Feelings and hopes and whatnot

Last night's cam session was one of those super interesting, overstimulating ones. Where you go through such a range of feelings and highs and lows that the next day, you just want to talk about it to help it sink in and sort out thoughts.

I actually hit my awesome daily token goal last night. That was the first instance of that happening outside of a MegaMonth/AAA Month for over a year.

I don't know if that last statement will really mean much to you, but I have a feeling at least a handful of cam girls can relate to it. For those girls who have been at this camming gig for at least a few years, it's really likely they've gone through periods of time where meeting daily goals just doesn't feel as carefree and natural as it once did. It can really do a number on your psyche! Lately for me it's been an adjustment, as I used to be able to hit goals like that pretty frequently and now it's so rare. But my plan has been to stay upbeat, keep chugging along, trying a couple of different time slots here and there, keep making new monthly content and posting sales or games a couple times a week. And I have really been enjoying my time on cam, the chats with my regulars, and some of the fun shows and silly moments we encounter, even if I haven't been making the same goals I was once used to. But last night, a combination of silly girly hormones, a couple of trollish weirdos, and an incredibly slow first hour led to me opening up to my viewers and letting them know how frustrating it can be to feel so out of control of my own success.

You would think that viewers would respond negatively to that sort of honesty from a cam girl. We are supposed to be these beacons of light and happiness that they visit to escape their own frustrating realities. To some people, cam girls are not allowed to complain or verbalize that they desire compensation for their time and effort (and thus are labeled "spoiled" or "entitled" when they do.) But people seemed to be very receptive and understanding to what I was saying, and there was an outpouring of support that really made me feel heard, appreciated, and welcomed. It was beautiful. The way people reached out to me really reminded me how wonderful this job is, and how incredibly lucky I am to be where I am. Gave me a big morale boost and inspired me to keep up this chugging-along happy-go-lucky ambition indefinitely.

Being a cam girl is magnificent.

My hope is that I can continue down this path for many years to come, and enjoy the highs while letting the inevitable lows roll off like beads of water. I just need my friends to stick by me and keep sharing the smiles like we have for all of these years. And I feel good about that.

Updated Cam Room!

When we moved from CA to WA, I did get a new piece of furniture for the new cam room, but overall I kept the same layout as I had at the old house. It totally fit with my usual routine and it made the adjustment to the new house feel less overwhelming to just do things as I always had.

But it started to feel really stale and cluttered. Being in that room made me feel a bit anxious and cramped. And sitting on the floor during every shift was really starting to give me some aches and pains. It wasn't until I did a kitchen/cooking cam show in the middle of March that it really dawned on me that if I had a more comfortable arrangement in my cam room, that I'd feel better during and about my cam shifts.

I needed a chair and a proper table. This meant I had to change the whole layout of my cam room, as it was set up with two 32" TVs as monitors for my desktop computer, and clearly I can't sit with my face just inches away from them. But I've been spoiled with that incredible setup since 2009... it was a scary thought moving to a laptop! It needed to be done, nonetheless. I needed to make the switch.

So the daybed has been moved into another room. The TVs are going in storage. The picnic style table is out. The closet has been organized so that I don't have random stuff laying everywhere.

The focal point of the back wall is now my fun high heel chair, flanked by 2 stylish shelf lamps. A smaller table is now the home for my 15.6" laptop, and I have a comfy armchair that's been rigged up with some wheels. The room feels so much more open, airy and clean, and there is SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES! Being able to move my laptop and cam around anywhere is going to open up a lot more possibilities for sexy times and fun shows. Oh, and every light bulb has been replaced with an LED bulb, so it should be much cooler and energy efficient!

I'm happy. I sort of feel like I've reinvented myself as a cam girl. It's refreshing.

Rigging up my Ikea chair with wheels took some brain power and effort as well as multiple trips to the hardware store for failed attempts.

But after a full weekend of shopping, building, cleaning, moving and organizing, the result is phenomenal.

Onward and upward! Let's make some great memories in this updated fun space.

What will the new year bring?

It's both a relief and a disappointment that 2014 is over.

Last year was a roller coaster of emotion and activity for me and my lil' family. I spent my entire life living in Southern California. To suddenly be living in Washington state is a total mindfuck. But all the work, stress, anxiety and excitement that went into this huge move was well worth it. I love it here. I've got trees, fresher air, seasons (I had snow!!), and some space to feel more relaxed without cinderblock walls an arm's reach outside of my home. It was a long and busy year that changed my life.

The whirlwind emotions of the physical move have worn off and I can start just "being" here now. Can fall into a positive routine. This routine includes camming, of course. By the end of the coming Summer, I will have been on MFC for 6 years. I want to do my utmost to maintain the fun and upbeat atmosphere in my cam room that I've had all this time. I think statistics would show that the majority of cam girls don't make it to year 6 due to an assortment of reasons. I'm proud that I'm still going and still enjoy it as much as I do!

Being that last year my life was so incredibly focused on the move and all that it entails, I didn't have the attention to focus on having the most successful year on MFC. So I want to make up for that a bit in 2015 now that we are settled. I'll be trying my best to stick through the slower days and to a more consistent schedule to ensure I have a fun time with my MFC friends! More on my schedule plans in a moment!

I announced during August that we would be doing away with "Mega Months". They were getting pretty exhausting since the highest ranks have gotten phenomenally harder to achieve over the last 2 years. The term "Mega Month" originated as a way for me to note a run for Miss MFC Top 20. Unless the Earth shifts on its axis and aligns the Universe in a miraculous way, I don't envision that's something Amberland will strive for again.

I'll admit, though, that I miss the excitement and the drive toward the goal a little.

Here's my plan: in most months I aim to be on 4 days during the week, for about 3 hours each day. Then, every few months I will push a bit harder to hit higher goals and a notable rank, working 6 days a week for about 4-5 hours each day. We need a new name for these slightly intense but not overkill months! Name ideas/suggestions are welcomed! These new months may be named differently, but the goal is still to get the best rank possible (no longer top 20, just the best we can do without us all going nuts!) and now to do so while maintaining a more sustainable schedule for myself. Of course there will be special goodies for those who help Amberland thrive during these months!

We're about 2 weeks into the first month of this new year now. It's been a sort of weird start, but I'm optimistic about my plans for the year. I'm going to take a much needed 7 day "staycation" for myself next week to completely refresh myself in preparation for the rest of 2015. I haven't taken more than a couple days off just for me in my whole MFC career. Previously I have only taken time off for family visits, illness or moving. It's going to feel strange! I'm going to do some personal crafty projects and clear my head. I will probably check in on Twitter/ACF a couple times and send video links/replies for any offline tips, but for the most part will be unplugging. Jawbs will keep an eye on ACF for me, moderation-wise. January 21st through 27th is when I'll be "away".

I just felt like I wanted to put all of these plans and thoughts and feelings out there to start off fresh for this year. If you actually read through all of this, thanks for your time and attention! There are so many wonderful people that I've met and continue to enjoy throughout my years on MFC. You guys and gals enrich my life. Thank you for everything, and here's to a wonderful new year!

Project: Dog Ramp!

Jawbs and I spent the majority of last weekend doing a DIY woodworking project, and it was actually a blast!

Since our house sits up a few feet from the actual ground, any dog doors to the outside were over 20 inches off the floor. We are doing a double-dog-door setup where they go out our laundry room into the garage, then out another doggie door to the backyard to a specially fenced-in dog run area.

We had to build a ramp outside of the laundry room doggie door to get the pups to floor level safely! Here's the final result, which I LOVE!

It's 2 separate pieces so the ramp can be taken off and the whole thing moved easily. So far Tank has it absolutely MASTERED but Sugar is having some trouble figuring out that "go outside" now means going out the doggie doors to get to the dog run instead of out our living room/back door to the yard. We'll get there. Luckily I have a lot of yummy treats. I give her 4 days before she grasps the concept!

So this is why I was pretty AFK the whole weekend and went on a bit of an Internet silence. On Sunday we had to finish the project and had to record/watch the Miami Dolphins game on a 6 hour delay. When we watch a game on delay we completely avoid any phone/Internet contact so there are no spoilers.

It was nice to escape the web for a day anyway. We all need to unplug sometimes, hmm?

Somewhat relaxing weekend

It felt nice to finally have a full weekend off after working the last 5 straight (mostly, I think I took one Sunday off during August weekends). We ran errands and did not too exciting stuff Saturday, but then got to relax with some TV and homemade tacos that night. Then Sunday kicked off Miami Dolphins NFL season and they actually BEAT THE PATRIOTS!! Holy moly, what a delightful shock!

Jawbs and I made awesome nachos with gooey cheese, jalape�os, onions and ground turkey. Kicked back a couple of Diet Cokes and enjoyed the morning game. Then we headed into our trees and took some somewhat naughty yet mostly clothed pics for my August Bake Sale participants, the raffle frame winners, and a short HD vid clip of me being naughty out there for my top 10 Cootie Killers! I hope to have that all ready by week's end.

Then we played some pool upstairs, played with the puppies, had taco salad for dinner. It was just nice to not have any commitments for the whole weekend, even though I did technically do some work on Sunday afternoon.

We have family coming into town later this week and quite a bit to accomplish by then, but it doesn't seem too daunting. It's the first time in a while I haven't felt overwhelmed with stuff. Whee!

Awesome August 2014 - 5 years of AmberCutie!

It's that time again for Awesome August! Lots of AmberLand hours, new content, games and competitions to win goodies, and some fun times are ahead of us! This mega month is even more special than most because it represents 5 full years since I officially became a cam girl.

