On a personal note I really don’t care of the green bar (PageRank) as I feel it is just a factor to sell links and make some quick money. But still Pagerank is an indicator on how Google ranks/assign credibility of your site on it’s ranking algorithm. Initial responses have been really good with updates coming on twitter that ProBlogger is now PR7 (Congrats Darren).

So have you observed changes to the green bar for your sites ?

Our life has been a bit easy with desktop twitter clients like TweetDeck that places the replies in a separate columns. I have used Quotably in the past to track twitter conversations but now Quotably has been officially closed.

Mass Payments can be only made through PayPal Premier or Business accounts.

To make a Mass Payment you will have to use the balance of your PayPal funds and you cannot use your Credit card to make the payment.

The current transaction fee for Mass Payment is 2% per payment, with a maximum of $1.00 per payment (so a lot of money can be saved in fees).

Steps to making a Mass Payment:

1. Click on the Mass Pay link at the bottom after you login to your PayPal account.

2.Click on the “Make a Mass Payment” link as shown in the figure below.

3. PayPal needs a tab-delimited file containing your recipients(s) information so that you can send a mass payment.

4. The MassPay format file can be easily created with Notepad. Open Notepad type in the recipient email address [press tab] amount you wish to be transferred [press tab] and then the currency. Once you enter all the details then you can save the file on your desktop for easy reference.

Step 5: Coming back to the Mass Payment screen as in Step #4 we locate the Mass Payment file along with the other details as shown in the figure and click the “Continue” button.

Step 6: Next you will see a confirmation screen to validate the payment details as you have entered through the Mass Payment file. Once you cross-check all the details are perfect. You can click on the “Send Money” link and the payment will be successfully delivered and the recipient will not be charged any transaction fees and you (sender) will have to bear a $1 fee for sending the mass payment.

You will see the Mass Payment is completed almost instantly using the “My Accounts” link.

Is making Mass Payment Safe?

Mass Payment offers no protection for the buyer so make sure that you trust the recipent of the payment as Mass Payments can also not be cancelled.

Saving Money with Mass Pay:

So the next time you are looking for payment for a particular payment by PayPal for various services, domains or anything else make sure that you direct your clients to this PayPal Mass Payment tutorial save money on the transaction fees.

Following is a small tutorial on how you can link up your twitter account with Facebook account.

Step 1: Login to your Facebook account and Facebook-Twitter can be directly accessed by this page and click on the “Go to Application” link.

Step 2: Click on the “Allow” button and enter your Twitter login details so that Facebook can access your Twitter data. Your Twitter login data is entirely secure with Facebook.

Step 3: After you login you will be greeted with the screen below and click on “Allow Twitter to Update Your Facebook Status” button.

Step 4: Then click on the “Allow Status Updates” and you are done syncing your status updates from Twitter. You can also edit the application settings from the same page.

So once the set up is done, all the tweets you post will be sent to your friends on Facebook and you will be surprised to get a lot of replies back too!

You can take the Facebook-Twitter application a step further by importing your blog posts on Facebook which will appear along with notes on your Facebook profile page.

1. TwitScoop: TwitScoop tracks the most popular keywords on twitter and also has a search feature. It also displays the latest tweets for that term. You also get a graphical representation of the rise and the fall in the trends for that particular keyword versus time.

2. TweetScan: TweetScan is also a cool tool which displays all the recent conversations for the particular key-phrase.
