Four Female Advantage in Business

2012-09-25T15:01:00.004+07:00

Based on data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM of the Republic of Indonesia, 2011, approximately 60 percent of UKM run by women in Indonesia. "Without realizing they women have an important role in improving the country's economy," said Pinky Saptandari, Advisor to the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection told Compass Female, in the event of Katumbiri Expo at the Jakarta Convention Center, South Jakarta.

Indonesian women to advance awareness and growing the economy and helping families and the development of improved seeds of entrepreneurial spirit of women. Conditions of economic crisis indirectly also support the growth of women's entrepreneurship in order to create a personal and family economic self-sufficiency.
"But most importantly, these women could help her independence as a human being without having to depend on her husband within certain limits," beber Pinky.
No doubt, too, that the self-employed women can have financial independence in the family. "With the economic independence, women can have their own power and the power to do anything, as well as open access to all networks. Addition, power will also be able to strengthen women psychologically, and avoid any acts of harassment or domestic violence in the household., And this makes women have a family bargaining in this position, not meant to beat the husband, but not to be trivialized because we also have a contribution in the economy, "said Pinky.

Unfortunately, many women who until now have not been aware of their ability to entrepreneurship. A lot of those things into consideration, such as lack of support from their husbands, or because there is an obligation in the domestic realm that must be done every day.
"But it can still be done well. Should not sacrificed when women choose to entrepreneurship," said Santi Mia Sipan, President Director of PT Jaty Arthamas, in other occasions, Pisa Cafe.

Not a few women who decided to become entrepreneurs with capital daring, but was able to reap success. "These women have some advantages for entrepreneurship than men," said Pinky.

Some of the advantages of women in managing the business than men are:

1. Networking

compared to men, women have the advantage in terms of networking. "Women have an advantage in terms of network marketing, because it has a broad social," he explained. This is because women have the social skills and outgoing, making it easier to be able to capture the consumer. For example, through the gathering.
"Many people, especially men, who assume that the gathering just to spend money, when in fact it is one way to build relationships," said Pinky. Today, every woman-especially housewives-bound to follow some social gathering activities simultaneously at one time. If cleverly, according to Pinky opportunities can be used to sell our products such as cakes, shoes or clothes.

2. Creative

Women judged more keen to see the business opportunities, and smart businesses see a gap compared to men. Sometimes things terterpikirkan by men and considered a trivial business move, it can be profitable and successful when done by women.

3. Painstaking

Women are more careful in running the business. The details in the business affairs such as packaging, labeling, or other small, highly thought of by women so as to make their products become more attractive, and have a high selling power.

4. Not Easily Discouraged

In business, women are considered more resilient and not easily discouraged when a failure. "She is like the roots of plants are constantly looking for ways to grow and succeed," said Pinky.

When faced with failure, women have a high fighting spirit and more impatient to start everything from scratch. Often when faced with the problem of layoffs, women are more resilient in finding ways to survive and put aside her pride to start a business from the bottom than men. "Many employees are finally able to live well thanks to the help of the efforts of his wife who had a side business at home," he added.

Four Female Weakness in Business

2012-09-25T14:27:00.000+07:00

Fear of failure in entrepreneurship can be a major obstacle in business

The women are now increasingly interested in entrepreneurship. "In this era of globalization, they are many who are interested in entrepreneurship and self-contained as a form of emancipation of women," said psychologist Tika Bisono.

It is actually a good effect on improving the economy of the family, female independence, self-actualization, who would help the country boost the economy. These women actually have many positive qualities and the ability to entrepreneurship. "Intuition is very good business woman, and empathy of women is higher than men," he added.

Although much has its advantages, women still keep a number of disadvantages when it began managing entrepreneurial businesses, here we describe four female weakness in business

1. Too many Thoughts

This seems to be the basic problems of every woman. Great dedication on families making women, especially housewives, have a lot of mind when deciding to start entrepreneurial activities. "Many women who are thinking about leaving the kids to work, or can not take care of their husbands, or anything else. Fact to be entrepreneurs all things can be done well, and the time owned more flexible than office workers," added Tika.

2. Excessive Empathy

The nature of this woman is actually more like a boomerang in business. On the one hand, the nature of empathy can make women susceptible to a variety of conditions in the vicinity. Not infrequently entrepreneurial ideas actually come from these concerns, such as efforts to process fabric waste, plastic waste, caring for children who are less able, to empower the women around her to improve living standards.
However, on the other hand, the nature of empathy is sometimes overgrowing in women. This trait often makes women do not think rationally and instead put her emotional side. So the self-employed women who are just starting or have been able to do business often have a variety of problems, namely fraud.

3. Business Management

Until now, women in business have not mentally tough guy. Besides experience in the field of business management is still less than men. The women are often hesitant and indecisive when making decisions related to business management. "However, it can actually be solved with business experience and through formal schools," he said.

4. Fear of failure

Compared to men, women are often afraid to take big risks in starting a business, and taking steps to expand its business. "The fear of failing is higher in women than men. This is because there are many things related to family economic thought, and children. This is also an obstacle to progress," he added.
According to Tim, the failure of a person in the business is a natural thing. Because of this failure can be a whip to still be innovating and daring step forward. Fear of failure makes these women tend to run in place.

Or basically anything else that's silly and unimportant, but is an important part of me feeling unashamedly like a girl.
