The most interesting thing in american idol season 10 is when Wilson Kissed Her Boyfriend. Who'da thunk that Tyler was such a softie? Of course, it was funny watching him scold Randy for calling someone a bad singer and then turning around and doing essentially the same thing himself a few minutes later.

And is J Lo really the only one that is hearing the auditions? The boys really let some marginal contestants through. Then again, from the edits the overall talent level is way down even from last year's record mediocrity.

Hats off to the production team, though. The little piano tickling during McCaffery's package had us looking for the right thing. And the sound effects as Younique's number fell off during the judges critique and the freeze frame and record screech when Wilson kissed her boyfriend were flat out hilarious.

The 2010 American Music Awards had a lot to live up to compared to last year’s fan fueled party that had unpredictable stage sets by Adam Lambert and mega stars Lady Gaga and Elton John. Did the 2010 AMAs live up to the hype with its A-list line-up including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Bon Jovi? Let's just the say the past and present of music never sounded so good.

There was so much talent on the AMA stage it would take us forever to marvel over R&B hot mama Riahnna ditching her trademark short red hair for out of control curls and starting the evening with a medley of her current hits Love The Way You Lie, What's My Name and Only Girl or Latin hottie Enrique Iglesias sharing the stage with Pitbull on I like It.

How about Miley Cyrus ditching her body suits and making a last minute switch from Poison's Every Rose has its Thorn to a more conservative approach with Forgiveness and Love.

We wonder if a toned down version of Miley Cyrus will give us more water cooler talk than a racey Miley Cyrus.

It was the year of the choir as Justin Bieber and Katy Perry both accessorized their performances with soulful back up singers.

Marriage agrees with Katy Perry because she has never looked more beautiful or confident.

Detroit was up in the house representing country rock with a stellar and surprisingly soft and beautiful vocal by Kid Rock. The normally gruff rocker went mellow with his new single Times LIke These. The list keeps going with American legends Bon Jovi giving the kids a run for their money with a medley of their current and past hits including It's My Life.

Pink showed the world pregnant is awesome as she raised her glass to the AMAs! By the way, pregnancy agrees with Pink! If it was movie music you wanted, Christina Aguilera performed her steamy track Burlesque from, well, Burlesque of course.

The 2010 American Music Award winners didn't shock us that much being it's a fan voted show and let's face it, we know who the fans are loving this year. Taylor Swift dropped her teenage curls for sophisticated straight hair while accepting Best Country Female Artist. The Black Eyed Peas picked up their eighth AMA while Usher grabbed Favorite R&B Album.

It's been Justin Bieber's year and he managed to win the fans over to take home the T-mobile Breakthrough Artist of the Year award. Speaking of Justin Bieber, not only did he also take home pop categories favorite male and album of the year, in perhaps the biggest surprise of the night the 16-year-old managed to best veterans like Eminem and Lady Gaga to take home the coveted title of Artist of the Year.

Jazmin Grace Grimaldi is the eldest natural child of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. She was born on March 4, 1992 in Palm Springs, California to her mother Tamara Rotolo; a former waitress and later salesperson at a real estate office. Tamara was separated from her husband but not yet divorced when she met Prince Albert while vacationing on the Cote d’Azur.

When Jazmin was born Prince Albert was listed as father on her birth certificate but, the Prince said later, he wanted to keep her paternity secret until she grew up in order that she might have a normal childhood. That hope was dashed when rumors of a daughter were finally confirmed by the Sovereign Prince on July 1, 2006 following a more painful series of events surrounding the revelation of another out-of-wedlock child, Alexandre Coste, whose mother had publicized the news at a time when Monaco and the Grimaldi clan was dealing with the death of their beloved patriarch Prince Rainier III.

Jazmin and her mother visited Monaco earlier in the year and Prince Albert hired a security firm to look after her and invited her to come study in Monaco. Growing up young Jazmin gained a reputation for friendliness and intelligence. She has been an honor student in high school, a science fair winner and student of the month. She also made local news as a soloist in the school choir and once performed with Barry Manilow. In November of 2006 Jazmin visited the Fiji Islands as part of a humanitarian mission to aid the native children in the area of education and assist the community with medical and community services. She was so taken by Fiji that she set up her own charitable foundation for the relief of the poor there called the Jazmin Fund.

Contrary to the hopes of some any idea of Jazmin taking a place in the succession to the Monegasque throne is quite out of the question. On rare occasions in the past history of Monaco an illegitimate child might be adopted or legitimized by the Church to succeed to the throne but in his 2002 constitution the late Prince Rainier III specifically eliminated this possibility in the future. Jazmin is the only one of Prince Albert’s two offspring to take the Grimaldi family name and he has supported her, and his son as well, over the years and made it clear that he stands ready to do all he can for her though he would have liked for her to have reached adulthood before having the full scrutiny of being his daughter brought down on her. That the matter was made public earlier than expected was very much to do with the paternity of his son becoming public and how that event unfolded.

