This mixed media-based class will allow children to explore and learn about many art materials and techniques and is designed to give young artists an appreciation and understanding of art history in a fun and creative way. In a studio filled with exciting materials and tools, students will turn their ideas into works of art that will be their very own masterpieces! First Friday Night Art Walk This Friday, January 6, 2011
from 5:00-9:00 PM
Inside the Institute, we will be introducing a new Artist to our group. Jim Cox, from Ranchos De Taos, New Mexico will be here to do a live demo. Please come and watch while he demonstrates and view some of his works.
 Also, we will have all of our new class brochures, creative workshops, and master workshops currently scheduled for the 2012 year out. Come check out what all we will be offering this year!
A kids table will be set up so your children can color art works like Monet, Rembrant, Van Gogh, etc. as well.
 Come enjoy free food and drinks, live entertainment, and of course LOTS OF ART!!
The “Galleries at Sunset Center” are a collective group of 55+ galleries and 100+ artists in a unique setting. Friday Night they will all be open for the public to view and purchase paintings, photography, sculpture, carpet weaving, etc by Amarillo artists.