As per usual mega months, I will be aiming for the best Miss MFC rank possible! Every single token helps the end-goal, and I appreciate everyone pushing for a spectacular month with whatever they're able to contribute. For those who go above and beyond, I look forward to thanking you with endless extra appreciation and goodies!

Schedule:
It will be nice to finally be back to full time after all the craziness of the past 2 months! I am hoping to have enough stamina (and in-room entertainment and motivation) to be on between 4-5 hours each day (approx 4pm-9pm or 5-10pm), Monday through Friday evenings. I may pop on for a weekday morning shift now and again, too! Saturdays may be closer to 3 hours and either afternoon or night shifts. Sundays might be a day I take off, maybe every other Sunday. We'll have to see how things are going! If we are maintaining a super-kick-ass rank in Miss MFC, that really motivates me to just keep on trucking and not take more than a day off all month.

August 1st I plan to be on a long time and start the month off with a BANG!! Let's aim for 1pm to 9pm Pacific, with a snack break or 2.

August 28th is the exact 5 year anniversary of my first MFC broadcast! I want to have a 6-8 hour shift that day. It's a very special day for me so please try your best to be there to celebrate with me! I'll bring the beverages if you bring the cake.

August 31st I may very well do a long shift from around 5/6pm til midnight, depending on how the month has gone. If we are run ragged and need some rest, we'll have a normal evening shift. If we are pumped up and running high in the Miss MFC ranks, we'll go for the gold, baby! We'll see how it plays out!

Special shows/events:
As has been mentioned a few times, I considered calling this mega month "All Anal Awesome August Extravaganza!" but it's a bit of a mouthful and might be too misleading. I am planning to do a special show, once each week, involving some sort of Anal play. Fingering, butt plugs, DP... you'll just have to keep up with me to see what may be coming up that week.

Amber's Big Move

I was a sneaky girl for about the first 6 months of this year. I bought a house in Washington state and over the first half of the year, got it fixed up and ready to move into for the summer. We had some things tying us down in Los Angeles for a bit, but finally made the very long drive up here on June 20/21st and have been a resident of Washington since then!

So many feels.

Here are some common questions and answers I've gotten since I dropped the big news on June 23rd during my first (very dimly lit in an empty room) cam session at the new house:

Why would you want to move out of Los Angeles? Are you crazy? Why Washington, of all places? IT RAINS SO MUCH!
I've been a SoCal girl since I was born. I've been there, done that. I loved it for the most part, but I needed a change. The crowds, the traffic, the constantly hot weather even during the holidays when I craved some cold, the very small property we lived on that was surrounded by concrete walls and stinky neighbors (and the fact that a larger more private property would cost close to $1M made moving within the area an unlikely option)... I wanted out of that. I'm not crazy, I need some fresh air!

We chose Washington because it's BEAUTIFUL up here! We came to visit and fell in love with the greenery. There is a nice mix of neighborhoods that are close to the city (for entertainment, social adventures, and conveniences) but far enough removed to have some land and some quiet and wildlife. We have a yard that isn't surrounded by walls, instead it's a wall of beautiful trees and plants and birds. Our dogs are happy little campers! They can roll in the grass and chase birds and run! Also, Washington has the benefit of 1. being free of state income taxes and 2. being on the West coast, which I preferred to stay on. The cost of property here is also wonderful. This house is much larger than our home in LA, with a lot of amenities I was craving, and very comparable in cost.

And I love the rain. And the rain makes things lushly green. I love the greenery. Did I mention that?

What part of Washington, bb?

I'm in the Seattle area, not directly in the city, I'm in the trees. I couldn't have asked for a better location.

What happened to your house in LA?

Some friends of our family were looking to move into our area and our house was ideal for them. We are privately renting it out to them indefinitely. I'm very happy to keep the property "in the family" as it was my first home purchase and has a lot of sentimental meaning.

Why did you keep your move a secret for so long?

It made it even more exciting! Jawbs and I thought it would be a really nice thing for us to keep it as a private matter, just between us and a few friends and our family, until it was complete. My members knew I was up to something since I was rather absent for quite a few days/weeks during the busiest parts of the move and renovation, but it was nice to keep the grueling details to ourselves. Also, I've always been pretty secretive about stuff when it comes to my personal identity, and didn't want to give out any details that would compromise how safe I've been on that front.

I had butterflies in my stomach the weekend that we arrived here, knowing I only had a day or two left until I revealed my big secret, and it was SO FUN sharing it with everyone my first time on cam.

How are you settling in?

Well, we have been here about 3.5 weeks and still have boxes left to unpack, but that's mainly because we are waiting on some furniture deliveries so we have somewhere to unpack the items to! And also because holy moly it's been a lot of work getting things settled around here. The first 7 days, we had Jawbs' father staying with us to help get some things in working order. He helped me a LOT with some outside stuff and lit a fire under our asses to get some major projects done (a ton of landscaping and hauling of junk from around the property, helped us plan our fence which is hopefully installed in the next 2 weeks, helped us pick out our riding lawn mower (I call it my Tractor, it's awesome)). I'm so thankful for the help he gave us, and it was nice having someone share the initial excitement of "being home" with us.

I'm having some trouble adjusting to all the bugs, though! I am sweet as candy to the mosquitos and other insects that land on me. I'll adjust.

I'm beyond thrilled and happy and (aside from some stupid allergies ailing me right now) loving life. I can see us living here for a very long time. There's a lot more space to breathe!

While we ended up calling it "mildly" mega toward the end, I still feel pretty mega about how the month went! I'm sorry I ended up working a bit lower hours than planned. It has been a busy couple months for the Cutie household and I did have to spend some extra time doing some IRL stuffs. THANK YOU everyone who came to show support. We had some very very fun and exciting days during May, and they reminded me of why I love being part of MFC so much. There are so many kind, fun, silly, sweet people in AmberLand and I am so grateful for all of you.

Here are the Wallflower displays you helped me build! My walls are so pretty, I'm sad they have to come down. This was by FAR my favorite wall sign game we've ever done for a mega month. Your big bold names and colorful flowery patterns everywhere made me feel exuberant when I entered this room.

By now you've probably heard me use the term "mega month" quite frequently. Normally this refers to months that I try for a high Miss MFC rank and work a lot more hours than usual, as well as have prizes and games for members throughout the month. But can any of you remember when it all started?

Mega May 2010.

It has been 4 years since the first official mega month. One of the fun things we did in the original Mega May was my weekly auction for great electronics prizes! Weekend Adventure

I hadn't been to a play or a musical since my short time in community college many moons ago. Last week, our friend mentioned he wanted to see The Book of Mormon. Normally, I'd hesitate, because live theatre isn't really my thing, and musicals are a bit hard to swallow for me. But seeing as how I'm a big fan of the work that Matt Stone and Trey Parker do, I didn't think twice. Of course I wanted to see this!

We arrived in the area of the Pantages Theatre a few hours early so we could enjoy some local food and a beer or three. I highly recommend the Blue Palms Brewhouse just up the street. They have 24 craft beers on tap, serve them in nice glasses (my 2, both Farmhouse Ale/Saison, arrived in adorable tulip glasses) and have them displayed on a huge projector screen with their name, description, price and alcohol %. It's a tiny little bar/restaurant, so if you visit during peak meal time, you may wait a while for a table, but it's worth it. Their burgers, sandwiches and cheesy spinach dip were SO GOOD.

We finished our last drink and took a walk around the block to settle our meals in our tummies, then headed to the theatre. The Pantages Theatre is pretty fancypants. It was fun to be surrounded by that decor. We grabbed ourselves one last beverage and lingered in the lobby until the show was about to start. We had decent seats and could see pretty well.

The entire show was wonderful. There's something about a live performance that gives me goosebumps. These actors had such great energy, amazing voices, and the way they played their humorous roles was fantastic. 2.5 hours of a show went by in a flash. If you're able to make it to this performance, do it. The Book of Mormon is hilariously entertaining.

AmberLand experiences some exciting changes...

As some of you may already know from being part of my history-making night on MFC yesterday, there has been an exciting change!

I've been an MFC cam girl for 4.5 years now. Ever since the beginning, I avoided doing any penetration or cum shows in public chat. Originally it was because it was "against the rules" and I wanted to stick by the policies listed on the site. Over time, it became apparent that not many girls actually stuck to those rules and it became increasingly popular to to countdowns in public chat for naughty shows. I still stuck to my plan and just made them "my rules" that I never penetrated or did a cum show in public chat. Last night was one of the best times I've had on cam in a long while! Once I got over the nervousness of the surprise (I didn't tell anyone until I logged on) there were a lot of very excited members who helped contribute to the countdown and continued to show their support during the show! It was amazing. It almost felt like my first day again.

I'm feeling renewed and have a new sense of excitement for cam time now. I know there will still be ups and downs and days where we are still adjusting to the changes, but overall this is a very positive thing for me. I'm looking forward to all the freedom and fun this will allow for me and the members who enjoy my room on MFC.

fAMBruary wrap-up and March plans

The last 2 days have been a wonderful recovery after yet another awesome mega month on MFC.

Since it was a rainy and somewhat chilly day on Saturday, we (Jawbs and I) spent the entire day at the house relaxing and playing games. We tried relentlessly to beat each other's scores on Fieldrunners 2, and also played about 5 rounds of Carcassonne between Saturday evening and Sunday morning. I am completely addicted to both of these games. Sunday we ventured out into the light rain and did a little shopping, then had a wonderful lunch and a glass of wine. This Malbec is hands down my favorite red wine right now.

