Pagsanjan Falls - Laguna, PhilippinesPagsanjan Falls is one of the most famed waterfalls in the Philippines. The falls have grown into a major tourist attraction for the region. Pagsanjan is most famous for these falls in particular. The town itself dates from early Spanish times and lies at the confluence of two rivers, the Balanac and the Bombongan.

While popularly known as the Pagsanjan Falls, locally they are "Magdapio Falls," after the legendary patriarch. Their actual location is not in Pagsanjan at all but in the adjacent town of Cavinti.

The province of Laguna boasts of seven rivers and seven lakes, as well as a plentitude of streams, waterfalls,springs, and rivulets. But of all these, nothing is more famous and exciting than Pagsanjan Falls.

Speak of Pagsanjan Falls and immediately shooting the rapids comes to mind. Visitors flock to this small town in the heart of Laguna for the thrilling canoe ride through the 14 rapids of the Bombongan River.

The five-kilometer journey winds through foliage, steep canyons, and deep gorges dotted by cascading waters. The ride culminates at the Pagsanjan Falls. Here, those who don't mind getting drenched can ride the raft which goes right through the thundering waterfalls

Upon their return, those who braved the ride can stroll around the orchidarium or take an afternoon tour to the many points of interest nearby: man-made Lake Caliraya, the Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery, the embroideries of Lumban town, the woodcarvers of Paete, the papier mache craftsmen of Pakil, the shoemakers of Liliw. A great many towns also boast of lovely historic churches.

Christ the Redeemer, is a statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue stands 38 metres (120 ft) tall weighs 700 short tons (635 tonnes), and is located at the peak of the 700 metres (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city. It is the tallest of its kind in the world. It is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone.

A symbol of Christianity, the statue has become an icon of Rio and Brazil.

The statue was designed by Brazilian Heitor da Silva Costa and created by French sculptor Paul Landowski, it is one of the world’s best-known monuments. The statue took five years to construct and was inaugurated on October 12, 1931. It has become a symbol of the city and of the warmth of the Brazilian people, who receive visitors with open arms.

Kalandula Falls - Second Highest Falls in Africa

Kalandula Falls are waterfalls in Malanje Province, Angola. At 104 meters high (344 feet). They are the second highest falls in Africa. The falls are more commonly known as Duque de Braganca Falls. This name was used pre-independance and since 1976 the falls have been known as Kalendula.

The Kalundula falls are an awesome sight waterfalls. The falls is located 85 kilometers from the provincial capital of Malange. Numerous enormous waterfalls can be found in Angola, while the most impressive are the Kalandula Waterfalls on the river Lucala.

Nature And It's ElementsNature, in the broadest sense, is equivalent to the natural world, physical universe, material world or material universe. "Nature" refers to the phenomena of the physical world, and also to life in general. Nature is generally distinguished from the supernatural. It ranges in scale from the subatomic to the galactic.

Nature may refer to the general realm of various types of living plants and animals, and in some cases to the processes associated with inanimate objects – the way that particular types of things exist and change of their own accord, such as the weather and geology of the Earth, and the matter and energy of which all these things are composed. It is often taken to mean the "natural environment" or wilderness – wild animals, rocks, forest, beaches, and in general those things that have not been substantially altered by human intervention, or which persist despite human intervention.

Nature is generally distinguished from the supernatural. It ranges in scale from the subatomic to the galactic.

What are the ancient "elements of nature" ?

Earth, Water, Air and Fire are the generally known and often quoted ancient elements of nature,
within which, and through which, life (including humanity) has prevailed and evolved.

Element Earth - The element earth is the name given to all material living and non-living substance on the planet, with the exception of air and water. The diversity of the ancient element earth is thus of extremely high order. Earth is the generic metaphysical name applied to all substances within the terrestrial environment. Whereas by chemical and atomic analysis, the hundred plus different atomic elements are uniquely specified as the atomic elements, the ancient element earth encompasses them all. In the form of food, to be ingested into the metabolic matrix of living systems, it shares, along with its fellow ancient elements of nature, its status an element of life, an element of survival.

Element Water - Water is one of the four classical elements in ancient Greek philosophy and science. It was commonly associated with the qualities of emotion and intuition. In astrology, those with planets in Water signs are often assessing a situation by its undercurrents. It can give them an air of being aloof or even shy at first, but they're the warmest of souls when you've won their trust.
