In India u can be a MP even if u r ssc fail but to be a corporate Insurance agent u hv to have post graduate degree. Therefore inspite of being B.Com from Mumbai University ( and of time when education was not on sale by tuition classes) , and with an expirience of 15 yrs of selling insurance, having achieved MDRT, Double croreopati agent , triple crorepati agent, Branch Managers club member etc my Corporate agency of Cholamandlam has been closed by IRDA as they want only post graduates to be corporate insurance agent.

If our most MPs were not scamsters, illiterate, partisan, then even IRDA Chief would not have been IRDA Chief. And with such qualifications of his boss he has framed a rule of this type.

Definitely there was wrong selling by many agents but only due to coaching of Insurance co.s but IRDA has made rule against only agents where as they should have acted against insurance cos. And builders and many others can do what they like there r no norms for them as all top mafias/ politicians/ govt officials are partner with builders. But Insurance cos, IRDA, Ombudsman, Insurance council, Consumer courts all have govt nominees as chief / or those who r govt. pets / pests. So how will they bell their own folks so we see everything happening against Agents and consumers/ policy holders and claimants.

There is no open forum where we can see IRDA pests and vent out ( seeking redressal is high hope).

We were a corporate agent of Cholamanadalam for years. They did not inform that due to the new guideline of IRDA our agency will be terminated and they deceivingly kept accepting premiums from us for our clients. And in Indian conditions clients r most callous and runaways if we ask for premium renewal cheque. I am paying salary of Rs 15K to my assistant who knows not marketing but only does follow up of clients , and insurer who do not issue policies timely, nor issue commission in time and claim nightmare with most co.s specially TPA of United India etc etc.

All these salary and efforts and relations and career of Insurance are nothing for IRDA and Cholamandalam and they have not paid my commission for last over two years. Can I go anywhere??? No as all are chor chor mausere bhai.

This is India where there is no voice for common-men but common-men know not this and instead of supporting Annaji are supporting such govt ( politicians and bureaucrats.).

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Monday urged the Delhi government to take steps to set up night shelters in and around all government hospitals in the city to protect patients and relatives from the biting cold and expressed happiness over the prompt action taken by All India Institute of Medical Sciences in this regard.

A bench of Justices Dalveer Bhandari and Dipak Misra said poor people requiring specialized treatment came to Delhi from all over the country.

"The difficulty is the inadequacy of infrastructure available at the hospitals. Delhi probably needs many more AIIMS like hospitals to cater to people coming to Delhi from all over India. And at this time of the year, the government must take steps to protect and preserve human lives from biting cold by building night shelters in all government hospitals in the city," the bench said.

The joint inspection of night shelters carried out by the court commissioners and the officials of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board ( DUSIB) showed that many of those using the night shelters were old and destitute, and were suffering from critical illnesses in the absence of health care.

The SC asked Delhi government to inspect all the night shelters, identify those needing medical help and admit those in government hospitals who needed constant medical attention.

Dear All,

I am coowner of a property known as Saburi, Vakola, Santacruz East.

Here r details of the property.

As per a senior architect the even going by a conservative calculations the property will fetch a sale price of Rs 24 Cr.

But when I want to sell to a builder they r offering Rs 10 Cr. The cost of constructions will be Rs 6 cr. .

So by investing their time, effort and money ( Rs 16 cr ) (that too not in one go and in many cases on Bhumi puja they r able to recover quite a handsome amount)

the builder will earn 9 CR in 2 years. Nearly 40% return per annum. Here we have not considered price rise benefits which a builder will have in next two years, he will sell garage/ parking spaces etc etc ...

That is how builders have become 0 cr party to 1000cr to 1lac cr parties in last 20 yrs.

The redevelopment does not require any extraordinary skills. Architects, civil engineers, contractors, etc etc r available at one call but what makes landlord fails is :

Indian rent act courts ( In MH they call it small causes courts???? Funny is n't it??? Is property a small issue?? ) which takes 25 years + for deciding matters and gives stay/ injunctions thru influential advocates who share the booty ( they do not charge fees but ask for a bigger share) who further share it.
Finance Ministry, RBI, Banks. : While PM,FM,RBI and SBI allowed to give 1500 cr of common men to one dacoit Vijay Mallaya who watered it in to drains but same ppl do not allow financing land owners against their valuable property.