Christmas and the end of 2013

There's just something about Christmas time that puts me in a certain mood. I reminisce about the year, since it's nearly over. I feel all lovey and cozy because the weather is (ever so slightly, darn SoCal!) colder. I feel hope and relief since a new year is coming and it always feels like a fresh start. Overall, Christmas and New Years time fills me with a wonderful feeling.

I certainly feel blessed for everything I have. Not only in my personal life with my wonderful tiny family consisting of 2 doggies and a loving hubby, but also in my professional life on the Internet. I'd be nowhere without all of the fantastic people I've met on MFC as well as at ACF. You guys and gals who I speak to on a daily or weekly basis really have changed my life in such a positive way. So I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone, and wish you all a super sweet end to this year.

My schedule may be a tad more erratic than usual both for the next 2 weeks and over the course of the next month. In general I'm going to try and have a couple of afternoon shifts each week instead of just evening shifts on cam. I am planning to be on cam in the early evening for Christmas Eve (roughly 4-7 Pacific). I'm taking Christmas off. I'll be back Thursday and Friday for evening shifts. For New Years week, I may be on Monday afternoon for a couple hours, then off until Thurs Jan 2. I haven't decided if I'll get on cam for New Years Eve.

I just figured I'd give you viewers a heads up as to my plans for the next 2 weeks.

NovAmber's toy drive was a major success. This weekend, Jawbs and I went out and got the final batch of toys to complete the 450 total. The Tots for Toys drive brought in about $1700, which we more than matched and now have $4000 worth of toys to drop off over the next couple weeks to Toys for Tots and CHiPS for Kids charities.

Projects and happenings and stuff.

So now that the excitement and exhaustion from Awesome August has worn off, it's almost back to business as usual here in the Cutie household. I'm still finishing the followup work (creating the photo book for the CoCs, updating VIP little by little with the shows from the month, sending out prizes, etc) but having the weekends off and a tad of extra free time each day is a welcomed relief.

I've mentioned in the past months that I had been working on a "project". Well, it was something I started way back in Mega March, and had hoped to launch much sooner, but it took a bit to get it ready enough to show everyone. And I couldn't have done it on my own! There are quite a few ACF models who put in time and effort to make it what it is today.

My forum has always been a place cam girls could come to find support, advice and camaraderie among other cam girls, but I wanted a place that was more matter-of-fact and less based on chatty opinions. I know when I was first starting out just over 4 years ago, the only information I read and utilized was on the cam site itself, via their FAQ pages and watching the other cam girls perform. FAQs on cam sites usually read as pretty biased, as I think they try to make it sound easy as pie to entice girls to sign up and start immediately. It would be nice to have a base of information to start with, for those who are actually looking into it and doing some research without jumping in head-first. I think being prepared before the first day a girl turns on her cam is the best way to go.

It is still a work in progress, and as I note on the main page, I'd love to have some new contributors help finish up the site pages and keep it growing! And please, when you take a look at the wiki, do take a moment to view the list of contributors. Some of them have even made a profile page with contact information. They deserve some recognition!

I know earlier this year I put a bit of emphasis on wanting to break some personal records for this mega month, and while that would obviously be super-spectacular, I really do just want to have a fun month in which we celebrate our 4 years together on MFC. So while there are goals that I'll try to attain, the focus will be on enjoying our days and evenings together on cam, and you all getting some fun prizes at the end of the month!

As you know, I appreciate every little bit that everyone does to support me on MFC and especially so during mega months. It's a group effort, I couldn't do it without all of you lovely people. Movie Monday, round 5! (And a video game!)

It has been a pretty violent and undead trip through the last couple of weeks of my movie-going and video gaming! 2 zombie movies, 1 apocalypse movie, and 1 zombie video game. I'll be sleeping with one eye open for a month, I swear.

World War Z
I was most definitely looking forward to this movie because I do enjoy a good zombie flick, and I adore Brad Pitt. I even broke our rule of not going to a movie during opening weekend (especially one that's rated PG-13) because I was so excited to see it.

I had started reading the book by Mel Brooks some time last year, but lost interested because of the format. Now, this is probably what most people will nitpick about the film: "How can it be based on a book that had no main protagonist and was a grouping of short stories?" Well as far as I can tell from what I know of the book, the connection was the origin of the zombie outbreak. And if I recall, all of the sections of the actual book were also based on the zombie outbreak with origins in one particular locale. If there are any other character or plot match-ups from the book, I wouldn't know. But I will say that going into this with the mindset of "if it doesn't follow the details in the book, it sucks" is the wrong one. As a standalone movie, it's wonderfully done.

There were some very fun jumps in the movie, as well as some very tense creepy moments, and a pretty darn good cohesive plot. It was exciting and kept my attention the whole time. I would recommend anyone who enjoys outbreak/zombie flicks to check this one out immediately.

This is the End
Another movie I've been DYING to see due to the extremely giant cast of current popular actors. And they all play themselves! I would venture to say that people who don't enjoy the main actors in this may not actually like the movie all that much, because it is very much based off of their real lives and careers as far as the comedy goes, and the actual plot and action is so wacky and unbelievable (on purpose). I think the action was exciting, the comedy was perfect, and the surprising little twists and cameos were super fun. I haven't laughed that much at a movie theater in years.

See this ASAP if you're a fan of silly, action-packed comedy. Also, it's rated R so you won't have to deal with the idiot teenagers kicking the back of your seat and talking the whole time.

Warm Bodies
As zombie movies go, this one is a very tame showing. It's mainly a love story between an undead dude and a living blonde chick. They deal with the trials and tribulations of the rest of the undead scorning him for his actions, and the rest of the living (in the post-apocalyptic military-ruled city) dealing with their blonde chick's reckless decision to protect her undead dude.

It was cute enough for a love story, but this really does seem to have been made for teenagers and middle-schoolers and bored Jawbs to sleep while I struggled to stay awake just to see the resolution. It's a good time killer, and has a few cute funnies in it, but overall wasn't great.

And now to add something that I've never included in a Movie Monday post before: A Playstation 3 video game! I felt it fit with the theme so I may as well throw it in here.

The Last of Us
All I can say is HOLY EFF. A very creepy, fun, addicting action game based in a long post-apocalyptic setting where there are multiple types of zombies to combat with as well as different human groups who are all after you in one way or another. This game has gotten absolutely rave reviews (as you can see in the link it got a 10/10 from IGN) and Jawbs and I could just not ignore the hype. We played it basically all weekend and are not even 50% complete yet, but can't wait to play more.

The characters are superb (including some great voice acting), the inventory system and finding loot is great, it's plenty bloody and gory for those who are into it, the loading and saving times aren't terrible, and the overall feeling of being able to scout around anywhere is wonderful. One of my favorite things in a game is the feeling of freedom to explore.

Now, I'm really jumpy and chicken when it comes to action games. While I did my share of zombie combat so far, I will admit I am very fast to hand off the controller to Jawbs as soon as it gets too intense. My poor little heart rate can't handle it! I've jumped quite a few times even just watching him fight off the masses. But that just adds to the fun now, doesn't it?

For anyone who likes post-apocalyptic environments and action genre games, I suggest this as a must-play.

An update on me.

Since it's been a whole month with no blog posts, I'll take this time to catch anyone who cares up on happenings of my life.

Well, ok, not a whole lot is new. I'm still a homebody cam girl who spends most of her time on the Internet, either browsing my forum or Reddit, or playing WoW. But I do get to have frequent board game nights with my husband and our friend (I shall make a more detailed blog on these games in the near future). We even recently went to a Dodgers game. For most people that's a common weekend, but for us to actually get out of the house for more than a meal or a quick shopping trip is pretty noteworthy.

I've been getting into a great routine of jogging and walking a couple times a week. Not only do I really love the way my legs are shaping up, but the mental clarity I have after a nice long jog out in the fresh (well as fresh as it can be in LA with the smog and the summertime fires) air with some great music in my headphones. I've never been much of a runner, but I can jog for a few minutes here and there for about an hour, and it feels great!

Jawbs and I have been busy doing a lot of behind the scenes work and preparation for August, when I will be doing a "mega month" on MFC and hoping for top 20 placement. August marks my 4 years of being a cam girl on MFC and I hope to celebrate with an extraordinary month of fun and lots of hours (and hopefully tokens, if you'll forgive me for being so frank about it) throughout the month. I am actually going to be trying my damnedest to make it a record breaking month in terms of tokens earned in my history of being on MFC. I'll be putting in more hours on cam than I have in a VERY long while in order to give it a good shot.

We'll see how that goes. Clearly it depends on more than just me. We don't have to break records for me to feel thoroughly rewarded from August, but it will be fun to try. And I am super excited to party on cam with you on August 28th, which marks my exact 4 year cammiversary.

Most previous "mega months" have had similar prizes and games and tip competitions. Awesome August 2013 will have a bit of a new flair to it. A change up in the way that prizes are won and how tokens are accumulated for daily high tipper. Lots of new content to be had for those who shine. New masses of Cooties that need to be killed... That sort of thing. I am really looking forward to August, and even though I may mutter frustrations or whines here and there in the current months about getting all this work done ahead of time, I am super happy with the plans and can't wait to see how it all pans out.

