I have the privilege of being a 2011 New Way New You team member, and can proudly state I lost 24 pounds in the first 12 weeks using the NUTRILITE Weight Management Program. I love this program because I can eat more and exercise less: more calories than programs I’ve tried in the past, so I’m not hungry, and less exercise than I thought I would need to get results. Some things I learned from the program?

1. Now that I know I am a Carb Reducer genotype, I no longer feel guilty eating avocado on my salad or nuts for snacks. Good fats!
2. Stairs are now my friends. I take every opportunity to use them.
3. 4321 program and other exercise activities can result in a lower body fat percentage.  I was thrilled to see my percentage drop.

Some of you may have seen the profile of me in the Health Advocate blog, talking about my New Way New You  program participation.

As part of the 2011 NWNY team, I am 27 pounds lighter and 9 friends richer.  Our team continues to communicate with each other on a regular basis.  It’s motivating to hear about everyone’s success as we all continue on the program. These IBOs are now health advocates in their own groups, and are inspiring others to take charge of their health.

So you can imagine I was extremely excited to meet up with Nina Sicaeros, an IBO and member of the 2011 team, in California this past weekend. I was at Nina’s organization’s event for a business meeting, and was able to spend some time catching up. She’s lost 12 more pounds since I last saw her, and she looks gorgeous.

Nina is a great example of the results you can get using the NWNY program.  Stay tuned to future posts to learn more about it.