What I want:

I just want Rs 2.5 cr for ( which is less then then 25% of market value of property ) from banks or financiers to redevelop my own property preserved for decades inspite of harassment by tenants and courts , hardships, losses on daily basis.The property will be fully mortgaged to banks/ financier. If they like barter then we can give them area against loan amount in newly constructed building.
Some body of panchas / group of citizenery from neighborhood from area who will measure ( I do not want ppl from govt and politics who r purchasable commodity) who can record actual area let out to tenant ( as all tenants r using / claiming extra rights which becomes bone of dissensions) so that I can rehabilitate tenant post redevelopment.
One window approval for building proposal so even other then mafias do redevelopment. presently even after giving bribe of Rs 500/- per sq ft to BMC staff getting plans sanctioned is nightmare.

Everyone who is frequently falling sick must send their milk for testing for quality. But we r penny wise and pound foolish so neither find time nor money ( which is just few bucks) for sending samples for testing. Since our bureaucrats want trillions for their impotent and incapable to earn children they let this adulteration go on against huge bribe. Once a ghee wholesaler told me since I do not sell adulterated ghee the officers harass me every Diwali where as who sell adulterated ghee and bribe are never raided or if raided then bribe is higher and he is let off ceremoniously.

I had written to MP's that thru their MP lad fund they must start in their area food testing lab but they want to gulp same hence no one started.

I want to start charitable food testing lab but want know how. Can some one help????

New Delhi: Beware, your daily glass of good health could actually be doing you harm. As much as 70% of milk samples picked up from the capital by a government agency failed to conform to standards.

Of the 71 samples randomly taken from Delhi for testing by the Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), 50 were found to be contaminated with glucose and skim milk powder SMP), which is usually added to milk in the lean season to enhance volumes.

Elsewhere in the 33 states and UTs study, milk was found adulterated with detergent, fat and even urea, besides the age-old dilution with water. Across the country, 68.4% of the samples were found contaminated.
Only in Goa and Puducherry did 100% of the samples tested conform to required standards. At the other end were West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa and Mizoram, where not a single sample tested met the norms.

Other prominent states fared just a shade better. Around 89% of the samples tested from Gujarat, 83% from Jammu & Kashmir, 81% from Punjab, 76% from Rajasthan, 70% from Delhi and Haryana and 65% from Maharashtra failed the test. Around half of the samples from Madhya Pradesh (48%) also met a similar fate.

States with comparatively better results included Kerala where 28% of samples did not conform to the FSSAI standards, Karnataka (22%), Tamil Nadu (12%) and Andhra Pradesh (6.7%).

The samples were collected randomly and analysed from 33 states totaling a sample size of 1,791. Just 31.5% of the samples tested (565) conformed to the FSSAI standards while the rest 1,226 (68.4%) failed the test. Detergent found in over 8% of tested milk

A study conducted by Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) across 33 states has found that milk was adulterated with detergent, fat and even urea, besides the age-old practice of diluting it with water. Across the country, 68.4% of the samples were found contaminated.

These were sent to government laboratories like Department of Food and Drug Testing of Puducherry, Central Food Laboratory in Pune, Food Reasearch and Standardization Laboratory in Ghaziabad, State Public Health Laboratory in Guwahati and Central Food Laboratory, Kolkata, for testing against presence of adulterants like fat, neutralizers, hydrogen peroxide, sugar, starch, glucose, urea, detergent, formalin and vegetable fat.

Detergent was found in 103 samples (8.4%). “This was because milk tanks were not properly washed. Detergents in milk can cause health problems,” FSSAI official told TOI. The non-conforming samples in rural areas numbered 381 (31%) out of which 64 (16.7%) were packet milk and 317 (83.2%) were loose samples.

In urban areas, the number of non-confirming samples were 845 (68.9%) out of which 282 (33.3%) were packed and 563 (66.6%) were loose.

The most common adulteration was that of fat and solid not food (SNF), found in 574 (46.8%) of the non-conforming samples. This, scientists say, is because of dilution of milk with water. The second highest parameter of non-conformity was skim milk powder in 548 samples (44.69%) which includes presence of glucose in 477 samples. Glucose could have been added to milk probably to enhance SNF.