MFC overall seems to have shifted vibes for me in the past few months. Mostly because of me, but a little because of the environment as a whole. MFC is constantly growing by huge numbers, and we cam girls can feel it when there's a sudden influx of "noobs" who can't figure out how to be polite or simply just quiet instead of plaguing us with their stupidity. It's hard to find a balance between being entertained by them and annoyed by them. We'll continue to work on that. And also, when 2013 hit, I had made a goal of "top 100 every month this year!" and started off on the right foot in January, but other than "Mega March" haven't really pulled through since then. It has been a little discouraging, but has made me reflect on it and see where I can improve.

It's mainly my fault. I've been letting off-cam work tire me out more than it used to, and a handful of super-slow days on cam discourage me, and thus and haven't put as many hours in for ON cam time as I would like. I want to rectify that. I keep saying that August will re-light the fire under me, and I'm mostly convincing myself of that rather than those who I tell. I have faith that it'll shake things up a bit and get me pumped up again. I also tried to start a pretty ambitious and time consuming project earlier this year that I need to complete (with the help of some other fabulous people) and have put the wheels in motion to get that up and going hopefully by July.

Please don't get me wrong. I still LOVE my job on MFC. I sincerely adore and appreciate everyone who visits me daily/weekly when I am on cam and can't thank them enough for being supremely awesome. They're the ones who keep me afloat during the ups and downs. I am by no means saying anything is going to change (except for the better, as far as me getting my ass on cam more often) but just acknowledging that, as all cam girls do at some point, I've been stuck in a little down swing for a bit. It helps to actually say it out loud and accept it. Ya know? Now that I've gotten that out, it's time to step up and try to get in the up swing!

So my immediate goals for the summer months are as follows:

June - complete (or close to it) my project, be on MFC consistent and fun hours, make as close to my token goal as possible.
July - complete the content for Awesome August, make as close to my token goal as possible, enjoy a weekend trip at some point to unwind.
August - rock the mega month and have a shit-ton of fun, party like a rock star on my cammiversary, possible record breaking.

Movie Monday, round 4

Whoa, nearly 6 months with no Movie Monday blog from me? I'm ashamed...

Silver Linings Playbook

Ok, so this could be one of my favorite movies. I enjoyed the entire film, and especially love how well Bradley Cooper played his role. We are so used to seeing him as some hunky, macho ladies man, that sometimes we wonder if his type-cast was all he was capable of. He pulled off crazy bipolar highly emotionally damaged (still sexy) man so well. And don't get me started on Jennifer Lawrence. I nearly peed myself when I saw the outfit she wore for the dance competition. I'm pretty sure I got a massive lady-boner. She's so hot, and her crazy sexy character only made me love her more. The chemistry between the two of them was phenomenal. Robert De Niro is SO perfect as the superstitious OCD dad. The scene where he and his old buddy are negotiating the bet with the parlay is absolute classic De Niro. I couldn't help but smile during that entire scene.

Overall, I loved the way they eased into the story and the way it unfolded. While I do believe certain parts of the story were incredibly predictable, it was still extremely fun to watch.

Did I mention Jennifer Lawrence was hot in this? I feel like I might have left that out.

Django Unchained

First off, holy hell, never heard the n word used so many times in one sitting in all my life.

I'll admit right now, I went into watching this expecting to absolutely HATE it. I am not a fan of anything super-violent, and really not much of a Tarantino fan at all. I agreed to watch it because of all the talk and hype about it, as well as my never-ending love for Leonardo DiCaprio. Jamie Foxx used to be one of my favorites, too, until it seemed he fell off the face of the earth. It was nice to see him again, and in such a huge role. He nailed it, if you ask me. The character of Dr. King Schultz was so completely enthralling to watch and listen to. Absolutely lovable character. Jawbs and I both agreed on this.

It was difficult to watch Leonardo as Calvin Candie. That's not to say he didn't play it very well, it was just that he did so well that it actually made me shudder.

I actually didn't even know what the story was about going into this viewing but I found it really fun and interesting. For the most part the violence wasn't too over the top for me and I could hang pretty well. I don't know why I've become so squeamish, hah. Toward what I expected to be the end of the film, I could just sense there was some mega-bloody action leering around the corner. I've seen and heard about enough Tarantino films to know that it wasn't just going to end without a huge blow out. I wasn't disappointed nor surprised.

I'm happy and surprised to say that I actually liked this movie quite a lot. Fun story, great acting and actors and some well timed comedic moments.

This Is 40

Jawbs and I actually watched this a couple months ago. We were in the mood for a comedy, and Judd Apatow movies are usually a sure-win for us. I sadly say that I was extremely disappointed in this one. I enjoyed Paul Rudd (as usual as I've really loved him ever since Clueless) and could relate to the story and characters, but it was just. so. depressing.

I'm all for a comedy to have some drama to it, but this just left me feeling sad and lifeless, even with its silver linings. Never mind the fact that it was WAY too long.

Why the fuck have movies gotten so long these days? Once upon a decade or 2 ago, they were on average like 90 minutes and a long one was 2 hours. Am I wrong? Maybe I'm remembering things incorrectly...

This sad, midlife depression story was dragged out for about 40 minutes too long, in my opinion. Hurry up and get to a happy ending before we all want to jump off a cliff, yeah?

Wreck-it Ralph

As expected: SO CUTE!

It was about 2 months ago that Jawbs and I watched this. He fell asleep ( ) but I enjoyed every moment of it. Anyone who loves video games, especially arcade games, will love the characters and jokes in the movie. The main characters, played by John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman were so adorable and fun. Jane Lynch's character was so well played and intriguing. I could probably watch this movie multiple times and enjoy it equally each time. That's hard to say for a lot of movies, for me, these days.

MegaMarch 2013 - Details!

MegaMarch 2013 starts at midnight on March 1st! The goal for the month (and any mega month) is to hopefully finish in Miss MFC Top 20, or as close as we can do it, without completely killing ourselves. And yes I say "ourselves" because it's not only the extra hours and effort that I put in myself, but also the effort and support that my lovely members put in as well. WE CAN DO IT!

The themes for the month will change each week! March 1-10 are birthday themed. March 11-17 are St. Patrick's Day themed. March 18-24 are Spring/Flower themed. March 25-31 are Easter themed. (Think bunnies, eggs and chicks, not anything religious.) This should provide for a colorful month!

Below I am going to list all the fun prizes I have to offer you and a general idea of some of the shows I have planned. Dates and times will have to be specified as the month goes on.

February stuff and Valentines

So my last post was obviously already Valentines Day related but now that the actual week of Vday is here, I'm going to give you all an update on a couple things.

1. I've got a new picture set available as of today! It's the BIGGEST pic set I've sold thus far (36 images), it's got some wonderful quality photos in it since we acquired a fabulous new camera last month, and it's got a great assortment of poses and imagery. Since it's the biggest and such great quality, this will be 150 tokens if purchased on its own.

2. I've got 10 Valentine Hearts to put on my wall this week. The first 10 people to send a tip of 333 tokens will be one of my Valentine Hearts and on my wall for the rest of February, as well as get my new Vday pic set.

3. I will be on cam for Valentines Day in the evening for a few hours to have romantical times with my Valentines, having some pink wine or champagne and possibly strawberries in a seductive little outfit.

4. I will be posting some "behind the scenes" sort of pictures from the previously noted pic set in my VIP section in the next couple of days.

Now, beyond Valentines stuff....

I don't usually make New Years resolutions. But, this year I resolved to make MORE CONTENT in 2013. Many of you have already seen a new HD Shower video, a new softcore picture set, as well as 2 fetish items (pee fetish HD video and a pic set) just within the last month. I would love to keep up the pace with that and continue to bring you handfuls of new content over the rest of this year! I am planning on taking quite a few more pictures as well as another video or two this coming weekend/early next week. I do apologize that this will take me away from cam time toward the beginning of next week, for the most part.

DecAmber 2012 - A MAJOR success!!!

I find today to feel pretty surreal. I spent most of November preparing for, and then of course all of December participating in the most epic month I've ever had on MFC. The fact that it's all over is sort of blowing my mind right now. Though I still have lots of work to do, since so many people are getting fun Cootie Gear sent to them in the coming weeks, and I will have a couple of special videos to make.

I woke up this morning with such a sweet feeling. The feeling of accomplishment for putting in double my usual hours on cam (plus hours each day stamping and hanging pages ) for the last 31 days. The feeling of complete flattery for how well my MFC friends treated me day in, day out. The feeling of success for not only hitting the goal, but surpassing it by a healthy amount. The feeling of ultimate happy.

There are so many of you who not only made my DecAmber extremely special, but have been with me on MFC for such a long while now. I've gotta tell you, I don't know what I'd do without you. JohnnyAb: thank you for not only rocking my face last night and being the highest Angel, but for such a tremendous amount of support throughout 2012. I'm so honored to be able to chat with you so often and to have you with me. BFB__: thank you for your unending support and flirty friendship and all you've done for me. Not a day goes by that you don't make me smile. Pioneer: if you're out there... thank you for being such a fun mystery and for knocking my socks off when you're around. Dilligaf: my sweet dilli bar... you make me laugh and feel so special and I love having your company whenever you can be around. Galactic: I can't even explain how you make me feel... you get me with such sweet flattery and wonderful humor. Thank you for being there. Gex: I missed you lots this month but thought of you often. You've certainly made an impact on me this year and I hope you've enjoyed our fun times. Bignick: your generosity and friendliness continues to astound me. Thank you for everything... not just what you've done for me but for many other awesome girls, too! Cef: in the few months I have gotten to know you, I've realized how incredibly awesome, fun and sweet you are. Thank you so much. Krango: you make my time on cam so fun! Even with your ESB emotes... I still think you're the bees knees . Ted: well my goodness... you've most certainly been with me through the years. Thank you for sticking by me and for all you've done. Aoundril: you crazy rampager! So many laughs and squees you've brought me, and I loved them all. Thank you, my limetext. Schmoe: we all miss you tons lately, but you're thought of and mentioned so often that you were there in spirit. Thank you for still being such a part of things even though work has stolen you away so much. You'll most definitely never be forgotten.

