My dad taught me so much over the years. The last 10 months has been really hard since he passed away. My dad made me the person i am today. If you didn't know my dad personally look at me. I am just like him i have his sense of humor, attitude, stubbornness, and the list goes on. One thing is for sure i was blessed with my mom's short genes so i am not tall like my dad. My dad was such a fighter he worked so hard to make sure his family was taken care of. I enjoyed every single moment i spent with him i just wish i had more time with him but someday i will. I am a stronger person today because of my dad! It just sucks not having my dad here to talk to when something happens. I just wish people didn't take for granite what they have. People need to cherish their relationships with there dad's before it is to late. You only have one mother and father and when they are gone it will be to late. My dad was my hero he never gave up he fought to the end and still refused to give up. I had to tell him to stop fighting for us girls that we can handle this fight on our own now and go be free. The hardest thing in my entire life was my dad's last three days of his life watching him die and not being able to do anything or stop it. I was right beside him when he took his last breath here on earth and it was truly amazing looking back i was right by his side as he crossed over and joined God at his heavenly gate. That is what makes me happy knowing this Father's day my dad is enjoying his day in heaven walking, talking, eating, and most importanly he is PAINFREE!!!!! ALS is an awful disease and it has truly affected my life forever!! I am an ALS warrior for life now i will fight untill the end for a cure for ALS!!
