noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Sat, 11 Jul 2015 05:26:00 +0000

Nothing like an awesome to MMV (manga music video) to mix things up. Superb editing on this video, never having a still image and running it at 60 frames per second making it really smooth.

There's only one manga music video that tops this one and it an old one from 2010, The Beast Within. It's based off on of the best manga of all time Bersrerk.

Not much to say here. Fast, action packed anime music video with a good metal song. The anime looks pretty interesting, after reading a couple reviews some people where calling it the Japanese X-Men.

This video was quite enjoyable and more so if you can relate to it as an editor. The song has a slow tempo that picks up about half-way through the video and the visual story being presented is good. The editor has done a pretty nice job at blending so many different anime into one anime music video.

Song: The Silent Comedy - All Saints Day
Anime: Kamisama no Memochou, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Kimi ni Todoke, Shingeki no Kyoujin, Robotics; Notes, Mirai Nikki, Sasami-san @ Ganbaranai, Sakurasou no Pet no Kanojo, Byousoku 5 Sentimeter, Evangelion 2.22, Ore no Imouto Konna Ni Kawaii GA GA Wake Nai, Gorz - Fracture

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Mon, 20 Oct 2014 01:36:00 +0000

The art style of this anime is so strange yet still stylish and really well done. This AMV does a pretty good job of showing off this somewhat surreal anime.

The thing that is most strange would have to be the way the faces are drawn, aside from that it's not that different then most anime. The anime is a movie called Tekkon Kinkreet, which translates to Black & White.

The editor Shin has done it once again, blending just the right song with finely picked clips from just a single anime. Have yet to see the Code Geass series, and even though this anime music video contains spoilers, am sure it will still be thoroughly enjoyable.

Fail Parts - Dubstep - Enengalion

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Sat, 21 Jun 2014 02:13:00 +0000

A fast paced anime music video featuring Rebuild of Evangelion, Redline and Attack on Titan. This video doesn't mess around it has a high bpm tune with fast yet crisp visuals. A very well done video for such speed, especially enjoyed the Attack on Titan scenes at the end.

Song: Linkin Park - The Catalyst (Pendulum Remix)

If looking for the version of Evangelion used in the AMV it is actually called the known in Japan as Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition, and is 309 minutes long.

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Wed, 28 May 2014 03:31:00 +0000

Such a good video for such an awesome anime and song, it's quite easy to picture Shinji listening to this song on his headphones. A great choice of anime and music with some awesome video editing skills, a must to download.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is an anime masterpiece with one of the most enduring worldwide cult franchises in all of geekdom. Evangelion is a superior anime, a giant-robot tale of unusual depth, feeling, and detail, and personally, am not a big fan of mecha anime. Most of the people whom claim to not like NGE do so because they don't like to think, the complex characters and richness of the narrative is more then some can handle.

Wrong Side of Heaven - Full Metal: Brotherhood

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Sat, 24 May 2014 00:26:00 +0000

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is definitely one of the best anime series, even if you've seen the normal Full Metal consider watching the Brotherhood remake, the story follows the manga a little better. While this AMV isn't about the Elric brothers it does feature a pretty important character in the story Colonel Roy Mustang. The colour effects in this video add to immersivness of the song, but not to the point to where it's a distraction from the scenes. Enjoy.

Infinite Darkness - Sail (remix)

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Mon, 05 May 2014 01:48:00 +0000

When ever hearing this song, the first thought that pops up are the videos of guys in wing-suits jumping off of mountains, that just happens to be the first time I heard this song so that's probably why. Wing-suit jumping aside the song also goes really well with this AMV, the sound quality is good, the visual effects and the timing for them are right on as well, and the clips chosen go good. Enjoy.

This anime music video took over 2 years for the editor to make, and it definitely shows from the scene selection to the of image quality and asthetics. The editor used 48 different anime to make this AMV but that did not detract from the quality of the video it's not chaotic mess it actually blends nicely.

Renory - Electronic

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Thu, 17 Oct 2013 02:13:00 +0000

A fast electronic beat to go with some nice digital futuristic scenes. The scenes are bright and colorful with lots of moving parts, constantly transitioning with only a couple slowed down parts. Almost plays like a visualizer but not quite there.

A very good anime music video even though the artist claims to have put it together in a rush. Have scene a couple of the clips in this video in other AMVs but the majority of them are original. Am definitely a fan of the futuristic scenes, we will have to see more of work by the editor.

Love the style of this AMV. This anime looks older then it actually is, was surprised to find out it was released in 2008 cause it is definitely hand drawn and animated.

This anime music video looks really clean and crisp, the editor did a great job with the choice of song and pace of the video, not to mention there are no special effects in this one just nice and smooth transitions to the next clip which works really well for this anime, anything else probably would have ruined the video.

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Wed, 31 Jul 2013 02:16:00 +0000

This AMV is a multi-editor project of Fullmetal Alchemist with a nice atmospheric flow. It's nice to see an anime music video featuring just one anime instead of a big mash of random clips.

There are definitely some good AMVs featuring tons of different anime, but it's easier to follow and relate the song to the scenes in when the AMV focuses on just one. Should be especially easy to follow this video, as Fullmetal Alchemest: Brotherhood is pretty popular, even among non otaku.

Virtual Gamesanity (Beta)

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Tue, 04 Jun 2013 01:11:00 +0000

A fan service anime music video, featuring some of the best anime but presented through a virtual reality device that appears to be contacts, or even possibly a brain implant. A really cool idea for an AMV, the kid was looking like he was about to do homework then instead starts browsing some games that we know today, but presented as various anime, which am guessing in his time would look like real life. The beta title most likely implies this AMV is still being worked on.

Ther is no chorus to this song, but is still really enjoyable, the text overlay adds pretty good depth to the anime music video where you can tell there is a clear message from the creator. A good AMV that uses allot of different anime very well that's sure to get the mind thinking, if not for the message in the text overlay, but the memories of the stories in the anime.

This anime music video just bleeds fan made content! The anime Evangelion is held really high among fellow otaku as well as the musician Jonathan Coultan, which this particular song comes from the game Portal by Valve. Fans of Valve and steam (the digital distribution platform) don't just play games, they truly appreciate them as an art form, the same way true anime fans don't watch cartoons, there's a big difference.

Kuzo to the Sky

noreply@blogger.com (bahelit) — Fri, 01 Mar 2013 17:01:00 +0000

This AMV has some good visuals to the point of looking like a visualizer and the song is pretty good as well, fast and electronic. An interesting part of this anime music video is the first word in the title "Kuzo", which there was no English translation from Japanese, and may not even be a Japanese word. After looking it up this is what was found;

Kuzo
kabbalistic writing found upside down on the reverse of a mezuzah.
- Which was found at: Sofer Goy

The Kabbalah itself is an esoteric method, discipline and school of thought which predates all religions and some may say is where the religions we know of today got their roots. A very interesting subject indeed.
