Sahlaaab )

after you arrive to the port , you might visit Yalova and check their Turkish delight factory and then visit the fountains ( the view is a breathtaking).

After visiting Yalova you will head to Bursa and you will take a teleferic till you reach the head of the mountains and then you will enjoy the cold weather and the snow.

plus, you will find a restaurant where you grill your own food yummi and after a long exhausting day.. you must visit the little shop beside the telefreic ( the guy name is Ali) try his tea and sahlab Yummi

and on the end of trip our driver Yousef took us to see the 600 years old tree, it was FREEZING but we had so much FUN ( Hanzada tree :p ) Nafs elli fel mosalsal elli mom kanat tatab3a :p

We had so much fun in Bursa and Yalova and i hope to visit them soon

Taksim Square

2012-02-18T21:51:00.000-08:00

Taksim considered as the heart of modern Istanbul, with the central station of the Istanbul Metro network. In Taksim has a long street "Istklal street" that is full of shops , resturants and coffee shops and you will find everything you may need.
Recomended places to visit in Taksim > The house cafe - Simit Saray- Turkish Natural Soap shop and the owner isan American old lady ( if you want to visit her shop ) you need to take the Tunel to take you to the end of Istklal street. Then take left and walk down in the street and you will find a tiny little shop that sells soaps and bath accesories.
one more thing > you need to try the chestnuts from Taksim Square( Haji Ismaeel) always greets me whenever i pass by him and i only ate once from his Chestnuts :P and in Istklal street you need to try their grilled potato

Hagia Sophia (Ayaa Sofia)

2012-02-11T21:04:00.000-08:00

Through our sightseeing in Istanbu, we visited Hagia Sophia (Ayaa Sofia) basically it’s a place that was a church and became a mosque and now it’s a museum.
Hagia Sophia was a church for three times and then became a mosque. The place is so beautiful and you your feeling get mixed up by seeing Allah's name and the drawings of the Church. Also you can see the prophet Mohammed name, Omar and Abu baker and so much more… if you’re interested in reading much more about Hagia Sophia Click Here

Ps. Some of the photos are taken with my Nikon D50 and the rest are taken with my sis Iphone

Grand Bazaar

2012-02-03T11:36:00.000-08:00

Grand bazaar is a closed place that has small shops that sells variety of things. The Grand bazaar has so many gates that you can enter from and so many shops that you will have no idea where to start from. You can find so many things as Fake bags “that you will not even recognize that they are fake”, cups, plates, paintings, soap, ceramic, shawls, Turkish delights, table cloth , runners, candles, lights, Bags, Cushions, carpets, mirrors, antiques and accessories ( earrings, bracelets, necklace, key chain, rings and so many other things) We had our lunch in a small restaurant that sells local food and the food was Delicious and of course if you are in TURKEY you MUST try their LABAN (Ayraan)
Ps. always bargain with them and always ask for a lower price.

(DON’T YOU EVER BUY ANYTHING WITH THE FIRST PRICE THEY GIVE YOU)

Enjoy the photos

some of the photos are taken by Blackdiamond ( thank you sis )

Egyptian “Spice” bazaar

2012-01-24T11:25:00.000-08:00

I’ll start my first post with the Egyptian “spice” bazaar because we went there twice and the place is AMAZING. We had so much fun and whatever they sell in this market, you just want to buy EVERYTHING... I’m dead serious I meant it... EVERYTHING and you will shop there till you drop.

So let me tell you about what you might find there, ALL kind of sweets, Spices, nuts, tea, coffee, soap, tea cups , samawer, trays, table cloth, accessories, plates and everything you might think you need or don’t need.

Sigh < I wanna go back NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

One more thing, if you are considering visiting the Spice Bazaar you need to visit my friends and their shop is near the main gate their shop name is (Bosphorus ) and the sell fine ceramics and Turkish delights , Pashminas “Scarves” and spices.

The guys who works there are SOOOOOOOO friendly… HELLO FRIENDS (Ferhat – Deniz and ILyaas) Thank you for being nice and thank you for the gifts (they gave us the most adorable bracelets ever in three different colors) I know... All of you are jealous NOW of our beautiful bracelets hahahahhahaa.. Thank you as I said again and again for those amazing bracelets :D

After you buy from (Bosphorus shop) you will find different shops that sell beautiful ceramics and fresh nuts… there is another guy his name is Mustafa he has so many beautiful ceramics, cushions and shawls.

If you need to buy the best coffee and eat the best pistachio sweets, take the first right and then go straight … you will cross by so many shops that you will get crazy and you will carry so many bags ( wear a comfy shoes)

So let me tell you something ~ first of all I LOVED the spice bazaar more than the grand bazaar don’t ask me why... I just did (the atmosphere in the spice bazaar ... ohh god I can’t explain) AMAZING AMAZING!!

