Feathers

2010-06-20T18:39:00.000-07:00

I'm too afraid to look at the sky,
For the stars remind me of eternal joy,
And I don't believe in hope,
It seems like failure's ploy..

I don't smile too often
for it may be my last one,
And I don't play along,
for I'm scared of fun..

But when I close my eyes,
I feel free,
Even if I'm dead
this darkness enlightens me..

For when I dream a dream,
I see beautiful things,
I become what I want to
I can spread my wings..

So please don't wake me,

And if I'm dead don't shed tears,

Don't color my wings with your dreams,

And don't pluck away my feathers..

If You Can Tell Me

2010-03-28T03:40:00.000-07:00

I'll shoot a man,

if you can tell me,

there won't be a tear shed.

I'll win a battle,

if you can tell me,

there won't be a family dead.

I'll not mourn for the enemy,

if you can tell me,

there won't be any sadness.

I'll fight this war for your propaganda,

if you can tell me,

you won't repeat this madness.

The Days of Your Life

2010-02-28T21:40:00.000-08:00

A rebel without a cause,

An useless rampage without a pause,

A wish for victory without any struggle,

I'm just a lost battle.

But you are my song,

And when I see you I see nothing wrong,

You is what I believe in,

You are most beautiful sin.

Its not my days that matter,

For myself I don't strive,

All I care is for you,

And the days of your life.

Holi

2010-02-27T18:44:00.000-08:00

Will the colors be not of blood?

Will it not rain tears?

As I walk around with a fake smile,

Will I be saved from my fears?

This is Holi,

Let it be a happy one,

I'm tired of tragedies,

Can I have a little fun?

This is Holi,

So shed no blood,

Let us be free of hatred and terror..

With colors of happiness,

Let the streets flood.

You & I

2010-02-27T06:26:00.000-08:00

You & I

When I fall

Its a new way to rise,

And when I fall in Love

Happiness is no surprise,

May be I am struggling

And I'm crying,

But You & I together

Makes everything seem fine.