The report asked state enforcement authorities to check whether the new FSSAI rules are being complied with. An earlier first-of-its-kind study of milk boiling habits that involved 2,400 women across eight major cities had found that Chandigarh leads the pack in boiling milk, doing it more than three times a day. While 84% women in Kolkata boiled milk for more than five minutes, about 46% of women in Pune preferred to boil milk in high temperatures. The study, by the Indian Medical Academy, said, “About 49% boil milk more than thrice before consumption. Around 56% boil it for more than 5 minutes, and 73% don’t stir while boiling,” said Dr Pawan Gupta, IMA.

TNN Times View This only confirms that food adulteration is common in India. Even milk, consumed primarily by children, isn’t spared. What’s particularly worrying is the kind of substances used to adulterate, including toxic chemicals. This shows the trade off between the risk of getting caught and the ‘reward’ of huge profits is skewed heavily in favour of the latter. The government must focus on raising the risks to the adulterator. One way of doing this is by hiking the penalty, including making it analogous to attempt to murder in extreme cases. It’s equally important to regularly check foodstuff for adulteration and ensure speedy trials.

Man is known by the company he keeps. And to get a right company a school with a difference is required as most part of innocent young minds r spent in a school and that is where if atmosphere is different then development is different.

In ancient times children were not allowed to be influenced by parents or neighbour so they were sent to Gurukul and they developed a unbiased personality. Presently the schools are giving an environment where rich and influential get different treatment, where sanskar is fogotten, eating habits r not as per Jainism , personality is developed to compete and not to be a good human.....and so on.....but wasted ur and my time .....bye ....

The moot point here is the moral and values instilled and regularly demonstrated by the parents & relatives and the community in which the the child lives. We as a community owe a lot to the new generation. Just by pointing our fingers at Schools (could be a convent) we cant shun our responsibilities. As you are also aware, you can have some schools in some areas but we cant have all schools built by jain and which propagate Jainsm. That could be a near to immpossible task, better and easier way is to teach our kids at home and in community. Various sects of jainism believe in building temples and there are religious as well as non religious reasons for having such a large number of temples or derasars. Building of school and college has nothing to do with building of temples as you are also well aware that many people who donate in name of temple will not even pay a single penny for building of school. Further, running of schools requires a professional setup and is governed by regulations made by the statute.

As a follower of jainism it is our primary duty to follow the religion in true spirit and make our children understand that they are reallly fortunate to have born as a janmana jain. They will become real jain only if they follow the lifestyle of jainism.

I would therefore request that we stop complaining and start living like a true jain. Probably, this would guide our kids to learn and understand the right things incl religion.

Hope, I have not hurt sentiments of any one.

Thanks to all of you ( in BCC) who have sent me new year wishes by mail / sms . But most part of our life is controlled by govt. and since there is no change in their attitude this year like my past years too will be heading bad to worst. Only hope was LOKPAL bill but the common-men,juniors in govt, military, police,poor,students,women , down trodden have failed to pressurize adamant politicians to pass same and have chosen to continue to suffer and chosen to make top politicians, bureaucrats,unethical capitalists owner of scam booty of thousands of crores stacked in Swiss bank etc.etc..

So no hope. Your and my wishes are like building castle in the air by chanting mantras. No for having a happy new year we have to come out from our shell and rise to check the corruption, delay, harassment and scams.

Final order by SIC/CIC in RTI case with in 15days.
Revamping of judiciary with FIFO method ( today influential corrupt advocates are able to see that their own cases r dealt with in few years but cases filed by opponents/ or which ones will go against them are not seeing light of day for decades.
Educate common-men how they will benefit when Swiss money is brought back. Make a dream plan and show them on TV and create hope for better life.
Ensure honest,well settled in life with no criminal background candidates contest and win and see that govt gives proper exposure to all candidates and no priveate funds are used to rig the elections.

