Devo assolutamente riuscire a:

-Comprare una levigatrice per legno e ri-dipingere le sedie della mia cucina.

-Svegliarmi alle 5 di mattina, aprire tende e balconi, e aspettare l'alba bevendo una tisana allo zenzero.

-Riuscire a leggere più libri possibile.

-Fare un pomeriggio intero di shopping on-line.

-Leggere ogni giorno il giornale, dalla prima all'ultima pagina.

-Uscire a cena con il mio uomo, facendo finta di esserci appena conosciuti.

-Riordinare la cabina-armadio.

-Mangiare un sacco di piatti orientali, guardando lui mentre li cucina.

-Bere molto vino rosso sul calice.

-Guardare tutti i dvd di Conan, il ragazzo del futuro.

I absolutely must be able to:

-Buy a sander for wood and re-paint the chairs in my kitchen.
-Waking up at 5 in the morning, open the curtains and balconies, and wait for the dawn drinking herbal tea with ginger.
-Being able to read more books as possible.
-Make a whole afternoon of shopping online.
-Read the newspaper every day, from the first page.
-Exit at dinner with my man, pretending to be just met.
-Restore the dressing.

(Ovviamente ispirata dalle situazioni atmosferiche in divenire)

Crebbi con un certo rispetto e riverenza verso un oggetto in particolare: l'ombrello.

Mia madre, sin da quando ero bimba, contribuì in grossa parte all'operazione,

così che in 28 anni di vita non ne ho mai perso o rotto uno.

Scoprii con gli anni quanto fosse rara la mia situazione,

soprattutto nel periodo adolescenziale, quando la cosa che avveniva più di frequente,

dopo gli sbalzi d'umore, era la perdita dell'ombrello.

Solo ultimamente, ed inconsapevolmente, si è modificato il mio rapporto verso l'oggetto in questione,

piano piano sempre meno usato,

e ormai definitivamente lasciato nel bagagliaio della macchina solo per casi estremi.

Pensionamento probabilmente causato

dalla mia oramai totale intolleranza al motivo del suo uso.

Devo dirlo a mia madre, pensai. Ne rimarrà delusa. Sua figlia non usa l'ombrello.

Qualche giorno fà però, il mondo della rete,

mi diede l'input perfetto per dargli nuova vita.

Non occorre avvisare mia madre,

lo continuerò ad usare.

"Ma cosa te ne fai di tutte quelle scodelle, piatti, tazze etc. che continui a prendere??"

Mi piace molto cucinare, prevalentemente per 2 motivi:

il primo, perchè io adoro mangiare...

il secondo, perchè adoro usare le innumerevoli tazze, cup, scodelle, piatti, mestoli,

fruste (etc etc...) che mi ritrovo in cucina...

In più è sabato, e fuori piove.

I really like cooking, mainly for 2 reasons:

the first, because I love to eat ...

the second, because I love to use the countless mugs, cups, bowls, plates, ladles,

whips (etc etc ...) that I find myself in the kitchen ...

Plus, it's Saturday, and it's raining outside.

Ok, ammettiamolo, l'autunno è arrivato...

Non farò mistero di preferire le alte temperature e le lunghe giornate di sole,

ma è inutile litigare con l'inevitabile divenire delle stagioni.

Dato che ogni escamotage è valido per alleviare la malinconia,

ci si inventa il rito del primo bagno d'autunno.

Sicuramente meno agognato di quello estivo....

...chiaramente meno noto dato che me lo sono inventato io...

...inevitabilmente fatto dentro una vasca e non dentro all'oceano...

ma probabilmente altrettanto memorabile.

Sono sempre stata per la totale ed assoluta parità di ruoli e diritti,

schivando consapevolmente ed abilmente l'essere femminista.

Ma non posso negare certe evidenti...differenze.
