Member Service Rep (PS 029-09 RET) - Austin, TX

To help us achieve our mission, we are currently seeking qualified individuals for a FULL-TIME Member Service Representative opportunity at our Pond Springs branch in NORTH AUSTIN, TX. Schedule: Monday-Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.; Rotating Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Starting Pay Rate: $11.45 - $13.00/hr, plus monthly incentives The PositionIn the MSR role, you will be responsible for retaining existing members, as well as acquiring new members through account servicing, developing personalized banking relationship and offering superior member service and products.   DUTIES Specific responsibilities include: Assisting members with account inquires and transactions, and researching and resolving issues with all account types as requested by members.Proactively promoting credit union products and services by capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities provided by routine daily transactions.  Generating leads and scheduling members to meet with an Account Management Professional to establish new accounts or loans.Educating members regarding multiple delivery channels (such as online banking) and promoting their use for member convenience. Providing services such as access to statements, notary services, member account number cards, wire transfers, direct deposit, check orders, ATM cards, and account closings.      QUALIFICATIONS Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). 6+ months of financial industry and/or retail sales experience preferred. Webmaster/Internet Marketing Manager (026-09 MKT) - Austin, TX

We want to show everyone in and around Austin what it is like to bank less and live more!To help us achieve our mission, we are currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Webmaster/Internet Marketing Manager.  This is a FULL-TIME position at our Pond Springs branch in NORTH AUSTIN, TX (near Anderson Mill Road). Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, but some flexibility may be possible. Starting Pay Rate: $61,200 - $80,000/year to start, depending on experience The Job    This position designs, develops, and executes the architecture and navigation of Amplify's website in order to optimize website engagement and convert website visitors to Amplify members.  It is also responsible for drive-to-web marketing including search engine optimization, pay-per-click, and online advertising. DUTIES Develops enterprise-wide web applications using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).Designs, develops, and executes site architecture and navigation including redesigns and upgrade.Ensures servers and browsers are configured so that all Amplify web sites are visible to the largest possible audience. Configures network security so that publications are served only to the intended audience.Ensures presentation of a consistent visual image on the Amplify web site by promoting uniform fonts, formatting icons, images, layout techniques, and modularization. Promotes proper use of HTML language and stays abreast of developing HTML standards.  Works closely with the credit union art director and communications specialist to develop creative for the website consistent with brand standards.Promotes the Amplify web site to appropriate internal and external audiences, leveraging SEO, PPC, and online advertising; establishes, maintains, and moderates an online community forum, webinars, podcasts, blogs, and related features.Establishes links from other relevant sites and develops relevant searchable content to drive site traffic growth.Maintains HTML template/image archives and related records as required.Manages Flash/video content for website.Owns site releases, QA signoff, and documentation. Ensures site is optimized and is cross-platform and cross-browser compatible.   Advises internal groups on all issues relating to the web site.  Reports on site analytics. Collaborates with creative staff on design and layout issues to facilitate web publishing. Works in conjunction with the marketing program administrator and business intelligence analyst to develop platforms for fully integrated email lifecycle management from web generated leads. Acts as the member evangelist on ease of use and navigation. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 5 years related work experience, preferably in a financial institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Bachelor's degree and basic project management skills preferred.SOFTWARE AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS  To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of sales and contact management software, project management software and web-based software applications and tools is valuable, including Flash and video/audio editing software, Frontpage, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML and desktop publishing.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSMust be bondable by a credit union.This position requires 2+ years of experience with: ·          HTML 3.2/4.0 at the tag level (no WYSIWYG is required);·          Dreamweaver and Coldfusion; ·          DHTML, COM and client-side JavaScript programming;·          Browser compatibility issues; ·          Microsoft server-side VBScript and ASP development; ·          Converting existing images (TIFF, BMP, PSD) to online use (JPG, GIF) using Adobe ImageReady and PhotoShop.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