I know there are loads more of you who have completely rocked my world, and I know you know who you are, even if I can't possibly fit you all into one blog post. I feel so incredibly luck to have you ALL. Thank you for a wonderful DecAmber and another wonderful year on MFC.

Congrats to JohnnyAB (feels weird to say congrats since I am the lucky one, here) for being the Angel of DecAmber and automatic winner of a semi-custom vid from me. The 2nd winner will be pulled on Wednesday evening on MFC (approximately 7pm PST) from the other Angels on the board.

DecAmber kicks off tonight just after midnight and last until midnight on 12/31! I can't wait to spend lots of hours each day with you and celebrate this fun month. The goal is to finish in Miss MFC Top 20 to close this year with a bang! Any and all support from you is very appreciated and necessary to keep me going all month long. Whether you can bring tokens to participate in some fun activities, or you can bring smiles and laughter, it all helps me out.

So here are the plans!

First and foremost: Cooties!!

On each Cootie countdown board, there will be bonus Cooties that count as multiple kills (3 to 7, randomly) instead of one, hidden somewhere among the normal looking Cooties. The amount of bonus Cooties on a board will vary, and the only way to guarantee to get the bonus is to NUKE 'EM ALL! I will make sure to almost always have a Cootie board up so that any tips that come in help your Cootie Kill Score. The more Cooties that die this month, the higher we'll get in the top 20!

Top FIVE Cootie Killers for DecAmber will receive one of my hand-sewn Cootie plushies. First place gets Cooter Clause ( ) as well as a Cootie Elf (and 3 pieces of Cootie Gear, to be explained in a moment), and second through fifth get a Cootie Elf (and 3 pieces of Cootie Gear).

What's this Cootie Gear?

I've got a bunch of shot glasses, large black coffee mugs, and 16oz pint glasses with Cootie faces on them, just for you! Not only do the top 5 Cootie Killers get some, but for every 2 full pages on the wall (again, to be explained in a moment) you'll get to pick an item. I'll send out whatever combination of gear you've chosen after DecAmber is over.

Deck my Walls with your ornament balls!

225 tokens will get your name on a page, then each 50 tokens after gets an ornament stamped on it. Each page can hold 12 stamps before it's "full". Once you've finished your first full page, I'll name a cute little holiday Duckie (aka Duckie Butt) for you. All the Duckie Butts will take a colorful hot sexy bath with me toward the end of DecAmber, and you can choose to have the Duckie sent to you after DecAmber is over if you like. There is a limit of 48 on these, one per person, so be quick to finish a page on the wall!

Once you've finished your second full page, you can choose a piece of Cootie Gear. For each 2 full pagees you complete after that, you can pick another piece. Maybe you'll create a whole collection of Cootie Gear! Mugs, pints and shot glasses for the whole family!

Each week (or so) I will change the paper design and ornament stamp color in hopes that by the end of the month, the room walls will be filled with lots of different colored pages. It's going to look awesome with my walls decked out by all your balls!

Last but most definitely NOT least: Amber's Angels!

The highest single tip of each day will be one of my Angels for the month. Similiar to the "Beach Ballers" of August, you'll get posted on one of the Angels on my board with the date, your name, and the Angelic Tip Amount. The highest Angel of the whole month automatically wins a semi-custom video to be made after DecAmber is over. The remaining Angels on the board will all be entered into a raffle-drawing and one more winner will be chosen from that. Two Angels will receive a very special semi-custom video! Exciting? I think so. Details on what is involved in a semi-custom video will follow in a reply to this post.

Movie Monday, round 3

I'm SO far behind on this! Since I had the cold from hell (do they have "colds" in hell, or are they called "hots" there? ugh, sorry....) earlier in November, I had a LOT of couch time to watch bad TV and tons of movies. Here's a little rundown of some of the notable things I was able to view.

The Watch

When this first was announced, I was thrilled about it because I usually love Ben Stiller or Jonah Hill movies. Once more trailers came out, I realized it was going to be pretty bad. Rotten tomatoes only gave it a 17! So I went into watching this knowing it was going to be pretty terrible.

It was entertaining at best, and I liked the one little plot twist with one of the main characters. I probably wouldn't watch it again, but it's worth seeing at least. It's a pretty predictable comedy.

Alien (1979)

After watching Prometheus in the last couple months and hearing how Alien fans were excited about that movie and more "into it" than I was, I figured we should watch what started it all. I'm going to sound like a terrible snob when I say this, but it pains me to watch movies made so early with the lack of cinema technology when the film is based on something so high tech. And I know when I'm sick I'm less patient with movies, but this one seemed to have so many scenes that were dragged out for far too long (seemed like they were going for suspense, but ended up with boredom) and could have been snipped down to something packed with more action.

I realize this is an iconic movie, but I couldn't bear to watch it again.

Aliens (1986)

The sequel to Alien? It took a lot of re-reading the info panel on DTV to figure it out, but apparently this was the follow up to the original. Once we started it and saw the opening scene, it was obvious that it was. While it was more action-packed and higher suspense than the first, it was still a little hard to watch due to the technology issue. (This is just a personal qualm and preference I have since I am spoiled with modern cinema technology, I apologize for it sounding as bad as it is. At least I can admit that I'm spoiled by my generation.) I appreciated seeing faces that I recognized other than Sigourney Weaver, though it was hard to watch Paul Reiser as the protagonist human after watching "Mad About You" as a youngster.

All in all: 5/10

We Bought A Zoo

Cute family movie! Some of you may know, Matt Damon is my "one" (aka the guy on my "celebrity I'd marry if I was single" list) so I try to watch all of his movies (Though "Stuck on You" and "Hereafter" were TERRRIBAD!!) I have to say that the child actors in this movie were such great actors (and the daughter was absolutely adorable) on top of having the great Matt Damon and Scarlett Johanson in the lead roles. I loved the amount of face-time the animals got, and the plot was interesting even though mostly predictable. I actually cried (don't tell Jawbs, he couldn't see my face) in one of the scenes were Damon's character was reminiscing about is deceased wife because I connected so greatly with the characters in the film.

Absolutely sweet and touching family movie. Watch it.

Midnight Run

Jawbs put this movie on after hearing it recommended on Rich Eisen's podcast as "a movie every man should see". I didn't expect to like it at all, even though I've been a fan of Robert De Niro for a long while. I actually sat on the couch playing Tiny Wings on my iPad for the first 20 mins or so because I expected to be bored. I pretty quickly put it down and got cozy on the sofa, as I ended up really enjoying the humor and action in it! Although it was farily predictable as a "bounty hunter" themed movie, I found it really endearing and couldn't look away. I also felt the ending was perfect. Happily surprised at this one!

Love and Other Drugs

Ok, so I'll admit that as a girly girl, I swooned at Jake Gyllenhaal in this movie. He was pretty handsome and quick-witted and adorable. And I can't deny that I am even fonder of Anne Hathaway after watching her in all of her "states of being" during this movie. I loved both of their roles and the acting. However.

This movie duped me.

I thought it was going to be a lighthearted rom-com that made me laugh and swoon, but JUST as I started to really love all the sex scenes and such, it really took a turn for the depressing and made me sad. I don't like to be depressed by movies. Even though it had a somewhat happy ending, I still left that movie feeling quite down.

The only reason I'd watch it again is for the bodies. Mostly Anne Hathaway's boobies, and just partially for Mr. Gyllenhaal's physique.

Something Borrowed

WARNING: SPOILERS ahead, as I had to mention the resolution to the plot to get my point across. SORRY!

Ok, this one is hardly worth mentioning because it is a TOTAL chick flick. But I've admitted these are like a good drug for me when I'm ailing, so I watched it, and shall mention it for one reason. It didn't end the way I predicted.

In most chick-flicky rom-coms, I can predict exactly what the lead characters will end up choosing as their path. Girl has crush on boy, boy has crush on girl, but she doesn't know, girl says boy should date her best friend, best friend ends up not being perfect for the guy, girl admits to crush on boy (and in this case, sleeping with him), boy says he can't leave best friend.... enter girl's best guy-friend who has ALWAYS loved girl... usually she'll end up with this new-found love in her best guy-friend, right? WRONG! Not in this one. I was happily surprised by that.

Thus, I will recommend it as a great chick flick.

7/10 (but only for chicks.)

Mr. Poppers Penguins

Jawbs and I are Jim Carrey fans. Have been for a long while. I try to watch anything he comes out with. While I adore penguins (gunkahs* as I called them as a toddler, for some reason) and Jim Carrey, this movie sorta peeved me. It's one of those situations where you keep willing the main character to do the right thing, and they keep lying instead, digging themselves into a deeper hole. It frustrated me to no end! It was entertaining and cute, so I would say I'd watch it again, if it was on a channel my TV happened to be on and the remote was too far to reach.

Moonrise Kingdom

If I recall, this movie got pretty high acclaim. It certainly had a star-studded cast, with Bill Murray, Ed Norton, Bruce Willis, and Frances McDormand. The children were amazing actors, and completely captivating to watch in their lead roles. Their child romance was endearing, and I found myself rooting for them the whole way. I have to admit, though, I totally cringed during the earring/fishhook scene.