Moreover, don’t you ever buy anything with the first price they offer you... Start to bargain till they give you a better price and if they don’t JUST LEAVE and trust me you will find the same item somewhere else within a step away with a lower price.

I really really really really can’t write anymore really-ies I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED THE SPICE Bazaar

PS. Visit the spice bazaar before the grand bazaar because things are much cheaper and I think, you will find more things than the grand bazaar and now ENJOY THE PHOTOOOOOS

IM STILL LOVING THE SPICE BAZAAR

Turkey, Istanbul

2012-01-24T11:21:00.000-08:00

Hello readers.. How are you all?! I hope you all are doing well... I’m so sorry for not updating the blog for so long. I was busy with college “Projects and Final exams” I thought I would lose my mind for a while but Al humdullah I’m still alive… I don’t want to talk about College I had enough of this word *ShootsMySelf*

Let’s talk about my trip to turkey which I’m absolute in love with… I didn’t think I would enjoy my time as much as I did and what was so beautiful that you are abroad and you still can hear the sound of ATHAAN

I went to turkey on “27.December.2011 till 7.January.2012” almost 12 days... I was worried that 12 days are so LONG... But trust me it’s NOT ENOUGH... we’ve been to different places in Istanbul as “Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Nisantasi, istinye park mall, jawaher mall, dolma bahja palace, Sultan Ahmed which called the blue mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and of course Taksim.

We went out of Istanbul and we visited Yalova and Borsa. In Yalova we visited the waterfall, Turkish delights factory and then we went to Borsa and we had so much fun in the snow “I slipped million times because I was wearing the wrong boots”

I’ll update each place in a different post, so you can see the places and to know some information about each place I visited.

I hope you enjoy

UAE 40th year of founding, the celebrations were all over the country, the celebration lasted for 40 days before the actual date 2.december. There was a campaign that encourages every Emirati house to hang a flag over their house. The country became a bride and the groom was Mohammed bin Zayed where he danced “Razaaf” In the celebration which was something Zayed “allah yer7ammah” used to do all the time.

The night before the celebration we had a BBQ party in my sister house and the day after i went to the desert “AlBarr” with family and friends

Thank you all ..

Aisha surprise Birthday party was in caramel ,DIFC

Happy Birthday GirLLLLL and i hope you get well soon and i had so much fun with you guys

( Latifa, Bedoor, Birthday Girl, Black diamonds and Ganati )

so let me tell you about the resturant and the food

the food was delicious and the prices are a bit expensive… and we ordered...
First, from the Petite Plates we ordered TNT Shrimps which is basically

dymanic shrimps as the one in PF Changs and
we ordered the Chicken Lollipops which is “buffalo chicken wings”
both of them were yuumi and we ordered Chinese Chinken Salad.
While from the Grand plate we ordered Chicken Shawarma Bites and their mini burgers.. Both of their main courses are a must to try. PS. If you’re planning to visit the restaurant you need to reserve a table + don’t you go @night… it’s too dark and you can’t see a thing.

I would recommend the resturant for lunch and not for dinner.

Here is their website if you need any further information

Last Saturday to Fujairah

2011-11-22T22:52:00.000-08:00

A Family Trip to Fujairah and who can go to Fujairah without of visiting Friday Market where you can find so many fruits and vegetables, Carpets, Flowers and so many different things.

Mothers LOVES Friday Market, they start with buying every fruit and vegetable they have there.
Then they start fighting for lower prices " kam a5er.. a5er Kam" till forever non stopping..
BTW, be careful because the guys who work there 7arameya...

They make you pay more than what you have bought. When we reached Fujairah we needed to have lunch and what's better than SUBWAY
(fast, easy and you can choose whatever you want + much Healthier)

We drove into different places in Fujairah and we went to OMAN as well, we went to a small village and no one was there, it has narrow streets, the houses and their doors were so small, it’s like we were living the old days.

After spinning around, we decided to set somewhere in the middle of nowhere to have our tea :D ..Exciting right!

One more thing, if you were coming to Fujairah from Falaj AL mualla side, you need to visit this old Resturant “SALMEEN AL HAFRI RESTURANT”... Never judge a book from its cover hahahahahaha...

I know what’s on your mind right now... NO WAY to buy anything from this restaurant!! But we did, and it’s delicious the Parata bread is YUUMI and the Karak is A MUST :D

We decided to try it, because so many people recommended it… so we did

I enjoyed my time with you mom, 5alteh skyfox and black diamond’s and we missed You Ganati

One more thing, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to visit India village

I saw my friend and she was carrying the most adorable BAG EVERRRR!! It’s a local business which is called “sogah”...

I’m looking for having my own BAG, because I’m totally in love with it.