It would have been nice if Jazmin could have grown up without the intrusion of tabloid photographers, being shadowed by a body guard and shuttled around in an armored SUV but such was not the case. Jazmin is currently attending the private Catholic Junipero Serra High School in Orange County.

After her SCRAM bracelet went off at an afterparty for the MTV Movie Awards, Lindsay had to go to court to explain herself and take some urine tests and so on and so forth.

Lindsay claimed that someone spilled a drink on her ankle (I was going to make fun of that, but then I remembered that I’ve definitely had the same thing happen to me and now it’s not funny so much as it is sad). It turns out that she was telling the truth, because according to Lindsay’s lawyer, her urine tests were negative.

So she’s hasn’t been drinking, and it looks like she’s going to be caught up with her alcohol education classes by her hearing on July 6th. Since she’s been doing everything she’s supposed to, she might not have to go to jail. And that’s absurd.

Since when does a few weeks of not breaking a handful of specific laws make up for a few years of rampant drug use and DUI’s? Oh, that’s right, when you starred in a Parent Trap remake twelve years ago and released a shitty album a few years after that. Looks like you lucked out, Lindsay, that’s a really specific loophole.

Jimmy Dean, country music legend, television host and sausage mogul/spokesman, has died at his home in Virginia.He was 81. Donna Meade Dean, his wife, reports that he’d had some health problems but had been functioning well.

A Texan by birth, Dean wrote the #1 Billboard hit “Big Bad John,” guest hosted “The Tonight Show,” and had his own ABC variety series, “The Jimmy Dean Show,” for three years in the mid-1960s. He also became a staple of the talk and game show circuits and did acting work in movies like Diamonds Are Forever and TV series like “Daniel Boone.”

In 1969, he launched the Jimmy Dean Sausage Company and starred in the popular pork product’s commercials for decades. He was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in February and was to have been inducted in October.

Former WWE superstar Rikishi was recently interviewed by Jason Clevett of Slam Sports about the unfortunate passing of his brother Eddie “Umaga” Fatu last year as well his sons the Uso twins, who made their debut on Monday’s RAW attacking the Hart Dynasty. Here are some highlights of what Rikishi said about:

Umaga’s Death: “It’s a great loss, not just for our personal lives, but also for professional wrestling as well, as the fans … You never expect to get a call like that. I’m having goosebumps right here sitting talking to you about it. My dealing with my brother’s loss was through the fans and the family. You would not believe how much heart, calls and emails, condolences from fans throughout the whole world. I was very proud of that.”

“Also to have so many people out of the business of wrestling, the Umaga character has touched everybody, good or bad,” Rikishi said. “It’s something that’s out of our hands. You never want it to happen to you personally. I’m very grateful that I had the last part of his life to spend with him in Australia. We had a heart to heart talk. We hadn’t seen each other in a while. With that note, everything was fantastic. So my heart is full, my heart is full. But I can only say this, I’m very sorry for the loss of professional wrestling, such a good wrestler.”

His Sons, The Uso Twins: “”You guys look out for them! They’re in a developmental deal now. What I told my boys was, ‘You guys have a lot of shoes to fill, but do what you feel comfortable with. Memorial Day Player 2010 : Let us pray

Perhaps you remember the days when a "priest, a minister and a rabbi" would be invited to civic events and each would be invited to pray in his own faith's fashion and vocabulary. That's seldom the case now when it's more likely that only one clergy-person is invited and asked to offer a prayer.

Here's the prayer I will use on Memorial Day at one of Concord's several town observances of the holiday. Because people of many faiths will be present, I have written the prayer to be as inclusive as possible. On the same day my parish will celebrate Mass in our cemetery praying (in our Catholic voice and ritual) for those who are buried there and for all who have gone before us.

The major networks are stocking up on scripted series: 24 of the 26 new series due this fall are sitcoms and dramas and, all told, 68 are scheduled on the five major networks, up from 61 last fall, when NBC tried Jay Leno five nights a week.

The usual assortment of new shows didn't vary much when networks unveiled their lineups to advertisers this week. Only one extra hour of comedy (on Fox), despite a big push to develop more; plenty of cop, spy and lawyer shows, though fewer risky, heavily serialized dramas.

But networks made a big push to shore up the 10 p.m. ET/PT hour, home to nine of the new series. Three will air head-to-head on Wednesdays, including Law & Order: Los Angeles, which has no completed script or cast. (source)

Travis Garland is no stranger to the music world, after leaving Lubbock, TX when he was just 14 and landing in Los Angeles to pursue an acting career he spent his days auditioning and nights writing music.

A chance meeting with a friend landed him in the boy band NLT and they gained a small, but loyal, following with their Timbaland produced single "She Said, I Said" and a nationwide tour with The Pussycat Dolls.

When the group decided to go their separate ways creatively (band mate Kevin McHale is now on Fox's Glee) Garland hooked up with producer Nate "Danja" Hills (Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Britney Spears) to record his solo effort.

The talent doesn't stop at singing and dancing for 20 year old Garland, he also plays piano, co-wrote "Believe" and produced his own vocals for the track. Check out the brand new lyric video for "Believe" and be sure to tune in to American Idol for the live debut.