This movie was on the quiet side, but filled with mellow action and a fun plot line. I would most definitely recommend this as a must-watch for everyone.

The Amazing Spider-Man

I saved this for last, because this is one of the most recent, big-screen, big-time action flicks that we watched this month. And I have to say, I am REALLY torn on whether i like this reboot better than the Kristin Dunst/Tobey MacGuire version. I'll just say that I liked both a LOT. I didn't think they'd have enough differences for me to enjoy watching the "same movie" but I'm glad to be wrong. While I believe Tobey MacGuire made a fabulous Spiderman, I also think that Andrew Garfield made a great one with a bit of a darker personality. And I can't deny that I enjoy watching Emma Stone in nearly any role. She's a great actress and very pretty. And Andrew Garfield is a cute geek.

The plot in this one engaged me, maybe slightly more than the plot of... the other one.

I suggest everyone see this if they're a fan of Spiderman at all.

Movie Monday, round 2

Oh look, I've gone and done it again!

Watched 3 movies this weekend. I'll list them in order of how much I enjoyed them.

Looper
What a fantastic film. It has been a while since I ventured to a theater to watch a movie, but I am so glad I experienced this one at the big screen. The story was more in-depth than the previews lead on, and the plot ended up quite opposite from what I originally believed it would be. Which is a nice surprise. Since this is a recent attraction I don't want to give much away and want everyone to experience it for themselves if they haven't already.

I loved the cast. I've been a fan of Bruce Willis my entire life, so that's a no-brainer. Joseph Gordon-Levitt made an AMAZING young Bruce Willis. I thought I would be completely distracted by his blue contacts (I love his black-brown eyes) and makeup but it was done so well and so dead-on. I imagine anyone who has become familiar with Bruce Willis' facial expressions and mannerisms in other movies would agree that JGL did extraordinarily well mimicking him.

I didn't realize Emily Blunt was in it until the movie began (must have missed it in previews). She was magnificent as well and I loved her character.

10/10 for me.

Our Idiot Brother

Another movie with a great cast! Many times, these movies with a ton of well-known actors in it disappoint me. They're usually hyped up and then completely predictable flops. But I really liked this one. Paul Rudd is absolutely perfect as a likable hippie stoner. You can't help but adore him in this movie and keep hoping he gets a break of good luck. The 3 sisters were perfectly cast, I think. Zooey Deschanel is so adorable and plays her usual type-cast role (which she does well) alongside Rashida Jones as her girlfriend. Their chemistry was great. Elizabeth Banks is the uppity journalist who you sorta like but sorta cringe at. Emily Mortimer... I just wanted to hug her. She played the perfect "I'm so focused on being a mom and a wife now that I've let myself go and haven't realized it" sister.

The story is very simple, and mostly told from the angle of all the sisters and what they sacrifice for, and learn from, their idiot brother. All have their quirks and predicaments which he is involved in. His lack of common sense is hilarious and is the cause of so many hilarious problems. But, since it does focus on his 3 sisters and their personal lives, I would say this movie was more "chick flick" than Jawbs and I had expected. Which is probably why I liked it more than he did.

I give this 7/10.

Prometheus

I wasn't even planning to see this movie. I had 0 interest in it from the get-go. But Jawbs suggested we watch it. I sat through it hoping to enjoy it. I hardly did. If any of you have been reading/listening to my thoughts on movies over the last few years, you may have noticed that the cast is a big part of a movie's enjoyability for me. Given that I only recognized 1 person in the film (Charlize Theron) I had trouble connecting with the characters. The female lead (Noomi Rapace) was pretty, at least. And the muscle-laden alien men were interesting looking.

I know a lot of people were hyped about this movie due to the idea that it was connected to Alien (which I've seen parts of when I was a kid) and that may have increased their enjoyment of it. (And after seeing it, I wonder if people saw outright connections between the 2 films?) But I found the interaction between the characters to be awkward and unsupportive. The events seemed strangely timed and spaced out. It just didn't flow right to me.

I can't even discuss any other points of the movie because I really was just that disinterested in it. I wouldn't watch it again.

3/10. Bleh.

Movie Monday

I titled this as if I'll actually get around to doing this on a regular basis. It's doubtful that will happen, but it's catchy anyway so might as well just go with it. This weekend was quite a bit of relax time for me and the family (husband and 2 small dogs.) With any relaxing weekend comes a fair amount of TV or movie watching and couch laying. I enjoyed both!

Snow White and the Huntsman

I was all prepared to hate Kristen Stewart in this movie due to all the hate for her around the Internet. While I do believe she's a very bland actress who doesn't show emotion very well, this role actually seemed to suit that. And of course I enjoyed Thor...erm... Chris Hemsworth, as the Huntsman. He's just an awesome dude.

But this movie had the same issue that I think a lot of movies have these days. It was too long. So many scenes were dragged out for twice as long as necessary to get the feeling and the story across. Out of the 4 of us on the couch, I was the only one who managed to stay awake long enough to see the epic battle at the end. The puppies and the hubby didn't miss much.

The scenery was very pretty and the acting was decent. I enjoyed this film's version of the 7 Dwarves.

I give this movie a 4/10.

Friends with Benefits

There was a lot of sex in this movie. Which I most certainly appreciated since I think Mila Kunis is pretty damn hot. And Justin Timberlake ain't too shabby either, I suppose. I really really wish they'd shown HER ass as much as they showed his, though. Jeez they really wanted us to see Justin's butt. A lot.

Other than this movie being SO predictable (which I think most Rom Coms are these days) I think it was pretty cute. I actually laughed a few times, so something worked. Woody Harrelson being in it certainly improved the overall rating of the movie. I think he makes anything better, personally. Though this is another movie I'd say could have been about 20 minutes shorter, I think it was put together pretty well.

The chemistry between the main actors was perfect and the fun story was told in a fun way.

I give this movie a 7/10.

Awesome August 2012: we did it!

Ahh, what a month. Started out in a hotel room with cooky wi-fi, strained an ankle the first full week, only took one day away from cam, and we still rocked it!!! THANK YOU to everyone who was part of Awesome August. I am so incredibly flattered, excited, and grateful to all of my sweet Cootie Killers and Van Dwellers for everything. It's so awesome to have finished at #15!

Speaking of Cootie Killers: dilligaf0 will be the new owner of "Cooter" the Cootie since he was the #1 Cootie Killer of August! I sure hope he'll treat Cooter nice. Give him a hug for me once in a while, maybe? Thank you SO MUCH, sweet dilli bar, for being such a major support for me.

Here is the rest of the top 10 Cootie Killers. You all rock! I hope you had fun sniping and bombing your way to the top.

Making my beachy-themed "Wall of Awesome" was a blast, too. Halfway through the month it started getting so full that I wasn't even advertising it much anymore, and just adding people at the end of the day. It's all filled up now! And the "Beach Ballers" certainly added an epic touch to it. I enjoy having your balls on mah wall.

The raffle we had this month was most definitely a success! My lucky bucket was nearly halfway full by Cammiversary day when the winner was pulled. So many entries!! The first place winner was ThePioneer who will get a semi-custom video made for him later this month, as well as a Netbook to enjoy. Second and third place winners were JohnnyAb and CallMeWilliam who will get an adorable digital picture frame keychain. All 3 of them (as well as a few others) will be getting thank you cards from me as well. It's the least I can do after all the generosity shown to me throughout the entire month.

Once again, thank you so very much for being part of Awesome August. I can't tell you how lucky I feel to have such a great group of people to laugh with, chat with, dance for, be sexy and silly with, and virtually-snuggle with every day. We'll slow down the pace a bit over the next few months and enjoy each other's company with a bit less pressure. Maybe we'll take another shot at the top20 in... DecAmber...

Busy bee, I be!

My schedule has been a bit wonky for the past week or so, in preparation for this weekend mostly. Jawbs and I are going to be out of town for about 1 whole week! I haven't spent that long away from home pretty much ever. We've got some family business to attend to, but I will have a bit of downtime while we're out there, so I am going to make an attempt to get on cam. I'll probably take Friday off, but will attempt to cam either Saturday or Sunday. I know a change of scenery can be fun anyway, right?!

I've also been preparing for August. It marks my 3 year cammiversary (Aug 28 to be exact) and I would absolutely love to make it a "mega month" and do lots of fun things with you all and put in many more hours than I have in the past couple months. Of course, ending up in (or at least near) the top 20 would be spectacular, so we'll try our best, but ultimately I want this to be an awesome month of giggles and smiles and happiness. I'm a teensy bit stressed out that I will be camming from a hotel room for the beginning of the month, but also excited about it. Here are some of my plans for Awesome August!

8/1 Launch of my NEW video! (Yes, I actually made another one, and it may just be hotter than the first.) I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to log on at midnight, but it's a possibility so I'll update you guys closer to the date. Regardless of the time, the vid will be 200 tokens. Hoping a whole buncha' ya will come hang out for the first day of the month and help me kick it off great!

Cootie Killers! Starting August 1, the "High Scores" will actually work and keep track of your Cootie kills! The person with the most Cootie kills for the whole month will receive a special prize from me in the mail. Details on this prize to be released later...

Wall of Awesome: Once I get back home, we'll have a cool banner on the wall that I'd love to fill up with names and fun drawings. Details on token amounts and such will be announced once we return home.

High tipper of the day: The highest single tip of each day (online OR offline) will get a special Beach Ball cut-out with their name on it on my Wall of Awesome.