Around 50 people will conduct a fast rally at Azad Maidan,opposing veteran activist Anna Hazares move to fast at the MMRDA ground in the Bandra-Kurla Complex on Tuesday.
Uttar Bharatiya Vikas Parishad members have sought permission to conduct the fast at Azad Maidan.But it is subject to a hearing of their public interest litigation (PIL) filed in the Bombay High Court (HC).
Mangaleshwar (Munna) Tripathi,president of the parishad and a Congress leader,moved the HC on Monday to prevent Hazares fast from Tuesday over the government Lokpal Bill.
We will get to know tomorrow if the court accepts our petition.We will go to Azad Maidan for our fast rally only after the high court decision, said Tripathi on Monday.
Tripathi alleged that what Anna was doing was illegal.
Anna is resorting to blackmailing the government.If the court stops Annas andolan,I wont go in for a hunger strike.I am not against the anti-corruption rally.But the method used by Anna is wrong.When the Lokpal Bill has been introduced and debated in the winter session of Parliament,Annas protest was uncalled for and this was repeatedly said by Justice Majmudar,recently in the HC, said Tripathi.
He further said that any issue should be raised in a constitutional manner and without resorting to pressure tactics such as a jail bharo andolan and fasting.Tripathi filed the petition before the vacation court through his lawyer Yusuf Iqbal Yusuf.

Lohar Chawl is a famous old name and a landmark. But one can go for a renaming . no issues. But as association asked for renaming did association ask for improved civic amenities, freeing traffic, more parking and so many daily irritants and did u get any of these. BMC elections r arriving and all dirty politicians r trying to woo voters on silly / non issues.

Demand actions on important issues and no need to hold function on renaming , nothing achieved.

Being a electrical market develop some rare fountain/ circle/ on the lines of Disney ( but on a small island as land is scarce there) so many more tourist / shoppers visit market and it becomes popular by achieving / contributing something and not by just renaming where nothing changes and politicians use this as there campaign platform.

I think most of the dealers had been to Singapore / China etc ( I had been to Singapore with other electrical market dealers in 1984 thru Orient fans) and must be knowing that we r 50 years behind all these countries. But we as fools only ask for renaming and get happy. I willl come to take photo of same chowk which will be full of Paan spits in a month .

Alok's opinion on beating of teachers at the instance of parents

I do not know the full story but ......
At most occasions / for most of us respect is to be commended
media is responsible for loosing right behavior
media / govt / we only pay attention when someone reacts violently and not before that. Say if parents visit 100 times with folded hands to Princi/ eduaction dept etc but will never get due attention lest a justice ( and media will never cover their suffering but if they take help of a musclemen / force/ violence then ir will come in media instantly.
all concerned depts , ombudsman, vigilance committee, courts are a either sell out/ delaying or having sympathy towards the officers/ depts against whom they r supposed to be strict if public grievances come but that never happens and hence Dawood, MNS and others come in picture.

Some want instant justice and cant wait for god to do that in next janam. Either improve system to redress grievances or similar things will / shall/ and must happen and cant label vent out / suppressed exploitation when explodes as a terrorism.

When did our education inculcate tolerance to the extent that ur child is beaten/ several wrongs daily happen to u in hospitals, injustice and delay in courts , callousness in police stations,loot in banks by heavy charges , harassment at the time u claim from insurance etc etc.. and u commonmen is expected to bear all this notority silently ???? This is high order , cheap condemnation.

Only rich and influential get the redressal in our system. Only their children get VIP treatment so they feel everything is right and common men are wrong !!!! Shame.

It is teachers who r trained to deal without beating, it is police who r trained to sense troubles, it is principal who is trained to win confidence of irritated parents . They all failed and we call suffering parents terrorists??? I want malham to be applied to affected parents, suffering citizens and others.

My addenda to a mail of Sangita Sopte abt condition of her building ( her mail is below my reply) ...

Thank you for this info. otherwise I was thinking that my building is dirtiest as:

There r 5 tenants and trespassers. Only one of them pays rent which is Rs 30/- p.m. .

There is a dhobi hut and inducted by a bullying tenant who does all the mess in the building.

Other tenants dont pay but rape the whole building to core.

Local politicians and ward officers have taken Rs 10 lacs each from illegal migrants and allowed unauthorized shade in front of my building.

