Queerty bloggers and their readers lobbied Logo and HRC to allow Gravel, one of the more positive candidates on gay issues to attend the Aug 9th debate. Originally he was excluded because he failed to raise enough money. I wonder if this will help distinguish between Clinton and Obama though.

Both Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinick support same-sex marriage, but all other candidates do not.

Others (straights and some weirdo gays) complain about the existence of the political debate on gay issues. I'd say it's just like the candidates going to the Congressional Black Caucus debate.

Link Wasn't the movie based on a short story? I mean why doesn't she file against Annie Proulx? I guess the movie made more money than the short story, but it seems rather obvious money grubbing. A lot of stories have similar elements. I'd bet the BBM short story was written well before the down low book and so isn't there room for a counter-suit?
