The beautiful Haynes family shooting in my favourite Buenos Aires location; Recoleta Cemetery. Not a lot of families would be brave enough to shoot in a cemetery, but this cemetery is different and you can see why. Like a lot of expat families in BA, the Haynes will be leaving here in a few months. They wanted to capture the city’s vibe as well as shoot at their favourite park near their home.

I’m back in Buenos Aires for a few months after a great season on board the Sea Explorer in Antarctica. Upon my return, I had the pleasure of taking Francesca and Andrew around San Telmo on a Day Clicker Tour and snapped a few cute photos of them together. If you’ve ever traveled with your spouse/boyfriend/friends/family you will know it’s tough getting photos where you’re in them together and looking great! With this in mind, I will be adding a service to Day Clicker called “Photo Me”. You don’t need a camera for this, I will take you around and snap a few pics of you while you enjoy the city!

BABIES!!! Everywhere! It’s not my usual shoot, but what is usual these days? Last week I photographed 9 children in and around the age of one. Surprisingly it was not the mayhem I thought it was going to be. Sweet and kind parents and kids make things go so well.

All of the families wanted a bit if alone portrait time and then we had some interesting moments capturing the “baby line up”. I have to say I was nervous. But when I put on my bossy pants “Everyone! Hands off the kids on the count of three!”. There was an eerie silence I was not expecting. It did not last long, as you an imagine, but it was like they all knew. I NEEDED to get this shot! I am the baby zen master photographer!

I recently set up a stall at Toronto’s  yearly Cabbagetown Festival. Thank you to everyone who stopped my my booth yesterday to chat and purchase my work! I had a super fun day! I thought it was about time that i showed some of my own work from the 3-ish years I have been taking my amazing clients on my Day Clicker Photo Tours around Buenos Aires and beyond!

Shannon. Wow. Solidifying the statement that if you work hard, it will pay off. I photographed Shannon last year and I thought she looked amazing then. She has been hitting the gym hard with personal trainer Sebastian Rahman gearing up for the 2013 IDFA NOVICE CLASSIC (Novice Natural Bodybuilding, Novice Fitness Model & Novice Figure) competition.

Happy honeymooners, Raghav and Shraddha joined me on an afternoon Day Clicker Photo Tour of Villa Crespo and Parque Centenario. Portraiture is my thing so I couldn’t help but snap a few photos of this stunning couple. It’s kind of insane how gorgeous and sweet they are! My camera loved them every bit as much as I did.

Sean and Olya hung out with me for the day on a Day Clicker Photo Tour. They were such a sweet couple I couldn’t help but snap a few portraits of them in the streets of San Telmo and Boedo.

My BFF (we’re often mistaken as sisters), Sarah Barber’s baby shower was a reflection of the woman herself; chic, casual, full of love, tasteful and elegant. A ladies only event (until later when baby Daddy arrived) was catered to the max by the fabulous Drake Hotel Sky Yard. Guests snacked on incredible edibles, sipped cucumber water, mimosas and white wine all while the lovely guest of honour swayed through the crowd in her swanky 20′s inspired fringe dress. Class. All class. I decided to give these photos a bit of a vintage feel, inspired by Sarah’s flapper dress. So, I included Exposure 4 into the final workflow process.

Sarah and Matt’s baby, Winston Robert has since entered the world. I have yet to meet the little guy, but I’m sure when I do there will be another blog post all about it. Standby……

Headshots for Sebastien = Seb-Shots. I’ve been friends with Seb for a few years. We met while working together in the service industry, a job we both managed to escape from. He is a personal trainer and now works in Real Estate. I photographed him a few years back for his fitness biz and he recently asked me to do a quick shoot for his new business cards and promotional material for Remax. It was a quick and easy shoot with a very special guest assistant, Roxy Roller.

If you are looking for a personal trainer, I can testify that Seb will kick your ass and you will be in the best shape of your life, guaranteed.

 Amy and Jay got married on a very hot and humid July 4th afternoon beside the rushing waters of Niagara Falls, NY. The bride wore a flowing white dress, the groom wore shiny white shoes. It was a beautiful day filled with the love of their friends and family and the celebration of uniting of 2 families. Both Amy and Jay have 3 children each from pervious marriages so they joke about them becoming ‘The Brady Bunch’. There will be no lack of love and laughter in their new home. Best of luck to you with many happy years ahead!