Saffronists party has a tempo union and promotes and safeguards illegal migrants to have a illegal tempo stand all around my building.
Prominent UP leader who has made 1500 crores in Mumbai in last 20 years under the nose of sena Tiger advised them not to pay Rs 300/-

for parking under flyover and cause traffic jam. And they eat paan worth Rs 1000/- pm and spit all over and park for free tempos and are promoted by saffron party.

Every year I write to BMC to clear choked drains but they dont and our compound gets flooded every monsoon and our local corporator a son of a hawker has built palatial house in UP with swimming pool.

And so on.....and still if u say your building is dirties then I am happy that some one is above me.

And if u want to improve condotion of your building and locality then sell a flat to a IPS/IRS/IAS or mafia politician or selfish people like Lata Mangeshakar ( she cud stop a much needed project for a decade due to her selfish nature and influence) , or buy a flat next to a poserful neta, officer as all funds are spent on the locality where they live. If u want to verify then I can take u round the VIP areas and you will realise the facts. .......Alok

Recently I was in a conference organised at the behest of a well respected saint. The speakers after speaker were diverting from topic of the day and getting indulged in bestowing lots of praises of respected saint ( which he deserves too).The speakers were totally evading the main topic. I wrote to saint that pl. inspire speakers to majorly cover the topic in their speech and not otherwise. He read and kept my note on one side. According to me that is also a corruption. I complimented Justice R J Kochar for being only blunt and honest speaker ( honest to topic of the day) during lunch break and added Sir I give you 100% where as to this graet saint I give only 95%. In a conference of advocates ( where I was not eligible as a delegate but allowed to be observe as guest) at goregaon held recently the speaker after speaker were doing lal ( flattery) of newly elect Presi. And the topic was just forgotten. Is not that corruption??? In conference of fast justice where the then law minister was present, many ex-justice, and many dignitaries were present like Medha Patkar, etc.. In few minutes I lost my cool as a leading ex justice Dharmadhikariji himself was talking on totally different experiences then what, why and how to get fast justice delivered in India. I raised point of order and stopped all that and asked the Chair of conference to stick to the topic. The presiding officer had to. Most activists spoke on how bad and slow is a judicial system and how the justice can be speeded up but again a aspiring politician came and started talking abt other important issues but not relevant to topic for which conference was called. This time I made heightened hue and cry specially when I was a registered delegate. This politician is good, but this was no platform for increasing vote bank. So Manmohanji as per me is most corrupt Prime minister as he has no control over his governments doings. He may not be taking bribe but he is silent on various issues which one should thru even fufkaro lekin kato mat mantra boost image of party and govt. His men's scathing attacks on people like Annaji etc and on the other hand giving impression that if it was not the Judiciary no scams would have been unearth and dealt with. That means he is encouraging many other sitting ready to do scams and worst is his remark in support of Vijay Mallaya bail out. He has no time to bail out poverty stricken dying farmers, widows, children and does not think of bailing them out , does not think of mahngai/ inflation and does not think of bailing out good hospitals, charitable, welfare institutions but trying to bail out Kingfisher!!! Besides this huge wastage of public resources, he also found that many things were not in order. LIC is not bailing out them. Manmohan not asking LIC to bail out its investors who have made losses due to false promises given by LIC thru agents and before the last day of closing of those ULIP's the branches of LIC were collecting premiums till dawn next day. Poor villagers and others have morgaged their personal belongings and valueables and to bail out small LIC itaken ULIPS and now these ULIPS are in loss. Many LIC clients have it seems committed suicide due to losses. Has ever Manmohan / Sonia / Digvijay/ Kapil Sibbal / Prafull have ever thought of bailing out any of loosing poor investors of LIC???? My marathi manoos bai who worked in various houses as domestic servent is bed ridden due to damage to backbone ( paraplegic), her husband already had paralytic attack. They have two daughters. One has taken over her mothers work and other is studying. They r unable to meet their expenses. I asked them to get a BPL card so that they can be treated in good hospital for free. The marathi manoos officers asked for huge bribe and gave lenghty procdure for illetrate , ailing poor senior citizens. But one who lands today from UP/Bihar / bangla desh gets taxi / auto permit/ unauthorised hut and then free house/ unauthorised stall and they are all helped and saved by marathi speaking officers.