Raffles: Throughout the month, I'll probably do a few small/short raffles for fun prizes. VIP, pic sets, fan signs, my video package and those cute little digital photo keychains. I also plan to have at least one big raffle that will last a couple weeks. I have to get the details of that sorted out still, but I KNOW you guys will like the prize.

Cammiversary, Aug 28: I am planning to be on for a long shift this day to celebrate with all of you! I'm going to try to put together a trivia and/or other fun games so we can have a hilarious fun time. I really hope to see all of my friends here this day, it's a very special occasion for me. 3 years, HOLY GUACAMOLE! We shall partay!

In addition to the items mentioned above, I want to also include during the month: a POV group show, a Sybian ride group show, a DP butt plug group show, a Creamy Milky shower show, and a cookie or brownie baking day where the high tippers get the goodies in the mail. I also mentioned to EvettePage that it would be fun to have a show with her this month. We'll see! I will try to announce these events ahead of time so you can "pencil me in" on your calendar. I likely will be on cam Sundays and/or Mondays since I want to put in a hefty effort for top 20, so doing these fun shows and having all of you around as much as possible to keep me sane and entertained is going to be vital!

AHHHH the excitement and anticipation of Awesome August, as well as being away from home for a week, is making me all CRAZY! So, yah, that may explain why I've been wonky on MFC for the last couple weeks, and I may have seemed preoccupied. I can't wait to get the month underway and start having epic fun with everyone!!

I feel I just HAVE to update you all on the status of my hardboiled egg making abilities. I've finally got the hang of it! I still have a little trouble peeling one or two out of a dozen, but they're delicious and easy for the most part.

Since I've got that in the bag, I upped my egg making capabilities! Today, I made my first batch ever of Deviled Eggs! This is something that I grew up having as a treat, as it was one of my Mom's specialties for any gathering/party/picnic. (In fact, after I write this, I'm going to call and *squee* at her that I did this, and to top it off, that I'm using her hand-me-down Deviled Egg Tray as seen below.)

Anyways... Jawbs and I have been eating a lot of eggs, meat, fibery veggies, cheeses and whatever protein-filled, carb-less stuff we can get our mouths on these days, so that prompted me to get creative with our eggs. We've been eating a Keto-friendly diet (limiting to about 20g of carbs or less a day, which puts your body in Ketosis and burns fat for energy instead of stored up sugary carbs in your system, to put it in really layman terms. Here's a subreddit if you'd like to investigate further.) I made my first cheesy sauced cauliflower last night. YUM. I've gotta say, I'm in love with the foods we get to eat daily. I <3 cheese and meat.

I also <3 alcohol, as many of you who chat with me know already. I usually tend to gravitate towards juicy mixed drinks, beer or wine. Avoiding the usual carb intake that I've indulged in, I've modified the way I imbibe as well. Here's a few options that I've started enjoying:

Low sugar/carb Margaritas
(Super big thanks to Jawbs' family member who got us into this recipe!!)
Crystal Light Margarita drink powder (half the packet for 1 blender-full)
1/2 cup Fresh squeezed lime juice
1 to 1 1/2 cups Silver Tequila (Costco has a great Kirkland version of Patron now for ony $18!)
Lots of ice
Blend!

Gin or Vodka and Mandarin or Lemon Lime Soda Water
Over ice!
Sometimes I mix this up with a flavored Stoli. (Please note, flavored vodkas and sweet flavored vodkas are different. Stick to the old-fashioned flavored vodkas that are not sweetened. All the new hype with Cake and Whipped vodka is because they're very sweet and tasty, and are packed with sugar/carbs.)

Adult Lemonade or Punch
Crystal Light Fruit Punch or Pink Lemonade drink mix (generic Walmart brand pictured below)
The powder mix should be made a a slightly more potent strength in order to be super yummy, so add less than 2qts of water
Put a shot or two of vodka over ice, add as much punch/lemonade as you like, to taste.

Aside from enjoying these yummy drinks, I'm challenging myself to drink a LOT more water than I used to. I aim for 2.5 liters a day now. I've always been bad at drinking water. It makes me feel all sloshy, and sometimes nauseous when I drink a bunch at a time. Adding a tea bag or some sort of flavor sometimes helps, but I'm just going for plain ol' straight up water right now. Any liquids I drink in addition to that are bonus. I'm doing great already.

Oh hey, Mr. Blog... thought I forgot about ya I bet!

I figured I'd post a little note here since it's been quite a while. I just had a lovely weekend with the family in town. Took 5 whole days in a row off of MFC (I forgot what that felt like, it's been at least a year since I did that!) We enjoyed lots of good food, some fresh air, and a bit of bowling and shopping. It was a sweet break from the day-to-day but I sure was left feeling out of my groove after that.

It sure feels like summer here. We've had a lot of beautiful warm weather. But while many people are saying that summer began at the start of June, doesn't it officially start right around Father's day? Oh, and that's coming soon too, I suppose. Don't forget to send your cards and make your phone calls this Sunday. I am actually planning to be on cam that day to do my first ever Ice Cream Sundae Sunday! We haven't had a shower show in a while, so this Sunday I will get all messy sweet with ice cream, various sweet syrups, and probably some whipped cream and cherries, then clean up in a hot sudsy shower.

But before that... I've got a special day on MFC coming up tomorrow! It's not often that I do something major like ANAL on cam, but this Friday I will. Anal group show around 4pm PDT on MFC. I'll probably log on at roughly 2:30 pm for a normal strip countdown and a warm-up group so I can loosen up, but after that I'll start a countdown on my cooties page (and if you haven't seen that yet, check it out!) for the big group and head in to get down and dirty after that! Mr. T might even make an appearance. I'm hoping lots of people stop in for the event and enjoy it with me. Not only is it lots of fun, but it's a special rare occasion and I'm hoping we have an epic day!

Speaking of epic: I am planning to do my 2nd Sybian ride group show on the last day of this month. Keep an eye on my Twitter for updates closer to it for more precise time estimation, but the plan is to do it on Saturday, June 30th. Sometime in the afternoon is my best guess.

Thank you to everyone who helped me start out this month with a bang! We had a wonderful first week, and I only hope ya didn't miss me too much while I was away. Hopefully my video helped you through any... hard... times. I'm super excited that the video has done so well and I've heard such positive things about it! It certainly encourages me to eventually make another one, and I appreciate the support of all my MFC friends who have given great reviews on it!

So there's my June stuff. There may be other fun surprises along the way. I hope to see all of my sweet friends throughout the rest of this month and the summer! I love sharing laughs and smiles with ya.

Movies and Margaritas.

Saturday was Cinco de Mayo. Though many people don't know the actual history of the holiday, many people still celebrate it as an excuse to drink Mexican beverages, eat Mexican food, and party the day away. While we didn't party much, we did enjoy some margaritas and make somewhat healthy tacos to honor the day. My favorite mix is Trader Joes Margarita mix, Patron Silver, and Grand Marnier. We went with blended this weekend, but on the rocks is pretty tasty, too. For our tacos we made 2lbs of lean ground turkey with taco seasoning, onions, pico de gallo salsa, lettuce and some La Victoria green and red sauce. Super nom and not too terrible on the waistline.

Saturday was also movie night. Chronicle was the first movie we watched. It was interesting and entertaining but somewhat predictable. I couldn't really get past how the lead actor looked like a sullen, depressed Leonardo DiCaprio, though. Worth a watch, but I'm glad we didn't waste money in the theater for it.

Next up was Thor. We will probably end up seeing The Avengers at some point, so catching up on the preceding Marvel comic movies is a must. Now, back when Thor came out, I was hearing all these comments about how it was silly, and how he made an appearance at Starbucks and said some embarrassing lines about coffee, and that he rode a horse down a rainbow bridge. Clearly, I hadn't watched many previews or read about it from credible sources, and just took these comments to mean the movie was not worth seeing. Watching it on Saturday I realized that all of it fit right into the storyline, and the rainbow bridge wasn't really as dainty as it was made to sound. I think one of the differences between this and other superhero movies is that more than half of this film is in a fantastical world of magic and folklore. We are used to the hero having some special powers, or incredible gadgets, but not as used to almost the whole movie being set in such a fairy-tale setting. There was also a lot less combat than I'm used to in a superhero movie. Maybe that was what threw people for a loop and led them to make the comments about it being silly. I ended up liking it, and I'm glad we watched it.

Also, it had Natalie Portman in it. I had no idea until the movie started that she starred in it. That was pure win all in itself.

Sunday we continued the Marvel catch-up with Captain America. Lots of fun fighting scenes, a more evil and scary looking bad guy (like we are used to in comic books) and a wonderful cast. I enjoyed the story very much, and am now looking forward to seeing more of this character in The Avengers.

If I can take my eyes off of Tony Stark long enough.

So that's our weekend! OH, except I forgot to mention: I made another batch of hardboiled eggs, and they're perfect! Thanks for all the advice in the previous blog. Feel free to add comments to this one about anything discussed above, even if it's to hate on my feedback about Thor.

Game Review: Guild Wars 2 - Beta

Anyone who pre-ordered the game is able to test out the beta this weekend. It began yesterday, and Jawbs and I were able to get a couple hours last night. Here's my initial impression. Yes, I am keeping in mind that this is only beta and things can and will change before launch.

Cons:
1. Learning the ropes - sink or swim.

If anyone has tried a new MMORPG, they're probably used to the whole tool-tip tutorial "here is how to move, here are your spells, this is your bag/inventory, click this to see blah" in the first few levels. GW2 doesn't really lend itself much to a new player in this sense. It flashes you a few tool-tips about the quests showing up on your map, but other than that, expects you to figure out much of the rest.

