Wikipedia plans to add voice recordings of famous peoples to Wiki Pages.
Wikipedia is world's biggest encyclopedia has announced a new project called Wikipedia Voice Intro Project (WikiVIP) which will lunch very soon. The project introduced by Wikipedia editor Andy Mabett. Now further on words you can listen your favorite ideal person's voice in Wikipedia articles. British Actor Stephen Fry is he first contributor of this project.

It involves sound clips up to 10 seconds of famous people who have their own article on Wikipedia. This project is used for music, the specific sound of cars, major speeches of presidents, the sound of birds, etc. But the possibilities are endless.

Andy said himself:

GMail Down for me

What's up guys!!! Today is India's 65th Republic Day. Wish you all Happy Republic Day.

I know that Gmail is down for some users from 24th January. But today when I login to Gmail, I can't access Gmail. It shows "Sorry, there seems to be a problem. The service you're looking for is temporarily unavailable. We're working hard to restore your access as soon as possible. Please try again in a few hours. Thanks for your patience."
And I take a screen shot of that. Take a look on that.

Please let me know how many peoples face same problems through your comments.

Yahoo Mail Enable HTTPS by Default for Their Users

Although Yahoo has HTPPS or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption support since late 2012 but this feature is not enabled by default before. For that you have to set it manually.

Just take a look on how we enable HTTPS in Yahoo Mail before.

After Sign in your Yahoo Mail account mouse over the Settings Menu Icon and select Settings.
Then Click on Security.
Now Select the checkbox next to "Always use https."
After that click on Save.

After that setting you can get HTTPS encryption support. Rather than set it manually now you can get this feature by default in your Yahoo Mail. This features gives you more security rather than HTTP.

If you remember that how many friend request you have sent then you can easily trace otherwise you can't know who didn't accept your friend request.

Now click Find Friends.

After that click on View Sent Requests.

Today is 31st December 2013, the last day of this year. Last evening of 2013, last sun of 2013 has spread its shine on earth. It's all about today.

I started this blog on December 8, 2012. And now its already 1 year old.

Since I didn't get any job after completion my Master Degree & I was pretty depressed & frustrated. So, I took that negative energy and channeled it into something positive. Most of time I spent on Internet, surfing many websites, and finally thinking about create a blog. This blog was a positive outlet for me as my life went through depression. Now I have 98 Facebook fan page follower and more than 400 Facebook group member in my blog.

Thanks to all my readers, who like me love to read articles in my blog. Wish you very very happy new year 2014.

Gmail.

Now go to Settings.
Now Click on Labs tab.
Then Find SMS (text messaging) in Chat.
Now Enable it as shown in below picture.

Click on Save Changes.
Now type your friend Mobile Number and Click on Send SMS.

Then Save the number.

Now you can Send free SMS to your friend Mobile Number. If your friend reply you then it(the message) will show in chat box window.

Protect Your Browser with Password

Hi folks, coming again with another Google Chrome extension. Generally what browsers do? Browsers save our entire information like saved password, browsing history, download history, auto-fill form data, and cache. And this data could be easily viewed by anyone who uses your computer.

Now main question arise, how to protect these data?

If you want to protect all these data in Google Chrome then you can do it easily with the help of a add on.

OK, let’s have a look on it.

Download the extension from here.
Click the Install button.
After installing the extension click wrench icon at the top right corner and go to Tools then Extensions.
Now click on option, you find it just below on Simple Startup Password Extension.
Enter the login password.
That’s all. Now close the browser and open the Google Chrome browser again. See what happen? First it asks for login password. If you put the wrong password then the browser will close.

If you want to change the password then go to wrench icon > Tools > Extensions > Simple Startup Password > Options. Then change the password and click on Save.

You can install this extension in Google Chrome as well as Torch Browser (Download Torch Browser)

Do you want to create a PDF file? Thinking about how much the software cost, and where to purchase all these things. Don’t bother about this. You can create PDF file without using any software? Google Chrome makes it easy for their users.

OK, let’s have a look on it:

First we discuss how to save a website as PDF file.

Open the website in Google Chrome, which you want to save in PDF.
Then press CTRL+P, a new screen will open asking for print the web page.
Now see the left pane and click the change button. Another screen will open and select Save as PDF and choose your destination to save your file.
See the below screen shot.

Now we discuss how to create PDF file using Google Chrome.

Open any document (Ex: .doc or .docx file), click on File, then click on Save as, then select Save as type as webpage. Then repeat the process what I discuss earlier in “how to save a website as PDF file”.

You can implement this method in two browsers only (as I tested), one is Google Chrome and other one is TorchBrowser, Please check other browsers.

I tried this trick on Google Chrome and Torch Browser. Please check your browser whether this effect work or not. I think this effect won’t work in Internet Explorer.