The first quest takes you right into CHAOS. Jawbs and I both had no f'n clue what was going on during the first 2 battles. We hadn't even learned how to use our starting abilities yet (and certainly didn't realize that your abilities are tied to the weapon type you have equipped until much, much later), when we were mobbed with enemies. Our previous MMORPG knowledge helped in that we knew to click to target and hit a button for an ability, but a new person would just be dead. Death... speaking of which:

2. "Fight to survive!"

When your life runs out, or very low (couldn't tell, it happens so fast) you go into this "fight to survive" mode where you're on the ground and have an alternate set of abilities in the middle of your screen to click, which seems to give you the option to either lay down and die, or try to save yourself. Thanks, game, for telling me WTF I am supposed to do here. Oh wait, you didn't. Let me just flail around on the ground and mindlessly click stuff because everything is so chaotic I have no clue what's happening.

As we played through the next hour or two, there were many "world events" we took part in that put us in this "fight to survive" scenario and it never got less confusing. And yes, that means we were dying/nearly dying a lot. I don't remember playing any other MMORPG in the very first levels and dying so much.

3. The starting area of the world is TOO big.

The designers of GW2 really were hellbent on confusing the new players. Even with a very pretty and intuitive map system, it's confusing to figure out where the heck you're supposed to go. Starting our "personal story" line of quests took us through an enormous city without much direction other than the big green arrow on the minimap. In my opinion, the first 2 to 3 zones a new character has to quest and explore in should be smaller, simpler, and have better direction. The first city has multiple "waypoints" in it that you can teleport to/from so I doubt I'll ever actually explore the entire city just due to it's expanse.

4. Server overflow.

Jawbs and I created toons on the same server in order to play together. Obviously. Now, we expected some delays and queue times possibly, since there aren't that many servers and it's a huge hyped up beta weekend. We were prepared to sit at a queue screen. But what happened instead, was the server was so busy, they randomly bump players into "overflow servers". If I was playing solo, this would have been great! But we wanted to quest together, and it separated us even though we were in a party. Clearly that wasn't thought out very well. We spent the first 20 minutes trying to figure out why we couldn't see each other even though we were both standing at the same quest giver. Logging out and back in helped, but the WORLD IS SO BIG that there are different servers for zones within an area... so we kept getting separated each time we'd zone. Frustrating to say the least. People in a party together should be recognized somehow and kept intact.

I realize that especially this last issue could be something just put in place for beta, so hopefully they have better plans for busy servers come launch time.

Pros:

1. The environment and characters are beautiful.

The character creation had lots of options, and you create a story for yourself when you pick some of your attributes. I remember being completely enamored with the look of the characters in GW1, and I am not disappointed at all now. The combat animations are pretty spiffy looking too.

I am fortunate that I can crank my graphics all the way up and really enjoy the scenery. The detail on the environment is really nice.

2. Abilities are tied to your weapon.

I mentioned before that it took me a while to realize this was the case, but regardless of that, it IS an awesome thing. I enjoyed equipping different weapon types and seeing all the new options available. You have to "level up" your weapon type in order to unlock abilities, though. You'll start with 1 and unlock others as you use it. It adds a bit of depth to your decision making when it comes to picking up weapon upgrades, and lends to a bit of variety in combat action.

3. Waypoints are fast.

I also mentioned before that a large city has multiple waypoints in it. While that may lead to me exploring many parts of a city, it IS very convenient if you just want to get to your next quest destination. As many of you may know, I played World of Warcraft for many years, and I personally welcome the quick teleportation vs. scenic, time-eating flights on a bird.

4. World events are a cool concept.

I know that once I get a better handle on the UI, my abilities, and the whole quasi-death mystery, these world events will be fun. You can join in killing a mob of enemies, or a big enemy, with other players and get credit for participating. In other games, you'd have to be the first one to "tag" an enemy to get credit, but that's not the case here. In fact, I don't think that's the case with any enemies in this game. I can't quite figure out the looting system yet, nor the XP gains while attacking random enemies, but I have noticed that an enemy NPC's name never turns grey even if multiple people are fighting it. Guess I can work on figuring this stuff out when I play this evening. Or try to, at least.

In closing:

I am looking forward to exploring more of this game. I am not completely swept off my feet by it, but I suppose I never will be by another MMO. I was completely sucked into World of Warcraft at first because it was a whole new world for me. I had only played a couple hours of Asheron's Call, and a couple hours of Everquest I, but WoW was the first MMO I really gave a chance to. Thus, it will always be a basis of comparison for me, and I don't think anything will ever immerse me so deeply into it's grasps.

But this might be a fun time killer.

Eggs, space, and beyond.

This just in! AmberCutie can NOT make very good hardboiled eggs. I think maybe I didn't leave them in long enough, since the yolk seems a bit soft, but at least there's no grey discoloration. Also, peeling them takes like 10 mins a piece. Durrr, maybe next time they will come out better. My gramma used to poke a pin-sized hole in the eggs before boiling, and people around the web say it makes them easier to peel, so that could be something I try in the future.

Maybe I should just stick to cookies and pasta. Or just pasta.

Jawbs and I finished the complete season of Battlestar Galactica a couple nights ago. I'm actually sad that it's over. I really started to love all of the characters, and I'm sad that the other BSG shows that are still available to watch won't include the same cast. Starbuck was my favorite, and I am a little disappointed that the last episode didn't wrap up her story quite as clearly as I'd hoped during the whole last season. And I seriously feel bad for Lee. Wonder what the future holds for him after that devastating last episode.

As far as characters that I didn't love... well let's just say there wasn't a single episode that I didn't exclaim "Will someone PLEASE just kill him?!" about Gaius Baltar. That guy peeved me on so many levels. From his ridiculous greasy hair, to his episodes with the Jesus beard, to his sometimes awful acting (dude, just opening your eyes as wide as they will go doesn't necessarily mean you're being dramatic), to the fact that sometimes people could hear/see him talking to his imaginary Six and sometimes they couldn't. I wasn't a fan from the beginning, and even the last episode didn't reel me into his fan club.

Speaking of Six, there were moments I found her really ugly, and other times she looked hot as hell. Her mouth bothered me most, I think. The way she talked through her teeth (and she has a LOT of them) when she was trying to be super serious. In the episodes where her copies had longer, wavy, darker hair I thought she was gorgeous. And don't get me started on that one scene that she was in sweats and a ponytail. She looked better dressed down, I think. I wish they'd have had more casual copies of her.

Overall I was satisfied with the ending. It felt somewhat resolved, and the timing of the end was perfect. I don't think they could have strung along another season of plot without being too repetitive. I think we are going to give Caprica a shot, but I'm not completely convinced it will have the same appeal for us. We also still have "The Plan" to watch, and apparently "Blood and Chrome" is in the making.

We will watch the entirety of Firefly soon, I promise.

As we are getting more and more sunny days here in LA, I am starting to really look forward to the summer. Our orange tree is in full blossom and smells delicious, some of my plants that I got a handful of months ago are growing and healthy, and the pool is looking very inviting. I can't wait until it's nice and warm so we can hop in with a beer or fruity beverage and relax.

Enough ramblings for now. Feel free to chime in with thoughts about BSG or your recommendations about hardboiling eggs.

Mega March: Major Success!

It may be a couple days before I stop riding this high of such a wonderful month with you guys! I made a ton of new fun friends, shared some epic moments, was flattered by some super heroes... and finished 18th! It was fabulous! Thank you, everyone, for being part of it in one way or another. I couldn't be happier. It was my 3rd highest token month ever, and also my most stress-free (and healthy! lol) top 20 month yet. It's nuts up there, and I commend all of the girls who have the energy and motivation to be up there so often. I am looking forward to going back to my usual schedule, having weekends off, and hopefully do consistently well enough to make my normal goals.

Congratulations to the winners of my raffle! Gex and Schmoe won the grand prizes, and Razeal, Praetorin and Hitekrednec won the backup prizes. JohnnyAb, Gex, Schmoe, Brownie, SluttySwede and Tracer participated in the Amber's Awful Art Auction and will be receiving some wonderful watercolor paintings to hang on their refrigerators. And around 30 people qualify to receive their Scrolls of Awesomeness as well as a thank you card if they so choose. I'll be contacting all of the above people via MFC mail for info and addresses.

I also want to give a special shout out to the superhero of the month, Gex. He shocked and surprised me with a Sybian for my birthday, as well as rocking my world on the 31st with a very generous tip. Boy I was ripping those raffle tickets for over an hour! Thank you, Gexy, for being awesome. And also, mega-thanks to "Batty-Moose" for so many fun (and evil!) surprises. You're pretty amazing.

It's been a long but fun month, hasn't it?

I just want to thank all of you who have come to visit and support me in whatever way you could. I've really enjoyed the extra time I've spent with ya this month! My first ever Sybian Ride Group Show!- I am planning to get this started around 8pm Pacific. While I have plugged in this awesome machine to see how it works, I have not actually ridden it yet. Anyone in this group show will be the first to see my experimentation with it, and hopefully enjoy some cums with me! There are bound to be giggles as well as we learn how it works. I expect this show will be approximately 30-40 minutes, but there's no guarantee.

Hanging out 'til Midnight!- As many of you know, on the last day of a "mega month" I hang with you til the bitter end! You all have worked hard to keep my rank up, so I'll stick with ya til it's all over.
